Stunningly beautiful in all ways
I loved everything about this drama. The writing made sense. The FL was given intelligence, beauty, and wit. We didn't have to endure a submissive, meek female without any courage or strength. The ML was written to give her love, support and allow her to be her own person. It is so admirable and intoxicating to watch especially as a women.Was this review helpful to you?

Finally caused payback!
The journey of Sun (Minlee’s character) was beautiful. It shows how grief is often not visible and that there’s numerous pathways. Not to forget the acting was amazing, especially because the one scene he acts out is jumping (committing suicide) but it was portrayed so beautifully you couldn’t help but feel it was real.The chemistry between the two actors was also amazingly shown and it fully consumes you to the point you feel inclined to watch the next episode quickly. The casting for this series was amazing!!
Not to forget Director Arthur, who starts off cold and you slowly see different sides of him. The way they slowly show him changing throughout the episodes with how he treats Sun is beautiful.
The last episode was beautifully written in the sense they started it with Sun finally getting his closure which had me to TEARS within the first few minutes. The way each character gets the ending they deserve but not all of them believe they should’ve received it.
Although this series had many twists and turns, moments that made you feel heavily empathetic. It was really well written with massive props to the characters!

Altra serie pronta ad andare nello scatolo.
Questa serie io me la ricordo quando è uscita. Poi non ero ancora abbastanza avvezza e quindi non la aveva ancora vista, però posso dire? Grande trauma e sono felice di averla vista ora che sono un po' più adulta e matura. Insomma, tutto questo per dire che questa serie va nello scatolo delle serie da vedere almeno una volta nella vita, ma come dire, una volta basta e avanza.La storia parla di Shin che vuole vivere il college. Incontra qualche amico e vuole che sostanzialmente la sua vita sia pulita e lineare, fino a che non è più così. P'Keng è un suo senior, una persona che dovrebbe essere una sua guida, una persona che Shin dice, di cui potrebbe innamorarsi, una persona che però diventa il suo più grande incubo. Quello che mi è piaciuto di più di questa serie è che si parla di quello che è successo, la VS, e questa lascia un segno indelebile, non come in alcune serie odierne, dove il consenso è un po' così e nessuno ne parla o dove anche se succede un'effettiva violenza, ecco che nessuno ne parla e tutti amici come prima, a meno che questo non sia stato fatto da un cattivo della storia. Qui P'Keng, non è il cattivo che tutti si aspettano, è una persona che ha tanti problemi, ma che all'inizio ci viene presentato come un buono, come una persona che appunto ha dei problemi familiari e con un tipo di internalized omophobia, ma che di per se si comporta bene con Shin. Poi il NO il perde il suo potere. Perde il suo NO verso il suo migliore amico. E il NO di Shin verso di lui. Il potere del NO viene meno ed ecco che la storia prende una piega tragica. Che finisce con le modifiche che Shin ha fatto su sé stesso, non diquelli che hanno fatto partire la valanga. Quello che succede alla fine della puntata 2 non è altro che l'evento terminale di distruzione della valanga che però comincia con quella foto di Shin e Keng, che porta ad una serie di evnti che causano le modifche nel carettere di Keng e in quello che fa. Keng all'inizio non è una persona intimente cattiva, come potrebbero essere altri personaggi che compiono il suo stesso atto, e questo forse è il problema. La storia di The Effect è quella di come un singolo evento porti ad un elenco di altre cose che non solo non sono fermabili, ma sembrano nemmeno non evitabili. Devo fare le mie più sentite congratulazioni agli attori, che sono stati fenomenali, sopratutto James. Il finale aperto poi credo sia la cosa migliore della storia, chi finisce sotto quell'auto: Shin che dice che è cambiato, ma che questo cambiamento sembra solo una maschera e che rivede l'uomo che gli ha rovinato la vita, o Keng, che si ritrova davanti all'uomo che gli ha dato una letterale uscita gratis di prigione e a cui ha rovinato la vita. Una bella serie, ma da scatolo.

Was a bit dissappointed

I was so looking forward to this series as I had watched the two previous seasons and adored them so much. Season 1 was trying to find it's grounding and i gave that an 8. Season 2 was hella good and I gave that a 9. This season.... I don't know. I guess that it was just not for me.
I don't know if it's how short the episodes were or that how it was only two episodes per week that when you are finally starting to get into the groove of it, the episode was already done. I at sometimes forgot when it was even showing until some days later. As I saw someone mentioned, they really didn't use the love class that much, but it had to be used as the series name is 'Love Class' (it was seen to me as hey, we have to include it with one of the couples because that's how the story flowed with the two previous seasons). It got to a point where I didn't even care anymore about what happened to the couples.
Maybe I should have binge watched this because watching it weekly clearly did not work in favour for me as it just left me disappointed and actually thinking that they need to come better next time if they decide to continue the Love Class franchise.

Setting the New Gold Standard for Live-Action Adaptations!
Hands down the superior live-action adaptation! Out of all the live-action adaptations I’ve watched, PAYBACK is easily the best and most accurate. The production team deserves massive praise for this masterpiece because they stayed incredibly faithful to the original manhwa panels, perfectly capturing the gritty, high-stakes atmosphere of the webtoon. They proved that you can respect the source material while delivering a phenomenal television drama.Massive props to the actors too! Everyone did so incredibly well and embodied their characters perfectly—I honestly can't wait to see them reunite or star in their next series!

Great revenge premise, zero emotional depth
LAZY WRITING, LAZY WRITING, LAZY WRITING! Ughhhh.I feel so disappointed about it. The strong revenge premise got me hooked from the start, and I absolutely loved watching the female lead. Her character was a breath of fresh air...so direct, straightforward, and unapologetically ruthless. I loved it. But unfortunately, that is pretty much all there is to it.
1. The Shallow Foundation of Her Trauma/Past
So many key elements felt heavily underexplained and glossed over, particularly the brutal massacre of the female lead's family. Such a massive tragedy was rushed through in just a few cutscenes. They really should have delved into that much deeper, especially because it serves as the main motivation and trauma that shapes who she is.
Instead, it all gets shrugged off with a cheap implication: “Oh, her family held too much military power, so they got killed, and now she wants revenge, the end.” Lol.
What exactly was her position in all of this? I wanted to actually see it. Show me the trauma, the loss, and the grief! How am I supposed to build any real understanding of her past or feel genuine empathy for her? (Not to mention that her og body is faceless and we know nothing about her family at all)
It felt like a forced premise just shoved down our throats so the show could skip the hard work, telling the audience, “Let's not dwell on it and just move on with the plot! Back to our badass female lead who is here to serve some justice and face!" Jesus. The psychological and emotional weight behind her trauma doesn't get explained or shown at all. I wanted to FEEL the weight of what she has lost and lived through.
Instead, she is just instantly stoic and nonchalant about it. At first, I thought there might be deeper, lingering emotions beneath the surface, or that she had crafted this cold exterior as a protective mask to deal with her trauma. But no, there is nothing behind it at all. Zero emotional complexity. She doesn't seem like a person with no feelings to me, but it just doesn't get shown. It felt so shallow. Show me the actual emotional fallout, because this is not how real trauma works...real trauma doesn't just turn someone into an unbothered, perfectly calculated person overnight with zero grief, panic, or internal conflict.
It felt like the writers wanted the cool aesthetic of a cold, hardened, and ruthless female lead, and trust me, I am completely here for it, but they refused to write any of the messy human pain required to forge someone like that. The emotional foundation of her character is just far too hollow.
2. The Unexplained Body Swap and Omniscience
And let's not even get started on the body swap. Oh, they swapped bodies in a magical, mysterious way! How did that even happen? As a viewer, you are just magically expected to accept it without any explanation.
The body-swap and soul-transfer mechanics are completely unexplained. Yet, she somehow instantly possesses hyper-specific childhood memories and secret codes: e.g. in episode six, when she suddenly knows the secret letter code to the original princess's father, without any transition period or logical reasoning.
Oh, but our female lead is just an effortless genius! At first, I thought she might have simply regained the memories of the original princess's body, but no, she apparently already knows everything about her new family dynamics, their intricate backstories, and possesses a groundbreaking, masterclass understanding of court politics from minute one. And I kept asking myself: Where did she gain all this knowledge from?
It's just lazy writing from top to bottom, at least for me.
I honestly expected way more out of this, and I'm just so let down. Since I ended up dropping the show around episode six, I honestly don't even know if any of these things actually get explained later on in the story...so take this review with that grain of salt.
But from what I saw, a great revenge premise and such a fun, ruthless female lead deserved a much better script. Relying on lazy writing shortcuts right out of the gate just killed the vibe for me completely.
At the end of the day, it just wasn't for me, though of course it might be totally different for other people.

You know what...HELL YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Sometimes breaking the fourth wall is exactly how you should do it. This is literally one of the most wholesome things I've ever watched. In terms of how season 2's go, this one's pretty darn great because you'll be smiling throughout the whole thing.While I had my issues with Me and Thee, I can appreciate how they tried to clear parts of the story and plotpoints in this one, while also giving the people more of the characters they wanna see on screen. I like how they cemented the friendship of Thee and Mhok, and how they better brought out character nuances for basically all of the characters even in just 4 episodes. I really didn't think they'd be able to wrap it up, but they did!!!! It was so cute I can't.
It's lighthearted and sweet, and really makes you miss them but leaves you with a happy feeling in your heart.

That whole sequence where Khun Thee is directing "Me and Thee" with the real, actual pairs from GMMTV? Funniest shit ever I was laughing throughout that whole thing lmao. Like what do you mean I just got to see Jimmy as Khun Thee? Hell yeah.

How single can u feel
The show is basically a fantasy dream come true. Every couple has their struggle and every individual has their story. 3 in 1 story and all has amazing ending and very complete. Dont feel rush but feels very short. Like give us more fluffy please. The show even uncut version doesnt have crazy scene's but its so heart-warming n every kiss is sweet. My fav part is how the 6 couples interlink and how they are all so sweet and how green flag forest . My y side simply love the part where the tops love the bottoms so much that the extent they go + how rich /powerful / strong they are + how muchhhhhhhh they love to show off their love hahahahaJust be prepared to kick your legs with fin, watch their love and feel single , watch the friendships between the groups and just wish you are part of them .

I have finally gotten the time to come around to write this review. I enjoyed watching it as I believe that Boss and Nouel (especially Boss) did an excellent job in this series. I was seeing them act in a different light compared to their previous two series. Boss had me entertained with his antics. And I believe that Nouel was able to play off that for his character. We still of course get steamy scenes from them in this series.
I honestly feel that if it was just focusing on Fu and Moo characters that I would give this series a higher score. But we are introduced to other supporting side couples, and I felt that we were not able to explore them properly as it was only a 10 episodes series. I initially thought that we were getting to see Fu's brothers enter relationships like him, but we are introduced to the beginning (maybe the end of one for now?) of two more, making it four supporting couples. The youngest one actually ended okay for me because it's young love, so I don't mind seeing where that one goes. The middle brother, Tai, I felt his relationship with Yu wasn't explored properly leaving me wanting more.
The next one I got confused until I realized that it wasn't his friend with the police officer but someone who dated Kluayhom (Earth's character). And then coming down to the end their friend, Tian, who likes to sleep around, seems to be interested in one of the workers in Fu's hotel, who is putting up a resistance to be with him. And with all of these relationships just left open, it got annoyed to me...until I saw those three dreaded words at the end of the series- to be continued. Now, some series do get to be continued while some...don't. I do not know if we would be fortunate enough to have this series continue. But as of right now, i can only give a grade for what was presented to me and that's why i am going with 7.5.

A sequel that should've been part of the main series
Peach and Me was a wonderful, short sequel to Me and Thee. However, it really felt like less of a sequel and more of a "oh they're finally tying up the loose ends of the original series." While I loved the original show, it did feel unfinished, specifically with the two side couples that each got about half a storyline. This show manages to give both side couples a real finale, while keeping with the light and humorous tone that Me and Thee had.I think that Peach and Thee will be Phuwin and Pond's most iconic characters for a very long time, and they did a great job re-entering these roles for this show. A lot more of this show focused on Rome and Mok (William and Est), which I really enjoyed considering how little we got to see of them in the original series despite their characters being fairly important. I thought they did a very good job wrapping up their storyline, as well as giving Perth and Santa's characters a bit more time to feel complete. Overall, while the show was a fun watch, I really think that these 4 episodes should have just been added to the original series, instead of promising fans a sequel series that was just a few hours long in total.

The most baffling rating ever - It gets a -10 from me.
Things I liked1 It'll be a brief list. The poster. And that is also misleading. You think you'll watch a lighthearted rom com and you are in for a melodrama of the worst kind without any redeeming qualities. I respect everyone's opinions but that this drama has a rating over 5 baffles me.
2 The ML. Is he the best actor out there? No, bit he's not the worst either. He's good looking and gives out a kind, sympathetic vibe, so I hope he has something better in his plans.
Things I hated
1 Everything else. The story. It was stupid and overdramatic. The sister, the other actress, the ending, the whole drama.
2 The FL. I've never seen her in anything else, but let's be real, she must be one of the worst actresses out there. Her expression was only one: miserable. No matter what she tried to convey, misery was the only thing she managed. Her character was pathetic to say the least and I didn't care one iota if she had a happy ending or not.
3 The mother. What a despicable excuse for a human being. The actress did a great job, I give her that, because I rarely hated someone so much. Not even the mother in Never Ending Summer.

Short and sweet – nothing more, but nothing less.
This was a quick, light-hearted (with a touch of weightier themes) and enjoyable watch, perfect if you’re in the mood for something light and low-commitment. The vibes were fun, the pacing was fast, and it definitely delivered as a solid Season 2 (or whatever you want to call it). This is the kind of story where you just have to suspend your disbelief and enjoy the ride. There were tons of cute moments, but most of all I loved how well everything flowed together – nothing felt forced.I liked both Thee and Peach, and it was fun watching their love develop and getting a peek into their life as a family.
One thing I didn’t like was the interactions and hints about Lookplub and Mira. They could have spent that time on Mok and Rome instead. Maybe because I really wanted to see more of their story, not just small parts of it.
All in all, an enjoyable watch with plenty of smiles, laughs and chuckles.

Must Watch
If you're planning to watch this drama you absolutely should. It's one of the best manhwa adaptations I've ever seen. Unlike many other adaptations that end up ruining the original story this one does exactly the opposite. It stays true to the source material while bringing it to life beautifully.The casting is perfect and every actor delivers an outstanding performance. There isn't a single character whose acting feels awkward or unconvincing. The two leads have incredible chemistry and portray their characters flawlessly. Even the antagonists are so well written and well acted that you'll genuinely hate them which just shows how convincing their performances are.
This is easily one of the best dramas I've ever watched. Since I'd already read the manhwa i went into it with very low expectations because adaptations often fail to capture what made the original special. Thankfully this drama completely exceeded my expectations.
This had me hooked from beginning to end. The character's relationships feel natural and meaningful. The production quality and cinematography also add so much to the overall experience. Whether you've read the manhwa or are going into the story for the first time this drama is absolutely worth watching. It's a rare adaptation that not only respects the original work but in many ways elevates it. I can't recommend it enough.

Best spinoff I’ve watched
Genuinely one of THEE best I have watched (pun intended). From pond physically being Thee and also how they don’t try to force random plot twists and problems, just showing how life flows.Part of me didn’t want Tawan and Aran (PerthSanta) to end up together but it also shows the journey to being a suitable couple isn’t perfect but it gets better. I think the special touch of showing Tawan no longer jealous of Aran was adorable in the last episode!!
Rome and Mok getting their happy ending was definately deserved and I think what was the cherry on top was the fact that Mok and Thee had a promise to be friends even in secret.
The whole plot didn’t push any concepts or break anything that happened in the previous one it just built on which was lovely.
My favourite : DEFINATELY when they did a revamp of recording me and thee in peach and me. The constant cut and even Peach being jealous showing that their feelings are mutual! It also shows how their bond is so irreplaceable and that it really could only be shown by them!!
10/10 show and DEFINATELY going to rewatch it!!

Two for the price of One.....but One is more interesting than the Other
**Edit** Do not miss the clips after the closing credits of EACH episode! I missed them all until a friend told me. Now I have to go back and re-watch them. ARrghhh..... I might have felt differently about the drama if I had watched them before.Subjective Gut Rating: 8.25
Well, I would really want to check out the full drama “Into the Role” (the drama within the drama). All the fun stuff happened while the leads were filming that ‘drama’. The general plot isn’t new as we’ve seen and known actors falling in love with their co-stars because they are so deep into their roles. Having said that, I am still pleasantly surprised to see a drama coming out of China to be able to explicitly showcase the obsession and sexual fascination depicted here.
This is Ollie and Shu Yuan’s first drama and although I have things to pick on, they did a fabulous job for a first project as the main leads. Personally, I think Ollie did a better all-around job with better subtle acting than Shu Yuan. However, I feel that Shu Yuan did a better job when filming “Into the Role” when he has to be emotional and obsessive. But once he’s back to real life Zhang Zhun, his everyday acting becomes a little bland. These two main leads sorta have a role reversal there. Ollie as Fan Chi (Drama) is more quiet and controlled, but more impulsive and wears his heart on his sleeves in real life as Zhen Xin. I think Ollie balances both roles well, thus, I think his overall acting is better. Shu Yuan’s Gao Zhun (drama) is more chaotic, with more venues to showcase his talents. But as Zhang Zhun (real life) being the more cautious and inexperienced one, his weakness shows more
“Deep In” spends a lot of time inside the drama. And because it feels more dramatic, I was more engaged while watching that part of the story. I wish it had spent a little bit less time there, but give me more of Zhen Xin and Zhang Zhun in real life. I want to see them explore more of those confusing feelings and question more if they truly love each other. I think they tried to do that in the last few episodes, but I wanted more throughout. I understand sexual attraction plays a big role and I want those scenes as well (of course! LOL) but I want the thinking and the questioning to happen more after they get intimate. Oftentimes, there’s no time to breathe and they jump back into filming of the drama.
Now, my other criticisms are my personal pet peeves. They may not bug you, but they bug me. 😜 As I said, I want those intimate and sexy scenes. I want more kisses. But Ollie seems to be doing all the kissing and Shu Yuan is just there. Give me more lip movement and sucking, Shu Yuan! I know this is not a Thai or Korean BL, so I will excuse the sexy scenes for not satisfying my personal satisfaction. My other pet peeves are skinny actors. Ollie looks so skinny that it’s hard to believe he plays a therapist. I would have called that bad casting! I know you can’t really make Ollie magically bulk up, then the stylist has to do a better job. Ollie looks like he’s a tiny kid wearing adult clothes for most of the drama. I feel like he’s being swallowed!
Having said all that, I did have a great time watching “Deep In”. It was fun to chat with my friends about it, and I did try to time it well so I can binge when it’s almost done airing. That's my commitment to this drama! It might not be the best BLs while it’s airing (as it’s competing with The Prosecutor’s Proposal and Payback), but it’s still a very enjoyable and fun drama that I would recommend.
