Nekoyashiki-kun desires to BE RECOGNISED

I'm rewatching this, and I just realised that the reason I didn't like it the first time is what makes me like it now.
The plot doesn't revolve around the romance but around two persons who love and care for each other, who struggle with problems related to work, family and colleagues.
After all, the title already says it: "Nekoyashiki-kun desires to be recognised", not 'desires to find love', or 'desires his crush to love him back'.

During my first watch, I wanted the romance between the two mains, and I felt robbed. But now, rewatching it without the urge of the romance to happen, I'm enjoying it much more. And it's a good BL ??

Healing Revenge : Marry My Huband leaves you craving for more.

This drama is not just about returning to the past and getting revenge on those who wronged you, instead, it combines healing yourself, finding yourself, and romance alongside with revenge.

While watching this drama, you will not find yourself bored, instead watching with anticipation of what's going to happen because it gives you QUALITY with literally everything! ~ the dialogues, the makeover, the romance, revenge, and healing!

This drama uses a classic revenge plot, everything has been done before, yet it is done in a manner where that does not feel annoying or repetitive, you can expect to see common things like:
- FL & ML who goes back to the past ✅
- Fl gets revenge on the people who were close to her ✅
- truly shameless ex-boyfriend and best friend ✅
- Rich Ml who has loved the FL for a long time✅

- Acting: The actors did an amazing job of portraying the characters so that you can feel their emotions; the shameless boyfriend and ex-best friend will make your blood boil and want to scratch their eyes out... I want to go inside the screen and slap both of them. They made me so mad!! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ )
p.s: The best acting reward goes to: THE CUTEST ORANGE CAT! (so adorable!!)

- Plot: Although nothing about the plot is new and the themes are common, the drama does a good job of making its twists and turns to keep the watchers engaged. The revenge is so satisfying and the romance between the leads grows as well as their character development. FL slowly and steadily became strong with the male leads' support to get revenge and get back at them.

- Music: Honestly, I do not remember a single song they used as it blended into the background a little too well, and it was not overall impactful. However, there were these scenes where they used BTS songs for a big moment! And it was very unique and cute!!

At this point, if you haven't watched it, I going to come to kidnap you and make you watch! So give it a chance ^^

A MUST WATCH SERIES FOR THE NEW YEAR

Great cast and satisfying plot. As someone in her mid 20s and had to face challenges in adulthood, this series truly a reflective experience for me.

One of the best things about this series is the way all the actors able to remained consistent in portraying the character. You can still see choi yee jae in all of them.

The character build up from ep 1-4 to ep 5-8 is amazing too. In the first 1-4 you can see the protagonist making reckless impulsive decisions, just like how we first started in the early round of playing a new unfamiliar game. Then, in later ep, he started to get the hang of it and used up all of the advantages that he had. Very satisfying plot.

Seo in guk deserves award for his acting✨ and Kim mi kyung (yee jae’s mom) was also great, theres not a scene of her where I didnt cry. I love Goo youn jung”s acting too, it was short but she was able to deliver the right emotions, especially her facial expressions as death.

Although I have to say the ending kinda give me mix feelings since I have watched all of the things that had happened but then again it was such a nice closure and I am very much satisfied with it.

Could have been better !!!

This drama held significant potential as it delved into the human experiments during World War II and the colonization of Korea by Japan, shedding light on atrocities not often explored in KdramaLand. While the premise promised an amazing survival thriller, the execution fell short due to a lack of depth in the screenplay and character development.

For those familiar with typical survival Kdramas, the plot followed a somewhat predictable trajectory, and many scenes felt familiar. The main concern centered around the characters' decisions, particularly Yoon Chae Ok, whose actions often lacked common sense in serious situations. Numerous plot points didn't make sense, with characters engaging in lengthy discussions during crucial moments when urgency was paramount.

The primary issue lies with the leads, as the romance between them seemed forced and lacked organic development. The male lead's love-at-first-sight syndrome overshadowed any meaningful connection, and their relationship didn't progress convincingly. Aside from the male lead, other characters were relegated to mere side roles, despite having potential for more depth. The male lead's character development felt inconsistent, leaving room for speculation about the outcome in a potential second season. Park Seo Jun met my expectations with his performance, and this drama notably contributed to elevating his skills as an actor. Additionally, Han So Hee truly excelled in capturing emotional moments, standing out in those particular scenes.

Kim Su Hyun's portrayal of Maedo Yukiko stood out as a highlight, delivering a splendid and subtle performance. Her character was well-written, with meaningful actions and motives, contrasting with the underdeveloped leads. Other notable performances include Joong Won as Han Chul and various side actors. The older generation actors, including Kim Hae Sook, Park Ji Hwan, and Choi Young Joon, were the main reason the drama surpassed being just underwhelming. Their performances seamlessly carried the entire show. The production design deserves praise for capturing the historical vibe of Joseon accurately, from hospital sets to costumes. The CGI was particularly commendable, creating a realistic visual experience. This K-Drama stood out as the only one where I felt they provided a satisfying conclusion for the first season, setting the stage for an exciting start to the second season.

Ultimately, it's not a K-Drama that is a must-watch. However, if you find yourself with some free time or if your favorite actors are part of the cast, it might be worth checking out, especially considering its concise length of just 10 episodes. Looking forward to a potential second season, there is hope for improved character development, a tightly written screenplay, and more unpredictable plot points.

IF YOU'RE STILL HESITATING I HOPE YOU FIND THE COURAGE TO STAND UP AGAIN

You will end up crying rethinking the problems that you made so huge in your head are not that huge compared to what your loved ones will feel after you decide to give up because of those problems. This story gives a reality check to you about the consequences of selfish decisions which you thought wouldn't affect anyone.
This drama has the perfect runtime which gives the right amount of information required and the story progression does not end up looking rushed or slow. The acting was one of the main reasons behind such perfect execution. The ending made me realize that I need to appreciate my present, even though we may face some obstacles here and there still, is there anyone in this world who hasn't faced any hardship whatsoever?

Brilliant

I started this drama thinking that the reasons why he would kill him self is kind of reasonable with what his circumstances where but by the ending of the drama I felt like there is not even a single explanation to someone talking there own life.
the drama delivers the message so well with amazing acting and storyline it’s just overall one of the best stories I watched and that touched me at a deeper level. I feel like everyone needs to watch this drama at least once to just take in the message that is delivers.

Problematic but addictive. One to binge!

I binged this after airing, and I'm convinced that's the way to watch this.

For those who like a dominant man, I get you. But should you ever meet someone like Shangzhou irl, I would strongly recommend running in the other direction. This man has "unprocessed bagage" written across his forehead. That being said, Shunyu is no kitten either, although it seems otherwise in the beginning. The combination of these two is nothing short of FIREWORKS. The chemistry is banging. and that chemistry is what makes this 10 ep. series absolutely worthwhile.

If you are sensitive to non-consentual touching, pushy innuendo and powerplay, you should proceed with caution. Shangzhou uses all these techniques to get what he desires. At first, Shunyu is not having it, but as soon as his boss shows a sliver of heart, he starts falling for him. Like I said, don't expect too much reality-based interactions. While Shangzhou is convinced he is clearly showing Shunyu he likes him, the object of his desire is convinced his overbearing strict boss hates him. There is a rather large communication gap here. Only after a drunk interaction Shunyu starts to understand Shangzhou's feelings. But that just ushers in further misunderstandings and issues, since Shunyu is totally spooked and runs off.

Shangzhou sees no other way than to pressure Shunyu into staying, which complicates and cools things between them significantly. What turns this around you ask? Well, of course there should have been a heart to heart between them to clear the air, or lawyers should have been involved to break this insane contract. But no, Shangzhou's older brother steps in to make Shunyu understand how troubled a man his little brother is since he's been so mistreated since childhood. He just can't properly express his feelings!

This is all Shunyu needs to set aside all his misgivings and give Shangzhou another chance. He even stands up against Shangzhou's mothermonster, with Shangzhou himself not uttering a word...

While all that I've written before might give you the impression that I didn't like the show, that is not the case. I wanted to hate it because of the insane actions of Shangzhou, but I couldn't.

There is so much to hate, but also so much to love. As I said, the chemistry, but also the side characters are very well done. little details like the stress doll of the head secretary are hilarious, Shunyu is cute as a button, the pace throughout is perfect and the ending is so so sweet.

Go binge it. Now!

Is this even a bl???

This is a repeat on how trailers do be misleading!!!!
I am now going unto the seventh episode of this series and i am yet to see a spark or hint of romance between Q and sunshine
And is it me or am i the only one that recognizes that rain and sunshine can never get back together????
Like it is super obvious that everytime sunshine makes every possible person that kinda hinders their relationship disappear,) rain either forgets he exists, move on to another person, or never existed or become friends with benefits ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️
Sunshine cant be this dumb to recognise this simple fact !!!
I guarantee most ppl who watch this is confused as to where the romance is and me too
I would mostly call this a bromance if anything
Like is Q and sunshine are going to end up together???
Because i am not seeing anything that hinting that they are going to be together
Man it is like i am walking down a long narrow path and it is never ending
Like it is so clear sunshine is not the brightest bulb everyone knows this and let me be real
The time when he erased rains ex boyfriend now tell me if this maths is mathsing
So when rain broke up with sunshine he told him that he was in a vulnerable moment when he met sunshine and he needed someone at the time
Now note, that the peron who made him vulnerable was rains ex
So common sense, when he erased rains ex
What do u think will happen ???
He would not know sunshine obviously ??
Because rain would not go to mins bar where he would meet him and he would not vulnerable
At this point he is just randomly choosing ppl to erase
My advice to him (even Q said it himself) move on he is never going to go back to you get it through ur head!!! Just imagine he is doing all this stuff ( leaving potential dads without their child in ep 2, changing civilization ep 6 etc) just for one guy who does not like him anymore ????

There is only one you in the world

Part one was near perfection, and this was a masterpiece.

I'm still reeling from what I witnessed because what began as a revenge plot turned into one of the most poignant retrospect about life.

It's all too complicated to explain the experiences and emotions that Yi Jae is put through his 12 reincarnations, the pain of leaving his loved ones behind, losing someone he loves, living not knowing who he is, and living as if he isn't really living. It isn't until he finally experiences the memories and feelings of the 12 people in full does he truly start living.

Once again, the cast just, wow. I have no other words to describe how amazing this cast was. The guest stars, it is incredible how each of them portrayed their own characters, in addition to portraying their character as Yi Jae. Seo In Guk and Park Seo Dam get an extra round of applause, they played off each other so well, and boy can Seo In Guk act! Admittedly, these four episodes were much more emotional than the previous ones and he brought his A game.

This was a genuinely incredible drama, it is difficult to deal with this many genres and still provide a flawless production in just 8 episodes. However the interpretation, whatever it was that caught your attention, this is an enjoyable ride, through and through.

You've Got to Watch This Drama!!

Wow! Wow!

I cried a bucket of tears after finishing the last episode and I still feel the reminiscence of this drama lingering even after. I loved season 1 and how it was about death and the games it played with Yi Jae. It felt like a game then and then you come into this season and you realize it was never a game for death, it was never meant to be one as I thought, but rather it was about making Yi Jae realize the worst sin he had committed. Not taking his own life, but the pain he put his loved ones, the ones left behind even after he is gone.

I wasn't expecting the last life to be his Mom. I wondered if death would give his Mom's life as the last one but then thought it would be too cruel. And then when it happened I was just flabbergasted, because yes, it was definitely the most cruel and scariest punishment he could've gotten. To feel the pain his loved one's felt by his actions. And it brought him down to his feet as he should've been. He took his own life thinking it would put all the pain to an end without a thought about what will happen to his partner or his mother. He was selfish and even after dying countless times he still didn't understand what did he do so wrong or why what he did was a selfish act. It was a humbling moment to be put in his loved ones pain and live their life feeling those pain till their end. And while in other soul's he found death easily, death never sought him while he lived as his mother. It took its sweet time, making him live it over and over again.

This drama handles a very sensitive and triggering topic. One that can't be made fun of or taken lightly and I was scared that this would make it look too insignificant. So, I loved it when this drama showed the graveness of suicide and what happens when you choose an easy way out. What happens to the ones left behind. That it is the most sinful act you could do to them, not to yourself but to the loved ones.

Lastly, the rest of the supporting cast in this drama is A++++. It's insane how the casting director casted these characters so aptly and I was just impressed with the whole cast and how I loved each character. Though I knew death was around the corner for each and every single one of them, the story telling made me want to just let them live. Let them not have this unfair ending.

I would definitely recommend this drama to every drama lover out there. I don't think I would rewatch this since it's a painful topic and it was triggering here and there, I am glad I did watch it once.

Truly an amazing story with an amazing stellar cast!

Rating: 9.5/10

P.S. I wish the director would make a variety show with all the casts in this drama so the ache would go away a bit!

It deserves to be an Underrated Drama!

I finally finished this drama, and now I understand why it is underrated. What makes a Korean drama different is its direction, beauty, aesthetics, and acting. But TKOP lacks three out of four things.

1) Direction: I think the direction was poor in comparison to others. It's still good, but the Koreans raised the bar so high that mediocre direction comes under poor direction.

2) Beauty: There's not much beauty in the drama, nor is any rich lifestyle glorified. Also, I'm going to be controversial here, but the actors were pretty pale by beauty standards. The guys were ok-looking, average-height guys with no style, which is great; it looks realistic, but it's a k-drama; you have to add eye candy. It's a must.

3) Aesthetics: Korean vibrant colours were missing. Colour schemes were not black or white. But Grey and Muddy are constantly. Pretty dull as it should be considering MC is depressed and schizophrenic, but still, it's one of the subtle reasons people don't watch this drama or put it on hold.

4) Acting: Acting was great. They did a great job. It doesn't feel like acting was bad or acting was good. The guys were so immersed in their characters that it felt like they were them. The female cop was dull, not gonna lie. Even the kids were incredible.

Apart from that, this was a good drama, and I rate it an 8.5 overall because of it's story and concept.

Pit babe the most amazing one

Hello, so first of i should say, this is one hell of a drama. I can say for sure that i watched 95% of bl available in my country. And many of them are my favorite. But not a single kne of them made me addicted to it like this one.

Episode 1.
Well, it was good. Not something overly good. But it wasn't bad either. I watched the furst episode without much expectation. But the racing scene was the most striking part that attracted me. And the way Charlie and babe first met and their immediate skinship was some what confusing for many of the viewers.... But they were cute and i was also confused, but later realised the reason. And the most striking part was, this was the first Omegaverse i ever watched, i read nany noval and manhwa, but this was first drama. (Please recommend me if their is another one) . And most importantly, the way i thought Charlie was the bottom and babe wad the top.. Hihihi, the truth was the opposite and it was a slap on my face. (Well, i am sure many of you thought the same) . And it also made me watch it more. And the way they raced on street was also awesome.(They clearly put a big budget on the series. )
And what made me more curious was, tony the villain and the suspicious gaze Charlie had towards babe at the end of the episode. And the way Charlie was asked to report about babe. It was the important point that made me watch second episode. And i have to say, as a person who know about Omegaverse, watching this episode won't be that difficult and those who know the Omegaverse can understand why babe chose Charlie and why was he special. But if you are not familiar, then it would be confusing.
(Those who are confused about omega verse, a small tip:
1.in omegaverse apart from main gender male and female, there is also sub gender alpha, beta, omega.
Eg: male alpha, male beta, male omega and female alpha female beta, female omega.
2. Alpha, without considering the main gender they can make omega and beta pregnant.(not male beta)
Eg : male alpha + male/female omega - baby
3. Omega, can get pregnant by alpha or beta without considering the main gender
Eg: male/female omega + male alpha - baby &
Male/female omega + male beta - baby
4.beta are the ordinary human.
5.every alpha and omega have a sweet body smell called pheromones. Which is used to Sexually attract opposite gender
Eg: male alpha pheromone can attract male /female omega and vice versa. Beta are not affected by pheromones.
6.Alpha and omega usually hate same gender pheromones.
7. There is another gender called enigma, who is superior and can make all, beta, alpha, omega pregnant without considering main gender. )
So now you may understand why babe hate the smell, which alpha can't control during intercourse. And for some reason Charlie don't have typical alpha smell because he himself is an alpha.

Episode 2
It was good. The main story, i should say start in episode 2. It tells the relationship between tony and babe and make them more curious about the plot development. And the way Charlie meeting a unknown person and that person is jeff also piqued my interest. What is the relationship between Jeff and Charlie and what are they planning also made me curious. And of course i can't ignore Way, who had a crush on Babe and Babe, even after having the hint, still consider Way as his close frd was annoying yet interesting. And the way Babe treat Charlie as his special someone and making others realize that Charlie is special to Babe and the fact that way began to get wary of Charlie where all much more worthy. And it made me curious about the next episode. And the way tony is trying to get babe back and the reason behind it also made me curious.

Episode 3
What should i say, i think this one episode covered most of the story. Like how much babe hate his father. And most important part was babe opening upto Charlie about his childhood, how he was cheated by the person he trusted the most. And this chapter also introduce how special babe and his powers where. And it also made me realise that how much babe trusted and relays on Charlie even though he didn't directly mentioned it.
And, Way become more and more annoying in the chapter. Compared to his sincere and cute look he was sooo annoying and tried to create so much misunderstanding. And the way how Babe saw Charlie and Jeff together and he got annoyed and jealous yet heart broken without knowing was so emotional. (Maybe i am evil for smirking when Babe was jealous.) And their fight was heartbreaking. I didn't know who i should feel bad.
And the introduction of pete was also made me curious as who he was
This one chapter have the flashback, deep love, Misunderstanding, jealousy and so on. And of course i can't miss Alan and Jeff's Chemistry. They are so good. Even with so much age gap, the younger one Jeff giving advise to Alan and the cute yet mature way they interact is so cute.) This one episodes was wholesome.

Episode 4
In this episode, my view about way went to minus point. Haaaaaaaa... I hate him so much, why is he so annoying. I just want babe to stay away from this creep, who tried to find other alpha for babe when he declare that he have unrequited love for babe. For god sake, who want their crush sleep with so badly. So annoying.
In this episode, i was so heart broken when Babe failed in the race and got second place and it made me also realise how much effect charlie have on babe. It made me happy. And the way Alan and Jeff interact become more and more cute. They are shy yet not shy.. Haaaa.. I like them. And thia episode made me more curious about pete, a unknown powerful guy who tony is wary of.
And i was happy seeing that babe won again and how much he care about Charlie even when they are fighting. Oh, its because somebody attacked babe before second race and Charlie saves him but was injured. Even though they are fighting, babe was clearly worried about Charlie, he was angry at Charlie but was still worried. And most striking part was when, jeff confront babe and saw his future of car crash. (And i realised Jeff can see future.). That car crash made me more curious and worried about next episode. And i was praying that Charlie and Babe can reconcile soon and was also worried about the crash.

Episode 5.
If you ask me which one is my most favorite chapter till now, i will say episode 5. It was so good. Though, it started with heart braking car crash and Jeff was being accused by Way for causing the accident. I hated the beginning where babe had car crash. But later when i saw babe being angry at Charlie for jumping towards the crashed car without considering his own safety was so satisfying. Babe was clearly worried but acted like he wasn't. And the way he smiled when Charlie cleaned him was so cute. But the next scene where Jeff was accused made me worry. First when Alan and others didn't believe it, but when they begna to believe it, i felt bad and angry at alan. The way Jeff looked at Alan when he didn't believe him was so heart braking. But the satisfying part was when immediately Charlie arrived and showed the evidence that jeff wasn't the one who caused the accident. I was so happy when Jeff even after proving the innocent left the garage. (Well Uncle Alan deserves it.)
And most important part is when, Way tells Babe that Charlie and Jeff where brothers to stimulate babe but the result was opposite. And caused babe to be happy. And the face when Way realises that he made and mistake seeing babe smile was sooooo satisfying. Hijijiji
Later, when Charlie and Babe reconcile and become happy again. I was smiling so much even now thinking about that.
I was somewhat nervous when i get to know that babe lost his ability. I was so tense. But later i was happy that Charlie was going to be a racer. And will replace babe. Though, i was some what sad that babe can't race. Still seeing babe training Charlie was so satisfying. And in the end, Charlie compete with babe was an unexpected turn of event. And made me wait eagerly for next episode.

Episode 6
This episode was special and also not special. In this episode, even though Charlie wws defeated by Babe was still able to join X hunter team. (I am proud of him..) But the most special part was, when they watched the stars and discussed about children and was discussing about being papa and mama. I was screaming when they called each other papa and mama. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa.. And finally Charlie become Babe's boyfrd not his boy. Hihihihinj
.Other part of the Chapter were ignored by me lol. Because these two parts where imprinted in my head.
And when Babe was shy confessing to his frds that he and Charlie was officially dating was sooooo cute..
And i should say, i felt somewhat bad for Way when he cried so badly in the end. And the pete and Way couple was good. (Don't wanna give complement because, i don't have good opinion about way.)
Abd the part where Alan asked forgiveness from Jeff in the cutest way. They where so compatible. And Finally, jeff forgive Alan. (Even if it was me, i would have also forgive him lol). And the way Jeff once again seeing an car crash making me worried. Because, my gut feeling saying that, it highly likely Charlie, who is going to have an accident. I don't know why, but my gut feeling as an author and a reader screaming at me that it going to be Charlie. No memory loss please.

Episode 7.
This episode gave me a heart attack. Way disappointed me once again. But the most heart breaking part was when babe saw Charlie with Tony the so called adoptive father. And he realises that Charlie is also Tony's adopted son and all the thing Charlie told him till now was a lie. (No.... Babe, he truly loves you..) I was crying with babe. And once again creep Way, tried to manipulate babe. Bug i was happy seeing that babe give Charlie the time to explain. And how he heard Charlie's story.
That tony is sooo bad. (I wnat to use bad word, but i am stopping my self.) I hate him so much. How can he do sucha thing. Adopting children and giving them hope and in the end selling them. How can someone be so cheep. And the fact that he is trying to make Babe pregnant with some ao called Enigma gave me creep. How could he. And more over it was for him sell that child for100 million. What a #****d.
What made me more surprised that the ability of Charlie who can absorb other people's power and the way he confess to Babe that he is the reason why babe lost his ability. First i was also unhappy about. But then i thought, by doing this Charlie is protecting babe by putting himself in danger. Charlie is cool. And the moment when Charlie said, ' i can give your power back, whe i die all the power will go back to its owner. ' once again confirmed muly suspicion that Charlie was the one who is going to be in an accident. I hope that, it won't be an bad ending. And the way that Babe forgive him even after hearing this made me realize how stronger their bond and relationship is becoming.

Waiting for the next chapter.......
