I love this drama

I love this drama. I think life is like this- poignant, sweet and sometimes sad and tragic. Park Seo-Jun and Won Ji-An were great. The story was bittersweet but also lovely. The cinematography was beautiful. I don't have 300 words for this review, so I will add a review that I liked:
Surely Tomorrow (Gyeongdoreul Gidarimyeo) feels like a gentle embrace for the soul. It's a series that doesn't need to be loud to leave a deep emotional impact, offering comfort exactly when it's needed most.
Won Ji-an delivers a quietly powerful performance, filled with emotional honesty that truly resonates. Park Seo-joon once again shines with warmth, depth, and a calm presence that feels completely genuine. Their chemistry is subtle, sincere, and beautiful-nothing feels forced, everything feels real.
The visuals are calm and poetic, and the story unfolds at an unhurried pace, allowing space to breathe. It's a story about closeness, healing, hope, and the belief that there is always still a tomorrow.
A series you don't just watch-you feel. Perfect for slowing down and letting your heart rest.

Enjoyed it, but was just a little disappointed.

The story was good, as was the script, cinematography, costumes and assemble. However, I really had a problem with Bai Lu's performance. Not her acting, it's always good. But she was so one dimensional and seemingly dull. Emotionless. Even for the scenes where emotion was necessary, it felt like she was going through the motions. Also, there was absolutely no chemistry between her and Wang Xing Yue. I'm not sure if this was the directing or just the pairing. I just felt nothing until the last minute and a half of the series. It just wasn't there for me. He seemed to be more of her errand boy, and perhaps I'm used to both these actors showing more substance, but it wasn't there for me.

As a whole the story, and the cases were great and interesting. The rest of the cast was stellar. Especially Zhao Yi Qin, Hou Chang Rong and Zhao Zi Qi. In addition, where did the crown prince come from? Not enough time was spent developing that storyline.

This was an entertaining and enjoyable series, but certainly not the best I've seen. I was a bit disappointed. Especially because I was really looking forward to it.

Engaging & heartfelt but Rugby IS violent !!!!!

I'm really not fond of Im Se Mi , but she does a credible job here playing her typical "tom-boy" character that's annoyingly disdainful, loudmouthed & physically abusive.

Yoon Kye Sang is infectiously upbeat as the "Peter Pan" man who still acts childish

The Rugby team is endearing

the Rugby itself is horrifically violent -it's more like gladiators going out to fight a fight they know may kill them

SO Rugby hating aside, this was alot more engaging than I ever dreamed it would or could be.

A) despite seeing a former star player living with disability ( due to a Rugby injury) And knowing that high school players could be damaged for life-Yoon Kye Sang 's character vigorously recruits high school boys to play..& fails to live up to his own ethics & goals . When they are injured he let's THEM decide to still play despite it being against doctor's opinion. Worse, he has been very vocal about changing Rugby to be one that protects the players & teaches them to be better than the generation that came before them when it comes to self care. So, his noble ideals are really a sham. As an adult experienced Rugby player & coach, he should have acted as such when it came to decisions about injuries. That he couldn't notice one of his players constantly in pain- when he had only 7 players to keep track of- & then not insisting in the proper treatment (instead of letting a minor make the decision) was unconscionable as well as failing to uphold his own stated intentions for changing the game for the better.

B) at the end they totally gloss over the fact that Yoon Kye Sang 's character, despite surgery, has a degenerative disease that at best would allow him to engage in low intensity exercise-so letting him continue to coach is pretty un-credible. [They should have brought in the crippled ex star player to co-coach with him-that would have been believable]

C) The question of where Yoon Kye Sang was for the 3 years after his doping scandal is never answered

Finally got myself to watch it... sort of wish I never did :/

Here's the thing with my drama priorities-- idk if it's sad all throughout, as long as the outcome is happy. That is why my Scarlet Heart Ryeo (Korean) will forever be my Roman Empire.
This has a happy ending, okay. BUT the process of it, is just too much heartbreak. The leads get together, but at what cost? Literally every single character dies lmao I have never watched a drama-- except SHR as mentioned before, that kills every supporting character off.
Sure, it's like 99% self sacrifices. But still, what's the point of the couple getting their happily ever after if their friends and mentors and everyone they love is gone. Is it really a happy ending? No. Hence my saltiness about this drama.
Sure, the leads are beautiful. The story is typical xianxia.
But... not my cup of tea I guess.
Even killing off the divine gods, XingYue and JingYuan, was such a waste of a parallel happy ending. smh.
My favorite part of this drama has to be the ost. It was beautiful, and gave me Ashes of Love vibes.
But because it just ticked off the boxes of my least favorite drama qualities, the highest I can give this is an 8/10.
The ending was beautiful in itself though, and I am not hating on the writing in any way. Death can be beautiful too, and it was portrayed with meaning for each one, it's just my weak heart can't accept all the sadness🥲

'POSITIVELY YOURS' makes me feel 'POSITIVELY DEVISED.'

Honestly, the story's theme isn't too bad. A very light storyline that is also quite relatable today. From beginning to end, the series features a realistic plot with traumatic pasts for the main characters, expertly mixed with an abundance of comedic elements. However, the story fell short of expectations, and I was unable to fix the flaw that makes 'POSITIVELY YOURS' watchable casually.

Everybody, including the MAIN LEADS, acts well in accordance with their roles. However, they fail to leave a lasting impression on us.

I wish I could include some delightful and appreciative words in my review of 'POSITIVELY YOURS', but I am afraid I cannot.

An eye opener

Wow. I genuinely didn’t expect a show to so casually glorify the complete erosion of morals. A handsome face and a tragic backstory don’t magically make it okay to normalize selling intimacy for money. It’s still wrong — no matter how aesthetic the cinematography or how intense the chemistry.

What disappointed me most was that there was no real character growth. Even in the final episode, the ML passionately kisses the same girl who literally paid him to be her sex partner. No redemption arc. No moral awakening. Just… romanticized dysfunction.

And honestly, that part hit deeper. I’ve always defended Thailand and its people whenever someone tried to stereotype them as having “no morals.” I believe culture is bigger than any one narrative. But watching this? It made me pause. Not because a drama defines a country — it doesn’t — but because media shapes perception. And this one leaned hard into glamorizing something that should’ve been challenged.

Consider me disappointed. Not shocked. Just disappointed — and a little more aware. Next time I'll hold my tongue before defending mindlessly

More crime than revenge. Unconventional and visually stunning.

I thoroughly enjoyed the watch and didn’t skip a single scene, as I wasn't bored at all. I loved that the drama is unique in many ways. Although it belongs to the revenge subgenre, for most of the episodes, it functions simply as a crime procedural.
All the criminal cases were interesting, and the characters were well-written and brilliantly acted. Visually, it’s a total feast for the eyes, and the music is excellent as well.
The drama also fits into the female-led story category. She, her career, and her revenge take center stage, while he stays in the background as her helper. In this regard, Unveil:Jadewind reminds me of The Double and Princess Royal.
I really liked Bai Lu in the lead role. I generally like her as an actress, though I often find myself seeing her rather than the character she’s playing. In this drama, however, the role suited her perfectly: rational, professional, cold, no-nonsense, and never backing down from a risk. She plays a martial arts master paired with a "frail scholar" played by Wang Xingyue. I enjoyed WXY’s performance too—he’s one of my favorite actors and I've liked him in many different roles. He was very convincing here as well.
The combination of a crime story with a female-centric narrative, along with the dynamic of a warrior heroine and an intellectual hero, is definitely unconventional, and I’ll certainly remember it. The supporting cast also did a fantastic job.

And yet, I’m left feeling a bit unsatisfied—mostly due to a lack of emotion and chemistry. I’m not sure how it happened, but these actors, who are usually great at delivering chemistry, barely sparked here. There were actually more sparks between them in Story_of_Kunning_Palace, where WXY played a supporting role. For this reason, I’m lowering my rating to 9/10.

A fun watch with a deeper insight into kpop's toxic fan culture

Worth the watch. It was enjoyable. A bit cringe and annoying sometimes but otherwise, it was a good binge.

I liked how the drama dives deep into kpop idols' life behind the scenes and the trauma they experience. The drama depicts toxic fan culture very well and how fast fans switch up on their favs.

As a kpop stan myself, the one thing I would nitpick about this drama is how the MC was lowkey in a parasocial relationship with the ML lol. Its not bad or anything like I get it she was literally his first fan and all but the one turn off was when she was mad/sad when she found out about him having an ex. That scene was crazy. Also the fact that she got over Wooseong's death so fast... like um that's ur ult group?! Anyways, this is a drama so I mean take it at face value lol.

But anyways, the drama was very enjoyable to watch. The romance scenes were kinda cringe and stretched out too much but its fine... not the worst lol.

Oh yea forgot to mention this but the MCs were lowkey dumb and annoying LOL. Considering the fact that he's a literal grown man and she's supposed to be a bigshot lawyer lol.... erm.... And the police team pmo too lol I'm no detective but I feel like I would be able to spot a CCTV within the first two eps... took them like 11 eps to find it.

I just felt like there was so much potential for this to be a 9 or 10. But yea... a 7 at most.

solid youth drama

This drama starts out super strong, their high school years are some peak cdrama material if you are into youth dramas. The story starts slowing down around episode 20 and I found myself not as motivated to watch as I was in earlier episodes which ended up taking me quite a while to finish this one but it’s still very enjoyable. The chemistry between the main leads is a highlight and I love how there was no third act breakup that a lot of dramas tend to have. I like how the main lead was the greenest flag and they started out as best friends and slowly fell in love over the years. I think this show could have been perfectly fine with only 24 episodes rather than 30, I was not too invested in the side romances. overall I rate it an 8/10.

When a masterpiece captivates its audience, a gem is created!

After watching such an incredible historical period drama, I'd like to share my thoughts on 'UNVEIL: JADEWIND'.

The script was extremely compelling. I never get a chance to click the 'fast forward' button throughout the series. Each episode features a suspenseful tune mixed with some emotional plots. Though detective-historical CDramas have become popular in recent years, this story stood out the most to me. Throughout the series, each case established a strong morality while also serving some emotions, making 'UNVEIL: JADEWIND' a masterpiece.

After watching the entire series, I believe the casting is perfect. Bai Lu (The FL) nails every character she plays, including 'Li Pei Yi' in 'UNVEIL: JADEWIND.' Personally, for the first time, I saw her as an investigating officer, and her bold yet cold demeanor captivated me. Now, as for our ML (Wang Xing Yue), after watching his various historical dramas with exceptional swordplay and martial arts, this is the first time I've really enjoyed his completely new avatar. His character is solely based on his intelligence and astronomical knowledge. Both of the leads delivered excellent performances. They did their best in every shot. Within such a mysterious and thrilling storyline, I particularly enjoyed the moments when they became touchy with each other. Finally, all of the supporting characters performed well. Zhao Qing and Bai Lu's chemistry was also quite supportive.

"UNVEIL: JADEWIND," in my opinion, won my heart. The series is a masterpiece because of its compelling plot and superb cast. I am incredibly grateful to the production team for providing us with such a treasure!

Missed Potential

I’m a few years late watching this one, but I finally gave it a shot—and honestly, it just didn’t land for me.
The acting was decent, nothing terrible, but the storyline was confusing and hard to follow at times. The pacing felt off, and a lot of plot developments didn’t feel earned. Even for a c-drama, the level of luck the female lead had was unrealistic. It reached a point where it was hard to stay invested because everything seemed to conveniently work out for her.
The maid/assistant character was especially frustrating. From the way she was written to her voice and overall personality, everything about her grated on my nerves. She didn’t add much depth and felt more irritating than supportive.
What really didn’t make sense was the character shift. She originally tried to kill her uncle, the emperor, in front of everyone—but suddenly in her new life she’s calm, strategic, and patient? That drastic transformation needed better development. If she had started that way, maybe the outcome would have been more believable.
I also couldn’t understand why so many people were obsessively fixated on hating her. The whole Ning family marriage arrangement storyline felt forced. His family was rude and unreasonable, yet somehow she was the one blamed. It just didn’t add up.
And can we talk about how long it takes c-dramas to let two characters admit they like each other? The relationship dragged on way longer than necessary.
Visually, it was average. The sets were fine, but nothing stood out. Even the wardrobe lacked that wow factor you expect from historical dramas.
Overall, it just felt underwhelming.

"through generations, jianghu is always there."

This drama is getting a lot of hate that it does not deserve. After 37 episodes

Firstly characters, Cai Zhao actually just might be one of my favorite characters ever. Free-spirited, smart, and lovable girl who doesn't have a care in the world. I have begged the gods for a type of FL like this and I finally got one. Next, lets just talk about the cast, This is my first time watching Bao Shang'en and she did so so well as Cai Zhao like I said. I feel like she was perfectly casted for this role. I also LOVE zhou yiran in MQY's role he looks SO good here. This is my first time watching Bao Shang'en and she did so so well. I kept seeing people say how they had no chemistry, but I honestly disagree especially after watching BTS, they are so cute together but I do see how this is a CP some ppl wouldn't invest in.

Okay, the music for this drama is so good, especially “清风醉(the episode ending music)” it makes me wanna go outside and enjoy life. The cutscenes in the middle with Cai Pingshu and her friends fits this so well and idk listening to this song just makes me happy. Now story, so personally the story is so so good, but I have to agree with some of the comments that the script writers kind of butchered parts of it, however its nothing thats too bad. I think it definitely could have been written a little better. Also the editing, it got a little better by the end but genuinely this drama needs new editors, I do agree with this but it wasn't bad to the point where I couldn't understand what was happening.

Other than that I 100% recommend this drama, one of my fav watches of 2026 so far!

Sweet and Heartwarming

A friend recommended that I watch this first since it was already done. I saw that it was the actor Chen Xing Xu from Goodbye My Princess. I’ve watched his other dramas before and this seemed a little different, so I was like okay I’ll give it a try. Not gonna lie, it was hard to get through it in the beginning because they were doing murder mystery so it was sort of slow for me. Things started getting interesting when the ML secretly started renting the FL’s apartment. He was doing this for some inspiration for a competition. The ML plays a character in the murder mystery game. That’s where they first met. She becomes enamored with him that she keeps going back to play just to see him. Little did she know that he’s the one renting her place and he’s the CEO of the company Dynamism. It was one of the architecture companies she admired since she wanted to be an architect herself. She ended up getting hired in his company. It’s really funny how she ended up going back to her apartment and that’s where the roommate trope comes in. The leads were pretty cute. I love their chemistry so much. Hot and sizzling. I don’t know how many times they have kissed here. No dead fish kisses. I repeat. NO DEAD FISH KISSES. Lu Yuxiao sure knows how to play her roles. She’s so cute. I love her in My Journey to You and Love in the Clouds. She always has amazing chemistry with every male lead she works with. I love how it ended, too. No weddings. No kids. Just the two of them hugging each other up on the building rooftop. One of the best dramas ever. Sweet and heartwarming.
