Ever wandered what a middle class “Batman” with shades of “Superman” & a pinch of “Spiderman” would be like? Well then this is the show for you.

Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young delivers, with great chemistry and a believable romance arc.
The action was not overbearing.

The quasi superhero bent serves as a backdrop for a sweet and endearing romance.

Superman as a Korean Drama - Definitely Worth Watching!

A man who is basically a hidden superhero (albeit they refer to him so much less as an 'errand boy') in the community who comes to help people in their darkest moments. He holds no prejudice and is happy to work for those who are willing to pay for his unique services. He is a man of a million faces and can blend in and out of a crowd effortlessly.

The description of the show is somewhat misleading. I would honestly say that where there are multiple leads -- that Healer and Chae Young Shin are the main leaders in this, but there are some amazing side stories that make others into leads as well. So many different stories, interwoven -- it was fantastic to watch and wonderful to experience. I was more than a little lost at the beginning because it kind of throws you into the middle of a story without explaining what the heck is going on -- but I loved it nonetheless. If you find yourself lost during the first episode -- PLEASE -- push to the 2nd, 3rd, and yes, even 4th episode -- you will find yourself so involved, you won't be able to let go.

The whole "The Boat That Rocked" (2009) concept, where people had to keep moving in order to record the news without being apprehended for speaking a) the truth, and b) their minds -- was a wonderful concept. I am a fan of how Korean dramas tend to have the fate concept written in. As in, something happened when they were children, or they knew each other as children, and later on in life found one another. This is not just action, comedy, thriller, but also romance. It's well-written, and there is great chemistry between the characters.

I am a huge fan of Ahjumma's (Kim Mi-Kyung) character, and have watched her in countless shows. Such as 'Crash Course for Romance', 'Heirs', and 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay'. Ji Chang-Wook in 'Melting Me Softly', 'Backstreet Rookie', 'Suspicious Partner' and much more. I've also seen Yoo Ji-tae in 'The House That Jack Built', and 'Old Boy' (2003). They are all wonderfully beautiful and attractive people, no matter what role they are playing. There are many great actors and actresses in this series, and I would suggest it to anyone even if you're just starting out on your kdrama journey.

My favorite K drama

I’m just re-watching Healer for the second time. It’s my favorite K drama or at least in the top three. The story is terrific, would love to see more of the work by this screenwriter. The acting is wonderful and the music is better than your average story.
Each one of the 20 episodes is interesting and moves. The story and the love relationship along exceptionally well. Someone commented that you shouldn’t be put off by the fact that it’s 10 years old. That makes me want to laugh since I’m over 60 and 10 years is relatively recent to me. I only discovered these K dramas about six months ago and I’ve already devoured at least 40 different series.
once again, I have to say that Healer is truly a stand out among these dramas.

It is the best drama I've ever seen. I watched it already 5 times and for sure it's not the end. Everytime I was touched and happy. I have no words to describe how much I love this drama. Everything was perfect starting with actors through the storyline and music. For me it is a masterpiece. If someone didn't watch it then should do it!
___Storyline is a kind of uniqal destiny and real life. Plots are connected very carefully and thoughtfully. It is not like a tradidional Korean dramas that I don't like these that much.
___ Acting for me is just perfect. Ji Chang Wook's and Park Min Young's charisma and experience is the best detal in this drama. I watched almost every drama with them. And everytime I enjoyed it.
___ I would like to watch similar drama in future but still I think it won't be better than Healer. I think nothing can beat Healer.

So good. It's been awhile since I became so obsessed with something, which is interesting because I had watched the first episode and found it great, but went to watch other shows and only came back to see after finishing one or two. But at the instant I came back, I became fully immersed into the story, not wanting to stop watching even if I had already been watching for 5 hours straight. The blend of genres is made in a unique way, because usually shows like this tend to become messy when balancing the different elements, while Healer was the perfect combination of every thing it proposes. The action was top notch, the chemistry between not only the couple itself, but every actor with each other was out of this world, everyone seems to take the best out of each other in this wild journey. I also loved the comedy elements, because they were never forced and it never felt out of place. A hell of a good drama, that I can't stop praising enough for everything.

First I've gotta say that this felt very similar to City Hunter, probably because of Park Min Young, but I thought she did a better job in this show, I almost didn't recognize her. Second, it was super fun to see Kim Mi Kyung as a computer hacker; she is such a versatile actress and I'm always surprised by her roles, you would think she does this just for a new challenge. Thirdly, I was drawn to this show because of Ji Chang Wook, mostly because of his performance in Empress Ki, and I wanted MORE! This show felt very raw (in a good way) in some part, to the point where you get chills. It had a good balance of action, ROMANCE, and comedy, and the mystery also helped to drive the show, so I give it props on the story.

One of the best dramas

This is far and away one the best k-dramas ever! It has everything a successful drama should have, including an interesting storyline, plenty of action, suspense, romance, secrets to unravel, a great OST and a wonderful cast of characters. "Eternal Love" is one of the best songs ever in a drama. As the story unfolds it takes you through the history of a group of friends and how love, jealousy, betrayal and greed destroys them and later effects those who are left behind. The two male leads are major hotties and pure pleasure to watch. It is sure to make your top ten list! Don't miss it!

MASTERPIECE!

So this was my 3rd kdrama and I wasn't that much fond of kdramas. But after watching some small clips of healer I thought to give it a shot. And as soon as I started to watch it i became addiched to it. 1st episode may seem to be confusing but as soon as you start watching the following episodes, you'll get to know everything. I became a huge fan of JCW and PMY after this. The OST is the besttt! There's no childish love story going on, infact the love shown here is too positive and happening. The plot is too gripping. It's worth the watch❤️

Where can I start.... watching healer was a rollercoaster of emotions. After finishing the show rather than feeling satisfied, I felt myself wanting more, asking more questions and wondering what happened that wasn't shown. Skip to the very end for my thoughts on the things that I wasn't pleased with.

Healer is a very interesting watch with a really unique concept. At first strange, but then the story grows on as the episodes pass by. I practically only watched the first half of the show (first 10 episodes) as sort of like a formality. Although I knew the story and understood the intricacies of the situation, I just couldn't bring myself to care. I didn't care for any of the characters or the relationships that were lost or those that were forming, watching the show was just a way to pass time. In the second half though, circumstances change and there are important things at stake, that's what really brings the story to life. Even then, I felt as though the only thing I cared about was the relationship between the two leads, but as time goes on, the rest of the story becomes just as important. The actors were really charismatic and took on the roles really well, but of course, honorary shout out to Ji Chang-wook.

The OST was nice too but nothing special, not very memorable. In conclusion, I would recommend Healer as: a good watch but you really need patience to get to the good part.

SPOILERS (only for those who have watched it)
As I said before, the show ended in a good way but I also felt a bit unsettled, here's why;
- Why weren't we ever shown things from the perspective of Kim Moon-sik? (Kim Mun-ho's hyung) You could clearly tell that he wasn't necessarily a bad person and there were reasons for the things he did. E.g; what led him to join forces with Boss? Why was he so persistnet on having Myung-hee all to himself? Also, we never saw what happened to him at the end, just a half-arsed scene where he was drunk. Regardless of whether he was a good person or not, he needed to be punished for his wrongdoings but that was never shown or even alluded to in the end?????
- This is also related to the previous point; What is Mun-ho's and Moon-sik's backstory? How did two brothers end up being completely opposite people, did they face abuse as children? Who are their parents?
- What led Ajumma to that stage in her life? They started to show a backstory but then just ignored it.
- Why was it so important for Healer's mom to abandon him as a child? Who threatened her and why?

I know I'm somewhat reaching but these are just the little things that bothered me, not to the point that it stopped me from enjoying the show though. I just don't like it when writers aren't able to fully portray the situation their characters are in. Anyways Healer is a really clever story and an enjoyable drama.

I loved everything about this drama and Ji Chan wook is just love
Plot ,actors ,everything on point
It's worth the hype

But I felt the ending was rushed
There were things I didn't understand
Such as if Myong hee knew she was her daughter and If she did then why no confrontation?

What happened to elder?

What happened to moon shik?

If detective and hacker ended up together?

What happened to hacker madam work?( Her office was destroyed)

Why was little Ji an in an house when she was caught and who beat her and why didn't kill her?

Why exactly healer revealed his face and identity in an interview form in the last episode?

Is he is still working at someday news if not why he was clicking pictures of Ji an while reporting?

If he is still a reporter there then did they explain to their colleagues his real identity!!

It wasn't clear if healers father commit suicide because he was convicted wrongly or was killed for having prove against them?

I guess no matter how much messy the drama is, the last episode must always be summed up.. every main character has to has a proper ending to its part...but here it wasn't even done to healer, the main lead!!

The ending was something really rash and choppy and I have no idea why...there were questions unanswered but otherwise the series is worth the hype and its amazing

I specifically loved moon ho character...handsome rational cunning and passionate lover

Give it a watch..if you don't mind the last episode

The plot was simply amazing, the casting simply amazing I liked pretty much everything about it but the main female character.
I mean, it still worth watching, no regrets at all, the plot was simply smart and amazing.
It had little bit of everything I like in dramas. Action, smart plot, surprises, romance. And I won't be hypocrite, the main actor is
simply stunning. Gosh, sometimes I had to re watch  some scenes because I was lost admiring his beauty haha I'm so futile with guys I admit.
I didn't give it a 10 because of the female main character. I won't lie, she was kind of useless.
I have a problem with too weak female characters like her. She was simply there to cry and be a victim of the situations.
I didn't like her at all. The acting of the actress was pretty good, the problem is the character itself. Is too weak crying good for nothing, always
holding healer back and never helping with anything.
I don't like characters like this. But, still not liking I have loved watch this drama.
Aside that only thing I didn't like it was pretty good.
And I just can't ignore how the character healer was almost perfect in everything. I mean, he's good acting, the character itself and how
handsome that guy are. I would re watch this just in order the see his pretty talented face all over again. hahah

Healing

"Healer" is an electrifying drama that has me utterly captivated, earning a resounding 9.5 stars out of 10 on my personal scale. I've found myself indulging in its exhilarating narrative multiple times, each rewatch revealing new layers of intrigue and emotion. From heart-racing action sequences to heartwarming connections, the show weaves a magnetic tale that keeps me hooked from start to finish.

Ji Chang-wook's portrayal of the enigmatic Healer is an absolute tour de force, seamlessly oscillating between the stoic and vulnerable sides of his character. His undeniable chemistry with Park Min-young, who plays the fiercely independent Chae Young-shin, adds an extra layer of charm to the show. Together, they create a dynamic duo that sparks with energy.

The writing is a masterpiece, intricately crafting a web of mystery and suspense, while also delving into the complexities of human emotions. With its perfect blend of heart-pounding action, heartwarming moments, and heart-wrenching dilemmas, "Healer" succeeds in transporting me into its world.

The meticulously designed sets and attention to detail immerse me into the streets of Seoul, making every scene feel vibrant and authentic. The seamless transitions between the past and present add an element of intrigue, keeping me on the edge of my seat.

"Healer" isn't just a drama; it's an experience. It's a symphony of emotions that resonates deeply with my soul. With its stellar cast, gripping plot, and flawless execution, "Healer" shines as a shining gem in the realm of Korean dramas. If you haven't embarked on this thrilling journey yet, be prepared to be swept away into a world of secrets, love, and unbreakable bonds."
