Both Korean drama male lead play different role. Kill me Heal me is more like multiple personality. Death Game is is reincarnation to different body

Minus the funny scenes which made kill me heal me lighter and dark aura seems bearable. but both dramas focus on the traumas the leads had when they were kids and they are entangled in that past experience.

In both dramas :
both Female leads in this dramas fall in love with a D.I.D..
their struggle and how the D.I.D/ leading actor overcome his sickness..

> A main character deals with DID (Disassociative Identity Disorder) in both shows as a result of childhood trauma; the FL in DIMH & the ML in KMHM.
> The fathers of both MLs end up doing questionable things for their sons.
> Both FLs have adoptive siblings that care for them deeply; a sister for the FL of DIMH and a brother for the FL in KMHM.
> Both MLs have a strain relationship with their families and, as a result, end up finding emotional shelter with the FL.
> Both MLs are super nice.
> FLs are both smart and active.

The summary states “People change but can the heart adapt?” that’s exactly what Kill Me, Heal Me plot is about.

BOTH:
- FL the will adapt to ML sudden changes due to his mental illness
- Male leads in both have a mental disease except KMHL is more psychological and Uncontrollably Fond is more of a incurable disease, can’t be managed.
- Both ML’s lose their memory eventually and don’t know who they are and who those around them really are
- Rich male lead except in KMHL the male lead was less of a jerk

Both have the main plot revolve around a psychologist trying to heal the main lead from their mental illness while they end up falling in love.
But in Kill me, Heal me the female is the psychologist.

There's more similarities between these two besides the very similar poster (lol)...
Both mystery romances, with a chaebol/luxurious life backdrop. The male lead in KMHM must hide his multiple identity disorder from the rich, while the female lead in Mask must hide her true identy as a poor woman from the rich.
Similiar melodrama vibes

Psychology and mystery themed fiction. Both play on the mystery relationship between the leads.

Green Tea is more conversational/dialogue-based, less happens; KMHM has a bigger journey/more happens...but regardless both give their take on psychology.
Green Tea is a chinese film, while Kill Me Heal Me is a korean drama.

Mystery and multiple people involved. In Kill Me Heal Me, these people are the various personalities of the male lead who has mutiple personality disorder; in Mysterious Summer the mysteries surround different people as it is an anthology series with different leads each ep.

KMHM is a korean drama, while MS a chinese drama. Recommeded chinese drama for people who don't even normally like chinese dramas (I'm one of those people)!

Recommended for fans of original mysteries / not just an ordinary detective story!

I felt some Kill Me, Heal Me vibes while watching Link. They both have severe childhood trauma centered mysteries, a touch of fantasy, and emotional healing and closure from past trauma. Link, although a great drama, was unfortunately unable to capture the amazing charm and chemistry that Kill Me, Heal Me radiates.

A traumatic childhood experience leaves Cha Do Hyeon, suffering from memory loss and dissociation. The latter has resulted in the creation of seven distinct personalities. Wanting to regain control over his life, he asks Oh Ri Jin, a first-year psychiatric resident, to help him, but she eventually falls in love with one of his personalities. Ri Jin’s twin brother, Oh Ri On, a famous mystery novelist, investigates Do Hyeon and his family.

Psychology and mystery. Both involve the complex relationship between a psychiatrist and their client. There is a twist at the end of both.

KMHM is a korean drama, while TGH is a chinese film.

Warning: not much/no romance in The Great Hypnotist. Watch it for the psychology and mystery.

Multiple people involved in a relationship with one person...:

In KMHN 7 personalities/characters due to multiple personality disorder, played by one actor; meanwhile in TBI 21 actors playing one and the same character!

Oh, and both have one actor in common: Park Seo Joon.
In KMHM he plays the 2nd lead character, in TBI he is one of the 21 actor/actresses who plays the male lead character.

A brother - sister relationship that has some other meanings. The two story of brother - sister developing feelings for each other

in both of these dramas, the barrier that prevents the OTP from being together is the male lead's psychological disorder. Both dramas handle his disorder with such a lovely ways. Both dramas have many comedic and emotional moments.
