Honestly this drama was so bland, the only saving graces for this drama were the second lead couple. Their chemistry was so realistic, natural, and very tongue and cheek while the main couple’s chemistry was so bland, lifeless and dull.

I was slightly invested in the main FL’s storyline as she was abused by her family and especially her mother whom hated her. I was I’m waiting for the main FL to become successful and show her worth to the family but it never came. The resolution to her dealing with her issues revolving her family were a quick fix with no explanation, and her working to prove her family was nonexistent. I was so disappointed.

I gave this drama 3 stars only because of the 2nd lead. Its worth to skip over the ML’s parts and watch theirs. I am sad that they weren’t the mains because they could have made an excellent show together and I would be willing to watch them just banter back and forth.

Watch for Park Hyung Shik

Premise: Jang Yoon-Ha is the youngest daughter of a chaebol (family owned conglomeration). Even though her family is extremely wealthy, she holds a part-time job at a food market. She hides her background as an heiress and attempts to find a man that loves her for herself. (taken from Dramacool website).

I watched this b/c of Park Hyung Shik (I recently finished watching Hwarang and needed to see plenty more of his magnificent face). He plays the second male lead and his part is much more compelling than our main leads.

This was my first rich girl/poor boy story and for the most part I enjoyed it but it's nothing to write home about plus Uee (Yoon Ha) and Seong Joon (Choi) were no match for our second leads Park Hyung Shik (Chang Soo) and Im Ji Yeon (Ji Yi). Yoon Ha's family was terrible and I genuinely felt bad for the girl. She has one of the worse mother's I have ever seen in a drama. Choi's face was so smug I couldn't get past that or his arrogance even though everything he told Yoon Ha was quite accurate.

Chang Soo and Ji Yi were so adorable and I about died when Chang Soo's heart was broken b/c of all this not being able to be with a person you love b/c they are considered beneath your station!! Lucky us we get a happy ending and I loved that and cheesy as it was.

Overall great soundtrack but I won't watch again. Except maybe to see Park's face!!

Antihero ML, main couple's realistic romance and second couple more like ML/FL with better chemistry

ML and FL are more like SML and SFL (especially anti hero-ish ML) and kind hearted SML and positive lovely but poor SFL are more like ML and FL. Plus all 4 main leads have almost equal screen time (though FL maybe has more and except of 4 lead's screen time there are lots of scenes/story line of FL's family). Even romance of second couple looks more like main romance, on the other hand main couples relationship is somehow cold and uncertain. I would say in this drama 4 leads are equally mains.

As everyone mentions, second couple as characters and as romance are better, though I still have interest in main couple, because 1. I like ML actor 2. I'm interested in ML as character, we still don't know what kind of person he is, what's his goal and what he really feels about his close people. Though I can't see chemistry in main couple and will be bored/skip after story will be clear.

one of best thing in this drama - it doesn't have primitive cliche dialogues, silly misunderstandings and stupid characters who can't see/think/understand obvious things and doesn't have 0 logic. This characters think and talk like normal people, sometimes dialogues are even quite complex and about subjects that really makes you think about it.

Overall it's not WOW drama but still interesting, it quite realistically shows human characteristic trough main leads, I like that it hasn't traditional narrative that poor ML is better person than rich playboy-ish SML (for the middle of the drama it's more opposite), also showing that poor people want to be rich/powerful is natural, also these wish can have different shades (ML and SFL for example). At the end all this details make characters real humans not fairytale-ish perfect heroes and I like it. In this drama main 4 characters are all different and quite 3D, though I less like FL and her reasons/characteristics could be better written.

Edit: I don't agree that main couple is bad/uninteresting, opposite - they are very interesting because story is realistic, ML even kind of "bad" is realistic, which is rare... Not every couple who dates has big chemistry and big love from the beginning but in dramas we only see this "true big love stories" especially with main leads, so I liked that in this case it was realistic story/romance. On the other hand we have second couple with cute chemistry and all the vanilla that drama lovers like!
So could be said - this drama managed to show both realistic and fairytale romances, without much primitiveness and cliches.

I was very invested in the story till half of it, i couldn't predict what was going to happen and that was very nice but then the yoon ha and joon ki plot just got into a loop of slways the same thing, the same with her "fights" with her older sister where she didn't do anything. Loved the chang soo and ji yi story, best thing on the drama. The last episode was way too rushed, i wanted to see the end of stuff, a lot wasnt satisfying like: why didnt yoon ha's father get a proper punishment for being a terrible human being? Why didn't yoon ha's mother leave when she said a bunch of times that she was in a abusive relationship and that she didnt want to stay in that house any longer? What happened to the fight on the older sister and the older brother? Who ended up being the company's vice president?
The first half of the drama was really nice, thr second part could've been better if they didn't kept doing the same stuff every episode.

every thing in real life
& Park Hyung Shik his role was awesome i really loved him he made me laugh many times
my favorite kind of drama to has a happy ending although it' is a little tepid ending for me but

disclaimer: I have watched 8/16 episodes
The romance is so good.
The lines are so good.
The chemistry is so good.
The second couple are so in love I cannot take it.
2nd FL wins best Second Female Lead E.VER!!!
The ost is a feel good ost
The whole drama is a feel good one.
I expected a heavy melodrama I'm glad it isn’t …or is it… turning into one.
I wish it was longer. I watched it so quickly and it felt like it left a greater impact.
Also it felt like old dramas; a drama with a plot, not just a concept. I really enjoyed it, a lot.
I’m so happy writers like this one exist. Her dramas are always full of soul and love. They don't feel like empty shells, with an empty concept. Yes, they all become melodramatic and maybe draggy but I don't mind that, because it does have meaning in some way.

Lamento informar.
O casal principal é ótimo, amei a protagonista.
