Our Times (2015)

It can be compared to " Our times " in the aspects like youth, passion , a life changing incident and love. Even though both of them have a different messages to convey, the cast in both the movies are exceptionally good which makes it worth watching. it was like they lived through the characters , i am damn sure that at least one of the scenes might have made an impression on you on different ways of viewing life. it is just a suggestion of mine.
watch it or not depends on you. a wonderful portrayal of lives awaits you. =)

If u watched "To love or not to love",then i think the next chinese movie you should watch is "our times".Its a beautiful ,funny,chinesse drama. I personally have watched it and I already have wthced more than 2 time...

Both films have a charmingly awkward female lead reminiscing on her high school days and a romance that blossoms after a run-in with the male lead. The stories are similarly framed, with several plot points overlapping, but unique enough that you can enjoy both without feeling like you're watching the exact same film.

Our Times and Youth Never Returns are centered around first love school romance. Both involve real life problems that we can all relate to. Joe Chen also stars in both of them.

both male and female leads had a crush on another person and helped each other to be closer to the one they love. they slowly fall in love together without even noticing it.

they both share some sort of nostalgia. "Our Times" has a general story plot where the main girl reminisce her past until the end. While "The Way We Were" switches from past to present. Both of them involve the 90's, where the "good girl"hangs with the "bad boy"and falls in love. Then "bad boy" does have a tragedy happen to him.

Fifteen-year-old Sei Saotome is the type of person who tends to fail at the most crucial times. After nearly becoming a high school drop-out, she enrolls into a school that is overambitious for her. There she meets the bold and popular Taiyou Udagawa; and the dreamy and stars obsessed, Mizuki Ootaka. After being asked by Mizuki to join the two guys in the Astronomy Club, it turns out high school life isn't as bad as she had expected.

They gave me a similar vibe about first love and youth. I recommend both of them but if you haven't seen any of these movies I suggest you start with "our times" and then watch "love the way you are". I think it would be better this way.

Both are similar in the way that both of the female leads is a model student and the ml is considered a ´´bad´´ student because he is a troublemaker. Despite the differences they both fall in love. The Outsiders is more grim and dark, while Our Times focus more on the romance but both are still good movies in my opinion. So if you like the good girl/bad boy concept then I would recommend you to watch this one :)

both movie gave me the same feel, i actually found this after searching for a movie similar to our times.

Both main characters are goofy and cute
Both deals with school
Both has the goody-goody fall for the rebel

although not necessarily similar plotlines, the feel good vibes of the 90s, crushes and puppy love are present in both films!

Both have same female lead actress and tell the story of her character becoming friends with a guy who she at first did not like or understanding. She eventually gains feelings for them also.

"Cafe. Waiting. Love" is more of a romance fantasy, while "Our Times" is a slice of life romance. "Out Times" is better in my opinion.

flashback to first love friendship and school days . A similar feeling, music and acting was good.

Our times is more on the light and funny side, while Bokura ga ita is more on drama (especially part 2). They are only similar in, high school first love then got separated for many years, did not know what happened to one herroine, from high school to working employee

Same vides, plot wise, youthful drama, nostalgia of meeting your first love, and all. Also the bickering part and the fl fanning over a boyband.
