Oh sweet young love is just filled with drama, heartache and swoon worthy moments! Both movies portray young love in a manner that makes one either want to experience it during their high school years or want to go back in time and experience it. It's a story of teenagers who experience love and heartbreak but it's also about discovering yourself and who you believe you are.

In both the girl tells a story of her high school, about her life, friends, how she fell in love.

Lin Zhen Xin is an ordinary office worker who gets ridiculed by her subordinates. Dejected, she listens to a cassette recording of an old Andy Lau song. One day, Zhen Xin receives a chain letter, warning her of impending doom if she does not pass the message on. Naively, she passes it on to Hsu Tai Yu, the school's notorious gangster boss, her maths teacher, and Tao Min Min, the school's most popular girl. While Tai Yu was reading the letter, he gets injured in a car accident. After weeding out the letter's sender, the angry Tai Yu makes Zhen Xin his 'friend' and forces her to run errands for him in exchange for leaving Fei Fan alone, thus making her his errand-girl.

Both movies have similar plot with the female lead being in love with the most popular guy in school and the male lead in love with another girl at first. Both movies are hilarious and fun to watch. May Who is slightly more lighthearted than Our Times.

The movies are different but they're both set in the past and friendships play a big part in them. Not to mention these are both wonderful films.

Similarities from Ep.1:
-The present version of the female lead is an opposite version of the past. Both Ban Hani (Hello, Me!) and Zhen Xin (Our Times) are so different from their old selves.
-It starts out in the present time then shifts to the high school years of the female lead's life.
