First time writing a review. I don't like doing this but i wanted to write this time.Anyway.Telling in advance: THERE MAY BE SPOILERS.

Disappointed. First episodes were totally amazing! But then something happened!! It started to... repeat the same things ??

The story is a really stupid one.I thought something was going to happen about school but this didn't happen. And then HaeSong ? No. JB or Yoo Jin ? No!! Oz Ent. ? NO. THIS DRAMA HAS THE STORY of RIAN!!* Moreover,it has one of the worst endings ever **WhoEndedUpWithWho?** and yes the story lacks a loooot more things.DH1 was way better than this.

BUT somehow, I couln't stop myself watching this.Maybe because, when i look at them, i see myself and my friends. Could have been way better but i laughed and got upset much more this time than i did. And because of my personal feelings, gonna give this a 7. Yes it wasn't that good BUT this one touched my heart. I love dreaming themed dramas. Because they really affect me. Gonna countinue dreaming...

I watched it but believe me, most of many friends would get bored after 8 episodes.

One more thing, JB and HaeSong don't match lol.I guess that's why some of their scenes were... odd ?? I wanted JB to end with HaeSong but he looks way better with Rian.Jiyeon's acting was a really good one though.

EDIT: I wanted to add one last thing. Since JB is going to debut soon, i guess, this drama was for him to be famous before debut. Thanks for reading.

I know, the "Not Helpful" button will be much more visible after some of you read this but I think you should just hear my opinion about it once.

Dream High 2 is just what comes to my mind when my friends ask me to watch something boring, dreadful and just to pass the damn hot-summer day by commenting how useless the drama is. The story is decent. Its no jewel out of the box. The actors are the only reason why I finished it, by skipping here and there, by ignoring some parts or by predicting the rest (which turned out to be exactly the way I thought!). Im Jae Bum, Ji Yeon, Ailee and Hyorin are the only ones to look out for.
The music's not something that makes you completely hooked. Kang So Ra's and Im Jae Bum's dating parts are just childish!
For me re watch value is up to NIL, but because of HerShe group and Im Jae Bum, I give it a 1.5 .
Overall, I regret watching it. Now you go decide if you want to keep high expectations of the second part or re watch the first part instead?
But whoever saw this drama the way I saw it, you are more than welcomed to click the "Helpful" button.

Now go hit whatever button you like.

This drama is a big disappointment. Though I didn't have doubts that it can't surpass the first season's success, I didn't expect Dream High 2 to be at this level.
The story might have been well-grounded since it looked into the realistic bitter side of artists, which is really promising. I think the disappointment was also because I expected too much on the first episodes thinking that it can hold onto a potentially great story line, which obviously didn't materialize.
Halfway, it became a love story where you'll be amused and annoyed in guessing who the hell ends up with who. The "dream theme" is slowly vanishing. The "super idol" thing going on is rather dragging rather than exciting.
I felt the casting was a waste since they weren't able to shine in their respective characters. Their skills on stage are unquestionably exceptional yet weren't brought to the spotlight properly. Their acting was acceptable, I guess since it's not awkward to watch.
One more thing is that the drama doesn't have anything to keep it together. I actually tried skipping an episode and felt that I didn't miss anything, though I eventually watched it anyway.
One scene that gave me hope for this drama was Jin Yu Jin's dancing. It's a must watch! The dance, I mean.

At first, I was really excited to watch this drama because of the cast. I'm usually not so critical about idols who act, "give them a chance" right? But once I got to watching it, it'd always drag for me. The plot wasn't going anywhere. By the time I got to episode 8 or so, I was practically watching it for Junior and Jinwoon. (eye candy!)

The songs were pretty good, I wouldn't listen to them on a daily basis. However, I really liked Hello to Myself.

The acting was all right. I believe the only "good" actors in this drama were Jinwoon and Junior. Rian did her role really well, (at pissing me off). Everyone else was pretty bad.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this drama to anyone.

I watch dream high 1 I thought it was good till the pairing I wanted didn't happen. But it did still hook me and ended up watching it in 2 days.

As for dream high 2 I hate every character from the btchy teacher to more btchy teachers to btchy idol. I hate the main girl I find her so annoying how she obsesses over JB even though the guy is a douche. Also she blames jin yoo for her not getting her shot but she should be blaming herself for sucking asss. The only character I do like is jin yoo jin and he doesn't get enough screen time. I love it when he sings because although I dont know what the fck his saying it still sounds amazing. Oh and I do like the disgusting principle I find him very funny.

Through out the 5 episodes I did watch I found myself bored through out and skipping and skipping. The plot of the btchy actress is boring sht.

I did like the music in this though so that i gave an 8.

I pretty much just dropped it. I don't want to see jin yoo jin end up with that annoying main character.

I just really desliked it like most people have.

To be honest,I watched this drama only cuz I watched the 1st season and liked it so much.BUT,I was disappointed not because it was different from the first season but cuz it wasn't made that good,,,,some characters in my opinion seemed very poor and some actors and actresses didn't make a good acting performance specialy Rian

At the start it was pretty descent drama but as the story goes on you feel somehow not intersted in it anymore,,,,also the fact that JB lost everything made it a very lame ending to me,,,,

This is my first time writing a review so please go easy on me.

Truth be told, I was reluctant about watching this show because the first season really captivated me so much that I don't want to get disappointed with the second one. BUT THAT IS WHERE I WAS WRONG.

I rated the story 10 because unlike other dramas, they completely changed the plot line ( I actually thought they were going to use the same story only different cast). I completely fell in love with the idea that they showed how much has changed after season 1. Once in a while they reminisce moments in the season 1 which shows connection to this season. The cast was only 8 because I think some of the characters lacked a little impact, though as the show continues I think they also get better.

This is my first time watching a drama waiting week after week just for a new episode, and I have to say, after every episode it just keeps me wanting for more. Every episode keeps me wanting more.

I'm not really good at making criticisms just yet and Dream High placed a special spot in my heart that I don't think I can say negative comments about it. But I hoped this helps.

PS: Its better if you watched the season 1 first.

I, strangely didn't actually like Dream High since I thought the plot was stretched out too much. I really didn't consider watching Dream High 2 since it was a sequel and the sequels are not as good as the original. But I was a 2AM fan and liked Sora so I thought I would watch it.

The beginning was a bit weird but I wanted to watch more of it. This made me watch all the episodes and my love for all the characters grew dramatically. I loved JB's cute acting.

The storyline wasn't as good but it was just a fun drama to watch. There was no character that I would say I hated. Even the 'evil' ones had their charm. It got to a point where I didn't care who was with who since I liked all the couples and friendships formed.

It was a drama with no that many twists and turns and was quite simple and cute. It was fun to watch and showed how everyone has talents, they just need to be exposed to the right situations to find out what it is.

Exitement:

where to start? After ive seen the first season of Dream High i was full with Joy and Emotions.I was still dancing on the opening from dream high one which was awesome.Full motivation i opened the first episode of this ride of hell of Season 2.The beginning was already weird .The theme song and all of the actors had changed,I was like oh dear,WHERE IS HYE MI and Sam Dong Dong???.After this whole cast change i noticed the most funny guy was still included: Yang Jin Man...Ok lets come not on conclusions now and lets watch :)

After a few episodes:

Mygod, are you for real ? what happend with DREAM HIGH ? some parts became so kiddy and unbelievable that i was on the edge of stopping my hopes on this series.Kirin art School has turned into a Junkjard with some Noobish Dansers. What happend to this school ? The point that i loved in DH1 is that the people where really trying to become better even though they where not so good in the beginning and overcoming struggles. In part2 you barely see this. There was this episode where i was like YESS now the noobs goin to get super training and goin to show the upper class what they got. They where send to some millitair camp and what did they do ? They find a box and got send home ? WTF ? where is the epic Training and motivation to make them stronger.Really a let down part in my eyes.WHERE IS THAT ROCKY Feeling from DH1 that Samg dong Dong and Hye mi improved.

Music and Dance:

DH1 was so awesome where they had this Epic dance battles in japan and this epic song dream high what i loved alot.In part 2 the dancing is minimal and noobish as i can say.The main actor Shin Hae Sung became a composer where i had loved to see her turning into an epic dance machine and a good singer to show everyone that she is pro.In Dh1 you saw them training and becoming better. However there where 1-2 moments where the music was kinda fun and enjoyable it is not enough to hold up the expectations i had after Dream High 1.

Romance:

I can honestly say. I MISS JASON AND MISS SUSHI AND Hye mii and Sam dong dong. The big happy romance feelings where kinda left out here. They didnt even end up kissing in the end.

Overall:

I was really dissapointed with this series, however it became watchable after 5-7 episodes in the hope of turning into a killer one which would give me the goosebumps back in the ride that i had in Dream High 1.If i think back about it i should have not started this at all to stay in the dream high 1 zone where i was overloaded with emotions and joy.I was watching this right after Season1.I dont wanna be to hard and bad towards the series since it made me laugh at some points and also feel good,But the ending literly destroyed everything for me and was really dissapointing.I would suggest alot of people to just stay away from Season 2.And keep their joy from season 1 and dont let it get ruinned by this. However its hard to stop you from seeing season 2 since you will LONG FOR MoRe Dream high.I really hope they will make a dream high 3 in the future which will bring back and the love and joy i felt from part 1 and then i only feel that this series will get its place between the 2. :)

As I see from the reviews above mine, it seems that this drama is getting not-the-best reviews from others generally. However, I have to admit though, it was very different from Dream High. It took the setting of a songwriter instead of an idol singer or dancer. I thought this was a unique and nice idea for the story. It was rather original too and had a sense of realism. The drama actually focused more on the relationships between the characters as compared to Dream High which was stellar! The acting, I admit, was good. Kang Sora's expressions were really on spot for her character. JB and Jinwoon turned out to be darn good leads. They had their own chemistry xD The side characters were so adorable

To me this drama could've been okay, but it was downright horrible. Poorly written plot, characters, and what I hate the most is the unsolved ending of this drama. This drama had the last 3 episodes very rushed and just ending it like that. No solving, no confirming. I would not recommend this drama at all especially if you hate uncertain endings like me. I recommend the original Dream High much more, because I feel like the cast who didn't make it in the first season got transferred to the second. I wouldn't even bother to rewatch this drama at all. It does leave me with some feels and feeling very annoyed about the ending

So Dream High 2, I honestly thought it was a pretty good drama. I don't want to compare it to the first Dream High because although it's a second season, it's not really a sequel if you think about it. It has its own story line and it could stand on its own without the first one actually preceding it.
The drama did lack some emotional aspect overall. There weren't moments where I honestly laughed at or any moments that made me cry. There were so many twists and turns and at many times it was very confusing to know where the story was going, especially the love lines. I think that the writers focused more on the love lines that aspect of "dreaming" wasn't really there. There were so many different conflicts that were bunched up together in such a short drama that in the end things were resolved too quickly or not even resolved at all. I don't want to continue because I feel as if I would spoil so man things.
Overall it was okay for me. Sure I expected more from the drama because the storyline itself didn’t tie together all of the ideas and aspects that were thrown at us at the beginning or in the early promotions of the drama. The acting in the drama was what really made me watch and continue to watch until the end. They were very good at portraying each character. Although many of them were new, they worked hard and with each episode they improved.
