Action pack drama with various kind of twist and turns !!!!!!!

I have been watching dramas since i was in 8 th standarder .
PLOT :
This drama is literally good it has blasting plot , casting and every ep is full of suspenseful. Be ready to catch ypur seat tightly while watching this drama eventhough this drama revolves around only one case but it is very suspenseful when they caught one suspect than other suspect appears.
ROMANCE:
If you are into a romantic drama with full of heartfluttery moments than it is not your cup of tea but it has some slow burn romance and there are two couples. The romantic movement between mainleads will bring butterflies to your stomach. The second leads couple are also very cute and they all have a nickname which is really cute.
CHARACTERS:
we have been seeing in every drama that main lead is strong and smart whereas female lead is weak but in this drama female lead is very intelligent eventhough she is shy but she knows what she is doing.

I started watching this drama because after watching so much of romantic dramas I want some with suspense or crime genre drama. After so many research I found this drama with some romance and crime genre and then I decided to watch this show.

Story- at first I thought it was so boring but after some episodes when the main cast actually meets . The crime part was actually very interesting but only when you watch it with fully concentration. The chemistry between the snail ? and the lion ? was interesting. And best part of the drama was the diary of Xu Xu. The emotional part was really very touching.

Cast - this is the first time when I like all the four characters very very much. I was really happy that in the last all the cast get together and it will be a happy ending.

U must watch this drama but with full of concentration.

U may watch the this drama on YouTube with eng sub.
Love from India ❤️

I had trouble getting into this drama with just watching the first 2 episodes, but once I was a couple episodes in and realized that all of the cases were connected and XuXu wasn't strange, just quiet, I was able to enjoy the story line. The story got really good and intense and I just had to keep watching it to see what happened. Personally, I liked the drama most once they left China to go to Burma because the danger levels got higher which made the pacing and suspense so much better!

I finished this drama and ended up having to watch it all over again because my mother saw some scenes and JUST HAD to watch it for herself to "really understand the ending," she said. XD So I watched it twice in the span of 2 weeks. If a drama is good enough for me to watch twice, especially in such a short time period, I would definitely say it's worth the watch.

CAUTION -- Ji Bai (Wang Kai) might give you a nosebleed while watching this (sexy lion you), so come prepared before sitting down to watch.
Also, I plan on reading the Chinese novel this drama is based on because the story was just THAT good.

Where to begin for this drama - how about wow, spectacular, well done. It is very rare you come across a drama that is so well done, you don't see any flaws whatsoever. That is what you have in When a Snail Falls in Love. The drama does a great job of balancing it's romance, crime, drama, thriller genre that I was never confused at what I was watching. However, for those who want all fluff, this may not be your cup of coffee. I also appreciated the director's use of filming styles and the cinematography was just beautiful. It is definitely in my top 10!

On a Special Note!

Acting/Cast: Well done! The chemistry between the leads - Wang Kai (Ji Bai) and Wang Zi Wen (Xu Xu) was fire!

More Please!
I loved the OST of this drama. I wish they would have played more of it; but, I know this is just a selfish request.

Honorable Mention: I sincerely appreciate when women play non-traditional/unusual roles. Zhang Yan Yan's character was a good breath of fresh air.

Would I Re-watch?
Yes! Yes! Yes!

Detective in love

Snail... was the best detective drama that I watched in 2016. The writing and production format were the equivalent of a British detective drama. The plot is very intricate, and it is best to binge-watch the drama, to maintain the continuity and focus. The detective team demonstrated the true meaning of teamwork and loyalty. Ji Bai represents the true team leader; pragmatic, unemotional, inspiring.

All the actors did a very good job with their character roles. The drama villains were the Ye extended family members. Wang Kai/Ji Bai's action scenes were flawless.

WASFIL is an interesting drama full of action and intrigue with some light romance thrown in. I like the that the women's characters are written as strong and smart. It is what drew me into the drama. I think it is a little predictable, but it is still a well written plot. I also like the cinematography and the way it was directed.

Wang Kai was great as the strong and fair leader, Ji Bai. The leads have great chemistry. Wang Olivia is totally awesome as Xu Xu. She is smart, strong and great at adapting. Plus, she is pretty fearless. I enjoyed her character so much. All the actors are good.

The music is good.

I will probably rewatch this someday.

If you like detective shows with action and a slow romance, then this is the drama for you.

First of all, I didn't read the novel before I watched this drama. And I think it was a very good decision when I listen to people who read the novel first.

After Love me, if you dare I was very excited for this drama. Not only because of the story but also because of Wang Kai. He is my favourite Chinese Actor, so it was a must to watch this drama.

Story: I like the story because it is a mix of crime, action and romance. This was an aspect for me to watch the drama. When I was watching I liked it even more...but why is the story not a 10? Because there is something I didn't like. It is the problem, which many chinese dramas have. The problem I mean is, that many chinese dramas are too draggy. When a Snail falls in Love is a very good drama and at the beginning it was promising. But there are some things I don't understand. I don't know the ending of the novel but I know the Ending of anothter Ding Mo novel (and there was a clear ending). I can live with cliffhangers at the end of every episode, but I don't like cliffhangers at the end of the last episode. Why can't Dramas have a clear ending? That is one of the problem of WaSfiL. I can't compare the drama adaption with the novel, but what I heart was, that there are some things missing. In my opinion there are some thing which are not clear. For example the viewer don't know how much time is between some scenes. I wish that they would have written it on the screen. And the episodes are too short. Maybe they should have had 45 Minutes or more than 21 Episodes.
This are the Main Reasons why I rated this drama not so high like Love me if you dare.

Acting: Like I wrote above, I am a big fan of Wang Kai. His performance in Love me, if you dare was excellent. And I liked him in Ode to Joy very much. So i was very excited for his performance as the male Lead. And he didn't disappoint me as the police officer Ji Bai. Captain Ji is a silent, attractive and smart person. Maybe a little bit arrogant in the beginning. But after he realises that Xu Xu isn't a normal psychologist, his personality in front of her changes. In my opinion (and after watching Wang Kai as a police officer twice) the performance of Wang Kai as an police officer is very good.
Wang Olivia as Xu Xu was very good, too. Honestly, in Ode to Joy I didn't liked her character, but her acting as Xu Xu, a snail like psychologist who falls in love for the first time is very good. Xu Xu and Ji Bai are a beautiful couple. They understand each other, they know each other and they know what the other of them is thinking. The chemistry is very good and I like the two of them together very much.
The supporting characters were very good, too. So I think I will check out more of their dramas. If it were not for the Acting skills of the Actors and Actresses I wouldn't rate this drama with a 9. But the Actors rescued it with the amazing performance.

Music: The Music is good. I like the opening theme very much and the Music which is played during the episodes ist good, too.

Rewatch Value: I don't know. Maybe, because the episodes are not an hour long, but it depends on my mood.

I would recommend it, if you didn't read the novel yet. Maybe is it better to read the novel after you watched the drama.

Great ending! Left me in tears and wanting another season.

The story revolves around Ji Bai and Xu Xu, who are cops. At first Ji Bai is not happy with Xu Xu’s qualifications in joining the team and asks her to retake the physical exam in three months. She is known to be a genius because of her ability to psychologically analyze situations and people, that’s what got her a spot on the team, but her physical ability fails to meet the expectations that Ji Bai holds for his team and for becoming a cop. The two work together to help one another with their problems, and to solve the crimes committed and uncover who is behind it all. Starting in China with a kidnapping crime and eventually they make their way to Myanmar where they put a stop to a huge drug and human trafficking business.

Overall, the story was very well written but for this drama you need to pay close attention to the plot, as it will get confusing very quickly. I had to watch the drama twice (a year later) in order to grasp some of the things I missed. The first time around I got lost and was confused how everything connected together, but the story is actually one whole case comprised of crimes that lead/link to one another. But don’t let this be a reason to not watch the drama. You can still perfectly enjoy it without picking up on every single detail of the story. If you are not looking for a heavily focused romance story, this is perfect. The romance is enough to leave you entertained but does not take away from the rest of the plot. The chemistry between the main leads are undeniably cute!

The plot was very unique and different from a traditional detective story. What I wish was different would be that instead of one big case, they could add in just a few more smaller ones. The story sometimes got overwhelming because it was always one thing after another. Right when you thought you could take a breather and pick up your phone to respond to some text messages, something sudden happens and you end up not replying. But don’t get me wrong, this is a great and very entertaining story, I didn’t even mind watching it a second time.

Beautifully written drama. For someone who is not really craving for so called common romance, I like how the production team executes the romance part if this drama. It's not overdone, adequate. Ji Bai always have his own way expressing his interest towards Xuxu, vice versa.

As for the crime parts, it is the emphasis of the drama. This drama requires brain and focus for you to keep understanding the whole situation. They have domino effect from one case to another. Ji Bai and Xuxu are just human, they sometimes did it wrong, they accepted it and move on. That's the most important part about the investigation side of this drama that I like. Each characters complete the other.

Music and cinematography are great. Not only fair enough, but they really put extra attentions to these factors. I love the OSTs, background music and cinematography which helps me understand more about the scene.

Definitely the best Chinese drama I have ever watched so far.

Wow.

This drama was just soo good. I couldn't find it anywhere and I had to search for a while before I got a website that had this drama but. It was soo worth it. I LOVED the whole thing, especially the cases their so so interesting, and the drama is quite short. However, the romance between the ML and FL is quite very low key but they're really cute, and there is lots of thrilling action. Ohhhh I really wanna see more of them together and that ending! Omg it's left some unanswered questions so I am VERY VERY eagerly anticipating a season 2. The acting was incredible especially the FL's. The cast were soo good. The music was just as thrilling as the story and just fit so well with the scenes. Overall, this was a really really good drama that's short but a very very good watch. 🔎🧑🏻‍🏫👮🏻💞👮🏻‍♀️🔎🧠

I went asking for rects like LOVE ME, IF YOU DARE, and someone suggested WHEN A SNAIL FALLS IN LOVE. A few people, actually recommend it. And I have to tell you, I enjoyed this movie. The first episode I had to pause it and look up the cast because the male lead looks familiar. And to my happiness, it was Kai Wang from LOVE ME, IF YOU DARE - I was definitely in.

The premise for the story was amazing. I love a good Criminal Minds-y story. The female lead (Olivia Wang) is the most adorable yet. I love a strong female who seems demure but can outwit and outlast you any day. She was acting even when she was merely looking around the scene being super bad-ass and brainy.

The male lead (Wang Kai) was gorgeous, alpha, super strong. There is something about his character that endeared me to him. Captain Ji always wants to protect Xu Xu but it seems the character knows that sometimes, he just has to sit back and watch her work. He was alpha, but not the crazy kind where he holds her so tightly she loses herself. The times when he gets upset with her--really upset is when she puts herself in unnecessary danger and those are the times when I'm sitting in front of my computer screaming "sis, you could die for this!"

There are a couple of points in the show that I thought could have been taken out, or worked out a little better. The random trip about money to Myanmar was a little rushed for me - I see where it was necessary and the ending was filmed a little weird (it's a good ending, trust me) but I still enjoyed it.

let's talk about Ding Mo for a second. I've seen two dramas in which she has some part in. And it seems she has a way of writing her men to be respectful to their women--she writes them that they want to protect their women from everything--all the evils in the world, but knows they cant. They know they must equip her with the knowledge to keep themselves alive until help can get there. And I'm down for that.

Anyway, watch this Drama. If you loved LOVE ME, IF YOU DARE, you'll totally love this one too.
