Somehow they both give off a similar vibe. I feel that the humour (I laughed so hard in SWDBS and am finally finding something that makes me laugh just as much with BTIMFL) and the mix of lighthearted romance with pretty serious elements are kind of similar.
The storyline and the characters are totally different though. Although they are kind of the only progressive k-dramas out there: strong female leads and challenge of traditions.

Both protagonists have "supernatural powers" that help protect the other main protagonist in some way. In TY, the male protagonist can see into the future tries to keep close and protect the main female protagonist from her foreseen death. In SWDBS, the female main protagonist has super strength and becomes the male protagonist's bodyguard. Both have very intriging story lines and are highly recommended.

Same vibe of playful and happy love.

Have a semi serious background plot, but the majority of the show revolves around the leads love/getting together.

Strong woman has a love triangle.

Both have cute pairings who love to tease each other.
Both revolve around the workplace.
Both have leads with past connections to each other.

Both dramas are romantic comedies with a criminal aspect to it that makes them both adorable and light-hearted while being thrilling and keeping you on the edge of your seat. Both female protagonists use their unique ability to help solve crimes and all the characters are loveable and bring a twist to the shows.

I don't know why this drama give me Bong Soon vibe but it did.

Link: Eat Love Kill felt like a much darker Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.

The fantasy romance coupled with a thriller mystery.

Instead to a girl and 2 boys, it's 1 boy and 2 girls and another boy that likes the girl that likes the boy.

Not suuuuper similar but the suspense and crime-solving techniques are what make me think if you like Criminal Minds, you'd Like Strong Woman. Both go to pretty dark places in a persons mind. Also, Criminal Minds was mentioned in Strong Woman so there's that. Strong Woman is a softer, crime drama in that there is more to it than just crime solving.

If Criminal Minds is too dark I'd definitely check out the Strong Woman!

Both these dramas have a variation of feel (eg: comedy, thriller, romance) throughout the episode. Both concepts are appealing to someone who is wanting to see the world think out of the box. The characters are made so well in both these dramas that you cant help but fall in love with them

Both deal with the male lead being in love with the female lead and she falling for him.
Though there are no supernatural elements, and the characters are in high school and not adults. Both have similar in the way the characters fall for one another. I found the movie cute and refreshing, the first I watched it, and while watching this drama, I got the same feeling behind the love story.

The Superhero feel we get from Do Bong Soon if you want more of that then go watch Uncanny Counter.
Do Bong Soon feels like the Origin story of a Superhero while Uncanny Counter feels like the Origin Story of a Group of Superheroes who recruit their new member(Our ML) after their leader's death because of the bad guy.

They are both brilliant dramas, i thoroughly enjoyed both. Both the FL have been gifted from birth with a special power that they must learn how to use and control. Both have 2 ML protectors of sorts only difference is in KO the protectors started of wanting to eat the FL to absorb her powers but end up protecting her quite quickly early on in the series. Both dramas ML can't help falling in love at first sight with FL. If you love one drama you will love the other drama its just a shame they never made a seconds season of KO.

Though the genres are quite different there are some similarities.
> Both feature Park HyungSik
> ML falls in love first
> Both FLs are strong ( in SWDBS she is extraordinarily strong)
> While SWDBS is RomCom, happiness only has slight romance but both leads have amazing chemistry.
> Both ML and FL protect each other. (In SWDBS, she is actually his bodyguard)

They are both supernatural stories about the female lead having a special power, in Black it is the ability to know when someone is about to die while in SWDBS it is super-strength. Both have a cold detective trying to solve mysteries surrounding them. Both dramas also have a rich playboy pursuing the leading lady. Both dramas have strong female leads, comedic elements, and thrilling moments. If you liked Black and want something a bit more cheerful, give Strong Woman Do Bong Soon a try!
