Both are critically acclaimed thriller movies by Bong Joon Ho and Song Kang Ho plays a main character in both.

Regardless of the scenario difference of these two movies, both concentrate on social differences and greedy people struggling to hoist themselves to an upper and wealthier group, even though they have to step on their values and humanity.

Both won many international film awards. Both have many layers of meaning. Beautifully make. Leave viewers sink into deep process of thinking thoughts. Forever remember the film

Similar concept with a dark and deep plot. Harsh criticism of today’s world. The soundtracks are similar too.

Both focus on the interactions between the poor and the rich. In fact, the word "parasite" is uttered by the rich people in "My Wonderful Life" many times. I'd say that Parasite is darker for sure, and My Wonderful Life is more realistic.

the name Hiru means Leaches! both of these titles are about people who sneak into unoccupied rooms and live off other people. the themes "crime and death" are also shared

SKY Castle is almost like the drama version of Parasite, minus the theme on the broken education system (well not really, there's a similarity here since the poor son entered into the rich family's house as the English tutor for their high school daughter). The rich families in SKY Castle resemble the rich family's life in Parasite, except in the movie there's not much background about the rich family so you have to extract it from their small conversations, e.g. when the husband and wife are spending the night together on the couch. Both are heavy on social commentaries and have a good mixture of satire and shock elements. Enjoy!

dare I say .... art does not imitate, but interpret.
This has a similar premise to Parasite, the web of lies the family shares slowly unravel when an intruder comes into the picture.

Both explore similar themes of social hierarchy and the prejudices incurred. Parasite however is more in your face and High and Low is more subtle. They're both directed by the finest of directors to ever exist and definitely a must watch!

While I was watching Parasite, 3-Iron came to mind. Both got a strange and original plot about other people homes. And this is just an opportunity to recommend this film to y'all.

Where rich people acts like they are perfect and turns out they will lead any crime towards to poor people. And it is also similar when poor people can be cruel without the angelic image.

Explores similar themes of rich vs poor and how they interact with each other + you'll see a familiar face at the beginning of The Glory.

Very creepy, slow burn movies with a lot of symbolism

Both make you think long after you finish viewing them, requiring you to unpack what you just watched

Both are socially aware films that focus on discrimination and oppression of those who are weak in society (those who are poor or those who are immigrants or unattractive).

Parasite is based more on moral focus.
These two drama and movie are different sides of the same coin.
