I enjoyed this drama a little too much, not going to lie. The drama seems like your typical undercover dogs team with everyone playing their own roles, however, the team dynamic is truly so strong. They have disputes and it doesn't seem to end till the last moment, however, the insane character development from lack of trust and despise to love and family is most worth the watch. I admit that I chose to watch this drama because Woo DoHwan was in it, knowing how great and charismatic of an actor he is, however, the rest of the casting was equally as strong. The minimal romance scenes definitely leaves the audience craving for more, however, we're reminded once again that it's a thriller/mystery/action, not necessarily a romance drama. Therefore, I give the drama a solid 9/10.

Not for everyone

I’ve been watching kdramas for a while and have been a fan of the crime/law series that this genre provides, but I wasn’t a big fan. It felt like the main conspiracy of the show could have been solved much faster. I feel like this show would have benefited a lot more from a traditional 10 episode format (each episode being an hour long) since they stop solving other insurance scams and try to take down the large plane crash conspiracy.

However, the acting is amazing and all the main characters are lovable, the ost is amazing as well.

Definitely recommend checking this drama out if you like crime/injustice shows

Slow paced

Great cast of actors, all of whom kept me watching more than the story did, to be honest.
Occasional bit of uncomfortable character portrayal from Yoo Ji-tae; maybe he was directed to be a little OTT at times and that's why.
Woo Do-hwan was excellent as the cocky, detached and guilt-ridden younger brother, seeking the truth about what happened to his estranged sibling on the fated flight this drama's based on.
Lovely seeing Ryu Hwa-young, who I thought acted well alongside WDH. Her acting is subtle, with some great facial expressions.
It has all the right ingredients for a mystery; twisting plot, corporate greed and conniving, fractured families, betrayal, outcast private team of insurance fraud investigators, made up of different personalities, with friendship, loyalty and humour in the mix.
The plot was pretty good, with twists and turns.
For me, however, the pace wasn't the problem, but the length of the show. 16 episodes was too long and the story ended up being drawn out. It became too convoluted at times.
The last 2 episodes, like earlier ones, were very good; if only they'd left out parts that felt like padding, rather than valuable additions to the story.

I’m All In

Mad dog is superb. One of the few dramas where I haven’t skipped a second.
The plot is completely engaging. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Tragedy, comedy, serious issues. Fast paced, never boring and no fillers.
Characters are so beautifully woven together. Heroes and villains all acted brilliantly. Mad dog team are smart and adorable. I love them all. Support roles are well rounded and blend into the story line.
I’m already sad at the thought of this drama ending and I’m praying for a season 2
Definitely worth a rewatch

If you ever watched the American version of Leverage or the Korean version of Leverage, The Player, Special Teams Unit...then you'll love this.

This drama is about a plane crash that took loved ones away unexpectedly. The subject can be really harsh for those who may have lost a loved in a plane crash. That haven't happened to me thank goodness and I hope it never will because some episodes in this drama made me forget that it wasn't real. The pain and the hurt were really there. The first few episodes I really really fought back some tears. The mid part had me doing the same. Some episodes had me gritting my teeth. It was just that powerful.

The cast was awesome. I usually watch these dramas because of the type of genre that I love but when you add in cast members I'm familiar with and like that makes it even more enjoyable for me to watch.

I will say Choi Won Young who plays as Joo Hyun Gi has a disturbing look. The Vulcan hairstyle he sported made it worse. For those who's not familiar with the term Vulcan-check out the late Leonard Nemoy's hairstyle from Star Trek and see if I'm lying. He played the same character in Hello Monster which makes me believe he's a type cast meaning he gets casts as playing a social & psychopath. If you look the part, play the part. Jeong Bo Seok who played as Cha Joon Kyu as well.

I loved the way it ended. The screenwriter got it right. This is how I wish every Korean drama that I've watched would end this way.
The only thing I didn't like was that it ended and I now have to find another drama that's up to that caliber.

The storyline and the cast alone rated my 10! Woo Do-Hwan you were magnificent in the character you portrayed and convinced me of this tragedy. Yoo Ji Tae I love the character you portrayed as well. I wanted to give condolences that's how convincing you were. I wished the writer would've added to your story a little more regarding your character's wife and son. Ryu Hwa Young you also played a great character, wished the writers would've given you a little more romance with Woo Do-Hwan's character. oh well, you win some you lose some... The rest of the Mad Dog Team: Kudos to Pentium played by Kim Hye Sung, and Park Soon Jung played by Jo Jae Yoon! The music was on point. I love investigative work. I enjoyed this KDrama. This is the 4th KDrama I have watched in 2 days with Woo Do-Hwan in it. He will be on my fav Korean Actor's list even though I don't know if can sing, or do martial arts (but that backflip kick of his awesome)

this drama really is really amazing as an action/revenge one
all were amazing in his role
i liked it so much, sure became one of my favourite dramas ^_^

although i like hye sung but i saw him a little weak in his acting
specially the shot he was stabbed in

and what about won young stupid cravat
every time i saw it he gives me the feeling that he was in rush while he was dressing up LOL

and i wasn't satisfied about the end totally

*till the end they didn't explain why they killed (min jung)
and what's her role in all these suspicious insurance documents??

*all those crimes and killing and each one of villain characters
took between 5-7 yrs in prison only, even when they were responsible about 67 one killed at the plane crashing COME ON .. REALLY -_-

*how come (jung jin) didn't go to prison after killing one and stabbing other and trying to kill 2,
one of them three times ??

all these judgments wasn't fair at all for me

and all( mad dog) group they gave (hye sung) the excuse , forgive and consoled him for what his father did
but at the same time they judged (do hwan) badly for the same crime
this was extremely unfair they all torture him at the beginning
although he wasn't responsible about his brother's crime even if he committed suicide as they said

and the romance was very slight although it was cute but it was very cold at the same time

in-spite of all these points i really enjoyed this show and highly recommended

Woo do guaoooooo!!!

He dicho caso cerrado jaja.
