A presumably happy couple is shaken as a murder that is connected to the both of them occurs. Both dramas are set around an investigation to find the culprit, as well as the personal struggles of the people involved in, and affected by, the case.

Don't even get me started, what I can say without spoiling anything is that while watching Misty I couldn't stop thinking how similar it is to The Good Wife, it offered me the same feelings, it had the same approach of the story but different plots. Definitely check it out you won't regret it!

The ambient, the music, and even more, the way both drama unfolds, seem so similar.

In both drama, the main leads are accused of murder, thus their perfect-seemed life are about to get ruined.
They both have their spouse really believing them and supporting them when going through the hardship, and lastly but not least, when one of them hit on the other first (in the past), the drama makes time to explain how the main character tries their best to push away their partner, by telling them
"I do not have those feelings, Do you know what sort of a person, I am? " /
"I will never fall in love with you, and probably only use you as my fancy business card"

Both revolve around a mystery murder case and both are full of suspense and thriller from first episode to end. Got same feeling while watching both dramas.

Both dramas:

> depict a complicated love line which makes you question if the characters love each other.
> generally have a dark atmosphere with almost no light-hearted moments.
> have a female lead that is being undecided on her feelings about the ML.
> feature morally ambiguous characters, no black/white.
> depict a female lead that strives for wealth and being in an upper social class, while questioning if wealth necessarily equal happiness.
> question the definiton of love and happiness in general.
> focus on the ugly, twisted and dark side of people.
> end in a twisted, controversial way.
>are made for open-minded watchers.

It may seem like an unusual recommendation since Misty is heavily on the thriller/suspense side but if you put that away you'll see that the main focus is the complicated relationship of the OTP which strongly reminded me of WHIB throughout the whole series.

1. Female leads both have hidden past
2. Male leads are lawyers
3. Strong female leads
4. The theme, mood and tone are both similar

Both dramas are female-character driven, have a significant immersion in the legal world (Hyena more because it's about lawyers) and deal with dark greys. Having said that, the story feels much more fleshed out in Misty, the background and the characters are better explored.
Hyena feels like a very ambitious trial to deliver a 3D story, but only a few characters get to that level - the casting was amazing, the chemistry was off the charts, and not just for the OTP, but also for the support characters, this elevates the entire drama and makes it more entertaining.
Misty is more on the realistic side and overall a darker tone, and acting is also excellent.

Both of these dramas deal with extramarital affairs, murder, revenge, and most importantly, women at the centre of both stories.

The main character is a famous announcer. Then the plot is also related to politics, murder investigation and journalism. Interestingly, Ji Jin hee played in both of these dramas. I feel the same vibe.

Both dramas have strong leader females.
Both dramas portraits the characters in an mature and adult way, instead of the childish and clingy behaviour of other dramas.
Both dramas have a mysterious murder that will impact all the story.

Although these two seem very different, they actually have the same title with the title referencing the same thing: the mistiness/fogginess/obscurity of human emotions and interactions. Over all, Misty is better written and produced, but here are some other similarities:

- Not fluffy, more melo/dark.
- Complex female lead with layers who seems like she has it all but is actually struggling quite hard, both against the world and herself
- Complex male lead who is very in-love with female lead but strained relationship
- Couple that is essentially married in name and goes through relationship development
- Complicated political/workplace/societal environment with focus on the darkness behind the glamourous life of upper class

the genres is quite similar yet a little bit different. misty is slightly more matchure and heavy, but the both of them deal with similar subjects such as freedom of press, the importance of the news and powerful people trying to suppress the news or influance it. both have innocent people being framed as a means to hide others corruption using the media and connectors. both feacher the news station as the primary plot setting and use young reporters to uncover the truth and fight off corruption.

Both dramas involve the newsroom, and issues of truth/fact and government suppression of a free press. Both feature strong protagonists who are veteran reporters with uncompromising ideas about media ethics, and while they are considered to have 'bad' personalities, are trusted anchors.

Murder, cheating, betrayal, male leads involved with the Law (prosecutor - Babel, lawyer - Misty), and famous female leads (actress - Babel, anchorwoman - Misty)

Both dramas are dark and realistic, enquiring human morality. Both FL are complicated persons, with problematic past.
