The storyline was interesting to me because of the unique concept that constituted the plot (a vampire who feeds off of energy through physical contact and a human who has mysophobia). It was well paced throughout and the drama did wrap up nicely. There were, however some loose ends, but the second season is rumored to air next month so hopefully, those will be taken care of. The climax of the story (within the drama) though, didn't seem to be as dramatic as they may have intended it to be. It didn't create the suspense or anticipation that it probably should have.
I am actually a big fan of the male lead actor after his drama The Eternal Love, so I found myself inevitably comparing these two. That said, I think both lead actors did a good job of portraying their characters, but I never really felt the chemistry between them. Again, perhaps the second season may change my view on that.
As for the music, I did quite like two of the OSTs. They fit the tone of the story well and were memorable enough, as well as not too overused.
Overall, I would recommend this drama for a short and simple watch, as there are only 16 episodes at around 30 minutes each. I also definitely recommend reading the webtoon!

The drama is fun to watch and it is simple & lighthearted , each episode is about 30 min of duration .
I find the plot interesting as it is not as the other typical vampires series , so it is very superb ! the drama was well paced with the interaction between Li ShiYa & Jiang ZhiHao but the parts where the writer tried to put some suspense into the story did not work as it was not dramatic .
The actors did well portraying their characters , but as for the chemistry between the couple ( ShiYa & ZhiHao ) I did not feel that they are truly in love .
The OST fit the drama mood , I enjoyed it very much . I liked the ( Be Brave To Love ) it just perfectly suitable for this drama as an opening song .
Am not sure if I'll rewatch this drama cause it lacks the suspense , but overall it is a nice choice if you want to watch something light .

Xing Zhaolin did a very good job portraying a peculiar, weird and confused Zhihao who hates touching people due to his germaphobia. But later, all the sweet things he did to accommodate his shortcomings are really nice to watch. And I love it how he didn’t need words or explanation later to understand Shiya's love towards him -- he is the one who felt her sincerity thus other people words didn’t convince him otherwise.
Zhang Yuxi as Shiya is just super lovely! She's pretty, insane, fun, cute and overall just really lovely. I understand why Zhihao falls for her since anyone would. Her imagination, persistence and lack of self-control always made everything more hilarious. The scene that got me the most is the ones where she needs to use children's song in order to stop her sexual frustration lol. And her fashion! My goodness, all those one pieces, dresses and evening gowns are just so pretty. Shiya’s fashion is truly A++ in this drama - the best dressed Chinese lead female actress in my book as for once, a gorgeous person is dressed gorgeously with very pretty hairstyles.
I actually enjoyed a lot of monologue in the drama. The one that I like the most is when Zhihao said that ''He likes being alone where no one disturb him, he has a lot of time to himself -- until Shiya comes into his life and change everything. Then he realised that kind of life actually an extravagant to him thus he dares not to dream about it -- not that he hates it. But now he has felt it, he wants to continue living this new life with Shiya.''
Apart from that, what I love about this drama is the very pretty cinematography and directing. Mostly all of their romantic scenes together are just like a perfect picture with very nice props and background. The drama is like a collection of many beautiful pictures put together. This is one of the dramas where you realise how important is the directing as the director used a lot of props to make everything looks so pretty, beautiful and breath-taking. From the usage of umbrella, hanging lights on trees, lamp posts light at night to theme park or garden backdrop, every of their romantic scenes together are so pretty and perfect as a photobook material. Coupled this with the leads' attractive features and Shiya's great fashion, each scene is like a beautiful photoshoot pictures.
And the OSTs, its really perfect and just beautiful. I don’t know why but C-dramas OSTs are really my cup of tea -- from the sweet melody to the heart-breaking lyrics, everyone seemed to have their own theme song -- even Shi Huan (I didn’t expect the 2nd part ending song is actually from his POV). :D
And the revelation at the end of the drama is really nice and unexpected. Everything makes sense after that -- on why Shiya attracted to Zhihao and why there are always this strange & explanation connection between them. Not only because Zhihao taste delicious but because they are connected together since that day -- as her body remembers his touch and it was his touch which save her from that dark incident. A perfect ending to a complexly fun drama. All around an enjoyable and entertaining production – the one which is perfect for a rewatch everytime you want to have a good and amusing time.

Superfluous Plot and Questionable Ethics
I know I may be nitpicking here, as all dramas has its own flaws, which essentially boil down to differences between Western and Eastern cultures.Firstly, while the overall premise is very entertaining, I can't help but feel that the whole "vampire" trope could have been left out, without the plot being too affected. Early on in the series, there were several times where I forgot that the FL is a vampire, only to be reminded of it when the plot needed it. I know this is based on a webtoon, so I can't comment on it's faithfulness to it's source material.
Secondly, I personally feel like there are some very questionable ethics at play here. Sometimes I feel like the vampire plot point was only shoehorned in, so the FL could harass the ML as much as possible. She wants to be with him so she can feed from him, and to do that she must manipulate him as much as possible. Not only does she want to "cure" the ML from his mysophobia, she also contacts his estranged mom against his will. There's also pet abuse (a goldfish dies from clearly improper care).
There's also the love triangle which makes me slightly uncomfortable, because the other love interest is a massive creep, who not only keeps private photographs of the FL, but also feels that he has the authority to make decisions for her several times.
Overall, this series feels... weird. I'm definitely going to watch the second season to see where everything ends up, but my hopes are not as high as they could have been.

Actors, though young, especially Xing Zhao Lin, are excellent. The plot is good, tense. I can not wait to see how the story will continue. I hope the end will be happy.

However, I gave it a shot anyways - and I do not regret it. The webtoon itself is amazing, and I must say this drama is one of the best adaptations I’ve ever seen so far.
Story:
The script closely follows the story of the webtoon, and many scenes from there can be seen in the drama as well. Only towards the end (season 2), the drama deviated slightly from the webtoon, but majority of the plot still follows it. I personally loved this story, it was light and romantic, but there were scenes that carried a more serious atmosphere as well. (I did cry at some parts lol). The story was paced out really well too, I didn’t feel like it was too fast or too slow. However, one thing I didn’t like was the addiction of couples along the way as the story progresses. We have the main couple, and there were two more couples added in the story, one of them only towards the end. I was fine with 2 couples, but when the 3rd female character was added to complement another male character, I found it a bit too much. (although the couples were all pretty cute)
Acting/cast:
Personally, I love Zhang Yu Xi and Dai Jing Yao. The acting of the two leads Yu Xi and Xing Zhao Lin were amazing as well, they portrayed the emotions of the characters really well and complemented each other and their roles. Literally the whole cast was good looking, and the acting was pretty great.
Music:
I’m not one that’s too concerned about the music but the osts for this drama are pretty good.
Rewatch Value:
I hardly rewatch dramas, but for those that enjoy rewatching and are bored or out of shows to watch, this drama seems nice to watch again.
Overall:
The acting and plot was good, the production was great, and the cast were all extremely good looking. What more can I say? This cute romance really is worth watching.

Not worth my time
Where do I start? The acting is pretty bad in this show. Add in the obnoxious dubbing and it was painful for me to get through. The female lead's character was absolutely horrible through the first 8 episodes or so - she was either stalking him, trying to seduce him, or pretending to get mad at him and stomping off. How she could think she could magically fix his psychological problems is beyond me - I thought her behavior would make it worse. The concept for the show was interesting, but again, I felt that the actors were wooden. The female lead did redeem herself in the last couple of episodes, which brought my rating up a star. But what was with the ending?!? After forcing myself to get through all the long episodes, the ending was rushed and abrupt. Was this review helpful to you?
