I'll start off that I purely watched this movie for Kim Min Gyu. Unfortunately, it wasn't really all that great. It had some pretty decent jump scares and the CGI was okay. Way better than some other Korean horror movies. The story was your regular story of students doing dumb things after they've been told not to be there and after reading the messed up stuff that happened in the theme park. No originality whatsoever. The acting left something more to be desired. Overall, I gave it a little above a 4 because some of those jump scares really got me. 'A' for effort.

This the lowest rating I have ever given to any drama or movie. So that pretty much sums it up.

A very typical plot. Group of teenagers in a haunted amusement park. The story is all over the places. It is hinting romance, a slice of life, psychological thriller, and horror all at once. And it just becomes a really hot mess.
None of the characters looked like they liked each other, so off the bat you are with characters that you feel no connection with.
The acting is okay. For me story always comes first. If the story got me hooked I can tell how the acting was based on it. But if it is a bad story not even great acting can save it. And it did not have that great acting portrayed by any of the actors.
I will not recommend it to anyone else. Waste of two and half an hour.

A group of people going to a haunted location is as unoriginal of a plot for a horror movie as possible. There isn't much to do to make it more unique, but it still can be made into an amazing horror. It all depends on the creativity of filming, setting, and execution. Sadly, we had none of it in this movie.

The mood of the movie is all over the place. We start with horror and cheap jump scares. Then we move to the introduction of the characters which had a strong slice of life and high school romance feel. With few horror elements, it felt more like a psychological thriller or a story about a girl that cannot deal with a loss and pressure put on her. Then we get back to horror. To put it simply, I have no idea what the production team wanted to make out of it - an entertaining horror movie with jump scares? Psychological horror about losing a friend? Why even add hints of romance? There are also way too many plotlines about ghosts: the friend, owner of the amusement park, a girl from the beginning. At the end, none of them is explained and explored enough for me to care.

Any horror having a group of friends as the cast needs a good chemistry between the characters. This one failed to convince me they even like each other. They did not seem like friends and I could not understand why they would want to hang out together. They needed a group of stereotypical characters, but did not care to explain why and how such different people even connect and befriend each other.

The acting was mediocre and at times over the top. The characters were so poorly written I wanted them to die before they even got to that haunted location. The reason for them to go back to the amusement park was not well explained and built into the story. They showed one scene of Woo Sung doing a live show on the internet and it was supposed to be enough for the setting. It was not.

Overall, boring and messy. Definitely a waste of time.

average, very average

this was an okay watch, but it was very slow at times and I think the story itself was lackluster. There wasn't any real connection or reason to care for any of the characters and I didn't find any of it scary whatsoever, and the sfx are no t exactly that good it takes away from the scares heavy. there's more that could have been done with it but I enjoyed myself, I'd say watch this with friends to get the most out of it in all honesty, not really something you should just enjoy on its own unless you're really bored or have nothing else to pick from. that's not to say it's bad though. it's an okay movie

I really didn't want to take a star away from this movie. It was really great! But I swear I was almost meant to not see this move. I have been trying to watch this movie for 4 days now and EVERY SINGLE TIME I started to watch it, something came up and I had to stop. Even in the middle of the night - something would come up and I would have to stop watching and take care of whatever was going on. But today - today I let nothing stop me. But it also wasn't exactly smooth sailing. -_- there were a lot of pause-watch-pause-watch moments, so I WILL be rewatching this very soon! Especially since I feel like I might have missed some things.

When I first heard about this movie and watched a preview, I was hooked. I have this odd obsession with 용마랜드 (Yongma Land), which I am guessing this movie is kinda based around? Not the story itself but the creepy "haunted" amusement park setting. But I mean... can we blame them?

I loved all the characters and I love how none of them were the same. It was literally a group of so many misfits that you would never guess would ever be friends. From the jock, most popular girl, the shy girl, the nerd, the guy everyone wants, the hyper kid. I loved seeing all of them together and being friends. It really wasn't expected and the charisma between them all was believable. It went against the typical nerds VS popular. I had no issues with any of the characters. Plus, you know it's a good movie when you even start liking the annoying preppy girl. Lol.

The only issues I had problems with - if you can even call it a "issue" if that.. I'm not sure who the surprise girl was and when she talked about the portal closing, it kinda threw me off and it didn't really explain what that meant. I mean given - when shes says it, of course you know but I was just kinda left with "how do you know and why is it closing *now*? ya know? I don't know. Hollywood logic I guess? Lol I look way to much into things like this.

While I didn't jump as much with this movie as I did some of the others, I still loved it and would recommend it to those looking for a scare. How can you not be? Some of the stuff that happens in this just made me want to "Kool-Aid Man" out my wall sometimes. haha

Can I talk about the ending for a second though? I didn't see that coming. From the start of the movie, I just KNEW I had it pegged. I just knew it was going to end like any other horror movie. Because they tend to end one of two ways... This one was like "lol bish, you THOUGHT!" So I give it hella props for making me go O_O at the end. Lol
