This took me by surprise. I didn't think it would hold my interest, partly because. although So Ji Sub is an excellent actor, he has never been a favorite of mine. But the combination of outstanding acting, excellent writing and spot-on direction turned this into an engaging story with characters it was easy to like and care about. There were ample laughs without it becoming a farce, and by the end of it I was eagerly anticipating each episode. It's a great balance of romance, espionage, humor and drama, And I can't say enough good things about the cast. Watch it of you want something that will not depress you and you will find yourself truly entertained.

I will keep this sweet and simple. When the poster for this drama came out i was expecting a dark spy/ political drama . HOWEVER this drama went beyond my expectations, with the perfect touch of comedy, action and drama it really deserves a Thank you. The whole cast did a great job, such a great job that I even fell in love with the villains. I would Absolutely recommend this drama to anyone who feels like laughing and feeling anxious at the same time.

Story:

I will not spoil it but the spy story mixed with the nanny story was a nice twist..... I personally would have like to see more spy action scenes e.g. fighting scenes.

Acting/Cast:

10/10 not a single person was lacking in their role, all portrayed their character in such a way that you will either love them or hate them.

Music:
Personally I can not remember much about the OST...maybe because I did not focus on this.. so I can't say much.

Overall:

it was epic

now if you watch it most people would agree with me it was worth the time, we get to see So Ji-sub as the dashing Kim Bon who is a spy and a babysitter, and thing get more fun when you add Kang Ki-young to the equation. If you had ever seen Kang Ki-young in a show he is always there to make the show more worthwhile to watch because he is the comic relief and he ain't the only one the other one is Son Ho Jun especially when he switches side to good and call Kim Bon (So Ji-sub) "brother" was extremely hilarious. The other characters also bring the show to life there is no extra drama, by far this was one epic and amazing drama hat off to the creator's actors, actresses, and staffs for creating this masterpiece

So...where's season 2? I badly need one.

This drama had a perfect mix of seriousness and comedy. I can't believe how much i enjoyed and laughed everytime the characters did something silly and unpredictable.
The action was good, but there wasn't a lot of romance and I somehow feel that we didn't really needed more of it. I mean,i was more focused on the missions and i didn't even think about the leads kissing or even hugging. This is a first in a drama. It was wrapped nicely and i wasn't mad at all.

Overall,it was a pleasant watch and one of the best dramas of 2018. 100% recommend!

While the romance isn't as much as I would've like it to be between the leads, I still like the drama overall. It has a good storyline and also slowly clear the HUGE misunderstanding from start to finish between Kim Bon and the other characters. The parent characters in the KIS and the little kids are what makes this drama very funny. You'll enjoy it even if there's not much romance between Bon & Ae-Rin.

Story: While the romance isn't as much as I would've like it to be between the leads, I still like the drama overall. It has a good storyline from beginning to end and also slowly clear the HUGE misunderstanding from start to finish between Kim Bon and the other characters. The story flowed at a good pace.

Acting/Cast: Who would've thought So Ji Sub can beat people up and be funny at the same time. Every character played their role fantastically. From the parent characters in the KIS and the little kids, which makes this drama very funny, to the evil villains whom you just want to hurt.

Music: Beautiful osts. Loved every song and have it in my music playlist.

Rewatch: I would rewatch it if I couldn't find another great case solving comedy like this one.

An undercover super charming watch !

I’m trying to fault the secret agent baby sitter drama that is Terius Behind Me and I’m really failing . I’m also trying to see if it’s worth a lower mark than 9 but it really isn’t .

This is such a tight watch with fantastic pacing oozing with subtlety.

It’s quite the grown up drama exploring grief , debt , parenting and grown up love that encourages and doesn’t infatuate. I found this drama to be such a wholesome watch that felt like a nice cup of chamomile tea .

It is also a spy drama but the plot point is not too dark or overwhelming and was done quite nicely .

The supporting cast , I found, really shines in this drama and the way their stories were woven into all the elements made the drama feel very well lived in and expertly directed .

Not a single actor to fault too ! Great chemistry abound with every component of the cast .

My only fault is that this drama really restrained itself because it would have been truly excellent. Otherwise , Terius Behind Me is not exceptional or entirely special but it is truly charming and worth a watch !

This show was very interesting, it kept me excited for the next week to come to watch a new episode. I liked all the characters. Kim bon was absolutely adorable with the twins, I was always looking forward to their scenes together. The KIS ladies (and the dude) were iconic.

The plot was engaging but some parts were kinda predictable such as who was the real villain.

The thing I was dissatisfied with was that the romance was minimal which was one of the things that kept me looking forward to see a new episode every week. I wanted to see the progress of their romance, it was going well but then it didn't go all the way...that was disappointing to be honest.

Well despite that, it's overall a good show and I recommend it. If you expect a lot of romance don't. But if you don't mind the lack of romance go ahead.

First, I actually chose this drama because I wanted to see so ji sub taking care of children. And because I'm curious about acting So Ji Sub in the action drama. Because JI chang wook usually did it and well known with his action's acting. It turns out, so ji sub did it really well and cool !! Dabong !! In Here, so ji sub as Kim Bon also shows his fatherhood figure. Not only that, kim bon is a spy with good fighting and full responsibility with a case that he is involved in. It would be amazing if have a husband like him who is very reliable and can do anything. Unfortunately, only one lack from this drama is romance. The romance is so intrinsic that there isn't even a hug or kiss scene huaaaaa ☹. This drama Starting from having the same wound because of losing a loved one in one ongoing case, finally bringing Kim Bon and ae rin into their respective worlds. Kim Bon who is on the run and suffering because of the failed incident and his girlfriend also died in it, still blames himself for that case. slowly, he begin to rise after he became Joon-Joon's babysitter. And Ae rin as a mother who must be left died by her husband as a victim and witness homicides became involved as a spy with the code name Alice help Terius a.k.a Kim Bon for revenge the injustice of her husband's death. This drama is also very fresh because it is full of comedy from ahjumma as a KIS organization, namely the Kings Castle Information System. Like the NIS organization on a small scale, namely mothers of kindergarten children.

In this drama, there are ae rin's scenes that make me really annoyed. She has a high curiosity that sometimes brings her into trouble. Really stupid.... Arghhhh!! but in the end, she can turn into a reliable spy. Tayingita.... There are also some tense scenes, especially when Kim Bon fought with the serial killer, namely “K” who is equally strong, then when Protocol's death scene.... It makes my heart stop the beat. I'm really afraid if Kim Bon will really die from the van explosion. Maybe he thought he has 9 lives like a cat. Previously, he also almost died from being caught and shot, but in the end, he jumped into the river. This drama ended with the completion of the king's bag case and the truth was revealed. It's like complete the whole puzzle. Finally, this case was resolved quite satisfactorily. From the start, I had a bad feeling about director Shim Woo Chul and my feeling was proved that he was the accomplice of the mastermind in this case. He and the presidential chief of staff were finally able to pay off all his crimes .. I was also quite amazed at this drama when this scene discussed the coronavirus even though at that time it was not booming because it was still in 2018.

The last word for you, Korean drama lovers like me. who are still looking for light drama, action, and romance. This drama is very, very entertaining and exciting. Thank you also to the cast and all of you who are involved in this drama for working hard with his amazing acting. So much worth it !!

Nice drama ,not at all boring ,I love KIS team I think every locality should have such team ,I think it will become the first step to control the crime ..Then I like those two kids ,they are so cute and their acting make them so cute ,perfect time to play mission impossible tune ,annyong song also good .But one think I don't understand why children never ask about their father in whole drama ...As well as their connectivity with their dad also not shown.
Lead actress did amazing work .
I waited till last episode to see love story between them but the drama end with another mission.
I think that there should be second season.
I love watching this drama though there is no such special in the story but the characters through their acting didnot make the drama bore.

So let me be completely honest with everyone, I was not a big fan of So Ji Sub before this but oh boy this drama made my mind to turn a complete 180 degree! I started watching it because I loved Jung In Sun in Eulachacha Waikiki and everyone should agree that she simply slays as a badass single mother.I hope I got a wife like her for real she is damn cute.

Now what makes this show so enjoying to watch:-
The hilarious scenes hold each and every episode together moulded efficiently with the seriousness of the plot.I laughed so much in all the scenes almost equivalent to Eulachacha Waikiki (the best korean sitcom ever).
The use of M.I. theme and one time the Matrix theme caused my stomach to ache due to laughter really.
The KIS vs NIS comparison is hilarious as hell and almost all the supporting characters will do something silly or smart that you could not stop laughing ,even a kidnapping scene was so hilarious that sometimes you will smile even in serious situations.
KUDOS to the screenwriter for such smartass interweaving of comedy in seriousness.
The cute scenes of So Ji Sub babysitting the 2 naughty kids are a delight to watch, some people can watch this drama for this only but beware in the last 4-5 episodes our beloved Joon-Joon duo is absent for most part.

Story:-Its fine and has enough suspense to keep you hooked though this show is not on Stranger level when it comes to the thrill part nor the action can be compared to The K2 despite it being a spy drama. But still So Ji Sub has definitely the physique of a NIS agent and the hand-to-hand combat scenes were okayish.Clearly the comedy rather than action is the strong pursuit of this drama. The characters were not layered as such mostly black or white except Jin Young Tae but that caused no harm as it was not a serious drama.

Music:- Good and apt soundtrack is used at right situations but the OSTs are not that addictive.(depends on you taste though)

Cast:- So Ji Sub slays his role of a badass handsome spy disguised as a babysitter and every moment with him shines!
Son Ho Jun despite playing a bad boy is the scene stealer as he is downright hilarious whenever he calls Terius "Brother" resulting in great bromance and he simply delivers the best punchlines.
Jung In Sun had great chemistry with both the guys but unfortunately we don't get any kissing scenes :-( but still it was refreshing to see .Also her comic timing is pretty cool and she is not annoying at all and is shown as a smart & strong woman actively moving the plot forward.
Kang Ki Young just had a spectacular 2018 cementing him as a dependable supporting character and as expected he is hilarious.
Sung Joo along with Im Se Mi were pretty decent as well. Shoutout to all the ahjummas in KIS which were the sole reason for me to look forward to every episode.

Rewatch Value:- Hell yeah! I m going to watch again especially for the comedy bits which were freaking hilarious.

Overall Verdict: Its the best comedy that I have seen after Waikiki and as a light hearted family drama its a fun bandwagon to be a part of.PEACE OUT

It was the right balance of comedy and action, with heartwarming interactions. The romance wasn't passionate, but a reciprocated concern for one another and understanding of each other's struggles; plus, the plot did not revolve around it, which I really appreciate. The story was not particularly exceptional, but it had well built suspense that carried it through the episodes.

The exceptions are where the writers took the characters and put them in usually unexpected roles. The Ahjumma intelligence system, for instance, was hilarious and sheer genius - the writers took your average, nosey neighbour and turned them to a gang of mothers (and a stay at home father) who exchange the slightest of suspicion in their elaborate network. If anything, these mothers, particularly Ae-Rin's friends, kept the show alive. Then the interactions between the twins and Terius, Terius's friendship with the stay-at-home dad and Son Hoo Joon, and AeRin and Terius were truly hearttouching.

The FL and ML were smart in their own ways. I loved Ae Rin's cleverness, actually. I hate it when writers purposefully dumbed down characters, which thankfully wasn't the case, except in understandable situations.

My complaint, which has prevented me from giving thus drama more than an 8, is neglecting AeRin and her children a grieving period. After her husband dies, the writers forget that his absence should result in a hole in the family. I get it: AeRin was being strong and around episode 11, we see her break down. But at least give us a hint that she was trying to pull herself together through the episodes before that. What's more, her children never ask for their father, and we aren't even shown that they have understood that he's gone. In my opinion, had they delved a little more into showing the loss a family goes through, the relationship between Kim Bon and AeRin's family would have had a stronger and more bittersweet taste. Conveniently forgetting to show the struggles of losing a loved one made me somewhat disattached to the characters. Delving into a character's emotion at the right time, even for a little moment, can add substance to a story. The writers lost a huge chance to use the potential of the drama.

The music was beautiful. Heck, most kdramas never fail to share a nice original soundtrack. Moreover, they chose the correct instrumental for most moments, adding to the experience.

I'm unsure about rewatching this. I reckon, to replay certain moments, I would think of watching bits and pieces of an episode, but that's about it.

This is a GREAT comedy/spy thriller! This drama has all the elements of a thriller (schemes, espionage, betrayal, action...) plus a good dose of comedy coming at you from all angles. Although some of the supporting characters seem burlesqued the cast did a great job making it fun to watch. This drama’s main themed is the crime thriller paired with comedy and a hinted romance. Every episode leaves the audience in a cliffhanger mode, all the way to the end which, although it’s a good ending, leaves one thinking of a second season. The plot on this drama is well thought and the antagonists are not given right away unless you have a kin eye for details and a good “flashback” memory. The cast was very good and the kids were excellent, making this a very entertaining drama. Enjoy it!
