Worth Watching?

Acting
I cannot comment if Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young managed to carry out their roles well as per the characters in the novel and comic since I have not read them. But they definitely have great chemistry between them as a couple and it shows in the drama. Being a romantic comedy, their expressions are funny at times to fit those light-hearted scenes. They don’t seem overdone and can elicit a laugh from me at the right moments.

For those loving and tender scenes, the love that they want to portray shines through naturally. I can feel it as I watch it as the acting makes it seems very real. A lot of kissing and bed scenes in dramas tend to look forced or stilted but you don’t get that feeling in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. In fact, the kisses may be what everybody is looking forward to watching because they just did them so well that one could feel their love and passion through the screen! I think the only other drama that manages to equal, if not surpass, their chemistry is Her Private Life in recent times.

Storyline
If you are looking for exciting plots and unexpected endings, then this drama is not for you. There is nothing creative or new in the plot construction. It is just a simple fairy tale romance kind of story with a wealthy and handsome boss falling in love with his pretty secretary.

Instead of the plot, what should interest you is the way their relationship develops. It is the courtship process that makes the whole drama incredibly sweet and romantic and this is the main selling point of What’s Wong With Secretary Kim.

My Verdict
For this What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim review, I would say that it is definitely worth watching, especially if you are a romance drama fan. It only has 16 episodes which is just about right for a romantic journey that feels neither too rushed or too dragged out. Not many romantic comedy dramas can pull you along for the ride like this one does. Because the acting is so natural and the love between Young Joon and Mi So feels so real on screen, it will leave you feeling warm with all that sweetness.

So, watch it for the on-screen chemistry between Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young that will make your heart flutter. Listen to the dialogue too because some of the things that they say to each other during those tender moments will just melt your heart. And of course, the kissing scenes that take the drama to a whole new level. Trust me, you wouldn’t want to miss that!

The Kissing Scenes In WWWSK
Young Joon and Mi So shared quite a few kisses in the drama. But the ones listed below are definitely the hotter and steamier ones. While some may see them as too steamy for prime time dramas, somehow they don’t come across as “dirty” because as the story progresses, you can overwhelmingly feel the love that they have for one another. Hence, the kissing and bed scenes ended up being more about love than just merely physical acts. The intimacy is off the charts and it might even feel as though you are intruding on their private moments while watching those scenes!

These are the episodes with hot kissing scenes in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim:-
The first kiss in Episode 8. This is the scene when Mi So confessed her feelings to Young Joon. It’s a very tender moment for viewers to savor.
The closet kiss in Episode 9. Young Joon was made to hide in the closet when Mi So’s sisters came visiting. He was naturally angry, but the make-up kiss after the sisters left will leave you feeling sweet.
The couch kiss in Episode 12. This kiss happened when Young Joon said to Mi So that he wanted to be honest with his feelings. You can expect an intimate kiss here with deep emotions invested. But be prepared to be disappointed because they got interrupted half-way through by a phone call.
The bed scene in Episode 13. This is the hottest and steamiest scene in the whole drama. Mi So, who has been holding back, decided it’s time to spend the night with Young Joon. I can only say watch this alone and blush all the way through! And don’t forget to check out the morning after in episode 14. The sight of Mi So in Young Joon’s white dress shirt is a sight not to be missed!
There is also a kiss in episode 15 when Young Joon proposed to Mi So and a wedding kiss in episode 16. These scenes have a touch of tenderness to make your heart melt and craving for more!

So, go and watch What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim now and then feel free to come back here to drop your comments about this romantic drama.

A MUST WATCH SERIE !

I think this is one of my favorite drama ever and I'll definitely watch it again. I liked the story the most, then the acting because the chemistry between all of the actors was awesome not just the two mains, also the little touch of comedy was so funny that I rewinded some of the situations xD.
"SPOILER ALERT".. SO The beginning was very well narrated, there was the omg why she wanted to quit, then slower things started to get clear on her reasons. What I also liked was that for once the plot wasn't about a breakup which is typical when the guy is rich and she's not. I also would like to talk about about how the characters were well produced and presented to us, especially his brother and his parents and how it sort of clarifies his personality and why he only believes in himself. And the best thing was probably the last episode when we got a whole new "what's wrong with secretary Kim" but with a different situation. Finally, I really enjoyed and mostly we got so many romantic moments at the end on how each character got its finally too.

The name sounded cringy to me at first. However, after knowing Park min young and Seo joon are the casts, it got me interested. Most of min young's drama are good. I was happy how the story were carried through. There are many dramas those slack off toward the middle/end or it brags. I loved the straightforward, funny yet intellectual character. Some characters (note: not all) in drama don't take things seriously or completely serious, but I liked the balance in this drama. There are problems in every drama. What make me interested is how they deal with it. I definitely liked the way they dealt and i was glad that she confessed her feeling at that moment, not later. My cons of this drama is very personal, that's why idt it's necessary to mention it.
If you are looking for a unique boss, employee kdrama romance, this is a good one. It's different from rich and poor problem. I definitely recommend this one. I laughed a lot. It's entertaining, yet has story.

...

the production was good, I can't complain .
I also say that the performance was incredible, it would be a sin if I complained.

I love the actors, I loved the characters.

Of course, not everything is perfect, I can't lie, but what a drama that doesn't have a single flaw.

So in conclusion, I recommend...

I say it's worth watching, maybe it's bad for some, but for me it was good.

This is just my opinion, you better watch it and have your own opinion.

I don't know what to say, because I think everyone has their own opinion.

Where can I find my Secretary Kim ?

Grown man blubbing like an idiot here 😭
What a joyful and wonderful show - I didn't want it to end but it was so well contained. The premise reminded me of the film, Two Weeks Notice with Hugh Grant (Park Seo-Joon's character - Lee Young-Joon) and Sandra Bullock (Park Min-Young's character Kim Mi-So/Secretary Kim) as his loyal exec secretary of nine years.
What unfolds is a charming and heart-warming story and in the classic KDrama way, it has an intricate subplot.
It addition to that the supporting cast got a really decent amount of screen time and it allowed the viewer to both root for them as well and find out more about their story. I felt they did that really well. In fact (spoiler alert) one the couples that forms would make for a great spinoff or web drama.
My only negative is that it follows the cliched rich guy/poor girl love story, but look past that and you see a real journey for Mi-So in finding her path in life, learning to say no and be happy. Sometimes I felt that Mi-So bent over a bit too easily when I think she was actually in the right and Seojoon should have stopped whining and apologies.
Having said that, this could have been lost in translation as I was relying on captions.
Finally can we take a moment to appreciate all the Maserati's driven in this show :)
I'd happily watch this again - it filled me with warmth and joy. Now, where can I find my own Secretary Kim 💜

I honestly liked this drama a lot. It's a very well known cliche - the rich, handsome and powerful protagonist realizes that he can't live without the beautiful, smart girl when she wants to leave his company. When you start watching the drama and seeing the plot development, you realize it's not just that. That's more to the story than we known. And while in other romcoms with this kind of story, the prota usually is very arrogant and treats her pretty badly, in this case he's still arrogant, but doesn't mistreats her, specially when trying to make her stay.

It was a very trending drama while aired, but a lot of people didn't like how the story went. I honestly don't know why. While the last 2 episodes doesn't add anything to it, not in a good or bad way, all the rest of the chapters went really well. The romance is charming - you are always rotting for them, cheering for his ideas, respecting her values, loving the support cast, wanting to know more about how they meet in the first place.

But it's a romcom. As as a romcom it's fantastic. I laughed, I loved, and I would watch again when needed a nice and happy drama, without all the melodrama some romcoms sometimes inserts in the middle of the episodes. And honestly, there's 2 hot scenes that gah! awesome!

This drama is really good. While sometimes it is over the top (but honestly, which k-drama isn't?), it doesn't have any unnecessary plot twists. Instead it has good, consistent writing and character development with a satisfying end.
All the characters, not just the main ones, have a well developed personality and sometimes you like one of them even more than the mains (president Park was just doo adorable).
All in all, I would always recommend to watch and have watched it twice at this point. It got my best friend into K-drama as well.

The storyline is kinda cheesy for me but it still worth giving a shot. The storyline was nice I wasn't expecting it to be this nice. though it was an easy guessing storyline. I could just tell that what is going to be next to it in the next scene. And as for the main climax, it was epic. I was also confused at first that what's going but thing falls into places as they were going to be.

At first, I was annoyed that the main male character Lee Young Joon is highly narcissistic then I expect. For few starting episodes, I just want him to stop being narcissistic and start thinking about others but anyways he came around. As for the other character, I don't like Bong Se Ra she is just annoying. But actors did their best to show the actual character which given to them.

Music was dead on spot, where it was needed.

Rewatching material.

Overall I loved it.

Rather simple rom-com with surpisingly dark moments, fails to keep up the pace over all episodes

Charming and interesting beginning, it's also nice that they didn't feel the need to take in an overdramatic break-up in the middle, however, the ending episodes therefore are quite slow and dragged out, with the office scenes repeating and nothing new coming. It's especially weird how the two seem extremely secretary-boss like even in the final episodes, their chemistry is there in a form, but the development in their story doesn't always translate to the way they act around each other and in a way it seems like, despite all the hardships they faced, their relationship still is quite shallow and not of much substance.

If you want a hype and straightforward love story I recommend it,the chemistry between two main characters are unique and cute in its own way specially Park Seo Joon's acting is really amazing in every single way.The writing of the drama is quite disappointing because the main plot is rushed and I'm amazed that they could bring more story than the plot itself although a bit of it was kinda dull. The story of what happened in them in their childhood is summarized in just 1 ep and handled quickly that I was not expecting but I appreciate that and I'm amazed how the story is pure, sincere and special How many kissing scene do they have and specially that bed scene that really blows up everyone.I ship every couple in the drama.Summarized of all; the story and the drama itself made me laugh, excited, angry, sad, cry because of the actors did very well delivering it in a way that you can really felt what's going on.I'm really contented with the ending of the story.
