After a long time of watching this, and finishing it, I am finally writing a review of this drama. here we go:

Story: 8/10
Basically a woman who is probably in her late 30's who wants a divorce from her rich husband, who is committing adultery. Then she goes on and try to pursue her dream and do what she wants: create a rock Madonna band with other ahjumma friends. Then she meets a guy who also helps her and the story goes on as she struggle with the problems with the divorce case and the issues within the band.

Acting/Cast: 8/10
The acting was okay in here. But the thing that helped was the characters of the story. Especially Seol Hee. In the beginning we were shown a woman both weak and strong. A woman who obviously was not shy to show her miserable crying face to her husband, trying to make him to divorce her indirectly. We are shown someone who is hanging by an edge, keeping her composure though she is struggling deep inside. & btw, her fashion. Then we have the husband and the woman he is having an affair with. They didn't shine that much in the story as the main character, but they did a good job at not being shameful at what they were doing and making the audience hate them. Though the husband did finally serve a purpose toward the end a bit. They we have the other guy, Tae Hyun, which I don't even know if he is actually needed in this drama. Like c'mon, especially the ending serve no purpose in him being in here. THough we know that he is supposedly the love interest for the main girl in the present, .. or in the near future. Then other ahjummas in the band. Just think: Sunny. Yeahh.

Music: 9/10
The best thing of the show. Really. I love the Kim Jun Eun version of 'Million Roses' & 'Genie'. I might be bias since I love rock. It was interesting to see that the band being form and the efforts they put in for the music.

Rewatch Value: 5/10.
Why a 5? Because the story is something I can only go through once. Also, I disliked the ending. Seems like it was rushhed though I rather not go there.

Overall: 7//10.

Well, this drama is quite difficult to describe. I will start with what I enjoyed about this drama first and then I will talk about the negative aspects.

POSITIVE ASPECTS
Firstly, I really liked the cast. In my opinion, the authors chose very good actors and the main female character was represented by Kim Jung Eun who is a great actress. This was my first time I heard of her and I will definitely watch some other dramas with her. To be honest, I started to watch this drama just because of Lee Joon Hyuk as I liked him in City Hunter. He didn't disapoint me even though his role wasn't so big as I expected. Overall, the cast was outstanding.

Another thing which I really enjoyed was, of course, the music! I am kind of rock music fan and I don't fancy dance and typically pop music. So this drama was right for me! They made plenty of cover versions of other Korean songs which were great. The song I enjoyed the most was Genie (originally by SNSD). This version is just amazing! If you have time, you must definitely listen to it! The singers are good as well. The most beautiful songs was To You (Dear Music), which has beautiful lyrics.

Another positive aspect are the dialogs. They are not stupid and makes sence mostly every time. This is always something I appreciate about dramas as I hate stupid dialogues and dramas.

Many people critised the ending but I liked it. It was quite realistic and nothing was overdone. I was waiting for one moment like other people as well, however, in the end, I am glad that it din't happen because I might have been disappointed.

NEGATIVE ASPECTS
The problem with this drama was kind of the story line. It seemed to me like I was watching 3 dramas at the same time. First part is about a divorce, then about some law stuff and the third part is about "ahjumma" band and music itself. Personally, I enjoyed the story but just didn't fit well together. I would love to watch a drama with a law theme but it didn't fit into this drama very well. That would be the biggest problem with this drama, I guess. The music part wasn't as big as promised from the plot summary and many people felt a bit down after reaching the final episode.

Another negative aspect was like in other dramas, not realistic scenes. If you watch this drama, you will see quite ridiculous scenes from the court, but it might be just my opinion.

To sum up, this is not an outstanding drama but if you want to watch something a bit realistic with great music and cast then just WATCH THIS. I enjoyed it!

Tolerable short drama focused on a kind heart girl who grows into a woman, her sidekicks and of course evil in-laws. This is a great Mothers Day drama dealing with independence, adult relationships and discovery of oneself. If you are looking of romance this is NOT for you.
Story: 2 complimenting story-lines 1) kind-heart girl married into a hellish family for love. She starts living a nightmarish - suffocating existence since she married "up." 2) ajumma band with 4 women who simply need their rock music to gain fresh air into their lives.
Acting: lead actress is always seems to play roles exaggerating her acting, so she was OK. The sidekicks felt more honest in their portrayal. As for the leading men - neither were appealing nor striking actors.
Music: major theme of drama - mild rock. Nothing wormy nor memorable.

Overall: Always searching dramas with more mature actors (who can act), solid writing - production story-lines with meaning.. Since this dealt with Ajummas, I kept watching. Was I disappointed? NO, Did I get something out of this? Yes - A pleasant and tolerable drama if you're looking for something that's a welcome departure from HS or childish antics.

Story: 8.5/10
The main story of this is about a woman in her early 30s, if we read in between the lines of the script, who gets sick of her wealthy husbands neglect and her mother-in-law being a stuck up cow. She files for a divorce whilst trying to create a rock band with all her ahjumma friends.
I liked the story and the ending, I know a lot of people who watched this didn't like the focus on the law side of things. It does focus more on the band nearer the end, but the divorce and other law related things take up a huge chunk of the story line. Another thing many didn't like in this story is the lack of romance in the drama. There is a bit but it is ultimately cut out. This is difficulty not your normal drama. It is perhaps the first Korean drama I've seen which doesn't carry the message "Love makes everything better and will give you eternal happiness." It also enforces the idea of keeping your morals and staying humble, over the power of money and fame. It's a story which although carries k-drama traits, deviates from the normal run of things. Which is why I like it. It's not for everyone if you go into it expecting an entire drama about music and love. It's a story about women with careers and children fighting for a piece of happiness in their lives..

Acting/Cast: 8
I'm gonna talk about the characters which stood out for me instead because I don't know any of these actors :)
First of all we have Soel Hee, the leading lady. Probably the one who goes through the most character development in this drama. She starts off as a meak kitten under her mother-in-law and turns in to a classy, sassy tiger. She can be naive at points - to the point of being almost stupid - but she keeps her morals and standards. And again, not your typical lead as she is actually a strong female lead - something you don't normally see in a k-drama.
There are the other three members of the band Soo In, a failing music producer; Ah Reum, a young mother; and Fa Ja, a mother and a sales person. They all have their issues which they have to deal with as well as being in the band. Fa Ja was my favourite out of the three purely because her husband and she were the cutest things on earth. She had annoying moments but the cuteness made up for it.
Soel Hee's ex-husband had more chemistry with her at times then the lead guy did, which is a shame. I do admit that although I like the fact we have free independent women, I wish there was a teeny bit more romance between the lead male and lady.. it was a bit anti climatic.
Other characters I can think of? The good lawyer (who helps her divorce) was a total gem, the mother-in-law was a complete b****, the rival female lead was completely delusional and the sister.. what happened to the sister? She disappears never to return... that was odd.

Music: 10/10
I downloaded the entire OST before episode 10. It's beautiful. It's played a lot but you don't get tired of it. This version of 'Million Roses' is my new favourite song.

Rewatch Value: 5/10
Not because it's a bad drama, but just because I'm not one to rewatch shows very often.. I'd replay all the music.. does that count?

Overall: 9/10.
It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it. Don't expect a huge amount of romance, but the strong female lead and lack of emphasis on love is refreshing for a k-drama. Many say the ending is a disappointing but I disagree, it's realistic and humbling. Awesome drama worth watching just because of the music either ways :3

..

My least favorite drama from Kim Jung Eun. The music was fine but I couldn't stomach anything else, especially Hwa Ja's loud cringiness. The drama probably had the most boring divorce case in drama history. Would be better if it focused strictly on the music.
