Fun easy watch
The drama "I hear you" is a fun and easy watch. Perfect for nights when you just want to lay down in bed and not follow some complex storyline. It's filled with lots of sweet moments and the fl is a very cute character. It was fun to watch her chase her dreams and fall in love. While I did enjoy my first viewing; I would not rewatch just because for me it was nothing monumental. The conflict towards the end of the series felt a little rushed and unnecessary. I am however happy with the end result just not the execution. I LOVE a happy ending, the delivery was just a little off.Was this review helpful to you?
Quite good CDrama
Firstly, i chose this tile in Netflix due to not-lenghthy, not cdrama typically. I also chose this after listening to the lines, its simple and good to support my chinese learning. Story is cliche, i can guess the ending as well as the character development, although the characters professions are unique ones. But, the female lead (erduo) , male lead (shuwei), and female sides (lizi, erduo mom) are possessing good acting skills, the chemistry among them are real, although in the story there was some "too good to be true" scenes. The character development is well executed, as there were not so sudden click between the leads. Their chemistry is the most i like! Was this review helpful to you?
Its subtle yet enjoyable, kudos to the cast , a job well done to the director. I wish for a season 2

It's good to pass the time, you won't feel the urge to rush to the next episode, but if you're looking for a warm, light hearted drama with no fuss, and brings a smile to your face while you relax, this is one to consider.

I loved the cast, but the story wasn't very natural.
BACKGROUND INFO-------------------------------The drama is about two young adults who are joined reality TV shows and met there. They had to form a fake relationship the promote themselves in the public eye. The male lead is from a family of musical artists, with a distant personality. The female lead is from an ordinary family, with a more upbeat and slightly clumsy personality. They realize they have common interests and knowledge, and eventually fall in love. But they both have their dreams to pursue, and careers to obtain. (Watch the drama to see how their relationship progresses!)
STORY--------------------------------------------------
In my headline, I said that the story wasn't very natural. What I meant was that there isn't a proper confession, and the leads just suddenly loved each other at one point. The love story starts from a fake romance to promote public view to real love. I think that part was portrayed fairly well in the drama. But I would like to see more of how they started loving each other, and how their relationship progresses after they become a real couple. With that, I give the story an 8.0.
ACTING/CAST----------------------------------------
Many people love Zhao Lu Si (Rosy) and Wang Yi Lun (Riley), and they are perfect in a drama together. The story is what prevented me from giving this drama a higher rating, but it would be great if these two starred in a new drama with a slightly better storyline. The acting is pretty good, but the male lead character seemed like a stereotype no-emotion male lead. That also kind of brought down the value of the story. But the cast is great and the acting was very spot on.
MUSIC--------------------------------------------------
The music was good, and really suited the drama. But the only music there was, was the intro and outro music. Which I expected more songs since this drama is about sound and instruments.
REWATCH VALUE-----------------------------------
Due to the lack of sense in the story, I wouldn't completely watch this over, unless you feel like it. I would definitely rewatch a few scenes though.
OVERALL----------------------------------------------
Overall a very friendly drama, doesn't affect too much of your emotions, but you may feel touched. I think this drama deserves an 8.0. Very nice job, and hope to see the two in a different drama again. (Right now you may have trouble finding all the episodes to watch on YouTube, but if you have Netflix then things are easier. There was some sound problems on a few subtitled episodes, but there is not problem with the unsubbed episodes.)

Opposite attract
I would like to point out that the male actor's portrayal in the drama was unconvincing and lacked emotion, which made it difficult for me to connect with his character. His cold attitude was justified only by his supposed genius, which is a shallow and stereotypical approach to character development. As a viewer of romantic dramas, I expect more depth and sincerity from the actors.Furthermore, the plot was engaging until the point where the female lead decided to abandon their relationship for the sake of studying in Japan, which seemed like a contrived and unnecessary conflict. Long-distance relationships are challenging, but not insurmountable, and the writers could have explored this theme in a more nuanced way.
Leaving someone stranded at the airport is a cowardly and immature act. Such young adult dramas are usually watched by teenagers and young adults and do not depict the right way to conduct oneself in real life. It is important to demonstrate maturity and responsibility in our actions and decisions.
Lastly, the ending was unsatisfactory and left many unanswered questions. The appearance of an old man and a violinist (?) who knew the female lead and the male lead's sudden arrival in Japan seemed forced and poorly executed. While the ending was technically a happy one, it felt rushed and unresolved.
Despite these flaws, I still enjoyed the drama, mainly because of Rosy Zhao's exceptional performance.

So recently I’ve finish watching “I hear you” and although I was excited to watch it at first, I found it to be pretty boring as the story progress. Honestly, it’s kinda cliché. The whole contract love thing is too much. It’s the same old same old, they signed a contract, hate at first and then fell in love. I don’t know if it’s just me but i seen those kind of plot very often. Not to mention the first half of the drama, the main leads seem very distant. However, I must give credits for the casting. They played their role well.
I wish that there are more scenes between Bei Er Dou played by ZHOU LU SI and Le Tian played by ZHANG JIONG MIN.
I mean it’s not bad but I am over this kind of drama.

No Holds Barred Roast Review - I Hear You (could have done so much better)
So this is one of those "forced to become a couple fake couple becomes real" trope shows, where we get an unlikely couple entering into a "fake" relationship because of the female lead's best friend, producer of a dating show called "Love In Progress" and the male lead's cousin, the production company director. The concept is predictable, so we know what to hope for (that they fall in love). What this show does really well is show the toxic culture of fandom in China. The series would have worked had it had a better script (parts are retarded), Characters (some are annoying), acting (inconsistent) or more realistic violin playing. So let's start the roast:-The violin scenes - I only watched this drama because I was expecting violin music and a good love story. Thanks to watching too much TwoSet Violin on Youtube, I was COMPLETELY disgusted by how unrealistic the violin playing was. The fingering was off, and the bowing had zero reflection to the music. ARGH!!! I guess I'd better stick to The Devil's Violinist if I want to see realistic violin performances. Sad sighs.
Bei Er Duo (Rosy Zhao) - Female lead is a bimbo who relies on looking cute and pouting as her primary way to get along in life. The character doesn't try very hard and is a loser because of it. The male lead actually encourages her to go "all in" if she wants to achieve her dreams. The character is annoying but FL's acting is sub par and she's completely forgettable.
Ye Shu Wei (Riley Wang) - his character is the stoic hero whose heart gets melted. This worked most of the show as he was not required to show much emotion, but honestly his range is limited so he comes across as wooden. There are many stoic male leads that CAN act, the most recent one I've seen was the guy who played Captain Ri Je Hyeok in Crash Landing On You. Please, Riley, I think you're pretty handsome when your hair is done right but you need more acting lessons. Shout Out - His character is Mr. Piggyback ride. He gave so many piggyback rides ALL the time, he must be the #1 Most Piggyback Rides given Male Lead I've ever seen.
Yu Sheng (Yuan Hao) - his character is a playboy but at least the actor is pretty good.
Tang Li (Gratitude Dai) - her character was the playboy's taken for granted doormat until she decided to choose love for herself. #Girlpower, she's tied for best acting in this show.
Le Tian (Zhang Jiong Min) - tutored by the female lead he's the obligatory Friend Zone guy.
Bei Er Duo's Mother (Tian Miao) - she's the one you love to hate. Unfortunately every Asian will recognize some aspects of the judgmental moms like her in real life. The actress is convincing, and tied for best acting with Tang Li.
Mars, The Italian - he's the best written character in the series and qualifies as the Ideal Boyfriend for many reasons. A rival Italian violin maker, he makes us laugh with his misunderstandings of Chinese idioms, but damn, who wouldn't love a guy who's TRYING so hard?? When Tang Li tells him the meaning of the idiom is pretty girls who are kind will have a lot of men chasing them, he asks innocently "Oh, you mean, like you?" My daughter and I both gasped and I swear my heart skipped a beat. Now THAT Is how you successfully execute a pick up line, best one I've seen in many years. I can't find much about who the actor is but his Mandarin is pretty good, he does end up winning Tang Li with his love and sincerity so that part of the plot actually worked really well. I mean, Tang Li stopped being taken for granted and married someone who actually loves her. I wanted them together and they had a beautiful wedding. If it wasn't for this couple, this series would have had a rating 2 stars less.
The fashion - some really quite seriously questionable outfits from a fashion sense. Please, get more budget or sponsors as some of the clothes look like project Runway ran out of time reject clothes that got trashed by the judges, and that's why the outfits are asymmetrical and look poorly finished. The only good costumes were all the ones in the Maid Cafe especially the cosplay ones, at least they got THOSE ones right.
Overall, if the plot, characters, violin playing or even costumes had been better, this might have been a much more enjoyable series. I was disappointed.

Vague ending
I really liked the story and the way the romance slowly developed. The last few episodes were really the only drawback. I get she wanted him to follow his dreams too. What makes little sense is the leaving him at the airport and separating from him in such a confusing and silly way. I get they are young and many chinese dramas make a big thing about sacrificing for the ones you love, but it was unnecessary in this story. The big sacrifice would really only need to be dating long distance for two years. Instead she gives a speech about dreams, gives him back the ring, doesn't break things off, but sneaks away at the airport taking his ticket and boarding pass. A talk saying "hey it's only two years, we can facetime and visit each other while we both do what we need to, then talk about getting married when we've finished" would have sufficed. Finish off with some scenes showing them talking on the phone or him visiting her in japan, then wedding in two years, etc. That would makr the most sense based on the characters actions and behaviors throughout the drama, not this weird and ambiguous ending. Was this review helpful to you?
The cast had wonderful chemistry with each other. Not only were the leads great together they had memorable moments with the secondary characters. The relationship between the female lead and her bestfriend, was so well written and fun to watch that I wish the drama had incorporated it more. There is also an interesting secondary romantic relationship involving the two lead's bestfriends that was very interesting, but had an unsatisfactory development.
I can't recommend this one, but if your like me and don't mind fast forwarding when you get bored, the actors are worth the effort.

THE VIOLIN PLAYING LOL
my friends said it was cringe but i personally really liked it. the only bad part was the violin playing. it was so bad but so funny. it was like they didnt even try to hide it. still love tho :) the romance between them was so cute. i wished the uncle and erduo's best friend ended up together because that dude she actually ended up with just didnt fit in my opinion. at least she was happy?? also saw someone say erduo wasn't pretty but shes actually so pretty i dont know what they were on about. i loved both of the actorsWas this review helpful to you?

I watched this drama only because of Zhao Lu Si. I really like her acting. But for this drama, I feel this drama is not suitable for me. I'm confused what makes this drama weird and less interesting. The acting of the cast is quite good even though their chemistry is not that great, in my opinion. After watching a few episodes I watched, I felt the cut scenes were not good and didn't connect well. Many scenes are unnecessary and forced. The story is light and doesn't have much conflict, which makes the drama even more boring. As for acting, I've always liked FL's acting. ML's acting is good enough but I feel ML and FL's chemistry is not there. The acting supporting cast is good but average.
Besides that, I really didn't like the ending of this drama. Like, well, just like that. In the final episode there is an added conflict but the resolution is very fast and meaningless. It should have ended smoothly but because of a conflict that shouldn't be meaningful it made the ending weird.
Even though I didn't like it, I watched it until the end because I hoped the story would get better, but it actually disappointed me. But that's okay, as a spare time filler.
