This is the love story of a virgin book editor Tsukishiro who has never been in love. She is assigned to an author (Kagaya) who can't write love stories. How they fall for each other and how they handle the situation is portrayed in this drama. Tsukishiro's colleague Mochizuki has a secret crush on Tsukishiro but have never had the courage to profess his love. He sees Kagaya as his potential competetor. Mochizuki is your sweet gentle second lead who takes care of the girl when she needs someone the most. Here the main lead Kagaya isn't that much of a jerk he seems to be, so you kind of ship Tsukishiro with both of them. My inclinination was more towards the main lead, but I do not mind if Tsukishiro ends up with Mochizuki either. Characters like Nanase isn't fully developed in the drama and I wish Nanase had more screen time.
This is one of the few dramas which I wish had more episodes than just 8 . I have neither watched the anime nor read the manga(I am planning to read the manga today.). So I cannot compare how true the live action is to the manga.
I liked the subtle way the love story developed in this drama. I need more of Tsukishiro and Kagaya. Completed all 8 episodes in just one go. That's not enough for me, going to read the manga and watch the anime now. That's what this drama does to you. It leaves you wanting for more.
Give this a try, it is a short sweet love story. There's definitely scope for a season 2.

Starting is good .The lead actress is struggling to achieve a place in their life and she got a chance to prove herself that she can do what for she was working since a long time .In this way entry of hero in her life who was shown as womanizer ,generally somebody hate to meet such man but she had shown no reaction and fall for him ,he changed for her but again avoid her in return told to her that he was not mr. Right of her life . Still she followed him ,pursued him though many time he disrespect her ..He had a past because of that he can't love someone so he decided to live a life or pretend to live a life as people thought about him .. actually his character shown as a spoil one . At one scene he accepted her and something happened he went back to lady and said to her that she knew him better than anyone else so actually what he wants from his life god knows and at last he send a apology letter to her and after reading she ran to meet him and drama was over ..The ending was incomplete . Totally boring one not liked it.

Just waste of time.
The story starts great but by the end of the episode 1, cringe moment starts. ML looks and is a Playboy and FL trying to be an aspiring editor. Excel in her job and she likes MLs first novel. And then she thinks she is in love with him. And it a starts to get annoying. Random shi*t is added. A journalist comes and gets to know all his past and questions him but don't know why she smirks as if she was there for some revenge?? Why show it randomly like that if it's not concerned.Good things about this show is
*SL
*Her colleagues supported her when she was going through rejection
*She giving up on it by the end of the drama.
The rest is all just bs.

Too short
Drama you are too cruel. After watching this I can't help but ask 'What happened next?'Episode 1 was exciting and seemed to promise a healing story. This remained a promise until the last scene. You feel that a good thing is going to happen but you don't actually see it happen.
The ML and SML were cute but it was Aoi Morikawa's performance that carried this show. Watching her was like the watching an anime character come alive. She's totally believeable as a woman being awakened to love.
The ost sounded great. The last song has such an uplifting vibe that you feel like everything's gonna be ok.

Shot and sweet story.
Bungaku Shojo ড্রামাটি short and sweet টাইপের। আমি অনেক উত্তেজিত ছিলাম, কিছু সিনে Shirota Yu এতো মিষ্টি করে কথা বলে যে , আমি তার প্রেমে পড়ে গিয়েছি । Shirota Yu as Kanoko Tsukishiro

Good premise, characters well developed but has a typical soft Jdrama ending
8/10 is my rating. This is a 2018 Japanese Romantic Drama with 8, 24 minute episodes. Also known under the titles "Literary Virgin" and "A Virgin of Literature".First I provide a unique synopsis then review
Synopsis
8/10 is my rating. Kanoko Tsukishiro (Aoi Morikawa) is an editor of literature for a prestigious publishing company that edits and publishes books for some of the top authors. She is a relitively new editor, looking to make her name in her field. She has always loved books and one of her favorite authrs is Saku Kagaya (Yu Shirota) who is currently known for writing mystery books. When Kanoko is assigned to be Saku's editor, she could not be more happy. Although he writes mystery, his original book, which made her fall in love with his work, was a romance. In fact Kanoko, who has never been in love herself at 26 years old, says her first love was the male character in Kanoko's romance book. Saku is still very popular but has hit a bit of a lull in his career and Saku is convinced he can write that next great book in the romance genre. With the goal of helping this greata author write a book you can "cuddle up with", she approaches Saku with much excitement. But Saku turns out to be a playboy who flits from one romantic interlude to the next. Having Kanoko near Saku greatly disturbs one of her work seniors, Chhiro (Masaki Nakao) who is secretly in love with the refreshingly innocent Kanoko. Can Kanoko get Saku's attention long enough to get him to write that next great novel? What is she to do when she feels her own heart stirring for the first time over the difficult to work with Kanoko?
Review
8/10 is my rating. Like Japanese dramas can be at times, this is a bit more risqué than the usual Korean dramas I watch. That being said, it does not show as much skinship (physical contact) as others I have seen with similar content. It is not a new premise, woman meets man, they do not originally seem interested in each other or compatible but slowly fall for each other. But it was entertaining watching a woman, who is a virgin still in her mid twenties, dealing with a man who is a Cassanova. It was good, kept me engaged and was overall a happy story. The ending was happy but soft in that it was not completely wrapped up. I would not seek it out to watch again because I like well wrapped endings. But for those that want a relatively quick romance, like any of the actors, or simply enjoy this type of premise, it is worth the watch.
Spoilers
The romance never fully took off for me. There were some teasers where they would seem to be getting close then something would happen to disrupt them fully getting together. For such a relatively short series thre was a lot of character development which made it even more frustrating to not see the full outcome for the characters. There were multiple love triangles going on with all the main characters and some resolution with some but not with others.
In the end it seemed Saku confessed his feelings for Kanoko through a piece of literature he sent to her publishing company, and she rushed to reunite with him because of what he said in the literature, but it ended there. That is why I said it is a soft ending. We didn't get to hear much of what he said that had Kanoko so hopeful for their reunion. I don't like things being left for my imagination, tell me the story.
The chemistry was there, the characters were developed well, the premise was intersting, and it just fell short of completing the story. It could have been a really good romance but those flaws made it more of a just slightly above average one.
#AnInnocentWomanofLiterature #AVirginOfLiterature #LiteraryVirgin. #MasakiNakao. #YuShirota. #AoiMorikawa.

The Story overall had an interesting Concept.
I mostly started watching this Drama, because of the "book aspect" of it. I want to be a Novelist when I'm older so I think that's the reason I started watching it.
Let me just say this. I think this drama really had potential. But the story just wasn't that great. The concept of it is good though and I would definitely give it another shot of the story was just a bit more enjoyable ;)
I don't know about you, but I don't like it when the main male lead is a Playboy. But that's just my opinion. I didn't finish this, but since it's based on a shoujo manga. They definitely got together in the end.
I only watched 2 episodes. I felt like the story was missing something. It's like I watched an episode, but just felt kinda empty. Like there was nothing drawing me towards the story. I think if you watch the first 1 or 2 episodes and it still doesn't really draw you in. Than it's not worth watching.
*Acting*
I thought the acting was ok. But it was nothing amazing.
*Music*
I think that the music really has an effect on the vibe of the drama. So I liked that they used "clair de lune" and other classical piano pieces. Some how the music really fit the theme of the drama. So I did like the classical music they used, but the rest was average
*Rewatch Value*
I personally dropped this title and even if I finished it, I wouldn't rewatch it again.
