Good series with sad or bad ending
Basically most of the series of History franchise are good so I blindly watched it without seeing any reviews. It started good, silly, bold and with childish moments. Some characters have different characteristics they’re not completely wicked , not completely good.. not completely comedic not completely heroic...which is good just like real life people. What I very liked is there are no ex - coming back drama or cliche girls characters being annoying third wheel.
What I really didn’t liked is ending. I’m not someone who seek happy endings only ,I can accept sad endings too but they’ve to be carved beautifully. This show have given us the most F*ed up ending.. or maybe can I say it’s not my cup of tea??..whatever, but It doesn’t mean rest of the series is excellent but only ending is bad...even rest of the series also have some flaws but can be ignored .

A beautiful love meant to be treasured!
It might be too soon to write a review because I'm not over the show yet, not even slightly but here I go anyway...By this point I have watched a LOT of BL stories unfold and many of them have brought me to tears, made me laugh, made me feel every emotion possible I am fairly sure and yet somehow this one in particular struck me more deeply. I don't know if I can easily put into words why but it had something to do with the purity of love that Xiang Hao Ting brought into Yu Xi Gu's life. His fearless, playful, warmth was amazing to watch and how it slowly melted the loneliness and difficulty that had become Xi Gu's reality. For me, the way they wove their story together was flawless. The pacing, the tone and the challenges all worked to pull me more and more deeply into their love as it unfolded. So for me, it is completely worth it to watch the series JUST for these two. It felt real. It felt meaningful. I was deeply moved and learned with them as they found the way to be brave and to be together.
I did not feel any issue with the second couple, though I know some do. I accepted the raw, unskilled and overly enthusiastic nature of Sun Bo Xiang's attempt at first love, warts and all. In the greater context of their story, I appreciated how he remained himself and yet also found a way to become more respectful. He was just in need of some life experience. Having a more grounded and patient older lover might have been the perfect way for him to balance out his "monkey" nature.
The story was simple enough but for me that was perfect because I was more interested in the deeper personal journeys they all went on. The lack of cluttered story line meant more time with more realistic and relatable issues to navigate. No drama for dramas sake. Everything that happened was well paced and kept me engaged. I laughed a lot. I cried a lot. I felt very fortunate to be watching something wholesome and decent. The acting didn't feel like acting at all. I felt like I was there with them, living their story day by day. I cannot say how amazed I was by the main couple's ability to make me feel what they were feeling. I will keep an eye out for both of them going forward. Wayne Song utterly and completely captured my heart and soul with his performance. The music was wonderful in that it didn't overstate itself or overstay its welcome. It fit well, flowed the story along beautifully without overpowering it. The filming felt smooth, well crafted shots, angles that only added to an overall impression of being well put together on all levels. Would I watch it again? It's worth watching again yet I don't know if I have the courage to ever watch the last episode again. That is no fault of the series but due to my soft heart.
I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for one that is less toxic and more wholesome. It was well worth my time and it's moved into my top 5 most cherished love stories. It will be hard for me to move on because I want to just stay with them there in the radiance of their love.

Make no mistake: this is a good show. The way the relationship develops, the way they work over the homophobic parents; the whole ordeal is brilliant. The last episode, however, is where I draw the line. In writing, we have a rule: don't kill off a character just to make your audience sad. This is because you betray a sort of "trust" between the writer and reader, and you can cause the reader to become angry if you don't do it right. The same rule goes for series and movies in my opinion. There are plenty of ways to kill a character and make it work, but I believe this story missed it. It feels like a cop-out in my opinion. Like, a doppelgänger? That's what we're going with? After everything they've been through, you're going to do that to them?
It was honestly a disappointment from what had been great screen writing so far and a heart-warming story.
I'll rewatch this series, make no mistake, because the acting is amazing, the chemistry is almost better, and I love the story aside from the ending, but I won't watch the last episode because that's just... insulting~

Mixed opinions?
I have a very mixed opinions related to this series ....the series is lovely and well executed at some scenes at the same the story of the some characters are not well developed .....the acting was great ..but I didn't think that YSG had to get into an accident ...and the most annoying think is the look alike of YSG which was really not needed....the last scene of YSG can be much2 better ...and the story about sha de(one of the twin brother)who like YSG ,but I like that second couple is happy and together.....I just want to say that the writers really sucked at the ending .....it also reality in some point like s** sciences because high school students are at there puberty so they create or have more curiosity toward this topic ......who is Phoebe??.atlast i didn't like the ending that much and before watching the series I kinda watch thousands of clips about series where I get the idea that the ending was little fucked up...so I was not much disappointed...it is really worth for one time..... And I watch it from sites so 2 episodes were together and present as 1....which means I have watch 2 episode in 1 episode🤣🤣🤣....I know I doesn't make any sense ...bye byeWas this review helpful to you?

It was like watching a Taiwanese SKAM!
I really enjoyed this. Really. If anyone has watched the male/male SKAM series (any of them), you'll know what I mean when you watch this. Except this was longer and involved way more detail and characters and side plots all in one, but it covered many issues for young male/male couples just as SKAM does, while telling a great story and really drawing in the viewer, inciting emotions on relatable or interesting scenarios and topics. And the acting of the cast was fantastic!I personally wasn't too bummed about the way it ended, as I didn't actually like Yu Xi-Gu. I felt like the actor didn't line up with what the character was supposed to be and so he came across a bit flat to me, I didn't get the feeling he was really properly present as a character next to Xiang Hao-Ting, who was impossible not to notice (as a character and regarding the actor who played him). But that's just personal opinion on a single character, the actual ending was still very good (in a sad way). I've heard some negative things mentioned about plagiarism of this story or something, but I'm not going to let that affect my view of this series.
It really is very good, with a very organic flow and great cast chemistry. Very easy on the tropes, and when they do come up, they're not too eye-rolling and cringey. Xiang Hao-Ting is a fantastic main character, very hetero/masculine but not shy to openly and dramatically fangirl over Yu Shi-Gu, it was honestly pretty adorable.

Okay so, I watched History3:make our days count as soon as it aired. The acting is amazing as the actors did an extraordinary job. I personally thought the ending was unique and original. We always get these nice and sometimes even unrealistically good endings but this time they did something different and I appreciated that. I love the cast and just because the ending wasn’t all cute and rainbows doesn’t mean that the whole series isn’t worth it. I get it! I cried too! But because of the ending I will not start hating the actors or the producers nor will my opinion of the overall series change. I really recommend people to watch it! Although the ending is sad and devastating, yall can just skip the last episode and finish the series on ep9! I appreciate their hard work and I loved the fact that they did something out of the ordinary and my opinion for the plot of a series will not change just because it had a sad ending! Some explain please
Can someone explain to me what happened at the end of the final episode I was very confused why were they broken up or is he dead like what's going on?. I felt like during the whole episodes of watching the series they were going somewhere but episode 10 felt like I was looking at a whole different drama. I mean I felt like this was a really good serious and all the characters were really well written I loved how they had like a different type of love and having to fight for it the stuff in the difficulties that some people do face in reality. Was this review helpful to you?

It did piss me off like most other people! Over all it's a good BL i would recomend it maybe just skip ep20 unless you wanna go through a shity ending! I would just recomend you watching and making your own conclusionof what you think! Was this review helpful to you?

Beautifully Tragic (I haven't cried this hard in a long time...)
Honestly, I don't know how to feel about this title overall.I absolutely loved the acting, the beautiful relationship cultivated by Yu Xi Gu and Xiang Hao Ting. You could feel the chemistry between them, especially in the steamier scenes. I've seen some people didn't like how many "sex scenes" there were, but I thought that all of them were perfectly done (with the right amount of skinship and lust) and all served a plot purpose/to push the story forward.
The kisses between the two ML are so passionate and, I know I keep using this word, beautiful. They reminded me of what it is like to be so in love with someone at the beginning of your relationship, when everything is new and you are just exploring each other. It reminded me of being 17 and the energy and passion of being young (which I am saying now as a 22 year old woman who is soon to marry her high-school sweetheart of 5 years). The pure lust that XHT repeatedly showed for YXG also just reminded me of my boyfriend, now fiancee, back when we were teenagers. This is all to say that for anyone who has ever been so deeply in love with another person, regardless of gender or sexuality, it is so extremely easy to feel nostalgic about the excitement of being with that person.
******Warning: Major Spoilers Ahead**********
I think the aformentioned reasons are why this ending hit me so hard. I like to read reviews before watching a show, and although I typically don't like to spoil things for myself, I was worried when the reviews said that the ending was awful and so to protect my sanity I read on. So I went into the second half of the series knowing that YXG was going to pass away--- and I do think that for me, that made it easier to deal with. But on the other hand, I am, too, so angry at the writer for not giving XHT and YXG a happy ending. I understand that "life" isn't always perfect, but YXG deserved much much better than being killed off at 18 before he had a chance to really live the life he deserved.
This ending made me reflect on my own life, and I cried extremely hard for YXG but also for XHT who was left behind. I'd like to think that my own love story is of the same caliber as YXG x XHT (in the sense of I also have a beautiful relationship with someone who is my whole world, who makes me so giddy and happy and who is so good to me). That being said, I cannot imagine losing my person, and so this turn of events greatly hurt my heart.
I'm hoping that one day I can think about this series and not want to bawl my eyes out. I also hope that one day we get an alternate ending for our MLs because there is absolutely a universe out there somewhere in which YXG and XHT love each other and stay together until they both pass of old age.
Overall, 9/10 for a 10/10 series with a -1/10 ending. For now, I am conflicted and I don't know if I love or hate this series. I do know that it was beautifully done and that I will always remember and carry this story with me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go cry in the shower some more and contemplate the meaning of life and what it means to love someone.

MUST WATCH
For my first BL drama, it's set the standard high. I don't know what I expected from this show BUT NOT THIS!The pacing is perfect, nothing moves too quickly or too slowly. The story is your typical high school romance - but it uses it so well. It deals with the uncertainty of life after school, money, food and also unaccepting parents.
Main couple:
Their romance is so legit. At first, I was unsure how realistic it would feel as Hao Ting was basically a stalker, but it progressed naturally. The plot where they have to wait to be together is AMAZING! When they are together, the show touches on real-life issues like lack of communication and homophobic parents. And they handle it perfectly.
Secondary couple:
This couple feels more like you're typical TV 'perfect' couple. I love their subplot at the start, it makes their romance even more satisfying. Their relationship is legit and real and I love it.
Intimate scenes:
I gotta say, I am inexperienced in this field, however, they do feel real. You don't see anything, but you know it's happening.
Ending:
Sorry, but the ending is unsatisfying. You will be confused at the last episode and you will not accept the fact that the show ended like that. But think on the bright side, a new season with an alternate ending might be coming!
Basically, this show is perfect.
