This drama tested every last bit of my patience.Everything in it was done at the most shallow, surface level possible. We were given no insight into why our characters made the decisions they made, no deeper look into their inner struggles and desires and motivations; no emotionally revealing conversations between the characters or internal dialogue to bring us into their inner worlds; no explanation for what our female leads ultimate goal was or if she even had one; just a bare bones story trying real hard to be devoid of any substance. Which is all the more frustrating as it had so much potential for substance. The bones of a good story were there. The writers just never put any meat on them.
Understand that none of this is the fault of the actors or actresses. They did the best with what was given to them. (Although I truthfully wasn't impressed with Yong Jun Hyung at all.) I quite liked both female leads and am more angry For them for what a crappy story they were handed than I could ever be At them. Chae Seo Jin is aces as Oh Go Woon, and that's the main reason I didn't end up hating her or her character. They're both too lovable. But while Kim Min Young is clearly just as good of an actress, and Lee Seul Bi had some really solid character moments in the first handful of episodes and in the finale, neither of them were ever given a chance to shine. Chae Seo Jin/Oh Go Woon get all the screentime, and eventually, you begin to think the posters and teasers were all just an elaborate lie, and Lee Seul Bi isn't the main character after all.
I will say that there is a lot to enjoy about the finale. The first half ties up a number of plot points in ways that are genuinely satisfying. It also offers up some deeper explanations and explorations of the drama's theme that the story was sorely lacking before that point. Honestly, episode 12 has more story development than all 11 other episodes combined, and it dulled some of the frustration I had going into it. But the second half of the episode is a total waste, and the episode as a whole brings up some really fascinating ideas that the drama Could have explored and Should have explored but Didn't explore, so it ultimately just leaves you feeling frustrated again.
Should you watch Coffee, Do Me A Favor? No. Coffee, Do Me A Favor is not a good drama, and you should not watch it.

5 stories or more
Beyond shin-koong (fluttering heart), as in life, the relationships between characters and groups of characters is given attention in this 12-episode series. It is interesting to watch as each character forms his or her own values, and how this affects the people around him or her.
For example, watch the dynamics of long-term friendship since middle school, co-workers who work closely together, self to ideal self, parent and child, boss to workers, sibling relationships, fan and artist.

at the first ep. i was curios to continue cause it seemed to be promising in-spite
of all these silly imaginations in seul bi's mind
THEN
it became more shallow and repeated
i found that seul bi is a very weak character
the character development for whole characters really zero
and what the hell all that racism about shape, appearance & face ??
as if the whole drama told u a message that
ugly, fat or any other kind of women except (beautifuls) shouldn't be loved -_-
& what the significance behind being changed ??
i thought that change will turn her to be strong character or learn something
but really no til suddenly at the end :\
she becomes more stupid , weak & selfish
and what's wrong with her friendship with ah reum
very sick & selfish relation
and ah reum herself is a real B**** i hated her character a lot
no one of them supports each other or have a normal friend ship i saw both of them weird
and ye na WOOOOOOOOOOW a real real selfish, senseless B****
really i saw the main characters extremely weird and provoking
suddenly at the end all of them decided to change in a shallow way
the only two characters i really loved were the 2 jungs ... jung won & jung sook
i really appreciated their acting all, it was good till the limit of raising my temper
but really this drama won the award of shallowness
and i 've no need to talk about the end after this review, it seemed it talks about itself enough :\

The Tea on "Coffee, Please"
Story: The story an interesting concept. However, I felt that it does have several plot holes, which the writer try to cover up through the God. I felt that the ending suited the story really well tho. In terms of production, I thought the quality was a little early to mid-2010s, so I was surprised to learn that this series came out in 2018. However, the effects in the series suited the theme very well.Characters: I thought that Kang Ye Na and Park Ah Reum were unbearably annoying and that the God, Moon Jung Won, and Oh Go Woon were kinda crazy (Honestly, maybe Jung Won and Go Woon would have been good together). Nevertheless, the God had some sage advice. Writer Im was played very well, but sometimes his character was creepy, and other times, he was overforgiving, etc. Jung Sook was my favorite because he is a gentleman and can say a lot without saying much (I was so sad to see that this is the only drama this character was in :( )
Music: It suits the theme of the series really well, but I did not necessarily fall in love with the songs. The one exception was "Plz Don't Be Sad" by Highlight; it's so hip! (You're welcome ;) )
Overall, I did like it, but I would not say I would recommend this series.

WRONG.
The story of the coffee started good, but a few episodes in, they didn't focus on the coffee that makes her change the appearance and was left in the third place, I still don't understand why this choice...
Second of all, the story faded into nothing after three episodes and till the episode 15 was all based on the coffee changes and all the dramas (pretty dumb, also!) of the main characters, seemed like they grabbed a story an just put in it some random things because the ideas were all gone...
I liked the last two episodes, but again the end was left on no-one hands, rushed and pretty bad, didn't explained anything to what happened between them, also the temporal jump didn't help the drama...

The characters in the drama are mostly shallow people that is why as a watcher, I can't connect with them or empathize with them. The acting of the actors are bad as well, only few would I say had decent acting. Main male lead though I love him in B2st but not here. I mean, he needs more acting workshop I suppose.
I would not recommend this drama, even though it is suppose to be for newcomers, but it did not really justified my time watching this.
