Romantic Love Story ❤️
Korea is famous for romantic movies so it becomes really hard to geniuenly love a story when there are so many. Felt like I'm watching something which is worth my time. It has a realistic feel to it along with a little bit of magic✨Kim Go-eun did a really good job, when I watch her movies I just feel connected and obviously handsome Jung Hae-in also did a fabulous job, their chemistry is really something.
Overall, the story is good and the concept of them getting apart again and again and only meeting by coincidence and then finally realizing their feelings works really well in the movie. The music is also really really good, soothing as well as romantic.???

One love story that tell you when you know you know...
One love story that tell you when you know you know... Hyun Woo & Mi Soo from the first time we already know they will gonna end up together, just the matter of how & when, and themselves also know this as fact, of how attract them one and the other.Very impressive how all the coincidental meeting & how they keep their feeling for each other after that many years... After that the love just that easily blossom just like they wait for so damn long time for this to happen...
But of course, not life if they don't give us surprise & problem.
Here comes the part that I'm not too like about this movie...
What is the hell of Hyun Woo's problem? we never really get the fully answer about his past. What is the reason he go to prison? Is the push is accidental or what the heck happen that day...? I don't know why the cut scene very explisit like that, they don't even show us the blood or the body at the ground.... And more over what about his friend...? Are they really bad or what...?
For me the lack of explanation is very ambiguous & not clear that make this movie ending with unclear tone...

Slow paced
The drama has a potential to be a good melodrama but overall it became too slow paced and there were unnecessary fillers which felt draggy. The time skips were too fast and the story seems be lacking a solid chemistry between the two. Was excited to see the Main cast together after Goblin, but the excitement faded away 15min into the movie. This was a tough watch for me considering that i liked Jung Hae In's slice of life dramas like One spring night and Something in the rain.what i liked about this drama: Cast !! That's all!!
what i didn't like: story which didn't connect the time skips, their lack of communication, gloomy music, side characters with no use to the story at all.
Wouldn't recommend who are not into slow paced or the fans of main cast!!

About the story - I feel there could have done so much with the story. They really gave it so little. It felt as though the time gaps were more for show rather than contributing to the plot. When I read 'they couldn't get the time quite right' I was expecting much more than just what we were served with. Even with the ending, something felt amiss.
That being said, Kim Go-eun and Jung Hae in did a commendable job with both their characters. They did very well with a story that served so less.
I really look forward to see these two act in a drama.

Charming and frustrating and lovely
Finally got around to watching this and I totally fell for the simplicity, tenderness, even the frustration, of this lovely drama, which starts in 1994 and then jumps in years as the story plays out.Jung Hae-in is a top actor for sure and is like a chameleon, adapting to seemingly any role, with ease. I like how his character in this, refuses to be defined by a key moment in his youth.
The role of Min-soo fit Kim Go-eun like a glove, too. The character was mature, forthright, open and outspoken, which I loved. That balanced JHI's role, who was trying to bury a part of his past, which leads to him often shutting her out.
It really is like fate, the heavens and everything in-between, is trying to scupper their future together.
There are no ridiculously mean, cruel or bitchy characters in this film, which for me, made a welcome change. There is drama and life dishing out some really bad luck, but it feels very normal and more like real life.
Misplaced loyalties, dark shadows, guilt, acceptance and love is the journey.
The story is made by the cast though, for sure. Well worth a watch.

It's easy to judge problems with a perception from outside the relationship.
I generally don't see anything that isn't rated above 8.5, but I decided to give this movie a try and the reviews with low grades of it are probably from younger people, who don't understand what communication was like in the 90s, or the lack her.Things in life always seem simpler when you're looking at it from the outside. Conflicts with a complicated solution, for us, it's nonsense, a lot of rubbish.
But in life, when you are living this, everything changes, everything is different and everything is complicated.
So if you're reading this, like me who researches reviews before watching something, don't mind reviews with low grades from people who don't understand this reality. I think older people in their 20s and 30s are going to love it.

i love the producers of this film
the chemistry between the two really amazed me, Jung Hae In's acting really stunned me. and yea... actress Kim Go Eun in this film made me continue to like it, i was very late in watching this film, bcz the release is still very far away, namely in 2019 and i just watching it now??? it's a shame that a film as good as this is, i'm only watching it now. i like every time they meet, every laugh they make in this film makes the audience fascinated and of course carried away by the atmosphere... omg, in terms of shooting, the color tones in this film are crazy. and interesting facts about this film include the song Fix You from Coldplay, that's what makes me love this film even more, crazy, idk how to express it, but this film is very beautiful. being set in the 90s will certainly give a slightly more authentic impression, if i may say thank you to the producers of this film, i will say that sentence rn. there are many lessons to be learned here, the various feelings i expressed when watching this film, made me sway here and thereWas this review helpful to you?
Sad but touching story of two young people
I watched this for Jung Hae In. He is phenomenal in every single drama I’ve seen him so far from While You Were Sleeping to Something in the Rain to One Spring Night to Tune In For Love. He brought something different to each drama but he was probably the coolest in Something the Rain and the most dramatic in Tune In For Love. This movie was such a sad but touching story. I felt for him. I felt the emotions that he was feeling, especially when he was chasing after her. His tears, his sweat, his emotions pour out. Both lead actors were AMAZING. I cried so much throughout watching this movie. Was this review helpful to you?
The movie told me "not everything is supposed to be fine, it's okay" after a very cold day.
First and foremost, the plot was nothing out of the ordinary. I mean, there are several films that have the message "a couple's fate keeps pulling them apart." And I'd give it a six for that alone, but why did I give it an eight-star rating overall? The cast and their performances are flawless and incredible. I'm speechless! I don't think I've ever met another couple who could pull off what they just did! I'm not going to lie, I had to skip every ten seconds because I was getting bored watching the same damn thing over and over again in the movie. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the plot, it didn't stop me from crying. When Misu ran at the end and Coldplay's "Fix You" started playing, I didn't notice my eyes getting wet until tears began to fall. I'm not sure how to put it, but that scene felt like "It's okay, everything may not appear to be fine, but at least you got me." Props to Hae-in and Go-eun for doing the film justice! It's not something I'd watch again, but if everything seems a little too cold and lonely, then maybe again.

this movie changed my life.
I’ve seen so many bad reviews on this movie and I’m just in shock as to why. I think it’s because people don’t really like ‘slow’ movies like this but I personally Love to watch people live their lives, if that even makes sense. this was one of those watches where it leaves you both speechless and with so much to say after. It had me in tears at the end. I loved the simplicity of the whole movie but the complexity of the characters and plot. the one thing that truly got to me was this part of the script, it hit me like a brick. I’ve never had a movie script say something that describes EXACTLY how I’m feeling in the moment. “ honestly I’m kind of glad I didn’t hear from you. to tell you the truth I feel like a total loser these days. I’m not really in the mode to catch up and laugh with you. I hate myself. I don’t even want people to look at me. I’m sad. I made all these choices myself so why do I feel this way?” I actually can not explain how deeply this hits. I felt so seen. it brought me a sense of comfort in a way… overall this movie made me giggle and laugh, gave me butterflies and also made me feel seen and heard. I would recommend this to everyone. Was this review helpful to you?
Ji Eun Tak crush Tae Hee Oppa got a second chance through this movie and its worth watching if you are in for retro-romance.
Every bit of the plot was well written with amazing leads giving in their hundred percent. They made this movie a very pure romantic soul which satisfies your drama love. They were both excellent. I wonder why Jung Hae In is not popular as other stars inspite of his amazing acting skills and ofcourse handsome face. He also became my crush when I saw him in Goblin
I cried when male lead comes to meet him meet her from the military. that's scene and background score just took my heart, when he figures out the password,
it had such lovely moments that can't be expressed.
this subtle romance will make your eyes fill with tears and smiles.
Ost is nice apt for the movie.. but i couldnt get it into my head.
rewatch is maybe yes.. after a long time when i need a light romance to watch..

It was a nice movie
I don't usually watch movies but decided to watch this one just because it was recommended and I enjoyed it a lot. It did feel like there wasn't much of a plot I guess. It was mainly just the two leads breaking up and getting back together again. It was a cute movie nonetheless. It could be because I am inexperienced when it comes to relationships but I just didn't understand why they broke up . the female lead should have just waited for male lead to say something or at least try to understand his view. Again I'm inexperienced so maybe I missed something but usually problems are able to be fixed if they talked them out. I will say though that even though its kind of slow paced it was not to the point where it would bore anyone and they have to stop watching it. Even though I usually do not watch movies in one sitting this was an exception. As for the music, I actually like it a lot so now I could add some songs to my playlist. The acting was pretty good and the chemistry between the two leads was great it was not awkward but they did not really develop character wise. Even though years had passed the only change really was their jobs but nothing else they just kind of stayed the same. It's probably just because its a movie though so there is less time for that. Anyway I would recommend this to anyone who likes a melodramatic romantic movie. Was this review helpful to you?
