He Is Psychometric

사이코메트리 그녀석 ‧ Drama ‧ 2019
They are similar because.....
Both have the same crime vibes
both involve the investigation of murder and cases
both involve prosecutors with police
both have supernatural factors, being psychometric and the abyss orbe

both dramas are full of suspense and feature antihero characters as well as an intriguing story line and a plot that lets you guessing

Crime and mind-reading at the same time. It's too soon to tell if there's going to be (any kind of) romance, but I guess every 16 eps drama is doomed to have it.

Both dramas involve police procedures but the leads are outside the profession, contributing hints to the investigations.

Both of the ML's are thrust into detective work — He Is Psychometric's ML having been working hard to do detective work, while ZD's ML was forced into it to solve his own murder.
Both of the ML work hard, and they also stumble across their FL by accident.

The detective plot was what stuck out to me in the two, and while there are similarities here and there, they are also uniquely themselves. Definitely a good watch if you liked He Is Psychometric and want another drama with a similar vibe.

When I was watching CCIR, I couldn't help but get reminded of He Is Psychometric! Both of them are a perfect balance of romcom and mystery/thriller, there aren't a lot of shows like this, but I've figured that it's quickly becoming one of my favourite genres.

HIP however is a bit more fantasy oriented since the male lead has a superpower, but the whole "big city mystery" vibe is quite similar in both shows.

If you enjoyed CCIR, you are sure to enjoy HIP and vice versa!

Both are murder mysteries with a supernatural element with small plots tied together by the overarching story. Both start out hinting at tragedy but mostly having funny and cute moments, then get darker and darker. Both deal with issues of mental health and child abuse. The characters are forced to confront a terrible truth about their past.

In He is Psychometric, the male lead sees the PAST of a person he touches.

In Touching You, the the male lead sees the FUTURE of the person he touches.
'
So both involve "touching" and sees something, either the past or the future.

- crime action, mystery, and human brain and human psychology in both dramas.

- The story is about a Doctor/Detective who unlocks the secrets to synchronization with different brains to read their memories.

- Suspense/thriller are filled which will keep us on the edge what will happen next. It's a must watch

Pretty much nothing in common except the ML can read objects as well as people (it is the emotion or action in what is seen that can hurt instead of the touch). There is some romance in it but the main focus is on the story of two boys from two separate families wh9 become brothers in a moment of devastation; out of choice, need and responsibility. It highlights the need to reach out for help and how every choice you made and make led and leads you to where your are now, for good or bad.

both dramas have a personage that have troubles to feel and express emotions. also they are about prosecutors, although in He is Psychometric this is not the main lead.
