It's funny mixed with seriousness. Has a great story line and almost similar to Chief Kim. A humble man fighting for the rights of the unjust.

Both have excellent actors, characters and unpredictable storyline! Both have different ending styles for each episode. Not only comedy but both are strong in emotions too. Plus both are funniest shows ever!

If you like one of these, then you'll definitely like another one!

both have sassy and badass female lead, they are also heiresses. With helping from a strange guy the girls have to fight against bad people who are addicted to money power. There are romance line in both drama. Female lead in Graceful Family is colder than Yeo Chi but sadly, the male lead is kinda... "useless". But both drama are great and must watch

Both have traditionally unattractive male leads who succeed due to their kind hart and wit though the stories are far different.

Both are comedy dramas that don't take themselves too seriously (and neither should the viewers!), but not without some genuinely touching moments.

Same creators. Bot have totally awesome characters and story. Both have a lot of comedy, but on the other hand there are some really serious moments too. It takes some time for story to develop, but when it does, everything falls into the right place. Both are one of the bests dramas you can ever see (which is definately not an overstatement!)

Both are Business dramas that revolve around a penniless man who'd use any chance he gets to be rich.

Both stories is about an unattractive/poor man falls in love with a sassy female lead (the heir of a big incorporation). The male lead has to be a servant for the female lead, at first they hate each other but then cannot resist the love. However, HotS is more focusing on melodrama (don't worry the romance and comedy are well balanced and make the melo more interesting) whilst MFL is more about love. To me, HotS is way better since every characters and also every elements of genre were built up intelligently, My Fair Lady is a little bit 'cheesy' but this does not mean MFL is bad. Somehow, HotS got a little bit draggy in the last half of the drama, I myself did skip a few melodrama parts but still enjoyed it to the last second!

Both are well written story telling using humor & tears to illustrate the painful workplace environment facing salarymen. Both have solid actors in each role from main to support.

Both are hilarious, with zany characters and over-the-top acting. Somewhat more oddball than typical Korean comedy dramas.

Both dramas are set within companies but somehow they manage to be hilarious.
Keep in mind that Salaryman is a melodrama though so it's not as lighthearted as Protect The Boss but you should still give it a try. You won't regret it!

Both dramas have an outspoken female lead and have a mixture of comedy, mystery, action and romance

History of the Salaryman is the modern cousin of Giant. Both are similar in narrative structure and storytelling patterns but HotS is comedic in nature while Giant is an epic melodrama.

Both are great, somehow underrated comedies with glimps of crime solving and mystery. Both have great and cute romance storylines ^_^ Also both deal with problems in bussiness and companies. Great actors, original storylines, funny, funny, funny! :)

Murder, revenge, corruption... both suspenseful (Salaryman has more humor to it) and all-around wonderful. Loved both.
