Disgusting 3rd party and draggy ending

The last 10 episodes destroyed the show for me. What I hate most are 3rd parties who use underhanded methods to get what she wants. Fighting for love in the open or creating challenges for the leads - are acceptable to me and can actually be interesting to watch. But when underhanded means are used to deceive the leads and they don't even find out, thus creating a severe fracture in the relationship due to a fundamental misunderstanding (which cannot be resolved) - that is just pure disgusting and painful to watch.

In this case, a prenuptial agreement (for the benefit of the FL) was swapped by the pure evil and disgusting 3rd party, Anna with a divorce agreement - causing the FL to misunderstand the ML and break up with him, and separation for 3 whole years. During this time, Anna tried to get together with the ML, but it is so clear that the ML never loved her, yet she never felt any sense of guilt.

I only felt anger and disgust when in the 2nd/3rd last episode, the ML got together with Anna and the FL got together with Anna's brother. This kind of relationship is very disgusting because there is no love and happiness involved; and it only came about due to the thick-skinned Anna, without any conscience or sense of shame.

It was only in the last 30minutes of the last episode that Anna's brother realised what happened and told the truth to the ML. This ending to me is very rushed and unsatisfactory. I was looking forward to some good moments of the FL and ML together - and this is robbed away from me.

What makes it even worse is that this problem can actually be resolved with some proper communication. The FL's best friend is aware of the prenuptial agreement. She tried to explain but the FL cut her off. Or the ML and FL could properly talk it over - there was even a scene 3 years later where the ML tried to explain, but it is clear the FL wasn't listening properly and had no intention of trying to understand what was going on. Totally childish of the FL. Dragged on a conflict for 10 episodes that can be easily resolved in 2-3 episodes. 10 episodes of such push and pull is too draggy.

Terrible and disgusting ending.

Destiny is all about the choices we make and the chances we take

I never liking "The Main Guy" in any version of "Fated to Love You" before, but I have an exemption for Wang Xiyi.
His character is more well-written, more lovable, and more sensible 一 so, I'm giving second chance to this drama.

I love how they modified this drama into a fresh one, and less-evil schemes and characters.
From the "Marriage by Accident" to "Accidentally Married," I got good laugh by this kind of accident.
Even tho it was turned to he is cheating his girlfriend, for me it was much better than cheating his wife later on.

As we are knew from previous remake and original story, the ML is supossed to drugged by FL's uncle(in law), and that was the ultimate reason why ML is sleeping with another girl, even thinking he was slept with his girlfriend.
I'm glad for this version, they are changed the whole about that night. So, the ML is reflect on his own mistakes, instead blaming someone else for the incident to happen.

And I like the way the FL is changed thru episodes.
You can see she start to change her apparance, her character, and her confidence.
I really love this part. She is willing to change because of ML not because she was hurted by ML.
Unconciously, Xiyi is always help her to boost her confidence and ask her to change a little for his sake too. So I found Xiyi is very doting as husband; even tho he always told himself that all was because he is Ximi's father.
I also like how Jia Xin is freely to choose what is she want to do, they didn't ask her to resign, but instead Xiyi is change her position and job to make her work less and being respected by other coworkers. Even tho Jia Xin is slowly resign, not because she was asked to but she want to.

I do pity Anna, in this version, she is the victim. But I don't really feel sorry because she always put herself first.
She is the most shameless person I've ever seen. I had enough of her bullshit and useless effort towards the end.
Actually I like how Xiyi slowly to draw line between them as time passes so Anna realize that Xiyi doesn't love her anymore.

Like other cdramas, we are always got secondary couple.
Anson's finally got a loveline!!! His life isn't revolved around his boss anymore.
I love Anson is always sarcastic and blatant-ly talking to Xiyi whenever he does mistakes.
His love-story with Jia Xin's friend, Siqi (Yes, our snail also finally has a loyal-friend), is quite cute. I love to see their bickering yet romantic even tho it just a contract relationship.

After the miscarriage incident, actually I cried a lot.
Ofc it'd hurt to anyone who experience this kind of thing, especially they are waiting the baby to born.
Both Xiyi and Jia Xin having hard time to face each other. Both of them are blaming themselves much.
It is understandble for Jia Xin to leave, she need times more than anything.

It's ended safely but I feel a little bit unsatisfied with how they solved the paper incident.
Anyway, this one is good and enjoyable to watch. Not a really tearjerker because I find Zhaolin's crying is funny to watch.

Overly dramatic. Too much pull and push making it too dragging

Usually, I don't write reviews but was very dissatisfied with this version. I liked the original version more even though the ML was a jerk since the story developed better. I was expecting quite a bit with this version as I love the ML but was quite disappointed. The only thing I liked better is the begining and that it wasn't the medication that made him sleep with her instead they spent time together and got drunk. This version was too much drama for me. It wasn't as light as the Korean or Taiwanese version.
I felt the middle part where he felt in love with her was lacking like too bleh/flat and he found out I like you cuz we are living together and you are my hommy wife (getting used to her making lunch and cleaning).
The ending was were got very draggy and I'm mostly disappointed with. More than 8 episodes deciding to get back together or not. Push and pull too much. I love you but hurts too much to get back together but they kiss (again and again), and it got like that for the last 6 episodes. I was like oh my gosh, get it over with already. She finds out everything he has done for her home, helping her mom and being Mr. W and the baby's room/diary but she still leaves on her trip. What was that for? No love there. Ok, he catches up to her at the airport and again, I love you but I'm leaving you. Gosh... No words.. until Ana texts her and tells her the truth about the divorce papers... Not realistic.. she was so stubborn and trying for the past 3 years without any remorse and decides at the end she can let go and explains it to the FL?? The original, she told grandma about it and she told the ML and they got the misunderstanding done. The other disappointment is no post recovered period in this version. They got back together and went directly to the wedding so no sweet moments together after such dramatic dragging 6-7episodes.
Overall, I didn't like it as much. I was excited and anticipated so much about this version but too dramatic for me. I had to fast forward some parts as I was getting too bored and uninterested. I wouldn't watch it again.

Pure entertainment at first, followed by exhaustion and frustration (not in a good way)

Let me first say: this is merely my opinion, judging by other reviews there are surely many people who enjoyed watching this one, I didn’t.

Also: I have not seen the original nor any other version of this Drama, I may later so I can judge whether or not my problems with this Drama are only with this version or the story in itself.

Let’s talk about the actors/acting first.
I am a huge fan of the main couple/ their actors. I loved their chemistry in the eternal love, and for the first half I also loved it here, later on due to the drastic change in one of the characters character I kind of didn’t feel it as much anymore.
Their acting may have been a little over the top in some scenes, but for me that fit the Drama (that was a little over the top in itself) quite nicely. All in all the actors chosen fit their characters nicely. My only problem would be how the Mom of the female lead was acted. To me her expressions sometimes didn’t really fit how her character was described.
I’ll use this spot to give a big shout out to the actors/character of the best friends of the main leads. They were my ray of light throughout this series, and never failed to make me enjoy the scenes they were in. And sadly towards the end were my only source of some fun in between all the drama.

Now let’s talk about the plot. This started out as one of the most amusing Dramas I have ever watched. Everything was so extremely weird, unusual and unrealistic, filmed in such a fun way, I was literally on the floor with laughter for the first few episodes. I thought this would be a Drama were you could have a lot of fun if you didn’t use your brain, or it’s function to reason all that much. However, somewhere around the middle those weird scenes that made me laugh more and more turned into weird scenes that were just weird, stupid and frustrating. One misunderstanding started piling on to the next, until it got to a point were I didn’t even care anymore if those misunderstandings got solved. I really just wanted it to end.

To me there is good Drama and there is bad Drama. Good Drama is the kind that has got you on your tiptoes anticipating what will happen next, good Drama is understandable Drama, misunderstandings that can’t really be avoided, good drama may also be frustrating at times, but it also throws you some treats of happiness or hope every once in a while. Some misunderstandings need to be cleared up before piling on more problems. Other wise I for one start to lose interest.
Bad Drama is Drama/misunderstandings that you see coming from miles away, that is not based on any real reason and more the inability to communicate about the simplest things.
In this Drama misunderstandings just kept coming, really for the stupidest things, drifting the main characters further and further apart, basically for no reason at all, except for their inability to communicate. If a misunderstanding could be easily solved by having one simple conversation, then that is not a good source of Drama.

This might have been bearable if it was just a few episodes of this kind of Drama, sadly it just kept on going for the entire Drama, only solved in the last 10 minutes.

Another point is the weird character transformation of the female lead. To me it would have been nice to see some kind of slow transformation in her character but she basically just made a jump and became a completely different person, and sure the story kind of explains why, however to me the jump was just too big, no matter how much a person changes you would still be able to detect some traces of their original character, to me she just seemed like a completely different person... this may also be the reason I didn’t feel the main couples chemistry that much anymore.
Also for the male lead, his character was kind of inconsistent? He was described as a cold character with a good heart, but honestly he just seemed like a good hearted, bubbly character most of the time, and “cold scenes” really felt out of character to me.

There’s so much more I could complain about, but I’ll end it here for now. It’s just extremely disappointing to see a Drama that started out so well, losing everything that made me like it in the first place and turning into something completely different.

This might have been alright if it was a little shorter, since the story itself to me had some really interesting aspects... however how everything was executed, the sources of problems, the way the characters handled those problems, just felt too random and honestly exhausting to watch.

I did however really really like the OST.

So I finally finished You are My Destiny. As most know by now, this was a remake of the 2008 TW drama "Fated to Love You" (also had a 2014 Kdrama remake and apparently a japanese one as well). I personally haven't seen the other remakes, so I can't speak for them. This review will honestly be a lot of comparisons to the original because FTLY honestly is one of my favorite TW classics, so it's really hard for me to not do constant comparing.

STORY:
I think personally, I prefer the original story. The story was honestly classic TW drama. Over the top and dramatic, a bit ridiculous at times, and fairly unrealistic even for 2008. BUT all of that said and done, this drama had a charm to it that made me remember it even 12 years later. This remake modernized the story a lot and made it much more realistic and down to earth than the original, but honestly it took away that magic charm that the original had and turned it into basically another standard modern drama.

****SPOILERS****

Main story changes:

THE PREGNANCY:

FTLY was an accidental pregnancy. The leads had no idea who the other was until after the slept together and their getting together was essentially a plot against the male lead.
YMD the two leads accidentally sleep together after a drunken night on a cruise ship. This is one of the biggest changes that I honestly didn't agree with. Obviously it was more realistic, but now you have an accidental situation turned into a guy cheating on his girlfriend and a girl who drunkenly sleeps with a guy she barely knows and becomes a third party in a relationship. Obviously the intention wasn't to harm anyone, but regardless, these two technically had an affair and even though they are both good people, this isn't anything that can be "redeemed" in any way.
-- this change to the story was the hardest for me to accept because in FTLY the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy were completely unwarranted and it was truly no one's fault. In this version, the FL just spends the entire drama feeling guilty - and rightfully so - and it really just made it hard for me to feel sorry for her at some points.

"STICKY NOTE GIRL":

FTLY this was the overall theme of the FL pre-miscarriage. She was basically used and forgotten by everyone in her life. She lived her days doing things and helping others and got NOTHING for it. This was not only in her work life, but also in her family where she was the least appreciated and cared for by her mother. This detail is really what made the ML so important in helping her become stronger and more confident. It also really pushes that change in personality where you see her become a completely different person post-miscarriage.

YMD: The FL is well loved by her mother, she has a great best friend/coworker who stands up for her at work, but yet she's still a "Sticky note" (only for the very beginning and only at work). There was honestly not as much reason for her to be this "sticky note" personality and it again, only really showed in the work place. This really broke down that character development for the FL as in this version, you already see her becoming stronger and more confident (after she joins the ML's company as the assistant to the Director). Then post-miscarriage, she's supposedly changed so much even though really she had already begun changing before she went to Hungary. Meh.

"THE REVEAL (of the truth)"
FTLY - They had this whole set up where the FL talks about what "happened" that day and it's accidentally recorded on camera, which is how the ML finds out about the real truth. It was such an important moment as you really saw everything just click for the ML and he finally understands why the FL ran away from him and was so afraid to be near hin that day. He confronts Anna and then is able to really love the FL without the feeling that he did anything to hurt her back then.
YMD - The "reveal" is just so downplayed. It felt super rushed to me, and then there's really no ending for it. Dylan "tells" Xin Yi the "truth", but XY knows what really happens from Anna's expressions. But he just runs to the airport, where he just so happened to have a copy of the real divorce papers waiting for Jia Xin? Meh. Anna honestly gets no form of retribution for what she did and then the story just ends.

Overall when it comes to the story, again, it is modernized and it's definitely more realistic - but honestly, there are so many modern dramas that are basically the same set up, and now this show becomes one of many.

ACTING:
Most people know that the leads of this show were the OTP in The Eternal Love and that was a huge selling point for this drama. I think honestly everyone loved this pairing so much because the Eternal Love was basically 75% cute romantic moments. This drama was NOT that. It was more focused on the real lives between the two and so it required a lot of actual acting and portraying of emotions. Personally, I think that even though these two have cute chemistry, they are still really young actors, and this drama showed that there's room for improvement.

Shoutout to the side family characters though. The FL's mom, the ML's grandma and aunt, I think were honestly all really good.

******************************

FINAL THOUGHTS:
This drama was ok. It is not my favorite of 2020 and it honestly isn't very memorable to me. But again, I think I had low expectations knowing that it was a remake of one of my favorite TW dramas. If I had never seen the original and watched this one, I probably would have enjoyed it a bit more, but again, when you want to remake a famous and classic TV show, you need to be prepared for comparisons to the original.

Current vs Original? Original.

*Everything I wrote are just based on my opinion.*

I do remember a few scenes and overall from the original version so I had high hopes on this remake but all I can see are the loopholes and some scenes that are unnecessary/unnatural.

As it has more episodes so I thought they will add more to the storyline and make it slightly different with the ending or in between but it’s just almost the same and nothing stand out and if I would choose which version to choose, I will choose the original version.

I believe the current version can do better and make it more interesting. I know this plot lots of people love it but it’s super dragging and I got bored nearly half of the drama. I thought something more will happen so I continue to finish but it’s kinda disappointing.

I would only recommend this if you need something to watch and need not focus so much time and energy to it. If not I believe this drama isn’t worth the time.

To all the people who are hesitant to watch this for the following reasons: 1. You have watched the Eternal Love series and think their acting is cringe/below average 2. You had previously watched the other “You are my Destiny” ogs and believe that this one won’t be up to your standard 3. You think this plot is cliche etc. HOLD TF UP YALL LEMME TELL U. I was definitely skeptical of Liang Jie’s acting skills after watching the trailer because imo her acting has not really improved ever since the Eternal Love series. But after watching a few eps of this drama I will wholeheartedly admit that I was wrong. Idk wtf she did but she really made Jia Xin’s naive, innocent and sticky note character believable, bringing realism to her character in this modern setting. I watched SO MANY like literally hundreds of c dramas bruh and I can say the chemistry between the leads is unmatched. It's too good hmm maybe too believable LOL. I can vouch that if one or both of these actors were replaced this drama would have probably done a lot worse. If y’all go to the deep side of the c drama lists ur gonna find some pretty bad acting, acting worse than a 5 year old lying to their mom. Let's talk about the plot next. Yes, this plot is definitely cliche and gives me a mix of a lot of diff versions of other dramas that I have watched but that is exactly what makes this drama enjoyable. It’s like you and the drama are connected thru telepathy or sum shi cause u know damn well what's gonna happen next but even after having this massive juicy brain and knowing what’s gonna happen, you just can’t help but to continue watching. You start to crave the dramas’ happy moments, heartwarming moments, and even the most painful and heart wrenching moments. This drama might not really spark your interest because of the plot's clicheness and I totally 100% get that. But what separates a shitty cliche drama to a successful cliche drama is how its able to evoke the audiences’ emotions. I can’t even believe I'm saying this but yea even during their happy moments I cried. During their painful moments I even uGLY CRIED. I’m already ugly enough and I mf ugly cried. That’s when you know it's good. Now speaking of the og “You are my Destiny” dramas. I only watched the Taiwanese version and not the other 3 adaptations so idk if my opinion is valid here. Compared to the Taiwanese version the Chinese adaptation was less painful to watch. Now that I look back at it Taiwanese ML was such a scum, he literally belonged to the streets but my 10 year old self couldn’t even comprehend that. But because ML was such an a$$ (more than Chinese ML could ever be) that was what made the Taiwanese version even more heart wrenching and emotional and that is why those who have watched the Taiwanese version are so emotionally attached to it (yea im calling u out) and thats why SO many people are complaining about the Chinese version not standing out/boring. In addition bruh, when you repeatedly watch 4 adaptations of the SAME plot with the same characters you are bound to feel uninterested with a 5th adaptation. It is literally like same essay different font.

The Chinese version definitely exceeded my expectations. From the high quality production to the ost (吾爱无爱 - Ann 白安 OST fav omg), to the chemistry between the actors, everything was so well done even when given this type of plot. This drama really showed us how girls tend to fall faster while boys fall harder. It did a really good job in showing genuine warmth, love and pain and how these feelings could exist, not in a 3 year relationship but in just a 4 month relationship. How even a ‘sticky note’ can grow into someone full of confidence, someone who recognizes their self worth all while trying to obtain their fair share of happiness. Hmm this Snail is surprisingly fast. Catch up lizard :)

I love this version! It’s not perfect or anything but in my opinion, its the better take on the Taiwanese version. I felt all the things I don’t like in the T-version were corrected here. I guess since this is the latest from all the ‘Fated to Love You’ versions, they took the best part of each version and make it their own which in my opinion is a nice touch to this much beloved story.

But despite that, I found that the things I love the most about this C-version is their original scenes. I especially love the imaginary conversation Jiaxin had with Xiyi in her head and all the underlaying depth of that conversation. I love how the script pointed out that 'the path they walked together is too short, yet the regrets they left behind is too deep.' Or the scene where Xiyi hugs Jiaxin for the last time and tell her not to blame herself over Xiao Ximi's death and his 'I love you' one last time while shivering -- how come anyone not breaking up watching such scenes? ;_;

Even if they took the original scenes, I personally think they revamp the whole scene to a new height with a better script. The birthday scene was done really well in which Xiyi confessed without knowing it was Jiaxin in the bear costume. Or both of their conversation after the kiss at the hotel are especially brilliant. I love it when scriptwriter wrote this touching and creative script that touch the deepest of our hearts. It is simple yet can highlight their deep regrets and sadness.

The C-version definitely has the most good-looking main couple of all the versions. But funnily enough, Jiaxin looked the most hideous in her nerdy look though -- my goodness, those glasses need to burn in hell lol. I thought both Xing Zhaolin and Liang Jie did really well in their respective roles despite their young age. This is the first time I'm seeing them in anything so I can’t believe how young is Zhaolin (he is 22 years old here?) and he played this role of heartbroken and sad husband and father amazingly. I adore his subtle expressions and the way his expression change from happy to hurting in split seconds are especially amazing -- that you know in that moment, his everything was shattering in the inside. And Liang Jie was great at emotional scenes! Girl can definitely cry and looking pretty while doing so.

The writer made everyone kinder in this version especially Xiyi. He almost made all the right decisions despite how tough it is. People aren’t black and white and it’s fun to see how he struggle to come terms with his feelings. It wasn’t easy but when he chose Jiaxin, he never rethink his decision and he never waver. She is always 'the one' for him. Like all versions, I guess it’s important for us to realise that Jiaxin never has to change in order to be worthy of his love. She is always the one since the beginning and I love that this is the main theme that this drama and all the versions has always pointed out again and again.

And Jiaxin truly change into a new woman as Elaine. She made a mistake by kissing Xiyi at the hotel but after that, she told herself she can be 'weak' but can never give in to her 'vulnerability'. Can anyone do that especially in front someone that the once deeply love and still in love? Only a strong person can do that and that is Jiaxin. She only chose him in the end when she knew he is genuinely a good guy who always chose her and never abandoned her. However, this version Anna is absolutely the worst though. Until the end, she never knew the impact of her decision did to both Xiyi & Jiaxin. But I'm not gonna ruin my review by mentioning her and getting frustrated on how she ruined the story for me. :P

Lastly, I love like the fact that this drama highlighted a few of important theme of the whole story:
1) How it’s not easy to come to someone life and change their lives but Jiaxin did exactly that to both Xiyi and his family with her kindness.
2) Xiyi constantly ask Jiaxin to believe in herself in the short time when he was with her because he believes in her and her capabilities. That her alone, just as it is, is enough for him.
3) Xiyi realised how broken he made Jiaxin and his inability to protect her made her change to Elaine. It’s not a bad thing but she lose her innocence and he knew he is the reasons for that.
4) The loss of Xiao Ximi, no matter how hurting it is for both of them, but it made Jiaxin can meet Xiyi as an 'equal'.
5) Xiyi realised that he is the cause of Jiaxin pain and literally, literally anyone can be Mr. W as long as it is not him. Thus, his decision to let her go despite how painful it is for him.

All the OST in this drama is amazing though. I can’t get over how the BGM always always make the scenes even sadder. And those lyrics, how it fits all the characters like a shoe.

The story is not perfect since I have my problem with the way some of the plots are handled but overall, this drama is a good adaptation. I thoroughly enjoyed it and ended up becoming a fan of the actors.

To be quite honest this drama was quite risky for being a re make of fated to love you.( which one hugely successful at that time) I loved the fated to love you with joe chen and Ethan ruan. Did You are my destiny hold up ? kinda.... To be honest a lot of the parts was too similar to the original and felt like 36 episodes was a drag. Some spoilers moments ep 24 is when she loses her baby. Ep 30 at the end has a steamy kiss scene.
1) chemistry between the leads is beyond good!!! ( because they've been is like 3 other dramas together) hence their kissing scenes are on point and steamy :) hehe
2) storyline is basically exactly the same but they changed certain names , honestly not too many surprises.... kinda bored by that....
3) i was already expecting them to lose fall in love and lose their child , so I was anticipating that part to come faster ( lol no offense)
4) the sad part got my eyes balling tho
5) Lets talk about the l,ast 6 episodes, a total waste of time. It could of ended in like 2 , dont need 6. i tottaly i totally lost interest and did care about their kissing.... I felt it was really draggy of ... you hurt me and make me lose my child, but i still love you, but we cant be together because we cant get pass the barrier of my dead baby, then some hope comes it ( lol they kiss) , then it goes back to we cant and shouldnt , just hurts too much, I'm going to pretend to be in love with the guy who has always been my support, finally at last they fall in love again when she realizes the person who bought her art is him...

Overall its a decent watch , but definitely not my fave...

Extremely DISSAPOINTED Screenwriting

Eternal Love S-1 was good S-2, was too greasy had to drop it half way . Liang Jie brought me to YAMD,
Too many writing flaws, Frustrating Screenplay loopwholes.
1- mnay incidents make viewers wonder how did the situation occur ( either we run our guesses wild to connect the missing dots/ just ignore the flaws)
2- there is NO such CRUISE from Shanghai to Bahamas..
3- even after 4months Jiaxin's BABY BUMP doesn't show and she keeps wearing Clothes that are tied on the waist.. Who can wear such DRESSES while pregnant
4- the SECOND half STORY becomes more of the istigted Abortion rather than the Divorce clause(which made Jiaxin FRUSTRATED and accident lead to abortion)!
5- Hungary encounters were too messy. How all the three characters find the ADDRESSES of the hotel and their homes etc is pure STUPIDITY .
These characters move into the Hotel as if NO SECURITY for visitors inside! Again ,Really?? Which hotel!???
6- After returning to Shanghai, JIAXIN still acts NORMAL whenever the divorce talks pop up, Why would an educated, establised woman not hit back hard on the ex-husband on divorce talks.. series makers look it so easy!

COMMUNICATION IS KEY TO A GOOD RELATIONSHIP.

Acting was good. Their chemistry was great in the beginning, but I'm sorry half way through the drama til the end I just felt bad for the ML. The FL just got so annoying, I get that she had an unfortunate miscarriage but DAMN IF ONLY YOU COMMUNICATED AND NOT JUMPED INTO SILLY CONCLUSIONS SO FAST. ugh. The dumb childish act got WAY too draggy even after the FL finding out that the ML has never stopped thinking about her nor their baby(when FL saw the baby diary thingy). UGH!! Also no punishment for the damn homewrecker?? what in tarnation. The one that suffered the most was the ML!! bruh.... Ultimately, watch the other adaptations, instead of this timewaster. (or watch the first half, not the rest.).

Heavily focus on beauty and the main leads are cheaters!

I have watch all versions of this drama. This is the second version that I dropped after giving it 3 chances.

Story: the story was to long. There was a lot of useless scenes. Heavily promoting there sponsors for example the 水CC Cushion. The female and male lead are basically CHEATERS from the very beginning! This pregnant thing didn’t happen by accident, there was a lot of moment that they choose to be together. Male lead didn’t even think about how wrong or horrible he was to Anna by marrying to the female lead.
They didn’t show how much Anna meant to him, it feels like he didn’t care much about Anna either. A girlfriend of many years?? What a joke. He keeps blaming her and that they wrote Anna cannot get pregnant anymore just to make more justice to the leads are disgusting.

Production: In the beginning the female lead is suppose to look awful, but NO her clothes are very fashionable. There are not much difference after her miscarriage change.

Acting: the male lead has most of the time a dead face. Not many expressions. The female lead tried to look unconfident at the beginning. But you could see that a lot of scenes of unconfident that she want to or is confident. So the actress didn’t really get into her character.
