[Note: I watched this series without watching Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me 1 & 2. So my review is based on this third series as its own show.]

I thoroughly enjoyed this drama! It is a fluffy comedy, has a beautiful romance at the center, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

The Demon Master follows leads An Chu Xia and Han Qi Lu through college as they attend classes, make new friends, and have to make decisions about their future. Despite the drama description, amnesia is not the focal point- it is just one of many things to happen to our leads.

The story can be a little ridiculous, full of cliches and things that would just never happen, but if you can suspend your disbelief you will definitely enjoy the ride. I thought the show used enough humor and heart that even major cliches were fun to watch. Like a lot of longer dramas, the final quarter of the show is not as strong as the beginning, so I did feel that some later episodes were filler or just dragged, but because each episode is only 20 minutes long you can easily power through to the end.

Plus, the story moves incredibly fast- most plots were usually wrapped up in an episode or two. I really liked this because problems or miscommunications between the leads were never dragged out to the point of annoyance, and their undeterred love was the true backbone of the show. Friendship was also a major theme and the warm friendships that formed between the main characters was wonderful to watch. Also, love triangles that turn into actual friends for the leads? I'm here for it!

The cast all do well in their roles. Jia Sheng Yu and Yu Vicky (ML & FL) have good chemistry and are super cute together.
I generally like re-watching shows, and I can see myself re-watching The Demon Master when I need a quick pick-me-up in between more serious dramas.

[TL;DR]
This show is a cute rom-com. Even though the plot requires some suspension of disbelief, the cast is adorable, and the romance and friendships that grow over time will keep you rooting for all of the main characters. It is a fun and fast watch, give it a try!

This was a good show but if you've watched the prequels understand this is completely different cast, personality, and storyline. You honestly won't need to watch the prequel to watch this one. I loved the male lead and his mother. The female lead was kind of annoying and completely different from the original cast. I had to keep reminding myself this is a different show. The romance chemistry was there, the typical cliche plot lines, and of course, they married on the VERY LAST EPISODE AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE I hate when they do that! Overall good show just don't go into it expecting it to be like Master Devil Do not kiss me think more Meteor Garden. If you're a fan of Meteor Garden then you should watch this.

Too disgusting!

1st of all I don’t get it why the cast was changed so suddenly. In the 1st episode there is no link with Master Devil do not kiss me ss2 . Without their names no one can get that they are the previous season’s characters.
There is also no link with the last season. The name was change, the main cast was changed, the whole crew was changed. I mean wtf!
Xing Fei did played her role in the previous ss. But the new Chu Xia was really very annoying. I thought it was Meing xiao , and then I realized that ooohhhooooo.. it it the new ‘heroine’.
Now Come to the story.. I don’t understand why was the plot so terrible ? For once I thought may be I can write better than d writer. Everything is happening so suddenly. There is no break. Suddenly Chu Xia came into a college, suddenly they taking selfies and Qi Lu fell into water , suddenly he proposed her and they got engaged , and then they suddenly broke up. The previous seasons were not that good as expected, but this was the worst. There is full of tragedy. No logic ,nothing at all! It was terrible. If u want to waste your time and thinking about it for a whole day so u can go on. Otherwise please don’t watch this!

I randomly stumbled across this drama on YouTube and after a few episodes looked it up and realized it was a sequel to Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me 1 & 2, which I had watched a year or so ago. Regarding the re-casting, I like the actor but found the actress annoying. Sheng Dong and his friends were fun and I enjoyed their outfits (lol).

The short episodes of this drama make it a quick, easy, and fun watch but - as you would expect - the storylines are absolutely ridiculous. Just the first episode will give you an idea of what the rest will be like. (Their argument is just...I caaaan't. But they're young so I guess I should forgive their lack of maturity??) There are many classic drama tropes and cliches (many Meteor Garden references) and the drama moves quickly, often nonsensically and sometimes with weird continuity between episodes. The villainous character is so ridiculous I just couldn't believe it. So yeah, in conclusion, I simultaneously enjoyed it and thought it was absolutely awful.

This drama was quite fun to watch it has much humor and challenges through their relationship like any other drama, but I wasn't fond of how it wasn't much related to the originals 1 & 2. It's a completely different story-line and you might not even need to watch the first 2 before watching this one. Demon Master is just like a sequel and an extra pleasureful drama to watch if you liked the first 2 very much. Although its a sequel, it made me smile from its humor so if you life some comedy in romance dramas then this will be very fun to watch. Also, there was also many challenges brought to the couple and that made them go through a lot. Most of the enemies were targeted toward the female lead and made her have a rough time but the male lead was confident in protecting her it would definitely make you feel touched by their amazing acting and love for one another. There were also other relationships that were formed from the support roles that were quite fun and worth shipping, I was very pleasured by them as well. Overall, this drama was quite unique, and had also the support roles have a happy ending, ending the drama on a good note.

Totally Waste of Time.. Annoying 2nd Female lead full of cringe..

I started watching this Chinese drama "The Demon Master" . I was very exited because it's season 3 of "Master Devil do not kiss me" but but but I don't understand what's the problem with the story line after episode 16 I can't watch this drama , the 2nd female lead is so annoying she is falling for her best friends fiancee.. (¬_¬) I mean seriously you know they are engaged and she helped you alot. Only FL was the only one who helped you and also gave up her chance to go abroad and asked her teacher to gave this chance to her and saved her from a lot troubles....then also you are planning and plotting against her... ヽ(`⌒´)ノ ┐(´д`)┌ This drama is so annoying I was so frustrated 〣( ºΔº )〣 that I skipped the drama to episode 42 ( where both 2nd fL kidnapped main FL ) and then I skipped the drama to the final episode..

Confused and sad

Hey guys, this contains spoilers so don't read this if you don't want any.
I haven't finished this series yet, something happened that I wanted to talk about so I am sharing it here since I don't have friends that like Asian dramas. One of the things I hate most is when the protagonist 'sleeps' with someone else in the story, which is kind of weird since I don't really get that bothered when that happens in american series, but in asian ones, I feel betrayed, angry and sad.😢😂
Anyways, in ep 21 (I think), The female protagonist's best friend, gets the male protagonist (Han Qi Lu) drunk and slept with him, the next morning when they wake up she pretends that she was also drunk and didn't know (when she clearly betrayed her bff). Han Qi Lu then feels guilty thinking it was his fault and decides (no reason y) to break up with his fiance and marry her best friend that he slept with. That is the important information so the rest doesn't need that much explaining. Pretty much, when they were having an engagement party, he finds out what really happened that night, he threatens her to tell everyone that it was just a prank/joke or he would tell everyone what she did, the protagonists make up. After that, he has an accident and loses his memory before explaining to everyone what the girl did, so I am kind of angry seeing the protagonist still being friends with the girl (since she doesn't know what happened) and I hope he gains his memory back soon. Thank you all💕

Super good!

People are complaining about the change of cast but i think its wonderful! The actors were busy filming other dramas so stop complaining the same cast would of never happened. Only thing i don't like is how the female lead was independent and strong, but now shes naïve and gullible. My favorite character is the 2nd boy who likes the female lead he is a very good actor, deserves Main Lead! The outro song is very good! Would i perfer the old cast? yes, as long as the 2nd Main lead stays the same.

Cringe worthy

The plot is so ridiculous, FL gets upset with ML over every little thing but expects him to forgive her, while she is overly friendly with his love rival. ML gets an A+ for shutting down any girl who tries to flirt with him and not beating the crap out of the dude chasing his gf also for not dumping her. FL has a twisted habit of being an avenger and try to solve other people's problems causing unnecessary trouble for the people who care about her. E only on eps 13 and I'm not sure if I'll make it to ML losing his memory, before I can't take this foolishness any more, but in all honesty I hope he moves on because he's WAY too good for her!! Also I was mad that the leads from season 1&2 changed but seeing this now I'm glad because I really connected with them and would hate to see them be this foolish

Skip it !

A waste of time !!

Suite présumée de Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me 1 & 2.
