A sweet watch but ultimately forgettable.
Watching this drama felt like cotton candy: fluffy, light and almost sickeningly sweet, with barely any substance to it. The two leads were very likeable together and I thought they had great chemistry that made my heart skip a beat sometimes, even though their scenes sometimes bordered on too cheesy at times. The rest of the plot was quite insipid and unimaginative and barely had much logic or reason holding it together, so don't look too deeply into it if you're planning on watching this for an actual story. This is the kind of drama you watch only to enjoy how sweet and adoring the main leads are with each other - and Jasper Liu and Shen Yue definitely did a great job with that!Was this review helpful to you?

Typical Story but Great Demonstration of all roles
It's a very typical boss-employee romance. However, I enjoy how other roles have their considerate amount of screen time just as the main couple. I like the concept of everyone has a story in this show. I find some parts of the show very unrealistic to the point of stupidity. However, it is a show that did make me laugh at times. My favorite part if probably when Liu Dongxian and Gu Renqi watch a romance together and Dongxian called Renqi !! And then when he was on the phone with Shuangjiao he tried to get her to call him Gu Baobei and Dongxian's reaction was PRICELESS! Honestly, my favorite character is Dongxian (cause have you seen him? he's totally my type haha), and so my favorite couple is definitely Dongxian and Qianqian.Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet, fluffy and no-fuss story
From time to time, I like to rewatch dramas and sometimes I like to watch remakes. So I decided to give a try to this remake having seen the Korean version called Clean With Passion For Now in 2019.This version is much better than the Korean version (from what I recall). This one is a sweet, fluffy, no-fuss story.
I was impressed by the main couple’s chemistry which was amazing. We get a lot of skinship and kisses. What I appreciated is that when there is a misunderstanding, we don’t dwell too long on it.
In this drama, I discovered the actor Jasper. I just love his smile and his dimples *_* He is a kind CEO loved by his employees and does not harass without excuse people. This was a nice change compared to other dramas ;-) The character he played was lovable.
Sweet second couples.
When shooting, the crew paid a lot of attention paid to the lights and this resulted in some magnificent shots. I was impressed by the light captured in the actors' eyes.
The story has a happy ending. The ending is nicely done and is not abrupt. An entire episode is devoted to it.
-> To conclude, I think there is a good chance that I will watch this drama again one day because I had such a good time with these characters.

Sweet and Lovely couple. I watched it and became so in love with them!
At first, I hesitate to watch this coz this is just another remake of the Korean version. But as I keep on watching this, I enjoyed it a lot and I even watch it many times even though I have finished it already because I miss their sweet interactions. Gu Ren Qi is your typical handsome rich boyfriend but has a germ phobia, whereas Shen Yue’s character is like a girl next door doing everything for her family. They have a lot of kissing scenes, they were super sweet with one another. OMG, I want that too!She has a cute brother, no, not cute, a very handsome brother, and I think he is one more reason I keep watching this, and of course, a handsome psychiatrist neighbor who has a crush on Shen Yue, and who always eats at their house because her family considers him like a family too. I like their neighborhood, you would just stumble upon a handsome neighbor who likes to help you a lot. I love Shen Yue’s relationship with her brother, they argue a lot but it is evident that they love one another.
This drama is worth watching!!!! I love it, and will definitely re-watch this!

Shen Yue is really a good actress... She can do every role
She really is a good actress even tho it’s a remake and a lot of viewers already know the story behind those episode but they give the best version. To be honest she’s cute and at the same time pretty no need a high filter on screen or make up.I love her natural beauty and natural acting. Hoping to see her in more original drama or C-costume drama.?????????????????????????????????????????? I really loved her... She did her job very well... She's just 24 and yet a talented one. The main couple has a really weird storyline, I don't think I enjoyed it. I like Shen Yue, but her acting is getting repetitive and doesn't seem like good acting anymore. There were no big twists, everything was predictable and the mistunderstading... just simple misunderstadings, nothing interesting.
I live for romance, but in this drama, I think the secondary couples outshine the main couple.
I don't think I'll ever rewatch this, but the secondary couples made it worth it.

nice and sweet
this drama is very good, full of lover en sweet scenes. Shen Yue and Jasper are awesome er relealy enjoy there role and character. Ther chemistry is greate, the close ups from Shen Yue and Jasper eyes are so great , the eyes of Shen Yue and jasper look like little stars when they look at each other and when they laugh the sun shines. the chemistry between the two is amazing,I think it's because in real life, they get along well too and you can see that back in the romcom I also like Yanan in his first movie, the scenes with Shen Yue Lmao, they acting so great, like real brother and sister.Was this review helpful to you?

Okay to miss.
I may be a lil late to the party but this is one show where i'm more interested in the supporting characters' development than the mains'.The plot may not be bad but certain aspects of mysophobia didn't seem to match up (maybe I didn't do research or there may be different possibilities, anyhow). It was weird that the male lead would react so strongly in most situations but mildly in some areas — felt like they were more like continuity issues!
Additionally, the rapport between the male and female leads were really not there. It felt like the team did the female lead dirty. I know the portrayal of her role was meant for her to be slightly unkempt versus the male lead who is an absolute cleanliness "freak" but throughout the show, it was so hard to watch and find a balance (and comfortability) between the two.
Currently at episode 18, my verdict would be - you're not losing out much if you give this a miss! I've been watching this with many forward-skips so there we have it!

Lazy writer
Below review is my subjective personal opinion of my experience watching this drama, please don't get offended if you have different opinion.For those who have not watch the drama, can give it a try first before deciding if you like it or not, as people taste are different. Things that didn't work for me might work for you.
Story
I waited for this drama to release for quite a long time just to get disappointed. I don't want to compare both C and K ver. So I was thinking to watch and judge this drama as its own, but the writer seems to expect you to watch the K ver. before the C ver. As there are so many things unexplained which you can find the explanation only in the K ver.
Such as, why the FL running away with a mask from her senior? From her conversation with her brother they often replace their father's work, it means she should be used to it but why she was running away that time? Turns out that the senior is the one she has crush on, but this point was not elaborated by the writer.
Another example is the FL father is against her working as cleaning service, but we don't know why and we even don't know he is against it if FL didn't say it.
For the 2nd ML as well, he just suddenly appear and have special feeling the FL, even meddle in her private life, we didn't understand his motive until much much later in the drama. Not to mention, he is such an unprofessional psychiatrist.
Mysophobia in this drama feels just like a convenient tool to drive the story, when needed it will act up. ML character is so inconsistent that I cannot determine whether he have mysophobia or just a person who likes cleanliness. He was okay when he accidentally swallow FL's sweat while he fainted when they accidentally kissed. *???*
The loveline was rushed in my opinion. ML just suddenly halucinates the FL in the mirror and missed her, wanted to approach her, and so on while their relationship should be still at the stage of being stranger who knows each other name. They did met several times and work in the same company, but still, there were no event or anything that develop their relationship to that of more than acquaintance. This really affect me on following the story. Even though the actor and actress have good chemistry, but the flow of the story really get in the way for me to enjoy their chemistry.
Acting
Both leads and supporting actors did an okay job I think, the acting was not awkward. It is just that the some of the characters quality and the story really is not my cup of tea.
Music
The OSTs are good and beautiful. I enjoy them very much.
Rewatch
I'm not considering to rewatch it at the mean time.

This drama is exactly same like from the korean drama "Clean with passion for now". This drama is chinese version. It's interesting that actress Shen Yue is acting as the main character in this drama. She is gorgeous and amazing chinese actress. She seem to act dramas which are made into chinese versions. Hope you spend time watching this amazing chinese version of "Clean with passion for now" by Kim Yoo Jung and Yoon Kyun Sang.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Well-acted romance driven by a whole lot of nonsense
If abuse explained as love, with overwhelming unexplainable love for the abuser might bother you, this is a definite skip. If you can ignore illogical plot devices, abuse, and poor character development and only focus on the cute fluffy romance between the leads then this is an ok filler show.Can't complain about the actors, they all did well in their roles. The screemwriters themselves killed the story. As others stated, there is no character development, backstories are a shallow, and plot/motives are lacking in depth and logic. This kind of sloppy writing makes it seem as if horrible parenting is the cultural norms. The grandfather exists in the story only to abuse his daughter and grandson. He is brought out only to ruin their happiness and worsen ML's problem. And yet, because of filial piety the mother ignores his behavior and pressures her son to accept the abuse as family love, which he does. Not acceptable! Filial piety is not a crutch to beat your family with. It's not honorable or noble to overlook abuse because it comes from a family member. If the mother was truely filial to her son and father, she'd have told her father his behavior is unacceptable and he has no place in their lives unless he changes!! Horrible parenting and insane love rivals are the most lazy and irritating plot devices in c and k dramas.
Thankfully they stopped the stupid male love rival fairly early and did not bring in a crazy female rival.
The explanation of his illness was ridiculous!! The writers glossed over the abuse by saying it was because he loved his grandson so much he couldn't help but call him "filthy, worthless garbage" when he wasn't ignoring him. ML developed mysophobia because the person he loved most kept calling him garbage. ? That is complete nonsense. Gpa isn't a bad guy for not clarifying the accident and letting them break up, because it was for the company . His driver did cause the accident, he made his driver turn himself in and gave the wife and kud money to help them out. In what way could this possibly hurt a company? Of course this was forgotten once the truth was out and the leads got back together. All is forgiven with gpa cause he said a few nice-ish things at the end when prompted by the mom, and gave him a box of old things he bought but never gave. More sloppy nonsense!!

So Far, I love it
I started watching it on the 11th of May and for me, it's currently the 12th and I've just finished watching episode 10.I started watching it because I love both main actors and only after watching the first episode i realized Yan An from pentagon(a K-pop boyband) is in ti AHHHHHHH
Jasper Liu and Shen Yue are two amazing actors and I love their on-screen chemistry.
the storyline is amazing I've never watched anything like it and that says a lot since 75% of my time goes into watching dramas.
Netflix only has 10 episodes so far so I'm patiently- not so patiently waiting for the other episodes to be aired
I recommend watching this if---- IF NOTHING
