What a shame

I thought there were many quality aspects to this show - production value was good, settings were good, and many of the characters were played well by good actors.

Sadly, the main reason the score is so low is because the lead actress, Shen Yue, was dreadful. She was exactly the same character that she was in Meteor Garden and in A Love So Beautiful. I am forced to believe that she is a one trick pony when she is acting. It was disappointing to see the *exact same* mannerisms when she was worried, upset, angry, tired, etc. - not a whit of difference, and that, in and of itself, was enough to ruin this show for me.

It also fails the Bechdel test since there is little to no conversation between women that doesn't revolve around men.

I watched to the end because I thought the storyline, while trite in many areas, nevertheless added some interesting timing and character development. Kudos to Dai Yun Fan for pulling off the adult decisions his character made in a completely believable manner, and to Vivi Yue for bringing patience and kindness into her role in a thoroughly professional manner.

"Love Unveiled: A Delightful Journey of Healing and Connection"

In "Love Unveiled," the enchanting innocence of Shen Yue's portrayal effortlessly intertwines with the poignant narrative of human connections and the significance of cleaning helpers. Gu Ren Qi's closed-up personality and mysophobia, stemming from an incomplete family, finds an unexpected remedy in the form of Shi Shuang Jiao. Her once happy family shattered by tragedy, Shuang Jiao's journey from slovenliness to a connection with Gu Ren Qi through his cleaning company sets the stage for a heartwarming tale of healing.

The chemistry between Gu Ren Qi and Shi Shuang Jiao blossoms beautifully as they navigate their own emotional scars. Through shared moments and mutual understanding, the two protagonists gradually heal, proving the transformative power of genuine connections. The twist surrounding Shuang Jiao's mother's death adds a layer of complexity and depth to the story, unraveling secrets that further deepen the emotional impact.

"Love Unveiled" stands out not only for its endearing characters but also for its exploration of the human condition. The narrative skillfully blends elements of tragedy, healing, and the transformative power of love. Shen Yue's innocent charm, coupled with a compelling storyline, creates a delightful viewing experience that resonates long after the final episode. This drama is a testament to the profound impact that unexpected connections can have on the human spirit, making "Love Unveiled" a must-watch for those seeking a heartwarming and emotionally resonant journey.

I love Jasper Liu. This is the 2nd drama that I watched him, very impressed with his acting skills. The only thing I have a problem with is the storyline. It is similar to another Chinese Drama "Miss Crow and Mr. Lizard". The storylines were similar. The visuals were good, but I couldn't grasp the cleaning business. I'm sorry I keep comparing the two dramas. I'm not going to fault the acting of the main and supporting actors. They did very well so thank them for that. I hope to see Jasper Liu in more dramas.

Cute, Light & Easy to watch

Fair warning: the story line is not exciting but it was easy to binge watch.

ML and FL meet under odd circumstances and keep running into one another and poof! as fate would have it they are in a boss/employee relationship and help one another out to accomplish goals/challenges.
Jasper and Shen Yue always put a smile on my face so I had to watch this since both of them were in it. I loved their on screen chemistry. The alternative couples have cute stories as well. I don't think they will be in another drama with one another but if they can get on a game show that would be worth watching!

mmmk bye

Very Romantic

It is a sweet drama and a remake of the Korean version "Clean With Passion For Now" which I loved. I really did not care for the way the lead male was portrait in this one. I also did not care how they try to connect her mothers death with his grandfather. I love Jasper Liu as the leading male character, he is one of my favorite actors . Shen Yue is one off the great young female actress and great as the lead female character. I did like the romance between the lead male and the lead female. They had a lot of chemistry. I also like the 2nd and 3rd lead couples and how they evolve during the drama and how they end up together. The romance is quite realistic and I give it to the actors for their performance, how well they portrait these characters. The actors did a great job and had a lot of chemistry. The story it self was not my favorite but it is a good drama to watch.

Really Love it! - Mostly…

This was excellent. The acting, the music, production, the story - all great! Definitely will rewatch several times. Had it not been for one major flaw this could easily have been one of my go-to dramas.

I really loved this drama EXCEPT for the 2nd ML character. Had he not been a therapist -and even more so the ML’s, at that - his character would have been little more than the usual annoyance. HOWEVER, his malpractice and ABUSE of his patient was absolutely unpleasant to watch. He literally used his therapist role (one which requires complete doctor-patient trust) to try to keep the ML from the FL, and not because he truly believed their relationship was unhealthy, but simply because he was jealous and wanted her for himself. A patient’s weaknesses were used against him by his own therapist. How could that possibly be okay and go unpunished?!?! I’m completely appalled by this aspect of the story. The therapist was literally trying to hurt his patient due to his selfishness. He saw the ML struggling and getting worse but did nothing to step in and help (or warn others to do so) despite having previously used the excuse of not being able to walk away from a patient in need to force his way into the ML’s home, just to keep the leads apart of course. He never even tried to address the source of the problem. No, he used drugs to treat the symptoms and left it up to the FL to resolve the true source of the ML’s illness. Not only should his license have been revoked but I wish he would have even been locked up for abuse of his patient.

Otherwise the show was surprisingly great. Yes, the grandfather was an ass, but we’ve seen similar or worse in c-dramas so it wasn’t particularly shocking. And again, the music was beautiful. Jasper and FL both did an excellent job.

An almost perfect drama

Disclaimer: I’m a huge Shen Yui fan! I’ve also enjoyed Jasper Liu in Triad Princess and When I See You Again. There are some hilarious scenes, where the main leads keep running into each other, in the beginning. There was great chemistry between between the ML and FL even when they did not like each other early on. The FL slowly brought the ML out of his shell helping him overcome his mysophobia.

The ML fell madly in love with the FL and was over-the-top in expressing how much he loved/cared about her. The ML’s therapist and FL’s new neighbor was a threat for a few episodes before he realized the FL loved only the ML. I enjoyed both of the budding romances between the supporting actors/actresses…so much love in the air. There was always something interesting happening at the end of each episode.

Storylines I did not like:
1) When we found out the connection between the ML’s therapist and the FL and her mom, I was thinking, “Here we go with the childhood memory flashbacks.” Like I said earlier, the therapist was only a threat for a short amount of time but hated him for using his position to try and win over the FL.

2) I was hoping the writers wouldn’t revisit car accident that killed the FL’s mom and have someone in the ML’s family responsible (yes, they went there and it was exposed at the worst possible time-damn you grandpa!). I wanted to skip through the through the drama until the ML and FL got back together but I resisted. Their separation was painful but their eventual reconciliation was beautiful and endearing (I’m a sucker for the “couple running towards each other and embracing” scene).

I loved the OST, especially Pure Love whether it was the instrumental or vocal version (something lovey dovey was happening or about to happen). I waited, in anticipation, for this drama for over a year and was not disappointed. I slowed my binge watching towards the end because I wanted the drama to last longer. I will definitely rewatch Use For My Talent again (I’ve already watched some of the early, funny scenes again).

Shen yue nailed it

Shen yue always have chemistry to her male leads.
Looking forward for another project with Jasper Liu again. They both nailed their characters. I dont care if its remake. For me they both give justice to their roles.
1. I dont care it is remake but definitely it exceeds my expectation.
2. OST super love it
3. Age gap not noticeable, they both have superb chemistry.
4. Ratings in douban app is low but that app is full of haters. Underrated in China but a hit international.
5. Shen yue acting improves a lot
5. More team up with Jasper Liu please.
6. Shen yue is a gem in chinese industry

Unremarkable but a good first drama

Your standard germaphobe ml/charismatic fl/rich man/poor girl drama. The story is pretty bare bones but there are some fun moments. I think the cast did a good job with what they had. If you're a seasoned drama viewer, I would skip on this one unless you just want something to play in the background. If you've never seen a modern romance or any drama before, I think this is a good introduction to the tropes and will be an enjoyable watch. Overall, this is a drama you'll probably forget you even watched a few weeks later.

Overall I started watching this drama because I love Jasper Liu and Shen Yue. Both are an amazing actor and actress. It is the classic female lead heroine saves the male lead story-line. Personally, I think it is an okay drama. I have seen the Korean version of this as well. The Korean version I have to admit is better.

I really wished there was more character development for the second male lead (Lu Xian). I wanted to see more of his story and see him working, rather than just pursuing the female lead all the time. I do sympathize with him, but I do agree he could have done better. His acting was not too bad, but needs some work here and there. Though I may check out his other dramas because I did like him.
Jasper Liu did an amazing job. He did well portraying his character as a mysophobic.
Shen Yue was okay in this drama I have to admit I liked her acting in Meteor Garden and A Love so Beautiful a lot more.

I think that the storyline was the same, thought I do wish it could have been a little more developed. I do not think I will be watching this drama again. The other 2 couples did keep me interested in watching. They did a great job portraying their characters.
