But that all quickly went downhill when the Big Misunderstanding that plagues many dramas hit and not only was it really not executed well, but suddenly everything just kind of fell apart. The writing was mediocre at best, the acting was cringe-worthy, the story was less than exciting, and I really did not care much for the leads anymore. Such a pity! There were still a few shining moments in the later episodes that tried to bring back a little of that initial charm this drama had but overall: I was over it.
I was also not a fan of the ending. It was a really frustrating and confusing last episode that did not leave me satisfied at all. The very end itself was awkward and didn't make sense. Whatever.
I can't completely say it isn't worth a watch, since as mentioned before the first half was really, really good. It might also be a little better if you can just binge your way through it in it's entirety without having to break for new episodes later on as I did. *insert shrugging emoji here*

For the plot, overall it's quiet nice. But, I think the antagonist character need to be more evil. No major plot twist in this drama, so not enough excitement. But for romance enthusiast like me, this drama is awesome, because a lot of kiss scene (hehe). I like how they really focus to the story of MC, not really pushing the supporting role one (especially the ending). Because this can be categorized as square-typed love? HAHAH.
For the music, i feel like there are no variant of music in this drama. Because, I usually listen to drama OST, but for this one only the ending song sounds good. But, if you're someone who dont focus much on music, then skip this one.
If I have much free time and need to fulfill my thirst for romance thingy, I'll surely rewatch this drama.

Acting was too exaggerated for me. All the events were happening too quickly and the episodes were too short in my opinion. Although from the beginning we had some romantic relations between the two main characters, I wasn't convinced about their feelings until the very end.
As far as the theme of the main character's sister is concerned, just as it started unexpectedly, it also ended unexpectedly. And the whole main story is not well explained either. Although we have a little mentioned what it's all about, for me it's definitely not enough.I always try to find as many positive sides of each series as possible, but in this case there are too many shortcomings for my opinion to be positive. I'm sorry, but I didn't like this series.

A disjointed and WTF final episode.
Soooo I enjoyed this at first and actually loved the romance aspect all the way through, but there were some major plot, writing, and execution problems in this show, the final episode being the absolute worst.Issues were:
1. The main plot of powers/healers/etc was convoluted, not explained well enough, and worst of all had shaky "rules". Like why her mom basically died saving someone and they said she would die if she saved the girl, but she saved her once and the protector's ring healed her. That would've been handy but it was never explained or used ever again after that one time. Handy random one time plot device, right? Also, why was his sister so fragile from using her powers but he used his even more often and wasn't at death's door? Why wasn't there any consistency in this major plot?
2. The girl who said she was a healer but wasn't really... Why was she trying to get into the male lead's pants at one point but was a "good guy" 5 seconds later and we never explored why she was so weirdly and randomly evil/good?
3. The end episode. LAWD. So many things.
(a) why did the main girl SAY that the sister had DIED early in the episode but a few moments later it's "2 years later" and the brother is obviously searching for his sister not "knowing" for sure she's dead??? why did the FML "know" she died but a little later in the same episode she would have to have NOT known that. Inconsistency, much???
(b) he only came back because he now thinks his sister is alive and living well? so, only THEN did he come back to find the FML and embrace her once again? really?
(c) these guys sending photoshopped pics and faked letters of his sister to manipulate the couple back together. she died. they pretend she is still alive and send pics to our ML. ummm, how about NO? yikes. if their love was that weak, then leave it alone already. also he can teleport to any place if he sees a pic. wouldn't he eventually ACTUALLY want to see his sister again? WTF will they do then when teleports where they are and he finds out his sister did die back two years before?
(d) the bad guy who kidnapped our girl for revenge walking up to a buddhist? temple? or? WTF is happening here? no one knows, cause it's only 1 of about 6 random and disjointed scenes in the finale. *shrugs*
(e) the ENDING SCENE is a male lead look-a-like walking up to the desk of the ML's business partner at the company. WHUT? WHY? And it. ends. there. WHYYYY? Again, who TF knows?

Would Recommend to Romance Lovers. Would Not Recommend Supernatural Story Lovers
For The Good, For The BadThe Good:
1st - Wow! The kisses! This is the first drama I've seen where the actors really kiss. It's not that awkward flat lipped kissing you often see in these dramas.
2nd - The concept of the drama was really intriguing and I really wanted to learn more about the abilities, the healers, and the protectors. I loved the special effects for Qi Xun's ability.
The Bad:
1st - Although the concept of the abilities/healers/protectors was very interesting, it was also very vague and left me with a lot of questions. I would have liked the drama to explore more of that supernatural aspect rather than the sister's side story.
2nd - I felt they could have expanded on the antagonist's role by adding more of the supernatural to it and made him a little more evil.
3rd - The FL's dad and their whole relationship. The guy did some pretty cruel things to her. I know it was to "protect" her or something but it was inhumane. I just don't see how she could patch that up with him and actually live with him again.
4th - This goes along with my first point but I really wanted to see more of the FL's ability. We saw it only a few small times and it was incredibly minimal. I would have like the writers to have given her at least 1 big moment with her healing ability but it just never happened.
5th - What was that ending???
Despite the bad points of this drama, I really did enjoy the relationship between the 2 leads. I would recommend this drama to anyone who is looking for a solid romance with a little fantasy. I would not recommend this drama to someone who is looking for full supernatural driven story.
Happy I watched it? Yes 100%
Would I re-watch? Yes? But only for Gao Han Yu (Kido) and the shaving cream scene though??

Why shouldn't you watch :
1. Is this what you call an ending, this much VAGUE! ???? It's like watering a plant to grow, taking care and then cut it off when It's old...And what about that very last scene, where does the male lead come from in a totally new avatar? Is it a hint that there'll be a second season?
2. The plot holes were too much visible to be ignored...the drama started well but then.......there were some hasty episodes where things suddenly happened without any proper explanations of "WHY"?
3. I thoroughly hated the female lead to be cast as the lead female character...Let her learn some acting for god sake! Why does she unnecessarily smile when she's delivering a serious speech?! I mean seriously! What if we had Qi Tian as Shuang Shuang in the female lead, she'd have killed it..Trust me! ????
Why should you watch :
1. Too many passionate kissing scenes between leads which were too hard not to enjoy.
2. The on-screen chemistry between two lead. You'll feel like they ain't acting in a drama rather they are a real-life couple.
3. Qi Tian cuz this girl acted so brilliantly that I wish she'd be the female lead! Hope to see her in future projects.
Finally, I didn't enjoy the drama that much I thought I would be...But glad that the running time (30 minutes) of each episode is less than usual C-Dramas (45 minutes) & it does contain only 24 episodes...So here you go cuz the decision is yours. Merci ?

Here it is, im dropping my review, so you watch this drama. Lets get started with our ML Qi Xun, He is cold but at the same time he is super warm towards his sister Qi tian. They both are talented who posssess supernatural power, but his sisters life is shortening because of her power, brother is on the quest in search of healer who can cure his sister.FL is Shaung Shaung who is warm and passionate towards painting, she holds special power which is unknown to her, at the same time she also has horrible childhood memories. Kun Lan, shaung×2 childhood friend, honestly i didnt really like his charcter he semeed rather irritaring.Qi tian, ML sister who is cheeky, bubbly, full of warmth and smile & one of my faviourate character. Wan tian Second female lead, reason to love her is because she is professional, does not cling to ML and also has sense of justice. Shen lang, a beautiful personality, he is always there for Qi tian and loves her without forcing his feeling, I would rarher loved it even more if they would end up together. Reason to love this drama: 1.Lots of kisses. 2.cutsy Qi tian. 3.Great storyline. 4.wow some chemistry. Its not the best out there but definetly worth your time, to give you some great life lessons. Stop being skeptical and get a drink, open a bag of chips, grab some tissues & get ready to binge watch. Was this review helpful to you?

SOUR After-taste
Story :-Started out interesting, always a sucker for supernatural fantasy, I'm on if I see this tag.
-ShuangShuang Character was chirpy and positive...liked that about her. A gal after my heart, glass always HALF FULL.
- things were good until ep 13 before their breakup,as it started to drag so painfully, I started to lose interest clearly!!! Somehow I made myself watch until the end! Phew!!! That wasn't tough at all.
-Was not a fan of ShuangShuang bailing on the company and what followed but really liked how Wantian supported her, that was unexpected.
- God!! don't get me started on the annoying He Zhengchang! His hatred was too strong, I detested watching his scenes the most, even wen the past came to light, he still refused to believe !!!
- they could have placed Qi Tian's stories better (no offense, I really liked how cute Qi Tian was), inserting it right when Qi&ShuangShuang's story was at its peak, was off putting!!!
-crap lines like ..healers are made to ease Espers pain , wen saving an espers life means ur own. What kinda power is that? Wats the use of ur ability if it can't be put to good use, without causing u major harm.
-what the hell ending us this? Did the writer forget the story lines in between and just wanted to push it to end???
On to ACTING:
-the FLs acting sometimes was ( like 20%); oh so really irritating and felt like she was over doing it at some points too! Otherwise, she presented herself well.
-ML showed the right emotion at right instance, his execution of his character was well put.
- All the side chars (Kun lan, Qi Tian, Shi Lang, Wantian) did a good job given its their first assignment for most.
Overall:
Watch only if you want to pass ur time painfully, the after taste of this drama was some what sour!!!

Pros:
-A lot of kissing scenes and couple moments.
-There's tolerable drama up until the middle of the series.
I do not really recommend it.

What Did I Watch
The main thought I had when watching this was what am I watching!? It started off so well! I liked where it was going and the storyline for esper and healers but the end episodes threw me for a loop. I started to loose interest and just didn’t really enjoy the ML or FL after awhile. It was kind of all over the place for me and thought it could have been written better.
Overall this could have been a killer show with a great set up for another season but it just fell short for me.

Gosh, this was sweet. It was very funny in certain places - I was happy that this drama offered Gao Hanyu the chance to showcase his comedy talent - while at the same time I bawled my eyes out watching the last three episodes! And the end credit song! That song! It gave me warm fuzzies. I really have to look it up.Most of the characters were really not all that likable at first, they irked me a lot, but they all grew and matured throughout the drama, all of them, even the bad guys, that I ended up loving every single one of them. I basically started bawling when Shen Tong started telling her story and then cried my way through the remainder of the drama. The ending was so very, very soft.
What touched me the most was what Shi Lang and Kun Lan did at the end when they fulfilled Qi Tian’s wish and made it look like she was still alive and happy, travelling the world with her soon-to-be-husband, even though she died those two years ago. Because Qi Tian knew that Qi Xun and Shuangshuang would never stay together if their relationship cost Qi Tian her life. And Kun Lan liked both Qi Tian and Shuangshuang and Shi Lang loved both Qi Tian and Qi Xun so much that they kept up the pretense for the main couple to be happy. Even though it meant never coming back themselves.
And the sweetest surprise? When Wantian got a “Qi Xun” of her own in Zhang Lichuan.
I’m very glad I watched this drama. It was a sweet romance. Just with espers.
