Secondary couple has much better story

Love with flaws is nice as soon as you pass episode 7.... Unfortunately producers took too much of their sweet time to develop the story and drama came up to be dull. I'm sorry but I had to fastforward 6 episodes. To be honest, if not the leads, Oh Yeon-seo and Ahn Jae-hyun, I wouldn't even bother to do this as my rule says "3 first episodes make the waching". I'm thrilled that it changed because I liked both leads in other dramas - Korean Odyssey & Cinderella and four knights.

I think that this is the first drama where I was 10 times more rooting for the secondary couple than for the leads. The story of Min Wook-Hyuk (Joo Won-Jae, oldest brother of Seo-Yeon) and Hwang Woo Seul Hye (older sister of Kang-Woo) had so much more to say that I would appreciate to see them as lead in other drama.... MBC how about the spin-off ?! 😇🙋 Also the stories of side characters are very interesting and I think the best ones are of weird Baek Jang Mi 😅 (Shin Do Hyun) and the second older brother of Seo-Yeon - Joo Won Suk's (Cha In-Ha).

The drama had much more interesting side characters than the main ones, which made the series not well balanced. There was more of what was uninteresting than what I wanted to see..... boooooooo!!

Came here for the gay shit, stayed for the straight shit.

This is not the most amazing Korean drama I have seen, but after watching so many Thai BLs, this one was pretty damn good. As soon as I heard Despacito I thought this was gonna be garbage. Luckily it wasn't but, still, CHOICE WERE MADE.

First of all, it is a very simple and predictable story. I constantly found myself guessing what was going to happen and, as expected, I was correct in most occasions. That's the kind of story we are dealing with here. Despite all that, it was still quite an enjoyable little series. I also like that the title of the series was actually what the series was about and not just for show. It had a beautiful message that left viewers with a warm feeling at the end.

I came here originally for the gay shit, so let's talk about that. It was nice. I genuinely enjoy when writers give me a story that feels realistic. The LGBTQ+ community in South Korea suffers a lot from discrimination and, even though I have never been there or experienced anything of the sort from the country, I can see that they tried to make it as realistic as possible adding some elements from drama series. It was really good to see the increasing development of the two main homosexual actors. Nice acting too!

- Writing, Direction and Pacing:
Decent. I can't really say this was the best written drama because there were moments where I thought it was a little messy and that could have been improved. To be honest with you, I have never been a fan of dramas that follow too many storylines because, in reality, who cares about all these people? Focus the story on what's important because then you miss a lot of good opportunities for some characters to develop. I was expecting more from the older brothers but we barely managed to have a decent story. At least I can say I'm glad their stories worked out despite the little we got.
The pacing was decent for the main couple and maybe the doctor guy. Their story was very solid and fleshed out nicely, which is what ultimately attracted me the most. Can't say the same about everybody else, though. Again, a lot of skipping and fast paced plots.
I did enjoy the symbolism, though. The "running" scene gave me chills and was a delight to see. Also, I don't know if yous noticed, but this drama never really made you feel completely happy. As soon as that beautiful emotion tried to fully reach you, something else happened that bonerkilled it. I thought that was quite interesting since it made the final episode a little more wholesome.

- Acting:
50/50. It all depends on your tastes. I have very low tolerance to cringey stuff so, if you watched the series already, you probably can imagine how some of what they considered "fun acting" made me feel. I do think the leads were quite natural with their performance, but there were specific moments where it was too much. Considering this is a Korean drama, I was a little surprised about that since I'm used to better from this country.

Mama this show has everything: Diverse communities, traumatic pasts, unfulfilled promises, hot ass motherfuckers, bipolar personalities, betrayal, constant apologizing, hot ass motherfuckers, diarrhea, choices, unexpected erections, and hot ass motherfuckers. I do recommend it to anyone who's looking for a lighthearted romcom.

Sweet, easy to watch loveable side caracters. I'ts good but not great

Kim Seul Gi was great as second lead. This drama is nothing special really but does have some nice moments and loveable caracters. The plot has its ups and downs. Some of the humor was a bit low and almost embarrassing.

The leads acting wasn't always good and the cemestery between the main leads wasn't so good. However the second couples chemistry and the side caracters acting made upp for not so great leads. That said the main story was mostly good, sweet and unnecessarily complicated with several known drama trophs.

Another + was how the show tackeld coming out as gay and hardships that can come allong with it as well as homofobia and internalized homofobia.

So definitely worth watching but not something I recommend if you are looking for a masterpiece.

Uneven

I found this film very entertaining in the beginning but the good feeling faded with further watching as the story became annoying and some of the minor characters eclipsed the mains. For example, Heo Jung Min and Kim Seul Gi steal the show every time they were featured as they were much more engaging and also very genuine and funny. The series also had too many characters who were not fully developed and were unneeded.

The main story is about childhood friends who meet again in life 15 years later and, one of them anyway wants to pursue a romantic relationship. They go through the typical back and forth of feeling. There is a lot of physical humor in the film which I enjoyed which include a character searching for a bathroom in this 'walk of shame' that makes me giggle just thinking about it

Oh, the plight of writers of romantic comedies! They do not know what to do when the main couple finally connects and begin their relationship! Immediately work is made to break them up again so we can 'enjoy' the 'excitement' again. The main loser in this back and forth is Oh Yeon Seo who must go through extremes to keep the tension with Ahn Jae Hyun alive as well as the ridiculous love triangle with Gu Won.

The supporting cast in this film is so credible and accomplished! There are many characters in this film who do so well but standouts are Seo Yeon's brothers who were all played in such a superb, sincere manner.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this drama. There were many funny moments, some were downright hilarious. The lead female actress is rough around the edges and clueless at times but when the story unfolds, you can’t help but forgive her, and the main male lead, for what they both went through. Even the doc who I thought was so annoying for awhile but he got a pass for being a good person. It was refreshing that all the main characters in the story are good people. It’s a story about confronting the past, forgiveness, love and friendships, and looking forward not back. If that’s what you like in a drama, you’ll enjoy this one!

My review isnt what it seems

Let me quickly clarify my rating for the 10 rewatch value - im only watching it for Won Suk and Ho Dol (their relationship)

"Love with Flaws" was flawed just as its name suggested. The beginning of the drama garbbed my attention as i found it really comedic and thought that perhaps i would enjoy this drama - I was so wrong. My main issue with this drama was the script even though i had issues with the characters themselves.

The whole battle between the first and second male lead was so pointless but it is still plays a massive part in 99% of K-dramas and i was just tired of it. Both the first and second male lead were problematic and the whole truma concept that this drama was focused on at one point really started to irritate me. Before i continue this is my review and my opinion and i respect people disagreeing with me just dont be rude okay? The truma boils down to female leads mother and fathers death which was caused by an irresponsible driver and the youngest sibling was left in the house when a blackout occured so now he is afraid of the dark, the second oldest male sibling wants to commit suicide and yep thats the whole jist. I appriacte the fact that there is a drama that focuses on mental health but it just got to a point where i found it ridiculous.

I understood that their parents died and yes that sucks, but why is everyone getting blame put onto them? or even putting unnessary blame unto themselves? The female lead belives that she is the cause of her parents death just because she wanted to go over to the first male leads house and thats when the accident occured, when the first male lead finds out he then believes that he is to blame because without him sending that text her parents would still be alive. This was the most bs that i had ever heard. THE ONLY PERSON TO BLAME WAS THE IRRESPONSIBLE DRIVER how is it any of your falut but if you want to feal guilty over something you didnt do sure go ahead! The consequense of this was the most irritating/annoying relationship ever. The first male lead and felmale lead get together (like they always do) and their toxic relationship begins. There was no form of communication in that relationship and the female lead would break up with her boyfriend over anything petty that i swear they break up like 10 times in one episode. To me peronally they shouldnt have been together. Practically everyone in this drama is broken and the fact that these two idiotic and broken people get together made no sense for me. It felt like a person who had never been in love or exerpienced a loss of a loved one teaching and helping another person who doesnt know either : The blind leading the blind.

The only saving grace of this drama was the relationship between Won Suk and Ho Dol the presentaion of their characters was 10/10 and the fact that they both helped eachother to grow as better humans. I would never forget this quote "he was greatful because i was living my life". The love that was shown in their relationship was amazing and i felt that they should have been the main couple instead. The most disappointing thing though was that they unfortunatly were not given enough screen time as i wanted or everyone else craved so that i could see the breakdown and devlopment of their relationship

This very linear, meaning that the same issues were the only focus of the entire drama. It was actually pretty fun to watch since it was mostly comedy. But, I feel like both main leads had very in depth struggles and situations, which was interesting to watch them kind of reflect and heal from those past wounds. I also liked In Ha's storyline the most, he was a really well-developed character. It was really great to see the community be represented with all its issues and struggles. I think it highlights the community even more. His character stood out to me the most, I truly was emotionally connected to him and loved to have been able to see In Ha's last piece of work as well.

Oml this show

ML and FL are insufferable, and I was raging at the 2nd ML the whole time. The first few episodes are build on misunderstandings, which was very hard to watch the second time around, as I rewatched it recently. The dialoge is also pretty questionable at times. However, I loved the family dynamic the siblings have, and was more invested in the brothers' story lines than the main couple. Loved the lgbt representation in this, Cha in ha did amazing (rip), and I also liked that they focused on other characters which quite literally saved this show.

Overall, I think it's worth watching even if it's sort of weird.

If light hearted comedy is your thing, then this is the drama for you. I have been impressed with the great acting by all involved and especially by both leads... Stuffy people................maybe it will not be your thing, although it is exactly what you may need. For others, be prepared to laugh, and laugh some more. The characters are very entertaining, and strangely realistic in their day to day interactions. You will find yourself rooting for not only your personal favorite, but also almost all involved. Each subplot seems to pull you in. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!

Too predictable...

By the 6th episode I already predicted this show so I had to drop it. I understand that it’s a romantic COMEDY so I already watched the show expecting something funny to happen often. But I think the writer got ‘misunderstandings’ and ‘comedy’ mixed up. They are not in the same category at all. It’s actually quite annoying and tiring.

There are other ways to make a comedy show without misunderstandings. Not saying there shouldn’t be any misunderstandings in a show but if it becomes the main drive for the show then it becomes a problem. There’s a list of misunderstandings I could go through and it’s just the SIXTH episode.

Now I’m a more serious drama watcher but I do love a good laugh once and a while so I’m not being biased about this show, it honestly would’ve been a great show if the misunderstandings didn’t snowball into more. It has great representation with diverse characters especially LGBTQ. I’ve never seen a non-stereotypical gay person in k-drama so it was relieving to see a realistic one.

I really tried to enjoy this show considering I love the two main characters along with the female lead’s younger brother because I love the group HALO, but it’s a little too corny for me to finish. I would definitely recommend this show as a STARTER k-drama show, it has all the basics of a typical k-drama lol.

It's boring
Ml and FL kinda boring and dissapointed
It's can be better
For 2019 it's boring drama and I hope someone would do a remake drama so it would be better
I hope it's worth to watch but unfortunately it's not so I just watch a few episodes and it's make me sleepy
They all have a great actor and actress but their chemistry can do better.

A lot of scenes get boring so imma skip and it's even boring after I skip so I decided to stop to watch it and I'm not bothered to stop watch it

i have waited so long for this drama to come out and right now it is a literal disappointment, literally such bad writing and editing within the first 2 episodes. i'm writing this as i just finished these two episodes and you can tell they tried so hard to fit comedy in there by the way it was literally trying to make something funny every 5 seconds and i haven't laughed once. and thats strange coming from me because i'm known for laughing at everything... also the acting is a bit medicore on both sides, and thats strange because i have seen their dramas before and thought they were pretty good... maybe they shouldn't do rom-coms and should just stick to their original type of storylines cus this ain't it. idk, maybe my views on this show will change with time, im just kind of annoyed at the fact that i have been waiting for this drama forever and it disappointed me sooo bad.
