Honestly, what a legit show. THE CHEMISTRY AND KISSES ARE EVERYTHING. And I couldn't help but crack up. I just got my wisdom teeth out and this was really binge worthy but I took my time and it was SO WORTH IT. I really needed a filler show and this was where it was at. It seemed a little odd and far-fetched in the beginning but if you really give it a chance, it's actually such a cute and legit show. Like, WHAT IS THIS COMET? LMAO. Everything kind of moves a little fast to so things are just happening in the blink of an eye but it's such an easy watch. You have two people that meet by fate, honestly. Things just really bring them together and not only that but friendship comes together as well and honestly, the rest is history. It has your fashion, it has your ups and downs and it has a lot going on definitely but in reality, it's just a pure good show.

I loved the ML and FL, they were cute, it was fluffy, their chemistry was just fantastic right off the bat and they really clicked. I love the co-workers, I love the friends, I love the families and even the exes aren't even too bad, annoying, but not bad at all.

The music is great!!!

Overall, I think I would rewatch this show. Lol. The two main leads make the show, they're cute, they match, it's fluffy, they're honestly really sweet and even in the moments that they tried to make mellow and dramatic, they really just worked out and worked well together. I loved all the characters and what they played, I loved the ups and downs. This show is honestly just so very cute. So 10/10 for me, if you need a filler show when you have nothing better to do and you really just want some romance in your life, this is where it is at.

I am new in getting into Chinese dramas as of late but this Rom-com is definitely one of the best that I've watched, causing me to binge watch a majority of the episodes, even downloading the free app to catch up! The 'iQLYL' app I used to watch has ENG subs but keep in mind they are kind of worded odd but still understandable.

TL;DR - All in all this is a simple fluffy, heartwarming rom-com that has more to give the more you watch. If you are looking for romance that's sweet, cute, has just the right amount of comedy and is practically angst free (featuring cute animals), then this is the drama for you!

Although the plot seems childish and weird (the comet name is literally WTF 666... lol) the drama definitely has a lot more heart and love to it in such a pure and endearing way. Like how the leads develop their companionship/friendship/relationship and help each other grow as adult individuals. Being able to see and feel the growth of the main leads was really heartwarming. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this series. The chemistry between all the characters work so well together, especially the main leads (the kisses!! The FL is so cute). Even all the side/support characters won me over by the end in some way. The story although sometimes predictable is done well enough to the point where you actually anticipate to see something happen. Another positive is that the pace of the drama was great. Although some plot lines are briefly mentioned and shelved for later episodes, difficult/hindering situations never drag on for too long.

I do think the series could have been cut by an episode or two story wise but the more sweet moments they give me I will gladly take! Something I think this drama could've done better is finding a better way to portray the "Cat" personality but once watching, I guess I can understand how it's difficult to portray and how each animal has their own unique personality. There are plot holes here and there but none big enough (imo) that break the reality, just small things like, "no way you can get a taxi that fast".

Tom and Jerry but make it a CDrama

Objectively, I don't think this drama is that bad. But subjectively, I really struggled to finish this and small things got on my nerves. I was looking for another body-swap drama after adoring The Day of Becoming You (which I really recommend!!) but the body-swap portions of The Lonely Planet got tiring after the first couple of episodes. At the half-way mark, I was watching at 2x speed until the leads got together (ep 17) and slowed down from there. I still really had to push myself to finish.

PROS
❀ Main actors did a great job in their roles | Yang Shi Ze and Zhang Ling Yi are new to me, but I enjoyed their screen time! I like how the ML has an unconventional face (whoa @ his cheekbones) and how the show tried to make him more than a cold CEO. He loved his dog, was tacky in fashion, and was playful when he wanted to be. I wasn't impressed by the FL's character, but the actress was adorable and had great energy.
❀ Main leads pull off a bickering couple well | I wasn't sold on their chemistry BUT the way they were at each other like cats and dogs was fun. This kind of relationship also lends a casual vibe to it though, which is another reason why I was indifferent about their romantic progression.
❀ I liked the way the main leads got together in a business venture | She's the designer, he's the operations manager. It was great to see them balancing each other out and struggling through the challenges of a clothing start-up. Unrealistic, for sure, but sweet and fitting for such a light drama.
❀ Loved the camaraderie of all the people who had their personalities switched with their pets | There's a frog prince (who wants to be an actor), a hamster girl who can't stop eating/working out, and a turtle dude who apparently goes into hibernation. I wish they had more screen time, because they were so fun to watch!

CONS
✕ Instead of giving more time to fun characters, we get to follow lousy side characters | AKA the second leads. A huge reason why I watched this show at 2x speed was because of these useless characters that I could care less about. Their actors had one expression the whole time and it was ":|"
The 2FL starts out with the ML but they end their relationship around ep 6 when the ML finds out she's been cheating on him and is a gold-digger. For some reason, the show follows her around still afterwards and even gives her a redemption arc!!! Like, pls - get this woman's face off of my screen. The actress was a wooden plank, too, so I didn't even like or hate her. She was just,,, THERE. To fill up time, I guess. Why was this necessary???
The 2ML is someone the FL has a crush on in the beginning of the drama and we get the unexpected pleasure (/s) of seeing their entire relationship, from kisses to an evil mother, all the way to the break-up in ep 11. WHY???? LMFAO I could give 0 fucks about this dude and his evil mom. They tried to make him an in-depth character by giving him a whole arc too ("Mom, I want to move out of your place and end your toxicity"). Again, a waste of my time. Again, the actor himself had no emotion and walked around like a wooden plank. The show tries to get them together near the end but by that point I was skipping through their scenes.
Even the goofy characters of the ML's friends (and the second couple) was pushed aside to make room for these useless second leads. They made the secondary couple meet, date, and get married in the span of ~3 episodes!
✕ Inconsistent and disappointing use of the body-swapping premise | In this drama, the leads take on the personality of the other person's pets, so the FL becomes dog-like and the ML becomes cat-like. The way the writers use this premise is VERY inconsistent, and they played the game of "pick and choose" for what traits would pop up. For example, the FL becomes a loyal dog and her first instinct when she changes personality (or gets upset) is to run to the ML's side. This was emphasized so much in the first couple of episodes, and forgotten about later on. It also didn't make sense that the pets would be feeling the same way as the humans when they were upset (it was just thrown around randomly during key plot points??).
There was also a slight imbalance on the pet traits. It was obviously shown when the FL became Coffee (the dog), because she would start getting super expressive and loud, while the ML only got withdrawn and uncaring when he became the cat. I think there's quite a bit of cat traits to work with (ex: curiosity), but this show just made the ML lethargic/lazy. There's another cdrama called Make A Wish that does the cat-human trope better. It irritated me how clingy the FL became when she was a dog, and I thought it was REALLY telling that the writer decided to make the FL behave like that while the ML didn't have to deal with such a huge trouble. She was loyal to the point of not reading important contracts in the beginning, which was sososo messy.
You might think I'm reading into it, but to me this is just another way of writing a ditzy, naive, immature FL. I don't think her character is inherently that way, but that dog personality really made it seem so, which was super grating.
✕ These characters forgave and forgot way too easily | Someone who plagiarizes the FL is forgiven, the cheating gold-digger ex is forgiven, the evil mom is forgiven, even the sexual harrasser CEO near the end has barely a punishment (I bet he would have been forgiven if there was another episode!).
✕ Misunderstanding level: 3/10 | They happen more than I would have liked but are resolved within the episode or less (even the FL's noble idiocy in the later episode is quickly uncovered). These misunderstandings are because of a lack of communication (ugh) but the leads later on communicate and apologize for them, so there's that I guess.

OVERALL
The Lonely Planet's quirky premise sets the tone for the rest of the show: light and silly. Even the romance is more of the "playful" type than "passionate" type. Unfortunately, its reliance on too many common cliches and the lack of creativity with the pet-personality-swapping plot point made it a miss for me. I was only able to finish out of sheer determination. If the points I made in the CONS section don't bother you, then I'd say go for it, since it's at its core a light/fluffy romcom.

(Note: My rewatch value is set to 5.0 always as a default as I'm not the type to rewatch dramas EVER. Thus, I do not take it into account when calculating overall score.)

An Underrated Gem

Before deciding on a drama, I always check Trailer First. Then the first 20 mins of show. If it interest me, I continue watching.

The only reason for doing that is to not miss out on Underrated Gems like this drama. This was just amazing.

The story, the chemistry, the plot development are all extremely well executed. The business side is Ok. its not great but there is no major emphasis on their work. Its more about the Leads relationship through their work, So I didn't mind that.

Its a must watch.

The story is humorous at the beginning and has an interesting plot; but half way through the drama it started to drag and the Female Lead started to get a bit annoying, albeit she is playing a part of an excitable dog. Towards the end I basically multitasked as I watched the drama and fast-forward to the end. Ending was just as like my fast-forwarding, roughly pieced together to rap it up. I would rate it lower if it was not for the Male Lead who play the cat so hilariously. There are plenty of supporting actors and side love stories; none that interesting. I would like to see the story follow through with the last character who played the turtle as the ending only hinted his involvement with their career.

I actually enjoyed this show more than I thought I would. It was so fluffy and cute. The way the relationships between the cast grew is just so realistic and beautiful. The animals were very cute. The message it gives out is also very heart warming. I especially want to say that the female lead is extremely beautiful and cute in the series! She seriously gained a fan!! I will surely support her in the future.
Even though it may look like the plot is very childish or wierd but it definitely delivered. It isnt anything intense but still it served its purpose.
The only complaints is maybe the storyline had some very small lacking points like the name of the comet (WTF666) and how I absolutely couldn't like the second lead in the first half of the story even though he is a sweetheart. The second couple also moved way too fast that made me super confused. That was a little unrealistic. Still, loved it <3
Please give it a try!

If you like a light hearted comedy drama this is worth watching

I just realized that some of the scenes in this drama is also found it other dramas too such as Dt. Appledog (Go Go Squid 2) :P episode in the last episode of the drama. Good story - full of fantasy - but there are many practical lessons learnt from this drama - especially like about cyberbullying, pursuing your dreams (never give up), friendship, different kinds of relationships (family, lovers, friends, etc). Definitely worth watching! All the actors/actresses did a good job in the drama. It also has a lot of comedy in it too. Mixture of fantasy, science, romance, etc. revolving around the special Comet that hit earth in this drama. Of course it also covers fashion too. Worth watching if you are looking for something light-hearted and not too serious a drama.

If you are looking for a light and fluffy rom-com with a low angst factor, this would be a great pick! The plotline is unique, albeit a little silly. At times, it is somewhat predictable, but that did not detract from how entertaining the show was for me.

I really found the romance between the two leads so endearing and natural. At first, they disliked each other, then tolerated each other and came to an understanding before becoming friends through many challenges together and finally fell in love. The progression of their relationship was plain adorable and funny. Any misunderstandings were resolved quickly, usually within the same episodes and ending in kisses. Even the clothes they wore match each other's so nicely - SO CUTE!

Yang Shi Ze, as Miao Yu, is one fine-looking actor. Where in the world do they find such tall, chiseled faced men with great physiques?!! I don't think that this character allowed Yang Shi Ze to display a wide acting range but all in all, he did a good job playing the strong CEO type who was also nerdy and pretty clueless when it came to romance. I do think that he could have acted out the cat personality better, but being a dog lover, for all I know, maybe cats are typically just sulky and moody. I have added his next show "Lian Lian Xiao Jiu Wo" to my watch list, which happens to star Xu Kai Xin, who played Ray, the sort of second male lead.

For her debut show, Zhang Lin Yi's portrayal of Wang Chen was surprisingly good, and she played the female lead with lots of charm and cuteness. There were moments when I got so annoyed by Wang Chen acting so childish and unreasonable. However, I then reminded myself that that's how many female lead characters are written in C-dramas. Zhang Lin Yi is lovely, and I look forward to seeing her expand her acting capabilities and take on more roles.

There was a great rapport between all the characters, and I was won over by the team Fluffee and the San San/BiGuan pair! As Ray, Xu Kai Xin, yet another good-looking actor played the chivalrous and refined gentleman role well. I have to admit, though, that I did not like the character Li Zhi Zhi, Miao Yu's ex-girlfriend. She was so annoying, and I was so irritated that the show resorted to using the cliché where the two exes get together. I felt that the scenes featuring them were just filler.

Music-wise, they could have done a better job. I thought some of the pieces did not fit the mood scenes, but I did like the ending song.

The pace of this show was good, although I felt that they could have shortened the show by one or two episodes. As mentioned, there were filler scenes that made it a little draggy in the end.

Overall, this is truly a fun and binge-worthy show. It is sweet with just the right dose of comedy. I would probably re-watch certain episodes featuring the main leads since they are just so delightful together!

So I rarely watch modern web drama bec, first- low budget, bad acting, basically just making do. Which iQiyi - a money-grubbing company loves to have. (Thankfully, their web dramas has been improving....) and I just watched this because of my soon to run out iQiyi VIP pass. So I didn't hold any hopes.

The premise is very eye-catching but also very absurd. What in the bloody world is WTF666? Design, I've seen in the photos that the designs don't even look that good. Meh. But when I finally watched it, I was already laughing out loud! in the middle of the night! It has a lot of funny moments and barely has any drama (they fixed all the drama in the end). There's very few misunderstanding and gets resolved easily which I like very much.

ML is the typical unfeeling CEO. His meow-mode seems normal and could probably be improved. 2nd ML is very lovely, he gives off the feeling of a pure soul, making me want to date him and at the same time not date him because it feels like blasphemy, he's like a god.

MC is cute, she did well in dog-mode. I felt like they were really different people. 2nd MC seems hateful, but i kinda like her towards the end with 2nd ML.

Also, might I add that I really don't like ML with established girlfriends even more so for the MC to have a suitor and he even had her first kiss in the series. It was already ep 15 but ML and MC are still friends. But oddly enough, I did not dislike it. I even like it more when they were just friends.

There's only one real villain and one sub villain.

It's a good webdrama to pass by.

An excellent rom-com, funny and romantic ! Don't miss it

Improbable starting plot: a loving comet falls on the earth, and some humans are "contaminated". In their moments of crisis, they will adopt the behavior of the animal they were closest to at the time of impact. Absurd, yes, but the comic potential is strong!!
The first 8-9 episodes are very funny. There are sometimes (often) inconsistencies, behaviors that don't fit the plot, but since the actors are brilliant (especially the ML who manages to convey all the emotions despite his almost permanent cold-face), we stay glued to the screen waiting for the next unlikely situation.

The bugs:
- The ML cat that goes to a cat bar to comfort itself (cats, unlike dogs, tend to be wary of their fellow creatures)
- The ML cat who never loses his calm even in the worst moments (personally, my cat can become a tigress)
- The FL dog that does not become aggressive when attacked
etc;
The timeline isn't always consistent either; the wedding ceremony in a few days for a secondary couple,

The following episodes mainly deal with the company, its difficulties and its evolution.
Finally, we fall back into the eternal liché (which always annoys me deeply), "I'm leaving you for your good"!! I'm sorry, that's not realistic. when you really love someone, you don't abandon them "for their own good". GRRRRRRR

OST'S are good, and the story (totally unrealistic but despite everything, coherent) is well written.
The realization is sometimes a little abrupt, but the main message gets through: the value of friendship, trust, communication, sincerity.

I would like to highlight the performance of the animal actors (excellent) especially the talent of Yang Shi Ze. He is awesome and everyone dreams of having a boyfriend like him!
The OTPs are very cute, there are enough kisses and hugs to make the relationship believable, and we feel a real chemistry in the CL.

At least, an excellent rom-com, funny and romantic

•WE SHOULDN'T BE AFRAID OF FAILURE, BUT BE MORE AFRAID OF THE REGRET WE WILL FEEL IF WE DIDN'T TRY.
•WE SHOULD NOT FEEL SORRY FOR BEING OUR SELVES.
•FAILURE GIVES US BIGGER STEPS TO SUCCEED

these are just some of the things I have learned from this drama, and I am more than happy ?

As you may all see, the plot is very unusual for a cdrama. A comet with a mysterious powers landed to earth brings about wonderful human relationship??? At first i was unsure about this drama, like who will name something very important in their drama like a comet as WTF666??? Are they wasting money for this nonsense? I felt hesitant to watch this, and it stayed so long on my watch list honestly. I admit I am skeptical to dramas before watching, i always make sure reviews are good, it is high rated or in short i have to make sure that I wouldn't waste my time. As a cdrama enthusiast for this whole quarantine period, i have been witnessing the pacing and story development that these silly writers were doing in every dramas that i have watched: meeting of the leads>bickering>falling in love>high dose of swoony scenes> enter ex>either FL or ML will be unreasonable> misunderstandings and 'WTF?!' moments> either: leads end up marrying or just look at each other and leave us up there hanging.

But this drama, you have to see it's really different. I wasn't expecting that drama that i was so hesitant to watch, will make me binge for just 2 Days?! They started off having their own relationships> they met bcs of the comet and their pets> they became competitors on business> they experience break ups, and had no one except each other bcs of their entanglement which is the comet's doing,>became friends>became roommates>fell in love with each other>faced ups and downs in their personal and business life>but finally end up together.

I know many cdrama watchers tend to dislike dramas which only has great first half of episodes and get draggy until the end. But this is really different, the 'draggy' part is on the beginning, but for me it isn't that draggy at all it will make you feel curious why it started differently with them having their own bf and gf, and that curiosity will make you anticipate for the next episodes. Then you will finally understand their whole situation and the importance of WTF666. While watching the drama, i laughed many times, i sympathize with their sorrow, and admire their genuine love and friendship. I can't explain my whole understanding about the lesson of the drama but i feel it in my heart honestly. They carefully made the pacing interesting.

I especially love Miao Yu and Wang Chen so much! I really like their characters. The chemistry they have is overflowing, whenever they have interactions i just feel excited and thrilled. I love their understanding with each other, their respect and the effort they make to fill each of their own and their partner's shortcomings. Their personality truly fit each other. And oh my holy mother earth!! they are wearing matching clothes (not shirts, they wear matching colors and styles!!!) and their bickering as a couple made me envy them very much!!!! ughhhh. I want to label them as the best Cdrama couple that I have ever watched so far!

Even the supporting characters are just equally good.
I really want to emphasize the character development in this drama is on the top. They faced failures whether it's on their relationships, business or attitude. The drama will show how the characters: the main leads and their exes strive to become the best versions of their selves.

The OSTs too! Wow, i really like it and it fits every scenes. The instrumentals helped create the right emotions that every scenes wants to depict.

Unlike other dramas that has its own business story, i love what this drama have shown me. As a business student, i felt motivated and inspired. I actually understand many things from here. I have to thank this drama really!!!

This drama has it's own flaws too, but i just let go of my judgement and watch this freely. But I have to say this drama will be one of my favorites from now on, along side le coup de foudre. This will always have a special place in my heart and like Le Coup de Foudre, will make me remember scenes that made me genuinely happy and thrilled.

Wǒ xǐhuān! Lovely Couple! Crazy Antics! Such a silly yet adorable drama.

While the business part of the drama was super messy, the romance was on point!

Both the ML & FL were super adorable. I especially loved the moments when they were in Lady Meow & Coffee mode. I wish we got see more of Lady Meow's antic, Coffee's were funnier for me. I did enjoy him chasing the laser. I was just surprised with the way they ran their companies though. It seemed like they were playing game and the business part was far less believable. They had 2-3 minor misunderstandings that were solved in like seconds, so you won't be cursing at them for long. Plus points, all the characters are so damn beautiful.

The SML was a mama's boy and didn't stand up for the FL. It didn't really seem liked he even liked the FL for who she was originally. I actually thought the guy was pretty decent before his mother stepped into the picture. The entire thing about humiliating the FL was so childish on his mother's part, they pretended to be above her but showed less class. (Icky, that's how it makes me feel!)

The SFL was complex and after money. She called herself a gold-digger and that's what she was, all people who decide to pursue money at cost of everything else have their reasons, that doesn't mean you should trample on people as you do it. She was so heartless to the ML, that it makes us glad that he got the chance to be with someone like FL, who is very decent. (Not very smart when it comes to running a company, but a skilled designer)

It was interesting to see the open ending for the SML & SFL, they clearly have potential. And the SFL is someone who can deal with the SML's childish mother.
