I'm watching Not Me, it wasn't me.
I've been watching Bl since 2018. My first treatment is Bl Sotus. They will complete 90% of the productions in this sector. There were children I liked. However, I don't like that I like any of them as much as Nor Me. It was an incredible production as much as his acting, not me. In addition to the many productions where we watch too many rich lives and in many stories, things are easy for us, this series is one of the stories about the struggles with our characters that can be created real. There is not only Bl involved, this series is much more. Brotherly consciousness, the possibilities of being together, a counter-view against the present and the underappreciated. You are also a member of the gang. You get angry with Sean, you make sense with painting with Whitela, you make love with No and stay with a friend. I was very hesitant to update the series. Because it was incredibly difficult. One does not know how the other market will come. But all together for 14 weeks, this atmosphere would not be breathing and enjoying the new season. Thank you so much for this kind of production. Lots of love to everyone. You should definitely watch this series. Don't be unwatchable. Was this review helpful to you?

Trust me...it's a MUST watch!!!!
I'm not one of those BLs fans that only watch the shows because of the spicy scenes...but of course we all love them and it does play a part in one way or another hahaha. However, this BL is not a spicy nor a cute romance story. It has a heavily political storyline about a group of friends that are fighting for social justice and equality against powerful forces. The first half of the story sets the base of the plot and tells the story of our main characters White and Black, twin brothers that have a special connection but were raised apart from each other. White is an intelligent soft boy and Black is the tough and protective one (their names were a little too much lol but let's ignore that).
Everything begins when White finds out that his brother Black is in a coma after not hearing from him since childhood. White remembers an old promise and decides to infiltrate his brother's gang by pretending to be Black. He's willing to trade a bright future for a dangerous lifestyle.
The second half of the story is when the romance side of the plot starts to develop. WhiteSean are the main couple of the show, they have a pretty rough start on the first half because Sean and Black always were in conflict, but things started to change after White took Blacks place....and of course it's a perfect enemies to lovers trope, but very endearing and captivating. I was sold! There are other couples as well, but like I said the drama isn't written around romance. It is just one layer of this delicious onion lololol
It was really well written and produced. Hats off to the team here.....really great BL that is not about engineering or older rich guys that have a crush on their younger and slightly poorer "bros" lol don't get me wrong I LOVE those too lol but it's great to watch something COMPLETELY different and enjoy it just as much.
The cast is 10/10, both main and support were incredible....I really can't complain. Gun (White/Black) was absolutely incredible in this one! Off (Sean) was also just as amazing with his performance....you could see that they dove in head first in these characters.
Of course there are some plot holes (as expected) and the show isn't perfect, but overall it was 100% worth the watch!

Different
This Drama is different from anything I have seen before and that's a good thing.I liked the characters and thought it was great that they weren't just tools for the main characters, they have their own good story, highly connected to the one or other character + the story.
Now the story I thought was very good but there were some plotholes I noticed in the end and generally, you could slowly see the tropes from other drama, so I have to say that I liked the first half of the show much more but that's doesn't mean that the rest was bad, no no, it was still amazing.
Let's also not forget the importance of this Drama related to todays political debate and human rights.

You cannot miss this for anything
Let me start by saying that Gun stole the show. His performance alone is reason enough tp watch this. A true work of art,as you can tell the difference between the two characters he plays just by his eyes and his body language. Now, the show presents a story different from what we had seen, starting off a year of more serious BLs. A tale depicting a group of university students that decide to stand up against oppression.
This show is to a certain extent a critique to Thai society, use of power, monopoly, and discrimination. It really shows the reality many people live in but with an element of fantasy that plays an interesting role.
Regarding characters and performances.
Each character has their own views on thw situation as well as a background that you discover throughout the series that makes you fall for them. The acting is insanely good, as the emotions of each of them are very palpable and relatable. The relationships develop and entangle and get complicated as in real life, while the show mantains each characters convictions without attempting to convince you that every action is either right or wrong.
Talking about the production... A work of art I cannot express without spoilers so look formward to an article on the best scenes and references on the series.
Overall this is a beautiful series. That you cannot miss, a true romance that feels like a tale of this time.
Warnings
The soundtrack sucks ass, ngl. But if you ignore it its fine.
Also the advertisements sometimes feel ridiculous.
Also
Gun violence
Corruption
Vandalism
Partial nudity

The new era of Thai BL
I really wanted to write about these series from almost the start but I waited. I will try to write this as much objectrively as I can.The main story is really unique and different from the majorityy of BL dramas, especially from major production companies. We have seen before a few stories of everyday people try to get by, survive and in the end they fall in love. But, major companies rarely make dramas with people challenging and trying to change the system. Actually, Thailand has a great history of uprisings and student protests. It is really hopeful and empowering to watch stories like this, As an active member of different movements and a communist, in the start I was affraid they will glorify or dismiss this believes and fighting. But they actually are protraying reallistic protests and causes. Also, I really liked that the drama doesn´t try to take sides about the team's behavior. They present it and they let us decide if it is wrong or right. Lastly, when I watced the last episode, I was a bit underwhelmed with the ending, but I changed my mind because saddly the world doesn´t change so easily. As for the romance, I really liked that it wasn't the main focus and there was a greater plot around the love of the characters. I don't really know if I like the twin brothers plot but ok... I also wanted a bit more of the female characters. Finally, the drama has great acting. I really liked First's acting and of course Gun, who played two completely different characters. And what amazing chemistry Gun and Off have?
Lastly, this drama feels like a new era in Thai BL, especially considering Bad Buddy and what is coming. We are starting to see that the creators are trying to challenge the sterotypes and the problematic behaviors (ex. non-con, fetishism of certain groups of people like trans etc.). Also, they are trying to make them more inclusive (Yok's deaf mother). Also, here in Not Me we can see everyday people which are poor and work to get by, not the common in Thai Bl super rich boys which feels away from our society sometimes. I really hope that we will continue to walk in this path and make more series that actually represent the LGBTQ+ people.

Another great LGBTQ+ series
This series was another series that kept me watching every single week, I always have to cleared everything to make me free and come watch this series. Honeslty I'm not really a huge fan of OffGun but the story lines kept me keep watching all 14 weeks. I was very confused at first that how can this series continues to keep me in watching it but I got the answer that everything is just great. The story shows the changes that they could make like on politics, LGBTQ rights, etc. The casts were all great they show the hard work they could act naturally and show us the feeling inside. The music was quite in a good mood with the story lines. Last is on the rewatch value, I rewatch this series several times after watching till the end. The story lines keep me able to watch it again without getting bored. I came back to write this review because this series became the best LGBTQ+ series that were able to make some changes in our real world. I really recommend to who never watch this series, it turned out really great. Was this review helpful to you?
Not your typical romance
Starting this series, I wasn't expecting to call it my number one after finishing but god, does it deserve this place. Seeing Off and Gun again as main roles made my expectations high from the start, since Theory of Love proved how good their chemistry is but i dare to say that here it was even better. Not Me story is not your typical thai bl and you have to watch it being aware of it from the start. The tone is much more serious, topics sometimes heavier and there's not as much humor (no funny sounds which you might know from some titles lol). The story doesn't rely on the romance as much, at least not in the first five-ish episodes. Of course, there are some close proximity moments but you can tell that the plot is more important.
What i loved the most about this series was its pace. Usually, shows like that rely on certain checkpoints which keep the viewer engaged, but also can leave us feeling empty after said checkpoint is complete. Here, before getting to one awaited moment, let's say, first kiss, a thing usually awaited in romance series, there is another goal already in the viewer's mind which doesn't let you have a second of boredom or a filler moment. Every scene feels needed and it leads to something (maybe except for some advertisement moments but hey, they have to make money somehow and even this didn't bother me that much).
To sum everything up, I believe Not Me is a must watch for anyone looking for a good, engaging story and I'll surely come back to it.

No matter how many BLs I watch, I always come back to this one.
One of the best BLs I've seen, if not the very best. Gun's acting as both Black and White was phenomenal. The slight differences that he manages to portray between identical twins is so convincing, it feels like there are two actors playing them. The relationship is paced perfectly. Definitely a slower relationship development than a lot of shows, but that's exactly what makes it so convincing. The actors have amazing chemistry and really sell the development of the characters' relationship. No conflict is overly drawn out either, which saves the viewer from unnecessary frustration.
The plot outside of the romance is fantastic. You've got this gang of college students attempting to fight for justice in a way that they see fit, except each individual has their own idea of what exactly this means and how to go about it. Naturally, this causes conflicts between them. I thought this helped to make the relationships between all the characters that much more convincing. You really sympathize with the cause behind why they're fighting, and root for them even when they might not be in the right. Following them through this justice-seeking journey is a thrilling watch when paired with the development of Sean and White's relationship.

This is a thai bl
Offguns chemistry is amazing definitely the part where Sean (aka off) finds out about black & white being Identical twins. Off managed the role of Sean so well, And let's talk about guns acting the way he played the roles of twins was amazzziinnng and kept them balanced while acting. All of blacks (guns) friends portrayed their roles as well. amazing acting and plot and put together to be one of my favorite shows to watch its binge worthy and you'll never get sick of it I loved this one G'MM"TV 10/10Was this review helpful to you?
Dark Political Romance
I should first say that I have see OffGun in Theory of Love prior to watching this so perhaps I have a bias, but wow their chemsitry in this show is amazing. So beautiful. I could feel their emotions through the screen. I honestly cannot believe that this show isn't rated higher than 8.5. There are many great aspects to this show, including the story. The political unrest is so powerful and I felt really moved to get involved more into politics because of it. Also, if you are thinking about watching this show but maybe thinking you shouldn't because its too poltical, trust me when I say I normally don't watch this theme, but it was so emotional and fantastic the way they protrayed it. I won't spoil what happens but lets just say that Gun has some serious duality in his acting abilities. I truly believed when he was playing Black, he was Black and when he was playing White, he was White. Amazing to see the twins on screen together too. Of course Off and the rest of the cast were great as well, but Gun had a good challenge. I enjoyed all the secrecy and fighting too! Lastly, the music in this show also takes it to another level! I love listening to the OST and I am transported into each scene based on what song I'm listening to. I love it. I gave it a 10 for myself, but a 9.5 to other people who may say something is wrong but i honeslty don't know what people wouldn't like about this show :)Was this review helpful to you?

Must watch bl series
I would recommend everyone, new and old bl lovers to watch this series. This one hooked me from the first minutes not only because of our lovely familiar faces but also the storyline. This series is not only about developing love relationship between lead actors, rather it touches social problems like LGBTQA+ community, how power is around people who have the most connections and money, family relationships and most importantly gap between generations. I feel like 14 episode wasn't enough to give a full representation of Thailands social life and changes, but it's also understandable, because all that aside we must remember that this is a bl series and most of the youngsters doesn't really care about these topics and they rather watch cute, awkward kissing scenes.
Next thing I want to talk about is Guns acting in this series (seriously can't wait to see his next project), I can't say he has improved because obviously he was an amazing actor from the beginning, rather he did a great job switching characters between Black and White and he did it so well, sometimes I had to pause because I couldn't believe that it was really him doing both characters. I went back a lot and watched the scene where Black is back to his house and he beats up 2 men, I think that scene was amazing.
Overall these kind of series are changing bl scene a lot in my opinion and standards for the future will be harsher and lot improved. I think most of you would agree that these changes are absolutely necessary and good, because I personally don't want to watch cute concepts anymore.

One of the best ones yet
This is truly a great series, from the plot to the characters, everything was executed beautifully.I love the main couple, although I was a bit confused when they started falling in love, but sometimes love is just a mystery, I thought it was beautiful and very cute. I like how ML wasn't actually hidden in the dark, that he has his own guesses about MC's character. Second cpl is so cute too, though a bit more angsty in my opinion.
The plot twist was interesting, although my gut instinct actually told me this would happen from miles away. I was a bit confused about the motive of this character, and I wish they would've expanded on it a bit more.
Overall, i think the setting of the plot is very interesting, i haven't come across any plotlines like this, especially in bls dramas. And i especially appreciate how they perfectly executed their relationship, without it being purely explicit, sometimes just a glance and a hug can show a lot more than being super intimate.
