Beautiful
It is a very cute and fun BL to watch. It is very unique because it shows the perspective of countryside living verses the typical city life that is seen in most dramas. It is pretty accurate, so I found it enjoyable and relatable. The plot is well done, the soundtrack is lovely, and I would say that it has one of the best kiss scenes ever. The only downside I can think of is that it was too short, but they wrapped it up pretty well considering.Another thing that is unique is Yechan's overly dramatic facial expressions, making the BL seem more like a cute BL comedy rather than a drama.

Romance in a rural setting
Prepare to be swept away by this heartwarming BL series which continues South Korea's trend of producing captivating and delightful BL content. While it may not boast an elaborate storyline or groundbreaking acting performances, what sets this series apart is its simplicity, endearing characters, and the irresistible desire it creates to never let it end.The story follows Seon Yul, a law student who decides to leave the bustling city of Seoul behind and settle in a serene farming town. There, he encounters Suh Ye Chan, a genuine and youthful 20-year-old farmer whose infectious smile brightens every scene. As Yul navigates his new life, Ye Chan becomes his steadfast companion, and their shared experiences gradually blossom into deepening emotions.
The series truly shines thanks to the character of Ye Chan, whose boyish charm injects a delightful energy into Yul's otherwise chaotic existence. Pressured by his father to pursue a legal career, Yul has reluctantly abandoned his musical aspirations. However, it is through Ye Chan's encouragement that he finds the courage to pursue his true passions. Ye Chan's caring and warm nature is simply irresistible, captivating viewers with his genuine emotions and unwavering support for Yul, often rescuing him from difficult situations.
Yoon Do Jin delivers a commendable performance as Ye Chan, effortlessly embodying the character's charm and charisma throughout the series. On the other hand, Seon Yul's character, portrayed by Do Won, falls slightly short of its potential. Yul is a complex individual with a fleshed-out backstory, but Do Won's portrayal tends to flatten the character, missing opportunities to explore its multidimensionality. Nevertheless, the exceptional cinematography skillfully captures the picturesque countryside, elevating the series with its stunning visuals.
In conclusion, this is a series worth watching, primarily due to the captivating portrayal of Ye Chan by Yoon Do Jin. The exceptional cinematography showcasing the scenic countryside adds to the series' appeal. While there may be room for improvement in certain aspects, the undeniable charm and endearing nature of the characters make it a delightful and enjoyable viewing experience. Get ready to be immersed in a heartfelt rural romance that will leave you yearning for more.

ADORABLE!!!
I can't lie, Chan's character did carry this show. He is the cutest golden retriever personified to EVER EXIST!! He was so stinking cute 24/7 and so funny.I liked how this show started kind of spooky, but it was just goofy and adorable.
I do wish the romance was stronger and more focused on, that's my only complaint of the show. It was much stronger on Chan's side, but they were adorable as heck nonetheless!
I highly recommend this series if you're looking for an adorable, quick, series. I cannot get over the cuteness!

So cute
I read the manhwa before the kbl release and I think it's a decent adaptation. There's some elements that are missing but if someone who hasn't read the manhwa, watch this first, they won't really notice it but, again the problem with the kbls it's that they're really short which makes the plot feel rushed and unfortunately this happens here too.Still, it was entertaining and I binge watched lol
I really want to give the yechan's actor a big applause, he did such a great job portraying yechan's personality!!
The ost is really good too and there are beautiful scenes, the atmosphere was really nice.
please give this kbl a try. it's really funny and cute and if you want, read the manhwa too!!!

Silly goofy lil drama lol
Look it is not perfect but at the same time it is lol. Ye Chan comes off as silly in the most possible way but I would go to battle for him *insert crying emoji*. This is a cute lil drama that you can watch if you need something light and fuzzy. The only thing that kept throwing me off was Ye Chan calling Yul bro which in his dialect made it sound like he was calling Yul “ham” all the time at least to me TT. The main leads are so adorable together and hopefully we can see more of them! Ye Chan literally is like a life sized golden retriever. You should watch this if you want something light and easy. Was this review helpful to you?

Simple Mindless Love Story
**Brief Synopsis**B (Chief’s Son): Seon Yul
T (Farmer): Ye Chan
Beginning: B was once a music student but had to give up for family and personal reasons. T is a farmer, living in a village B visits to get away from the city. Because T is enthusiastic and friendly, they start spending more time together working on the farm. Soon T finds himself falling for B, and when he confesses and B rejects him, he vows to make B fall in love with him. At first B doesn’t seem to know what to do with him but slowly he starts enjoying his closeness.
Middle: Thanks to T, B starts music again and finishes a son, something he is very grateful for. After spending more time with T, B finds his heart starting to change as well. He finally kisses him.
Ends: The story ends with B going back to the city to finish his song and coming back after he’s done. The show ends with them back together again.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I really like T’s innocence. When his heart first started to race in B’s presence, he first thought it was some kind of sickness. He’s very straight forward with his affection. He’s not shy to follow B around like a lost puppy. He even encourages B to take up music again.
- No angst at all. No misunderstanding, no lack of communication, just two boys falling in love.
- I love B’s secretive smiles when he think T is not looking. He obviously finds T very cute.
- I really like to see B and T together, they make a super cute couple. The acting is great and the other members of this community are very cute and lively.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT
- This story lacks depth. The plot is simple and angst free, but it is also pretty boring if I you weren’t too interested in the main couple’s relationship. Nothing really happens. It’s obvious the writing didn’t take too much time.
- There is no intimate scene, just kissing.
**Conclusion**
A simple, mindless love story.

Not bad, but the source material deserved more
While the story itself is not outright bad, it felt a little empty to me. The drama is not fully cute and cozy or fully angsty, theres bits of everything. Normally this would make for a balanced story but somehow this BL feels like it's missing something. I dont know how much to fault the actors or the manhwa it is based on, but I heard a lot about the manhwa and expected this BL to be a hit. The kiss at the end is the last mediocre cherry on top for this drama.Another gripe I had with this BL is the casting, while the Seoul guy is alright, the farmer guy feels too normally sized. The manhwa version was a lot bigger and the drama also references him as a person with a large frame. I think that either the farm guy should have been bigger, or the Seoul guy should have been more petite to have some size difference. Not that it is the most important part of the drama, but the size difference was one of the expectations I had with the casting.
Overall, I think the story, characters, acting and length to be mediocre. The underlying message is hard to see and I feel like I will forget this drama quickly. Watch if you are interested, but if you are looking for a solid and memorable BL, look elsewhere.

Soft and Adorable, with a Sprinkle of Drama
The show is so sweet that some reviews say it's too simple. The actors do very well, even those with very little screen time. The main couple develops over time and avoids some old stereotypes. For example, (SPOILER) when Chan finds out Yul is dating someone, his mentor does not encourage him to fight for Yul. In fact, his mentor tells him to do the right thing and back off. The meat of their romantic development comes only after Yul breaks up with his boyfriend. (END SPOILER)
KBLs tend to have shorter run times, and this is no different. As usual, it would have been nice to see more development on some of the plot points - (possible SPOILERs) what actually happened in high school? What really happened between Yul and his dad back then and what finally made Yul want to rebel? Why is Yul having trouble sleeping? (END)
I think the cast was great, the music sweet, and the plot cute. The characters were funny and fun to watch.
Pros:
-- Nice chemistry and the actors looked nice while kissing (which is not something you can always say)
-- good acting, scenery, music, and pacing.
-- Funny and fun
-- Includes a little whump
Cons (with spoilers):
-- Where TF is grandpa? He's away for a medical reason in ep 1 and he never comes back home. Where is he? They said he was fine, but is he? Did he die? Why did he never go home?
-- Minor detail, but Ma's accent when speaking Korean sounded very Italian. It's not so much a con as a quirky weirdness.
-- Would have liked more depth on Yul's relationships with Inseo and his father.
-- Another review mentioned colorism being in the show, but assuming my translation was correct, they really only mention Yul's paleness twice while describing him as handsome. ie, "He's so good-looking. So pale." Every other mention of paleness is about people not taking care of themselves and being ill or needing to rest.

Cute series.
This was a really cute series. The way the relationship of its protagonists evolves was very well done and with great attention to detail.I think some things were missing, such as: deepening the father's story, the grandfather was injured for so long. Even the grandfather's situation became a bit cloudy, it seems that it was forgotten. What could have been more drama would have been cooler. But even so, the story still doesn't lose much from it.
A lot was addressed, and I also liked the way service in the field was addressed, which seems to be difficult. That there are few young people in the countryside. But there are its rewards. I think there's a lot of love to work. Companies think that love of work means being a slave and not doing things with will and dedication.

Himbo goodness
This drama is my literal dream. This drama is what happens when you take one himbo that is gorgeous, buff, kind, and smart in his own way then you combine it with a potent men attractor. There is absolute perfection in its simplicity.Maybe I'm just biased towards himbos but this will probably be one of my comfort watches for a long time.

Fluff show - Good but could be better.
This was a cute show. Yechan was an adorable golden retriever in a human suit and Yul was GORGEOUS but chemistry was lacking for me. Like it was there but not tangible. I don’t think that was an acting issue more like timing and the show suffering from the short kbl syndrome. I wish they would have expanded a bit on Yul's sleeping issues or where the Chief is. Is he coming back? Also, there were limited people in this show bit since it was in the countryside it felt natural and I liked that. The Village Head made me laugh a lot (he also gave me hope in my Korean language training that I will be able to hold a conversation with somebody even if I don't sound 100% fluent, because his language cadence was so different). Overall good to watch once but I don’t I would watch again but I would like to see these two in another show together. Was this review helpful to you?

Such a cute show (worth everything)
Well, what can I say? (Except you're welcome, I'm so sorry) It was so fun and incredibly adorable, I read the Manhwa before watching the show and I can't say that I'm disappointed in any way. They were pretty good at showing the characters and used the scenes from the Manhwa (which, I always love that). How Yoon Do Jin played Yechan in such a perfect way, he was so adorable for the entire show (like can someone please, I can't stop squealing). And how Do Won played such a difficult character, he showed a lot with just how he looks. The way he smiles and then just suddenly drops it when seeing something.
And the OST!!! Coldin will forever be in my heart since Semantic Error and after this show, seriously, nothing of his OSTs can go wrong. Romantic Devil was such a hit (Imo) and this song is so upbeat and happy I burst
So..
When's season 2? (Lmao)
