Goddess Bless You From Death (2025) – EP.10 Review
Finally caught up! 🔥This series is an occult thriller BL that blends supernatural elements with a crime investigation storyline, and it’s been surprisingly engaging.
The story follows Singha, a detective investigating a bizarre serial murder case. The victims are found hanging from a tree inside an abandoned mall, with their eyes and mouths sewn shut using red thread—an unsettling and memorable visual that immediately sets the tone.
At the crime scene, he encounters Toop, a young man who can see spirits. Initially treated as a suspect, Toop gradually proves that his ability is real, and Singha has no choice but to accept it.
What makes their dynamic interesting is that Singha himself seems to be protected by some unknown force. Being near him allows Toop to live more peacefully, creating a subtle but compelling bond between them.
In the beginning, the series leans more toward the occult murder mystery, with very little BL focus. However, around EP.4, the BL elements become much more prominent, especially with the introduction of Singha’s ex-boyfriend, King.
The case itself is layered and spans across different timelines—incidents that occurred 5 and 10 years ago, eventually leading back to a key event 25 years ago in Sisaket province, which appears to be connected to Toop.
Despite having many suspicious characters and complex supernatural elements, the story doesn’t fall apart. It actually does a good job of guiding the viewer through the mystery without making it confusing.
EP.10 is particularly emotional. It reveals that King is not just a cruel or manipulative character, adding more depth to his actions and making the situation more tragic than it initially seemed.
Overall, this is a series that keeps you hooked with its mystery while gradually building emotional weight.
I’d say it’s definitely worth your time.
⚠️ Warning: The special effects (especially the “slit-mouthed woman”) are quite disturbing, so be prepared if you’re sensitive to horror elements.

Loving in Silence: The Tragic Heart of Goddess Bless You From Death
Goddess Bless You From Death is a series that truly surprised me. It delivers a great, well-constructed plot, balancing its horror elements with BL romance in a way that feels natural and engaging rather than forced. The mystery keeps you interested, the horror atmosphere is well developed, and the emotional stakes grow stronger with each episode. One of the strongest points of the series is the chemistry between the main leads. Thup and Singha feel believable, intense, and emotionally connected, which makes their relationship easy to root for. Their scenes together carry both tenderness and tension, and the romance develops alongside the plot instead of interrupting it.
The performances from the entire cast deserve praise. Every actor brings depth to their role, making even morally complex or controversial characters feel real. No one feels flat or unnecessary — everyone contributes to the story.
But the character that touched me the most is King.
At first, it’s easy to see him as cold, controlling, or even cruel. He interferes with Thup and Singha’s relationship, and he makes choices that seem selfish and harmful. I didn’t like him at first — but I also couldn’t truly hate him. There was something more beneath the surface, and episode 7 finally revealed it.
King is not a bad person at all — he is deeply misunderstood. Everything he does, every morally gray decision, comes from love and fear. His father, a powerful man with the ability to destroy lives, has controlled King for years. Disobeying him doesn’t mean freedom; it means danger for Singha. King obeys, not because he agrees with cruelty, but because protecting Singha is more important than his own happiness or reputation.
He carries the weight of hate, misunderstanding, and loneliness silently, accepting blame that isn’t truly his. Even after Singha stops trusting him and breaks up with him, King continues to protect him, quietly and without complaint. And yet, beneath this burden, there is still a child longing for love, for approval, for recognition — something his father never gave him.
King doesn’t ask to be forgiven. He doesn’t ask to be understood. He just endures, silently, loving fiercely and painfully, choosing someone else’s safety over his own happiness every single time. Seeing his story unfold broke my heart, but it also made me admire him — his love is tragic, pure, and devastatingly human.
King is not the villain of this series. He is its quiet, tragic heart, and his story is the reason Goddess Bless You From Death left such a lasting impression on me.

A perfect 10/10!
I wanted to watch this because it looked really intriguing when they first dropped the teaser for it, as well as I wanted to see more of PoohPavel after Pitbabe. This show blew me away. The plot of this show was so good! Everything was well thought out. Every issue and conflict was solved, relationships and character arcs all had a satisfying ending, and the whole show was just so enjoyable from start to finish.I loved the mystery of the show! Everything with the ghosts and rituals was so interesting. The ghosts were creepy as well! I loved getting to see them all try to figure out what was really going on, and I loved that it mixed supernatural with real life murders. I loved that we needed detective work as well as supernatural and spiritual help from Thup. I loved the reveal of the who the killer was too! I loved trying to figure out who it was throughout the series!
For the characters
Starting with Thup! I loved Thup so much. Poor baby has gone through quite a lot. I was really happy he wasn't involved with the murders just because I liked his relationship with Singha a lot. I loved what he brought to the show with not only being able to see all the ghosts, but his knowledge of everything spiritual as well. I absolutely adored his relationship with Singha from start to finish. They were so cute together!
Now onto Singha! I loved him so much! I think he was my favorite character in the series. I loved that we got to see into his past with King, but also his trauma with his family. It was so cool seeing him be a safe place for Thup when he was seeing ghosts. I loved how he was a cop and wish all cops were like him. Seeing him open up more and more to Thup, as well as come to peace with his past, was so beautiful. And like I said before, I loved his relationship with Thup so much.
King! I hated his character so much at the beginning, but they did such a good job with giving him a good redemption arc. So much so I really liked his character in the end. The way he said goodbye to Singha was so mature as well and I really respected it.
I loved Mek, Darin, and Sey as well! I was really happy with how Sey and Darin's relationship played out over the show and liked them as individuals as well. Mek was great as well and I thought it was funny how often he was with Thup and Singha during a flirty moment.
Other things I loved!
-Everyone did a phenomenal job with the acting! Pooh and Pavel especially! Their acting really got to shine in this series.
-The makeup team did a great job with the ghosts and the bodies for the ritual. Truly creepy!
-The OST is PEAK! I listen to it all the time. I loved all the versions of it they used throughout the series as well, especially the piano version.
Overall thoughts
I just absolutely loved this show and looked forward to it every week! I'm truly going to miss it! I have no complaints about it at all. A true 10/10

A Horror BL That is Comforting Me
It’s a bit sad that GBYFD has ended because it became my comfort show, even though it’s horror-themed. The series is a mix of horror, mystery, thriller, and romance. The plot is good, though it’s not overly scary—either it’s intentionally mild or I’m just not easily frightened. I was also mostly focused on the romance between Singha and Thup.Speaking of their relationship, GBYFD feels very different from Pit Babe when it comes to romance. In this series, the love story is a slow burn—not forced at all and very natural. Their kisses and sweet moments are incredibly romantic, and the way Singha looks at Thup is so convincing that you can genuinely feel the love between them.
Normally, I’m not a fan of slow-burn romances, but in this series, their love develops so naturally that it never feels dragged or artificial. Every time they share a sweet moment, I find myself blushing and giggling.
As for the side couple, they have good chemistry, but their storyline is fairly typical. Still, I appreciate that they were clearly written as a real couple, not just friends or a one-sided love situation.
The story is also easy to follow, unlike many other horror or mystery series. The killer was quite predictable—I already had a feeling about who it was from the moment the character was introduced and started acting innocent.
In terms of acting, Pooh has improved a lot, although he’s always had talent to begin with. Pavel is also a strong actor, but whenever he cries, his aura completely changes—it really stands out. There are no pointless scenes or unnecessary characters; everything is connected to the main plot. The production and cinematography are excellent—you can tell the budget wasn’t cut.
Overall, I enjoyed this more than most other horror BL series, although there is another horror BL that I also rated highly.

MASTERPIECE
This stands out as a series that not only meets expectations but confidently exceeds them. With a compelling narrative and emotionally grounded performances, it manages to strike a strong balance between intensity and heartfelt storytelling, "although some actions felt a bit rushed towards the ending but the plot in general was impressive and still kept me tuned"But what truly drives the series is its character work, particularly through its leads. Pavel’s portrayal of Singha is defined by control and presence. He approaches the role with a quiet intensity, allowing emotions to build gradually rather than forcing them. This restraint makes his key moments even more impactful, giving the character a sense of depth and realism that holds the story together!
In contrast, Pooh’s performance as Thup brings a sense of warmth and emotional openness that perfectly complements Singha’s intensity. His portrayal feels natural and sincere, making Thup an easy character to root for.
Notably, in emotionally heavy scenes, Pooh shows impressive range! "i was awed" his expressions and delivery carry a rawness that adds weight to the narrative without becoming overwhelming.
The dynamic between both characters is one of the series’ strongest assets. Their contrasting energies creates a balance that enhances both the emotional and narrative progression of the story, "personally I didn’t like the story arc for the second couple it didn’t make any sense, but i can let it slide and hopefully they get their own series soon."
Beyond the performances, the series benefits from a clear tonal direction. It maintains a consistent atmosphere that supports its themes, allowing viewers to remain fully immersed. The storytelling is focused and while simple in structure, it is effective in delivering emotional payoff.
Ultimately, Goddess Bless You From Death succeeds because it understands its strengths and leans into them, strong performances, emotional sincerity, and character-driven storytelling. It is a series that resonates not through complexity, but through execution, making it a highly satisfying watch!
It's a series is would definitely recommend to someone.
I am looking forward to poohpavels new series their dynamic feels so refreshing to witness. I hope they go far in this industry!

So close to perfection
I really REALLY liked this one. The chemistry between Pooh and Pavel is amazing, and I'm not just talking about NC scenes. They work so well together. The story is interesting too. Its a horror bl for sure. There are mysterious moments. There are scary moments. There are also funny and sweet moments. It had me hooked.
I watched every second on the edge of my seat, until the final episode. Writers. Please. Listen to me. The ending is so incredibly important. This ending could have been better, which was especially disappointing given how good the rest of the show was. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it overall and rate it highly. A better ending gets 10 of 10.

My first Thai BL and it was amazing!!!
First off, I love these actors so much. I have watched this 4 times within 2 weeks. I’m that obsessed with the story, I love ghost detective mysteries and this delivered. I’ve seen some people talking about stylistic choices and other plot issues and I’m here to cape for this show lolFirst, I loved that they focused on small details like making Thup have heterochromia because, in some cultures, odd eyes are associated with people who can see supernatural beings like ghosts and spirits. I liked that small detail and my first time watching I thought it was the actors real eye colors. I have seen people with different colored eyes and some do have a larger pupil especially if the eye experienced physical trauma. My only gripe on the eyes was the 10 year old version of Thup didn’t seem to have odd eyes in the flash back but that’s a small thing.
For the plot holes, I believe the most glaring for me was why not test the DNA of all people involved during the period of the investigation, even the YouTubers? If they had tested them, Bom would have come back as related to the hair on the clay doll they found the night that Ghost Hunt had infiltrated the crime scene. My only explanation was that they had created a profile for a man older than 30 years old since the crimes were happening since 15 years ago. Also, the YouTubers did seem like your typical dumb young adults who did stupid things for clout and views and likely not involved and the cops just wanted to scare them and have their DNA on file for safe keeping in case they did something stupid again.
Another thing that probably blinded the team was Darin’s accident which sidetracked them for a while (which is what the killers wanted). And lastly, the killers’ insane luck played a part. The ritual was both to extend their lives but also take in all the victims’ fortune. Considering that, I get why it was so hard to catch them, it didn’t help that the main perp was also ex cop :/
Another plot hole or weirdness that people mentioned was the Apple Watch not working with King but magically working with Bom. The simple answer is that it was discharged and King kept pressing on the button to try to turn it on but it wasn’t working. Those watches can barely last one full day unless you literally only use it as a watch. When Bom had it, he charged it (likely right at the abandoned mall) and used it to lure the team. As for Singha telling Thup to stay in the car, it actually makes a lot of sense because Thup could drive or run away as he was in an open space leading to the exit and couldn’t be locked inside the building. They didn’t know what they were walking into and didn’t want to risk giving them Thup since Singha was very sure he was the Saturday target. The problem was Thup didn’t listen (understandably since he’s worried), if he had stayed in the car he probably wouldn’t have gotten kidnapped.
Another plot hole people have mentioned was the use of the same crime scene for the new killings. My first watching I thought it was a different abandoned mall with a tree lol. Mainly because the outside of buildings looked similar but had different numbers of floors. The first was 3 stories and the second around 6-7 stories tall (I think). But on my 2nd and 3rd watch, I did realized that it was the same crime scene which makes sense with having to do the process again in the same place since it was interrupted but it means that the team didn’t think to check the original crime scene???
I can only attribute it to them being understaffed and doing everything secretly while the ghosts messed with them. Having the case closed also meant the abandoned mall becoming private property again since the developers wanted it back ASAP (which was the reason for the crazy push to close this case so soon.) I think the team and any logical person would assume that the developers would tighten security but they didn’t :/. In truth, I’m not sure if the production team didn’t have the budget for a second crime scene and try to make it seem like a different one and failed. Or it was just bad plot 😂 I sadly can’t defend this one.
I do have to say that the re-watchability is high on this one and I loved the characters, especially Thup and Singha. Thup is such a flirt, he would focus so hard on Singha at times it made him tongue tied. He would stare into his soul lol, while grilling King. I loved that birth day of the week coin scene because Thup was so possessive. Also, loved the twink top and beefy bottom dynamic, especially because Thup is quite dominant and possessive towards Singha which Singha seems to like 🥰

Acceptance
I stumbled upon this drama and ended up binge watching it. The actors portrayed themselves in such a wonderfully delight, and I instantly wanted to know more about them. I loved how the dynamic of each person in the show brought something to the table. I liked how the ending didn't go the way that I thought it was. I don't want to give any spoilers, but I really wanted one guy to get put in jail just because of his attitude. I also liked how they kind of downplayed the more romantic scenes. You knew what happened, but you just didn't watch it.Was this review helpful to you?
Exceeded my expectations!
My first experience with PoohPavel was with PitBabe. While I enjoyed it, I wasn't overly impressed, so I approached this new drama with some hesitation. However, it completely exceeded my expectations. The plot was well-crafted, with suspense, gore, and murder mystery elements thoughtfully executed. The romance was woven into the story nicely, although it might not be entirely believable – personally, I don’t think we would welcome murder suspects into our homes with open arms. Still, the development of Thup and Singha's relationship felt gradual, which made me very invested in their story.
Pooh has also shown significant improvement. While I didn't think he was bad in PitBabe, I'm glad he had the opportunity to grow and refine his speech. His development is evident in this drama's acting.
The low point for me was the ending, which felt a bit rushed. The fight scene was not as well-executed compared to the earlier ones, and the connection to the whole plot could have used more attention.
Overall, this drama is really good, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys mystery, murder, or thriller genres.
P.s the soundtrack and the OST are so lovely! I thought they complemented the story beautifully.

A Horror BL that's actually scary
This BL truly is amazing. I want to keep this spoiler light so I won't go to in-depth but I really want to commend the series for its balance of the romance and horror plot.I've seen an other review say that they felt like the sweet romance between Thup and Singha didn't work because it doesnt suit the overall tone of the show and I have to heavily disagree. I loved the more or less cookie cutter romance between the two because they were a nice refresher after some of the more unpleasant images of corpses and ghosts. So the romance part was really well executed expecially because there was with the small exception of King no unnecessary drama in their relationship with no real misunderstandings. King's villain arc in their relationship could've easily become overbearing and annoying but they've concluded that part of the story rather quickly.
The Horror Plot was really good tho with one or two minor flaws but still it managed to be actually scary and made sense (for the most part). The ghosts were scary, the real killer/culprit was good if kind of predictable and the music and cinematography added to the overall eerie atmosphere that the supernatural aspect of the show was going for. There was however one thing i found slightly stupid (if i didn't misunderstand that part of the show). How tf did the police not check the spot were the seven bodies were found the first time again? Like all of the victims for the second ritual were just chilling there for a few days and no-one thought hey let's maybe check the last crime scene!?!?!?!?! Yeah idk about that part but I'll forgive it since characters in horror stories typically aren't the brightest.
Definetely 10/10 tho would recommend 100%
