Brought something new and intriguing to the table. A horror BL, say no more

While I am very much aware of the loopholes / drawbacks etc. with everything aside I personally enjoyed the show very much. A show is good when you randomly start thinking about it while being engaged in something else. That is what this BL did to me.

The plot was intriguing, scary, it made me hold my breadth for a long time. The way the writer had put horror, mystery, black magic and romance in one series made me astonished. The pace was amazing. The ending could have been a lot more better as they did leave a lot of point unresolved. It was rushed but taking that into consideration the rest of the series and plot was really well made. The way the case slowly unresolved itself was much better than I expected. I loved how the romance is not the main focus of the series however the actors delivered solid chemistry and it is definitely makes a big part of the plot and integrated well with the whole horror theme. It is definitely on the scarier side but at the same time the plot managed to keep a suspense in it that didn't make the 13 episodes feel boring.

One of Change's best direction and cinematography. It wasn't over the top but it truly brought the scary element in it. There was a lot of hard work that went behind to create all the scenes. The dummies, prosthetic make up, props and everything else that made this drama a sold horror thriller, I want to give my kudos to the crew for arranging them. In behind the scenes I saw the cast going through different trainings like forensic equipment usage to familiarize themselves with everything. That's true dedication.
A big round of applause for the cast. I can see tremendous improvement in everybody. Pavel literally became Singha. I thought I will have a hard time getting used to Babe as Singha but he looked so hot and acted so well as the inspector. Pooh might need some more experience on the voice (Change please give him a voice coach), his expressions were definitely on point. Honestly in Pitbabe for mee PoohPavel's chemistry didn't stand out much but her I fell for them. Topten and Michael came so strong this time. I was so stunned with how much they were into their character throughout. Lee is such an underrated actor, I loved every scene with him. My first time seeing Otto and wow he absolutely killed his role. Rest of the cast also did fantastic job. The actress playing the female ghost was fantastic, deserves more appreciation.

I think this is definotely one of the most well made dramas with a great plot and acting. I wished the ending were better but it's Change so. Even with the rushed ending the world building, plot progressions and acting was so on point I gave it a 10/10.

Haunted by the Past, Saved by Connection

Goddess Bless You from Death is a thoughtfully crafted series that remains engaging from beginning to end. The story follows Thup, a young man burdened with the ability to see the dead, whose life takes a pivotal turn when he is drawn to a mysterious case. There, he encounters Singha, a pragmatic police inspector leading the investigation. Their partnership forms the emotional and narrative core of the series.

What makes their dynamic particularly compelling is the contrast in their worldviews. Singha is grounded in logic and tangible evidence, relying solely on what he can prove, while Thup operates in a realm shaped by the supernatural, holding crucial insight into the case, yet struggling to make others believe him. This tension is handled effectively, creating both conflict and gradual understanding. Singha’s trust issues, hinted at early on, are later explored with satisfying depth, adding emotional weight to his character. Meanwhile, Thup’s desire to remain close to Singha, after realizing that his presence offers protection from the spirits that haunt him, adds a layer of vulnerability and dependency to their relationship.

The progression of their relationship is one of the show’s strongest elements. It unfolds naturally, moving through stages of mutual concern, jealousy, emotional pain, and ultimately love. The writers allow these developments to feel earned rather than forced, making their bond resonate on a deeper level.

The supporting cast also plays a significant role in enriching the narrative. Sey and Darin, who work as forensic specialists and share a complicated past as former partners, bring an additional emotional subplot that intertwines with the main investigation. Their ability to maintain professionalism despite unresolved feelings adds nuance, though their backstory could have benefited from further exploration. Mek, Singha’s trusted colleague, serves as an important bridge between the two leads. His willingness to listen to Thup, even when the situation seems implausible, helps foster trust and ultimately strengthens the central relationship.

King, however, is a more divisive character. While his motivations, balancing familial expectations and career ambitions, are understandable, his decisions often lead to frustration. His failure to communicate openly and his tendency to handle issues independently ultimately damage both his personal and professional relationships. Although his desire for redemption feels realistic, his delayed honesty and assumption that he could easily regain what he lost come across as presumptuous. That said, his arc does contribute to the overall drama and serves as a cautionary element within the story, illustrating the consequences of poor judgment and lack of transparency.

The series also handles its supernatural elements effectively, incorporating them into the narrative in a way that enhances both the mystery and emotional stakes. There are several well-executed jump scares that add tension without feeling excessive. However, certain plot points lack sufficient explanation, leaving some aspects, particularly the secondary character arcs, feeling underdeveloped. The storyline could have been more tightly constructed, with certain elements feeling superfluous and detracting from the overall narrative cohesion.

The reveal of the antagonists may feel somewhat predictable, as their identities become apparent early on. Nevertheless, the deeper motivations behind their actions provide an element of surprise that adds complexity to the storyline.
From a technical standpoint, the show excels in its cinematography. The visual composition and atmosphere significantly elevate key moments, enhancing both the emotional impact and the suspense. The soundtrack, while fitting, is less memorable and does not stand out as strongly as other elements of production.

Overall, Goddess Bless You from Death is an enjoyable and well-executed series that blends supernatural intrigue with emotional storytelling. Despite a few shortcomings in character development and predictability, its strong central relationship, solid performances, and engaging atmosphere make it a worthwhile watch.

Fucking underrated

Damn what a series. Fucking good series. Great story, great acting, great OST. Just series doesn't have some cheesy cringe moment then bl fans ignore those series. This series should be fucking popular but idk why people are not promoting story like this? Idk why this series is so underrated? If u see other bl series then this way much better than. Personally me and thee is worst series i ever watched and unnecessarily popular with basic cringe acting, basic story. I was traumatized after watching me and thee. Dropped after ep 5. So Goddess Bless from death deserve more love from BL fans. Good series always get less fans idk. And bad series get more love and praise. If story is good then i wish then some NC scene but this first series i am okay without any NC scene. Top tier series. 10000000/10

Unmatched Chemistry and Creepy Vibes

When it comes to Thai boys' love pairings, no one does it quite like Pavel Naret Promphaopun and Pooh Krittin Kitjaruwannakul (frequently celebrated by fans as PavelPhoom or PoohPavel). They are, without a single doubt, my absolute favorite Thai BL couple, and their unmatched magnetic bond is the shining crown of Goddess Bless You from Death. Produced by CHANGE2561 and directed by Nopachai Chaiyanam, this series takes a refreshing detour from typical university romances, plunging headfirst into a dark, occult detective thriller that will leave you completely mesmerizedThe plot follows Inspector Singha, a no-nonsense captain of a special investigation unit, who reluctantly teams up with Thup, a 25-year-old temple orphan capable of communicating with ghosts, to solve a string of gruesome ritualistic murders. What makes this show an absolute delight to watch is how effortlessly it blends terrifying horror elements with wonderfully cute romance. The horror vibe is incredibly well-executed, packed with genuine chills, creepy atmospheres, and dark magic rituals. Yet, the moment Singha and Thup share the screen, their relationship becomes so tender, protective, and adorable that you cannot help but fall hopelessly in love with them all over againWhile the drama is an absolute masterpiece for the fans of the main ship, it isn't entirely free of writing hiccups. To be completely honest, the script occasionally stumbles into highly logic-defying territory, serving up a few intense second-hand embarrassment moments. The most glaring example is the sequence where Thup gets kidnapped. The execution of that entire kidnapping plotline feels incredibly silly, forced, and downright cringey, briefly testing the viewer’s patience with how foolishly the characters behave. It is a classic case of fictional "survival instincts of a goldfish" that makes you want to shake your head at the screen.Even with those minor, cringey plot holes, Goddess Bless You from Death remains a definitive 10/10 and a shining example of how to execute a supernatural BL thriller. Pavel and Pooh prove once again why they are an elite tier pairing, carrying the show with their breathtaking chemistry, beautiful emotional depth, and stellar acting. If you love horror atmospheres, dark mysteries, and witnessing your ultimate favorite couple look completely stunning while fighting curses together, this drama is an absolute, unmissable triumph
BTW OST 🩷🫶🏻

A Perfect Blend of Horror, Heart, and Outstanding Performances

A wonderful series, I'll miss waiting for Friday to see the next episode. A series with excellent plots. The make-up used for the “ghosts” is very well done; in fact, I must admit that I was scared quite a few times, but luckily, between one horror scene and another, we also had a breath of fresh air thanks to the love stories. The story between Thup and P'Singha is beautiful, perhaps a little unrealistic, but still wonderful. I really liked Lee in this series, I can't wait to see him again in another series, and maybe as the protagonist. Michael and TopTen, even though they are a secondary couple, did a wonderful job, making me emotional and happy for them. I did hate P'King, it's true, but luckily in the last few episodes he woke up and realised which side he was on. Pooh from Pit Babe has improved a lot in his acting and I'm really proud of him, keep it up.

SPOILER ALERT
I had already realised for a while that Thup's father was behind everything and that he was Thup's father, but I didn't expect Bom at all. While I'm here, I must and want to congratulate Victor because he was magnificent in his role, especially in the final scene, which gave me goosebumps; WOW!

insane chemistry between the second couple

i must say that i enjoyed this series a lot. even tho there were some things that pissed me off the overall was really good. i definitely must praise michaeltopten for their acting as individuals and couple both cuz wow it was amazing. from the start you could feel the chemistry and tension going on between the exes that i even forgot the fact that they’re supposed to be exes. it didn’t take that long for them to solve their issues and i liked that they improved at communication as it was their main issue. toptens portray of emotions was incredible and he really showed what an amazing actor he is. with michael i always knew he was amazing from his old series but i was a little sad that sey didn’t get more scenes that he could show it in but he did a great job with what was given to him and i couldn’t expect it to be done any better. wish that we got more of them in the last episode after what they went through together but it was expected as a side couple. really hope to see michaeltopten as a main couple soon cuz they showed that they could definitely pull it off and really deserve it. i liked thupsingha as well but they already got their reviews so i wanted to focus more on the second couple who also deserve a big praise :)

Another highly praiseworthy milestone for Pooh/Pavel

What a series, and what a dramatic high impact ending! We are used to drama and high stakes from Pooh and Pavel since the two “Pit Babe” series with terrifying villains, deadly moments, but this series topped it all tenfold! Evil sorcery, creepy ghost and moments surely not for the faint of heart, I was glad I watched the blurred version on Youtube. Despite my usually sensitive nerves, I found even the dark scenes bearable, walking just the fine line of too much horror and hope.

Both MC actors Pavel but especially Pooh proved to have extended their range as actors in this most challenging story. Some may say the love story took a bit of a back-seat and while I would agree, it made it all the more memorable. I am sure anyone who liked it, will remember this series for a very long time. In all it set out to do, mix horror, crime and love, they succeeded with flying colors! The last two episodes and especially the last part was a true highlight of drama, with everything at stake and on the edge of a knife, giving the viewer the feeling that all possible ends remained on the table until the very last moments.

One may say, that made the time after the happy ending a bit too short, but in all honesty I didn't mind. Singha and Thup had already grown together and their backstories had been unfolded step by step, that despite this I felt the ending satisfying and didn't feel I missed another extra “all happy” time added to it. It may be regarded as more horror drama with BL, alright, but looking for BL to dare more story, and feeling myself these days bored of “just BL” this was most welcome to watch. A truly cinematic masterpiece that doesn't have to shy away from being compared to any big international series. In the end, mama and papa (the forever homeless^^) found together as if in one more universe. Feeling thoroughly greatly entertained throughout the entire series, great actors I every single role, and Pooh making the happiest happy face there is, I am confident with a

The Bl that got me to watch and enjoy horror for the first time.

When I started this series I was drawn by ThupSingha chemistry and how beautiful they looked.Even from the beginning I enjoyed the teasing and how their love story developed slowly through the next episodes. The opening episode was very strong and interesting.
Can we talk about how cute Thup was and his heterochromia.Singha was a marvel to stare at and his acting superb.
Whenever I looked at Thup's eyes I could tell from his fear that he was in danger. His eyes told it all.The fear, the sorrow, the joy and that's good acting. His little noises were also very cute and I found myself on his side all through the show.I wanted to protect him too.
The ghosts, sacrifices and rituals were all new to me and I enjoyed learning a lot about this in a refreshing and interactive way.The sound effects were spot on.I was super scared but I was excited to see what's next.
I like how this series went beyond romance to a very interesting and gripping plot.It went beyond the boundaries of just a bl.
We were all investigators trying to figure out the next reveal and this was fulfilling.I like how everything unfounded eventually and we got answers. This thriller was worth every minute I watched it.
In short or many words this series is the best I have seen and when it ended I felt I wouldn't find sth as satisfactory. Now I'm rewatching it coz I miss them

Strong premise, uneven execution — but the world they built is worth exploring

The chemistry between PoohPavel works — I believe what they're conveying on screen, even if they don't fully win me over as a couple personally. The premise itself is genuinely compelling: an orphan with extraordinary senses paired with a strictly rational thinker who dismisses anything occult, thrown together into a murder case stretching across decades, wrapped in temple rituals and ancient forces. There's real potential in that setup.
The problem is that the series doesn't always manage to sustain it. It drags in places, and Pooh's character was — for me personally — exhausting in a way that actively made it harder to keep watching at times. Which is a shame, because the world this show builds is actually fascinating.
If you're drawn to supernatural mystery with a Thai cultural backdrop and don't mind some pacing issues, it's worth a look. Just maybe brace yourself for the lead.

The acting is everything, the music is amazing, the plot is mad, the cinematography is perfect, the chemistry between the man lead and the sublead is on fire! You can't pass this, it's a must-watch! Enjoyy!!
