series so good i'd do anything to watch it for the first time again

Call me biased but this series was the absolute best for me in 2025! I know they lacked in some ways, but i really really loved how it turns out. I was obsessed with singsa latai since the very first episode.

I'm actually glad they decided to change darin's character to a man because it adds more chemistry to the story (or maybe i'm just down bad for seydarin lol). Michaeltopten's chemistry is just over the roof I can't get over them. Especially that hospital scene when darin wakes up finding sey sleeping beside him. and that bathtub scene too!

I'd also like to applaud poohs' acting this time. I just fell for thup since the first episode. He was so lost and innocent, i get why singha ends up adopting this puppy. The small details like thup pinching singha's shirt drove me mad. That's just so crazy. I can feel pooh's improvement after pit babe. He did way better here.

almost forgot to mention their addictive OST too. I just listened to pray and loop on loop the whole time the series aired.
overall i'm just so obsessed over singsa latai, i am never moving on. I will rewatch until the end of time. or until we get that michaeltopten series we've been waiting too long for.

The horror aspects and the suspense were so good it wouldn't even matter if this wasn't a BL.

I have to admit, having seen way too many real crime investigations, at first I cringed... But the moment I told myself it wasn't about the accurency and just went with the flow, it got me hooked. And the supernatural aspect just blew my mind. The BL was there, and plenty of it, but could have been a bromance for all I care, because the storyline was so good it didn't need the BL to save it. The special effects were spot on. The acting was good. Asian supernatural creatures are just amazing, we Western people got werewolves, vampires and a few ghosts, but Asian culture has so much more depth, perfect for these kind of stories... The only thing I feel bad about is that I've never Rewatched crime series, because knowing the plot, knowing the end, is a bummer... So for me to say, I will definitely re-watch, indicates just how good this is.

Goddess Bless You From Death — When a BL Becomes Something Bigger Than Romance

I went into this expecting a BL. What I got was something way more interesting — a dark fantasy / crime mystery that just happens to have a queer romance inside it. And honestly? That’s why it worked so well for me.

This drama doesn’t feel like it’s trying to sell you a couple. It feels like it’s trying to tell a story first. The romance is there, but it breathes naturally inside the plot instead of being forced into every scene. The world is heavy, spiritual, violent sometimes, and deeply emotional. The story follows a murder investigation mixed with supernatural elements, with Thup — a man who can see ghosts — and Singha — a police inspector tied to fate and protection — pulled into something way bigger than themselves.

And that tone matters. Because this isn’t soft romance fantasy. It’s closer to horror-mystery with emotional tension sitting under everything. That constant feeling that something is wrong, something is watching, something is inevitable… it stays with you. And when the emotional beats hit, they hit harder because the world already feels dangerous.

What really made this work is the chemistry between Pooh and Pavel. Not “fanservice chemistry”. Real, quiet, grounded connection. The kind where you don’t need big declarations because you can feel it in how they look at each other, how they move around each other, how the tension just sits there in silence.

And I think that’s why this drama feels like “a normal drama with queer characters” instead of “a BL trying to be serious”. The relationship isn’t sanitized. The tension is physical, sometimes messy, sometimes very direct — which honestly feels closer to real adult gay relationships than the super slow, innocent fantasy style we often get.

If I’m being honest about why I didn’t give it a perfect score, it’s because I could see where the story could have gone further. Some mythology threads could have been pushed deeper. Some emotional reveals could have hit harder if they were tied back into earlier plot points more tightly. But that might also just be me being used to heavy fantasy world-building and wanting everything to connect perfectly.

Emotionally though? It worked. The story feels haunting in that quiet way — not loud tragedy, but the kind that sits in your chest after you finish. And that’s why the rewatch value is weirdly lower than the quality. Because once you know the truth, once you understand the emotional core and the mystery, the shock is gone. And this story lives a lot in that discovery.

This is one of those dramas that proves BL doesn’t have to feel like BL to be meaningful. It can be horror. It can be fantasy. It can be crime. And the romance can exist naturally inside that world instead of being the whole point.

And honestly, that’s why it stayed with me. Not because it was perfect. But because it felt real inside something unreal.

More than just a horror drama, this series is a visceral study of silence and power. Visually, it is incredibly potent; the makeup and special effects teams deserve a standing ovation. Those stitched bodies, eyes and mouths sealed shut, transcend mere aesthetic gore. They represent the systematic theft of identity and justice. The victims aren't just losing their lives; they are being robbed of their final chance to be heard or remembered.

What I found most fascinating was the treatment of spirituality. The series avoids the cheap cliché of mocking the supernatural; instead, it presents the spiritual world as something everyday and, at times, even comforting. The true horror doesn't come from the beyond, but from characters like Bom, who demonstrate how faith, when used to justify the unjustifiable, transforms into an absolute weapon of control.

At the epicenter of this tragedy is Thup. It’s heartbreaking to watch how his gift, acting as a bridge between the dead and the truth, ends up making him the prime suspect in a rotting system. It’s a constant reminder that in a corrupt world, trying to give a voice to the forgotten puts a target on your back.

Narrative Balance: I truly appreciated that the romance between Thup and Singha remained in the background. In such a suffocating atmosphere, a forced "lovey-dovey" subplot would have shattered the necessary tension.

Character Dynamics: Ironically, the secondary couple (Darin and Sey) felt much more solid and well-developed. Darin’s unconditional love, contrasted with Sey’s emotional blindness, provided a much-needed human layer to the chaos.

Loose Ends: The disappearance of King and the unresolved father-son conflict still bugs me. Was there high-level corruption to cover up the case? Most likely, but the script chooses to leave us with that unsettling ambiguity.

Performance: Pooh still has a long way to go with his diction before he can be considered a top-tier actor, but his facial expressions are spot-on. He conveys exactly what the character needs through his eyes alone.

A raw journey about what it means to die twice: first physically, and then through imposed silence. A must-watch if you’re looking for horror with actual substance.

ITS SO FUNNNNN!!

Ahhhhh the ending could've been done better. I will say this right off the bat. It needed something more climactic for sure.

That said, its SO fun to watch. Thup's "curse" is executed so well and I was genuinely so scared in a lot of the episodes 🤣🤣. The ghost element is tied in very well and I also really like how Thup seems to know a lot about different rituals and helps along with the investigation.

On that note: the investigation scenes could've used better writing. I feel like they weren't asking enough questions? Though I can attribute that to nobody knowing WHAT to ask because of the nature of the crime (and also where Thup comes in). I also think people should've been more suspicious of Thup in the beginning lmao (he's literally the only one on the scene of the crime).

Now onto the romance. I'm surprised people found it odd. I personally LOVED Thup's forwardness and downright cockiness, and I loved seeing Singha just give in eventually. Their romance is like a fresh breeze to the investigation, and I like how Singha is selfless when it comes to protecting Thup and wants to really help him however he can. Pavel's portrayal of Singha is honestly so so good, I would even say he portrays Singha better than Pooh portrays Thup. (Though I ADORE Thup.)

I did not find myself bored even once, and I was constantly hooked by the plot, the story, the romance. This is one series where I LIKE that the romance is almostttt a sub-plot. They really tried to show a well-done crime plot and I can respect that.

While the ending needed to be written better, this series is definitelyyyyyy worth a watch, and even a rewatch if you enjoy horror-esque shows.

A story that pulls you into the dark

It feels like everything I’ve been wanting from a BL that actually dares to step outside the usual formula. The plot itself is incredibly interesting, blending a long-running murder case with supernatural elements, rituals, and faith in a way that keeps you constantly curious about how everything connects. The crime scenes are genuinely chilling, the ghosts are unsettling, and there’s always this underlying tension that makes it hard to fully relax while watching. I really appreciated how the story balances mystery and horror with more emotional moments, giving space for both the investigation and the connection between the characters without one overshadowing the other. The dynamic between Thup and Singha is what really carries the drama, that contrast between belief and logic creates a strong push and pull that naturally evolves over time. Pavel stands out as Singha, controlled and grounded, while Pooh brings depth and vulnerability to Thup, especially through his ability to see spirits, and their chemistry feels magnetic without needing to be overdone. The pacing stays engaging, supported by music and visuals that lean into darker, more cinematic tones, even if at times things can feel a bit confusing or not fully explained. Still, the originality of the concept and the atmosphere make it a very compelling watch, especially if you’re looking for something different within the genre

Not a horror fan, but this was great!

As someone who is not a fan of horror movies or series in general I was going to skip this, but after seeing a lot of positive feedback I decided to watch a couple of episodes, and yeah I had to watch it till the end.

First of all I'm always a fan when I can see actors develop. I wasn't a fan of PitBabe and mainly watched it for the second couple, because I felt Pavel and Pooh both needed bit more work with their acting (skipped season 2 all together). In this show, they just nailed their individual roles and the chemistry in general was soooo much better. Kudos also for the secondary pair, Micheal and TopTen did very well.

In terms of the story line, while I did have to skip around some of the very creepy scenes. the plot held together to the end and the length of 13 episodes was just perfect for the show. This was never going to be my favorite show bc of the horror elements, but as a crime/horror show it really kept me hooked until the end. If you are very sensitive horror and gore elements in general, this isn't it for you. However if you can tolerate those elements to some degree or even prefer them in a series I would watch this.

Almost as good as Khemjira

I binged watched this series and I am so glad that i waited for it to finish before watching it. I am a huge fan of alternative bls, we definitely need more of them. I have only two BL's that rank higher than this in my mind and that is Khemjira and Not me! I understand why some people feel the series lost some traction at the end and is entitled to their opinion, for me I really enjoyed the way it ended and if a series can make you cry then for me it has done it's Job. I am really looking forward to more series with this couple as i think they have great chemistry together. We certainly need more alternative BLS and it seems like they are getting better at them. we cant forget that these are supposed to be BLs and so are somewhat expected to be different to Gay Romance Drama/thrillers etc.

This is just my opinion on things. if anyone can recommend any more alternative BLS please let me know.

Another Khemjira disappointment

I'm gonna judge this so hard so buckle up or just skip my review~

I love horror and this started off pretty well till they started to do some stuff that didn't make any sense and spoils the whole thing for me.

What i really liked is
1-the makeup and visual effects, the ghosts looked genuinely scary and all the victims and dead were very believable.
2-the story, but not the storylines, weird i know but the idea on paper looks so good, i think it went downhill because of the direction, and the characters were written in a very bad way.

What i didn't like:
1-chararacters, i don't understand what's the idea of giving a very not talanted actors the leading roles in a genre that doesn't fit them, I'm sorry but pooh is poorly talanted, still better than others and he is getting better than in his previous work i have to admit, however my sweet boy had only one facial expression if not scared, he looked at pavel as if he'll jump him any second and that's it, i guess he'd fit in a high school romance maybe, also pavel despite doing well, he looked so young i couldn't take him seriously, this is the leader of the investigation team?? No way.

2- some illogical mistakes, how can you, while investigating a serial crime scenes with a killer on the loose, take a kid, who was a suspect/witness, and let him live in your house, share highly sensitive evidences with, let him know the investigation process and moreover visit crime scenes, victims homes and even give you tips and ideas about how to do your job and what to do next!!! Wtf, mate, this ain't Disneyland!! Let him go, i see no point of him being with him except that they don't have any other way for the 2 leads to be together so we'll just let them live together.

And I'm not even going to talk about how more than half the show it's about the characters relationship not the crime, nor that mushy coroner and his pink haired lover and how he added nothing to the story except getting hurt and being annoying.

I think they should get a korean director maybe, because thai is superior in the horror genre but not the horror bl maybe ~

Goddess Bless You from Death was overall okay for me

Goddess Bless You from Death was overall okay for me. The production quality was good, and the acting was decent.

It feels like the series aimed to reach the same level of horror intensity as Khemjira, and while it got close at times, there were moments that took away from the tension.

I’m not sure if I was just too distracted by the main leads (they’re a bit too attractive for their own good 😅), but it sometimes pulled me out of the experience.

Still, it’s a good watch overall — I’d rate it around 7.5/10.

Pairing makes the Series better

I watched this pretty quickly over the course of a few days and found myself enjoying the pairing’s dynamic. I’m a huge fan of horror/thriller/investigative dramas and this one turned out pretty good.

What I enjoyed:
-pairing dynamic
-romance
-the mystery
-supporting characters

What just missed:
-the story started off strong but rushed the last episode
-the romance was the opposite of slow burn, the lead up was a bit too quick

I’d recommend this, would also rewatch it!!
