MASTERPIECE

This stands out as a series that not only meets expectations but confidently exceeds them. With a compelling narrative and emotionally grounded performances, it manages to strike a strong balance between intensity and heartfelt storytelling, "although some actions felt a bit rushed towards the ending but the plot in general was impressive and still kept me tuned"
But what truly drives the series is its character work, particularly through its leads. Pavel’s portrayal of Singha is defined by control and presence. He approaches the role with a quiet intensity, allowing emotions to build gradually rather than forcing them. This restraint makes his key moments even more impactful, giving the character a sense of depth and realism that holds the story together!
In contrast, Pooh’s performance as Thup brings a sense of warmth and emotional openness that perfectly complements Singha’s intensity. His portrayal feels natural and sincere, making Thup an easy character to root for.
Notably, in emotionally heavy scenes, Pooh shows impressive range! "i was awed" his expressions and delivery carry a rawness that adds weight to the narrative without becoming overwhelming.
The dynamic between both characters is one of the series’ strongest assets. Their contrasting energies creates a balance that enhances both the emotional and narrative progression of the story, "personally I didn’t like the story arc for the second couple it didn’t make any sense, but i can let it slide and hopefully they get their own series soon."
Beyond the performances, the series benefits from a clear tonal direction. It maintains a consistent atmosphere that supports its themes, allowing viewers to remain fully immersed. The storytelling is focused and while simple in structure, it is effective in delivering emotional payoff.
Ultimately, Goddess Bless You From Death succeeds because it understands its strengths and leans into them, strong performances, emotional sincerity, and character-driven storytelling. It is a series that resonates not through complexity, but through execution, making it a highly satisfying watch!
It's a series is would definitely recommend to someone.
I am looking forward to poohpavels new series their dynamic feels so refreshing to witness. I hope they go far in this industry!

So close to perfection

I really REALLY liked this one. The chemistry between Pooh and Pavel is amazing, and I'm not just talking about NC scenes. They work so well together.

The story is interesting too. Its a horror bl for sure. There are mysterious moments. There are scary moments. There are also funny and sweet moments. It had me hooked.

I watched every second on the edge of my seat, until the final episode. Writers. Please. Listen to me. The ending is so incredibly important. This ending could have been better, which was especially disappointing given how good the rest of the show was. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it overall and rate it highly. A better ending gets 10 of 10.

Exceeded my expectations!

My first experience with PoohPavel was with PitBabe. While I enjoyed it, I wasn't overly impressed, so I approached this new drama with some hesitation. However, it completely exceeded my expectations.

The plot was well-crafted, with suspense, gore, and murder mystery elements thoughtfully executed. The romance was woven into the story nicely, although it might not be entirely believable – personally, I don’t think we would welcome murder suspects into our homes with open arms. Still, the development of Thup and Singha's relationship felt gradual, which made me very invested in their story.

Pooh has also shown significant improvement. While I didn't think he was bad in PitBabe, I'm glad he had the opportunity to grow and refine his speech. His development is evident in this drama's acting.

The low point for me was the ending, which felt a bit rushed. The fight scene was not as well-executed compared to the earlier ones, and the connection to the whole plot could have used more attention.

Overall, this drama is really good, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys mystery, murder, or thriller genres.

P.s the soundtrack and the OST are so lovely! I thought they complemented the story beautifully.

A Horror BL that's actually scary

This BL truly is amazing. I want to keep this spoiler light so I won't go to in-depth but I really want to commend the series for its balance of the romance and horror plot.

I've seen an other review say that they felt like the sweet romance between Thup and Singha didn't work because it doesnt suit the overall tone of the show and I have to heavily disagree. I loved the more or less cookie cutter romance between the two because they were a nice refresher after some of the more unpleasant images of corpses and ghosts. So the romance part was really well executed expecially because there was with the small exception of King no unnecessary drama in their relationship with no real misunderstandings. King's villain arc in their relationship could've easily become overbearing and annoying but they've concluded that part of the story rather quickly.

The Horror Plot was really good tho with one or two minor flaws but still it managed to be actually scary and made sense (for the most part). The ghosts were scary, the real killer/culprit was good if kind of predictable and the music and cinematography added to the overall eerie atmosphere that the supernatural aspect of the show was going for. There was however one thing i found slightly stupid (if i didn't misunderstand that part of the show). How tf did the police not check the spot were the seven bodies were found the first time again? Like all of the victims for the second ritual were just chilling there for a few days and no-one thought hey let's maybe check the last crime scene!?!?!?!?! Yeah idk about that part but I'll forgive it since characters in horror stories typically aren't the brightest.

Definetely 10/10 tho would recommend 100%

Brought something new and intriguing to the table. A horror BL, say no more

While I am very much aware of the loopholes / drawbacks etc. with everything aside I personally enjoyed the show very much. A show is good when you randomly start thinking about it while being engaged in something else. That is what this BL did to me.

The plot was intriguing, scary, it made me hold my breadth for a long time. The way the writer had put horror, mystery, black magic and romance in one series made me astonished. The pace was amazing. The ending could have been a lot more better as they did leave a lot of point unresolved. It was rushed but taking that into consideration the rest of the series and plot was really well made. The way the case slowly unresolved itself was much better than I expected. I loved how the romance is not the main focus of the series however the actors delivered solid chemistry and it is definitely makes a big part of the plot and integrated well with the whole horror theme. It is definitely on the scarier side but at the same time the plot managed to keep a suspense in it that didn't make the 13 episodes feel boring.

One of Change's best direction and cinematography. It wasn't over the top but it truly brought the scary element in it. There was a lot of hard work that went behind to create all the scenes. The dummies, prosthetic make up, props and everything else that made this drama a sold horror thriller, I want to give my kudos to the crew for arranging them. In behind the scenes I saw the cast going through different trainings like forensic equipment usage to familiarize themselves with everything. That's true dedication.
A big round of applause for the cast. I can see tremendous improvement in everybody. Pavel literally became Singha. I thought I will have a hard time getting used to Babe as Singha but he looked so hot and acted so well as the inspector. Pooh might need some more experience on the voice (Change please give him a voice coach), his expressions were definitely on point. Honestly in Pitbabe for mee PoohPavel's chemistry didn't stand out much but her I fell for them. Topten and Michael came so strong this time. I was so stunned with how much they were into their character throughout. Lee is such an underrated actor, I loved every scene with him. My first time seeing Otto and wow he absolutely killed his role. Rest of the cast also did fantastic job. The actress playing the female ghost was fantastic, deserves more appreciation.

I think this is definotely one of the most well made dramas with a great plot and acting. I wished the ending were better but it's Change so. Even with the rushed ending the world building, plot progressions and acting was so on point I gave it a 10/10.

A Perfect Blend of Horror, Heart, and Outstanding Performances

A wonderful series, I'll miss waiting for Friday to see the next episode. A series with excellent plots. The make-up used for the “ghosts” is very well done; in fact, I must admit that I was scared quite a few times, but luckily, between one horror scene and another, we also had a breath of fresh air thanks to the love stories. The story between Thup and P'Singha is beautiful, perhaps a little unrealistic, but still wonderful. I really liked Lee in this series, I can't wait to see him again in another series, and maybe as the protagonist. Michael and TopTen, even though they are a secondary couple, did a wonderful job, making me emotional and happy for them. I did hate P'King, it's true, but luckily in the last few episodes he woke up and realised which side he was on. Pooh from Pit Babe has improved a lot in his acting and I'm really proud of him, keep it up.

SPOILER ALERT
I had already realised for a while that Thup's father was behind everything and that he was Thup's father, but I didn't expect Bom at all. While I'm here, I must and want to congratulate Victor because he was magnificent in his role, especially in the final scene, which gave me goosebumps; WOW!

No bloody thanks

Horror no thanks! Skipped a few episodes and probably didn't finish it.

I think it had potential if i was horror fan but i definitely couldn't watch this at all.

Overall it is not a good show for me personally. Not great but good. And I may But this is definitely a first in the realm of BLs. Even though it is not perfect, it does open a trailblazing path to a whole new world of shows in the Y industry.

The Bl that got me to watch and enjoy horror for the first time.

When I started this series I was drawn by ThupSingha chemistry and how beautiful they looked.Even from the beginning I enjoyed the teasing and how their love story developed slowly through the next episodes. The opening episode was very strong and interesting.
Can we talk about how cute Thup was and his heterochromia.Singha was a marvel to stare at and his acting superb.
Whenever I looked at Thup's eyes I could tell from his fear that he was in danger. His eyes told it all.The fear, the sorrow, the joy and that's good acting. His little noises were also very cute and I found myself on his side all through the show.I wanted to protect him too.
The ghosts, sacrifices and rituals were all new to me and I enjoyed learning a lot about this in a refreshing and interactive way.The sound effects were spot on.I was super scared but I was excited to see what's next.
I like how this series went beyond romance to a very interesting and gripping plot.It went beyond the boundaries of just a bl.
We were all investigators trying to figure out the next reveal and this was fulfilling.I like how everything unfounded eventually and we got answers. This thriller was worth every minute I watched it.
In short or many words this series is the best I have seen and when it ended I felt I wouldn't find sth as satisfactory. Now I'm rewatching it coz I miss them

Strong premise, uneven execution — but the world they built is worth exploring

The chemistry between PoohPavel works — I believe what they're conveying on screen, even if they don't fully win me over as a couple personally. The premise itself is genuinely compelling: an orphan with extraordinary senses paired with a strictly rational thinker who dismisses anything occult, thrown together into a murder case stretching across decades, wrapped in temple rituals and ancient forces. There's real potential in that setup.
The problem is that the series doesn't always manage to sustain it. It drags in places, and Pooh's character was — for me personally — exhausting in a way that actively made it harder to keep watching at times. Which is a shame, because the world this show builds is actually fascinating.
If you're drawn to supernatural mystery with a Thai cultural backdrop and don't mind some pacing issues, it's worth a look. Just maybe brace yourself for the lead.

Started off quite well, good script, enough eye candies, and gives you the jitters alright

I like that we are getting so many horror-suspense themed BL dramas these days....and this landed right on Halloween night, so I guess they timed it like that intentionally. Frankly, I wasn't expecting a lot from this one and started watching simply because I was intrigued by the synopsis and trailer earlier, but I actually ended up liking the first episode quite a bit.

It started off really well...leaving out a few logical loopholes here and there, which us BL watchers are mostly seasoned to by now, its pretty well scripted, and believable...acting, cast, production values, make-up, sets, all of it is quite good too. I think the scares are pretty good too, comparing with other Thai BL shows.

While I haven't watch Pit Babe, I like the lead pair's chemistry in this one so far. Also, Pavel is looking delish as SIngha, and so is the guy who plays King.....it seems like Singha and King have some beef from how Singha was staring daggers....I have a hunch that King may be part of the bad guys.

All in all, I would say it's safe to watch.

A Beautiful Masterpiece

Complete honest review: The acting was truly exceptional, and every scene felt carefully executed with genuine emotion and depth. Every actor brought something memorable to the story, making the characters feel alive rather than simply written roles.

PoohPavel once again proved why they are such an unforgettable duo. Their chemistry feels effortless and natural, never forced, which makes every interaction between them even more powerful. What makes them stand out is not only their romantic chemistry, but the way they communicate emotions through the smallest details — their eyes, expressions, silence, tension, vulnerability, and even the way they look at each other. You can genuinely feel every emotion they are trying to portray, which makes the connection between their characters incredibly moving and believable. They do not just act out scenes; they make you emotionally experience them with them.

The story itself was deeply immersive and emotionally gripping. Even though the genre is horror mostly but it pulled me into its world so naturally that I found myself completely invested in every moment, every conflict, and every emotional turn. The pacing, emotional build-up, and intensity kept the story engaging throughout, while still allowing important moments to breathe and leave an impact. It is the kind of series that makes you think about the characters and their emotions even after finishing an episode.

The cinematography and VFX were absolutely stunning. Every shot felt intentional and visually beautiful, enhancing the emotions and atmosphere of the story perfectly. The visuals were not only aesthetically pleasing but also helped strengthen the emotional weight of many scenes.
