Disappointment
I had high hopes for this long-awaited BoatOat project, but it fell through on many levels. BoatOat were their usual sexy/cute selves, but the story, the script, the subs, some of the actors, the continuity were dreadful....The NC moments were the only things keeping this show together for the Fujos.
Rul, who played Nakhun's mother, was very good, but the other older actors were quite shallow.
Whoever was 'dressing' the cast did a brilliant job of making everyone glamourous.
Such a pity it was so bad - I played a lot of it at 1:25 playback, and even skipped or went to 1:5 at times.
I hope BoatOat get a better project next time around, as they make a great couple.

major waste of time.
This thing had alot of potential to begin with , but after ep 2 it was all downhill. The characters are mostly flat , the story is basicly non existent in its over arcing plot which the romance sorta takes a backburner to in mid-late episodes tho its hard to say there was actually any real romance at all. the feelings of the characters are more spoken than shown for the most part with the exception of the NC scenes which are sadly some of the better acted parts of this show. thats not to say the actors didn't do the best with what they were given i think they really did at times , but when your given overly repetitive dialog every episode often times in the same episode theres only so much you can do. the side couples had more going for them alot of times than the main couple as well but even then the writing is just so poor that in the end there was no particularly good outcome too any of them .Was this review helpful to you?
Could have been better
I was really looking forward to Knot because the story had a lot of potential, especially as a Thai BL Omegaverse series. Unfortunately, the execution fell far short of my expectations.The directing is the biggest weakness of the series. Many scenes feel lifeless and lack emotional impact. Instead of drawing viewers into the story, the pacing and scene transitions often feel awkward, as if they weren't carefully planned or properly executed.
The cast also needs stronger acting to fully bring their characters to life. While some moments show promise, the performances overall don't convey the depth of emotion the story requires, making it difficult to connect with the characters.
It's disappointing because the plot itself is interesting and could have been something special. With better direction, stronger performances, and more carefully planned scenes, this series could have delivered a much more engaging experience.

Just anything in name of ABO?
I don't understand the random plot it's like they started and then forget and then started fresh. Acting seems off for almost all characters (except in few scenes) that little girl popped out of nowhere to ask personal questions while they don't even know each other?She was there in the previous ep and they didn't even acknowledge each other that means they don't know each other or just this encounter was enough 😆😅idk ig if someone wants to watch it without using their brain then fine otherwise 😮💨
when I watched the trailer I had a little bit high hopes but now I just hope they can pull the story together in coming episodes or else it's won't be worth watching.

Take it for what it is
We all knew going in that this was going to be a BoatOat guilty pleasure BL with a whatsapp novel feel to it. It's subgenre malepreg fanfic at it's finest. If you go in expecting more than you should, you may be disappointed. But if you go in knowing exactly what it is and why you are watching it, you're going to love it. Plainly put, look forward to that over the top naughtiness we came to love in My Stubborn while getting our Alpha/Omega itch scratched as well. And try your best to ignore Folk's acting in the process.Was this review helpful to you?
Is BL/gay romance losing its identity?
One cannot help but mourn the present state of "romantic" fiction. Gone are the days when love did kindle slow and true between men. In their stead, we are presented with the "mating" of facsimiles, neither fully man nor beast, which, drunk with inebriating pheromones, enslave their wills to the most absurd of heterosexist hierarchies and roles. More heinous still, the ceaseless delirium of heat and rut subdues the higher faculties of omegas until they are degraded into mere vessels of propagation, suffering female gestations and swelling with child as though nature itself had taken leave of reason. This travesty retains not a shred of the human condition, to such a degree that a dispassionate observer would conclude it the issue of a species foreign and unknown to our ownTales of omegaverse concern not the affection of men. They are a mockery thereof, and "Knot" commits the selfsame sacrilege. It exudes a noxiousness that offends both sense and sensibility
I beseech you, readers of discerning mind, to suffer me in naming omegaverse for what it is; nature debased, and love undone. Never was there a fictional "straight-with-extra-steps/pseudo-BL" trope more vile than omegaverse, so at odds with all that is good, that its unwarranted popularity or dominion over minds darkens my view of humanity. How far we have fallen, to delight in the raw, oppressive throes of non-human instinct, or the egotistical drafting of another into existence. I hold it true that the universe erred in drawing forth life, and doubly so in drawing forth our species
However sincere my loathing for omegaverse, I am yet obliged to subject to rigorous scrutiny the pernicious and insidious ideological artifices elevating "straight-with-extra-steps" narratives (e.g., omegaverse, futanari, gender bender) above narratives which, with artistry, devote themselves to the celebration of same-sex unions. And I would venture to propose a theory of my own. Society, diseased as it is with homophobia, cannot bring itself to confront the reality of non-straight/non-procreative desire. It diverts its gaze toward a form of gendered "otherness" (e.g., men assuming the guise of women, and women that of men) to flatter the prejudices of those who would banish the subject of non-straight/non-procreative desire from polite conversation. In final measure, it colonizes BL/GL, planting therein the foreign seed of "straightness-with-extra-steps" and bringing the flesh into the servitude of gestation
The erosion of authenticity is laid bare before us. And the path ahead, I fear, is one of gloom

Some stories don’t just pull you in… they tie you up in feelings and refuse to let go. 🪢🖤✨Knot had me hooked from the beginning.
The chemistry between Boat × Oat? Dangerously addictive. 😳🔥 Every little look, every moment, every twist had me sitting there like… “Okay, what is happening?! 👀”
It’s emotional, intense, a little chaotic, and somehow manages to keep that mysterious feeling hanging in the air. 🖤🌙
And that ending… 👀
Let’s just say the knot was definitely not easy to untangle. 🪢✨

I can tell you exactly when I watched a series this bad. That's right, the great My Stubborn. Cringe asf.Anyways, I hate when the cast looks so delish but they end up not performing well. Half of it is definitely the writer's fault, cuz the writing sucks. I did watch after 3rd episode, but I was skipping through it. Wtf is a plot? This writer is still trying to figure that out. It was so bad that I actually liked the so called villain who got bit by the 3rd brother more than the entire storyline or other characters.
Making a series that bad takes talent, the kind you should keep hidden.
Also, the world building sucked. Hardly a 0.1/10

It’s the first time I’ve watched a series and rewatched it again while looking forward to the next episode
I understand that it might not be everyone’s cup of tea
But it’s undeniably so good if you’re into omegaverse..

Not knowing about ABO existance seems incredulous
It’s pretty strange that Phatsa doesn’t even know secondary genders exist.ABO is clearly a normal and accepted part of this world, with a significant biological and reproductive aspect to it (I guess the main therapies would be endocrinology and OB/GYN). We clearly have specialised medical facilities, people who can also immediately recognise someone’s secondary gender, and nobody treats it as something secret or taboo. And we also have this pretty awesome origin story that’s clearly well known by the ABO community. If that’s the world they’ve built, then ABO wouldn’t affect only relationships and medicine. It would naturally shape education, employment, public policy, and everyday life... it would simply be part of general knowledge.
Moreover, Phatsa would be the last person to be clueless about something this fundamental, since he’s presented as smart, accomplished, and generally someone who’s good at almost everything he does. Then there’s the world around him. Wouldn’t his family or classmates have mentioned it? Wouldn’t children make crude jokes about it when he was a kid himself? Routine checkups in childhood, university housing policies, social media, or even military screenings... all plausible enough for him to at least bump into this concept at least once (no need for more than once, ABO would stand out to anyone).
Even Ongsa, one of his closest friends who’s completely open about being a Beta, somehow never lets anything slip, only to casually explain the entire ABO world to him later, including the possibility that Phatsa himself could present as an Alpha.
The same outcome could’ve been achieved with a little more care. They could’ve established that Phatsa always believed he was a Beta because childhood tests were inconclusive. They could’ve made him an exceptionally rare late bloomer, given him a medical condition that masked the usual biological markers, or simply explained that he grew up isolated from society. Any one of those would’ve made his ignorance feel more believable while still allowing us the viewers to discover the ABO world alongside him (mainly for ABO newcomers, but I also enjoyed learning about it too :)) ).
Without that explanation, it feels too obvious that his ignorance exists purely as a way to introduce the audience to the omegaverse, and that takes me out of the story a little.
As is, the ABO origins are built beautifully, but Phatsa’s ignorance of ABO existence feels ridiculous. I think there were cleaner ways of achieving the same result while keeping the worldbuilding more believable.
Nonetheless, it’s honestly not something I feel particularly strongly about because, in the end, it doesn’t really affect my enjoyment of the story. If anything, it allows us to discover their version of the omegaverse alongside Phatsa, and him not knowing anything about ABO dynamics naturally creates opportunities and tension for him and Nakhun to bounce off each other, learn together, and slowly fall in love.
I’m still really excited to see where the story goes in the next episodes! o(≧∀≦)o

After becoming bonded without even knowing each other's true identities, Nakan and Phatsa struggle to adjust to their new reality.Although Nakan genuinely cares for Phatsa, he feels guilty because the bond has taken away Phatsa's freedom. Unable to leave the estate, surrounded by servants but with no one to talk to, Phatsa gradually begins to feel lonely despite being loved and protected.
Nakan tries to ease his loneliness with thoughtful gifts and continues to keep his promise to respect Phatsa's wishes, showing remarkable restraint despite the powerful bond they now share.
What I enjoyed most about this episode is that the relationship isn't rushing forward. Instead, the story focuses on trust, loneliness, and slowly getting to know each other. As Nakan discovers Phatsa's curiosity, stubbornness, and hidden vulnerability, his feelings continue to deepen.
Even after Episode 3, they still haven't crossed that final line—and somehow, that slow burn makes their relationship even more compelling.

A good story really close to ABO NOT for everyone
The series is having a great start telling you what the omegaverse world is and the ABO specifically. if you are not a fan of the omegaverse world you might find this series weird, awkward or at some point will question yourself what are you watching even if they explained well the fantasy world of it but this doesn't mean it is a bad series, like I said it is well explained, the cas it is really good with excellent chemistry and the acting is great showing you how the heat/rut/pheromones works they deserve a gold star for that and a good review for that, we need to see how the story continues but until these 2 episodes it is good and close to the original nolve from Zelynn. If you are going to watch it do it with am open mind if not then i suggest don't do it but don't give hate to the hard work people did. 😉Was this review helpful to you?
