ep 1 is so lite and the people judging it without watching bro 1) if u don't like omegaverse why are you even here? 2) not upto our expectations let's watch a little more EPs ig?even though I FKING LOVED THEIR ACTING! 🫠🫠🫠 Nakhun's voice so amazing it got me melted and Phatsa I would say kinda lives under the rock he doesn't knows anything abt omegaverse and is the ML it's just a weird ig 🤔
but their scent names would have been a bit commonly knowned ig cause they feel a bit French to me idk why
*edit: 5th ep is so boring could not even watch whole ep without going back the writing and plot is all over the place same places in every ep, and it's more like special EPs of My Stubborn for me they are giving more of SornJun (My Stubborn) compared to NakhunPhatsa maybe when Phatsa gets preg we will get to know more but ig I am dropping the series on ep 5 idk I may rewatch but yea let's see.

Pacing is off
main point: Pacing is off and bad script but the actors tried their best with what they got.I had so much hope for this. We rarely get omegaverse shows so when I saw boat and oat casted for this series I was excited. the best casting choice for a show with this topic. But three episodes in already and I’m disappointed. The pacing and plot is really awkward. I always watch shows half way through before dropping it so three more episodes to give it a fair judgement. On a positive note the actors are giving their all to deliver the story. I did like the vulnerability between phasta and nakhun.

Same Team, Same Problems.
I’m at episode three, and will be giving them another episode or two. I figure that it will either be more of the same and I’ll drop it, like I should have with My Stubborn; or they’ll manage pull themselves up by their bootstraps, and make it worth persisting. There are stupid devices being used here, that make the writing look like sabotage. The direction is very inconsistent, to the point where Oat’s bad acting is screaming and waving its arms in one scene, then he’s being directed into almost naturalistic acting in the next. Even the absolutely stellar chemistry between the leads isn’t making itself heard over the cringe-factor. I’m not optimistic.Was this review helpful to you?

It's good but..
There are little things i want to critique but besides that i loved it. I don't understand how Oats character seems to be the only one (so far at least) unaware about this whole omegaverse happening. Maybe there'll be a reason given at some point but right now i just can't make it make sense. Along with the fact that his secondary gender never affected him until he heard about it.. it was just one of those "wow what a coincidence" moments for me. The editing could also be a bit better. When Boats character and his brother are in the car while the others are fighting, it was a bit too obvious they played the same short fight clip when showing it through the car. I did have a complaint about the terrible translations and fortunately they're fixed now:)! Excited for the next episode.The complaints on ep 2- I wanna applaud boatoat for their acting. I can definitely understand how the "NC" scene was awkward or weird for some people but as someone who has been reading/watching about the omegaverse for a long time, their execution was perfect. Obviously it's gonna aggressive when they're literally supposed to be animals in heat/rut.

Such a good BL and ABO series
Even though only the first episode is out, I already love it so much. I could rewatch it without getting tired. I'd say this is a good series if you like ABO/Omegaverse. I always loved ABO/Omegaverse and this just meets my expectations so well. The actors make it look really realistic and the setting for the scenes are really well chosen. Two main characters have strong chemistry which makes it even better. Theres nothing bad to say. Jesus Christ. I genuinely can't remember the last time I watched something this spectacularly bad.How does a guy make it into his twenties without ever hearing about alphas and omegas when he lives in a universe where literally everyone else seems to know what they are? He's spent his entire life in an ABO world where alphas, omegas, and secondary genders are apparently just a normal part of society, yet somehow nobody ever mentioned any of this to him? Not in school? Not by his parents? Not on the internet? If it's public knowledge, that's ridiculous. If it's a closely guarded secret, then why does everyone happily sit him down and explain the entire concept the moment he asks? And if it's supposed to be secret, why are there public clinics where anyone can casually walk in and get their secondary gender identified?
None of this holds up for more than five seconds. The world-building isn't just weak—it's fundamentally broken.
Then there's the acting. I honestly don't know what standards they used when casting these poor guys, but... dear God. Have any of them ever taken an acting class? Joined a drama club? Performed in a kindergarten Mother's Day recital? Anything?
The only explanation I can come up with is that the casting brief was simply "must be hot." Which raises another question: what exactly is Alpha Guy's brother doing here looking like the Thai Michael Jackson?
Okay, okay, that's mean. Making fun of someone's appearance isn't cool. But I swear that man gives me such severe uncanny valley vibes that I feel like I'm about to fall off the couch every time he appears on screen.
The writer deserves a standing ovation too—for all the wrong reasons. There's a famous writing rule: show, don't tell. It applies to TV just as much as novels. This show doesn't just ignore it—it grabs it by the ankles and launches it into low Earth orbit. Need to understand how this universe works? Easy. Character A just explains the entire setting to Character B in one massive exposition dump. Never mind that it often makes zero logical sense. Or, even better, Character B has literally lived in this world since birth, so why is someone explaining basic facts about society to them like they're an alien who landed yesterday? Nothing feels natural. Nothing feels lived-in. Everything feels like actors reading exposition because the audience needs a tutorial. It's so painfully artificial that it makes me physically cringe. I've read fanfiction written by fourteen-year-olds on AO3 that's more coherent than this.
And the chemistry between the leads? Don't waste your time looking for it because it isn't there. You can practically hear the director yelling from behind the camera: "Okay! Now passionately jump each other's bones!" And they respond with way too much wiggling to the point where I feel like I am watching worms wrestle. I've looked at my McDonald's order on cheat day with more sexual tension than these two have together.
Anyway... This show is basically the television equivalent of driving past a horrific car crash. It's objectively awful. It's probably going to haunt me in my sleep. And yet... I can't stop watching.
There's something deeply, deeply entertaining about witnessing a disaster of this magnitude unfold in real time.

I really like the first episode this is what a real BL series looks like. the actors have so much chemistry on screen together and I love the way the storyline is going. just can't wait for the next episodes. I would definitely be watching this entire series. it's perfect. and the flash backs was great nice add to the storyline. the main characters are really interesting to me. the only thing I didn't care about was the bite on the neck scene that should have not been a part of the storyline. what was that scene for other than that it's a great series I have to change it because episode 2 it was a letdown especially when it came today in nc scene it was weird how I could do was laugh or the scene I don't even know if you should call it the NC scene. I did was rolling around and do other weird crap one the bed they only get one more chance to fix it. but at least is serious didn't remove or cut there nc scenes Even if the scenes are weird viewers were able to see the sceneWas this review helpful to you?
A Promising Omegaverse Romance Turned Into My Biggest Disappointment of 2026
I really tried my best to give this series a chance. As one of my most anticipated dramas of 2026, especially with the combination of the Chinese ABO Omegaverse genre and the reunion of Boat and Oat after My Stubborn, I went into this series with extremely high expectations. It honestly felt like it had everything I wanted: a unique concept, a strong pairing, and the potential to become one of the standout BLs of the year.The biggest highlight is definitely seeing Boat and Oat together again. They proved in My Stubborn how strong their chemistry could be, and they remain the strongest part of this series. Oat is great as Phatsa, while Boat perfectly captures Nakhun's commanding presence and cold personality, making him feel like a believable True Alpha. Their individual performances are enjoyable, and I genuinely wanted to see their relationship develop further.
The series also has many strengths. M Flow Entertainment continues to deliver impressive production quality. The visuals are beautiful, the cast looks fantastic on screen, and the soundtrack fits the emotional moments well. The ABO world building is another positive aspect, and I appreciate that Phatsa is portrayed as an Omega who can fight for himself rather than constantly needing to be protected. He has the potential to be a refreshing and strong protagonist.
However, after watching more than half of the series, I have to admit that the weak plot has become impossible for me to ignore. While the NC scenes and the chemistry between the leads are enjoyable, they cannot carry an entire series when the main storyline lacks depth and direction. The story introduces too many characters and side plots that do not add enough value, making the overall narrative feel messy and unfocused. Instead of building excitement, many episodes left me feeling confused and disconnected from the main story.
The biggest disappointment is that the Omegaverse element, which should have been one of the strongest parts of the series, does not feel satisfying enough. The build-up and emotional impact are not as powerful as I expected, especially considering the potential of the concept. The series had all the ingredients to create something intense and memorable, but the execution did not fully deliver.
The intimate scenes were also a mixed experience for me. While I appreciate that the series is trying to embrace the ABO genre, some NC scenes felt more focused on being visually appealing rather than strengthening the emotional connection between the characters. Compared to My Stubborn, where Boat and Oat's chemistry felt much more natural and convincing, their relationship here has not reached the same emotional level for me.
After 6 episodes, I was already struggling to stay invested. By this point, I felt lost due to the number of characters and storylines, and the main plot no longer gave me enough reason to continue. It is disappointing because the potential was clearly there, and the combination of Boat, Oat, and the ABO concept could have created something truly special.
My rating gradually dropped from an initial 10/10 based on expectations, to 9, then 8.5, then 6.5, and finally 4.5/10 after giving the series more time to improve. Unfortunately, the strong production, world building, and great NC scenes were not enough to overcome the weak storytelling.
This has become my most disappointing drama of 2026. I really wanted to love this series, but after giving it my best chance, I have decided to drop it. I still appreciate the effort from the cast and production team, but for me, the story was not strong enough to continue.

the people are lying to you
as an omegaverse enjoyer, this show is straight dookie!!bad acting, bad writing, bad pacing. Honestly, the only interesting thing is the abo concept but it’s hard to enjoy when it’s overshadowed by pure cringe and wooden actors.
I don’t know if I can keep watching this show, these 4 episodes have felt like a chore to get through. I was excited for live-action committed omegaverse but this is just not good :(
Episode 4 was a totally waste of time, Phasta being jealous over Nakhun having previous partners before him which was so stupid. then, Nakhun lying about being shot for literally no reason. Also this female Alpha (I think she is) randomly showing up and there’s been little to no info on who she is or her connection to any of these characters. Zero time spent on actually developing / build up to NakhinOngsa relationship, Nakhin just suddenly kissed him for no reason and is now into him ???

ANIMALISTIC DISASTER
The first 2 episodes nothing more than NCs with pretty visuals. But eventually it gets better in episode 3 and you can see a potential plot in all of this mess.They finally discovered the ability of communication and not only sniffing each other like dogs. Yes, I do get that this is omegaverse, but still this kind of intimate acts could be performed with much more gentleness and grace. I can't stand to watch these scenes at all. All of them look clumsy and unnecessary. If you skip them all nothing much changes..

Ok, joking, everything's not really that bad.
~ I really love how Oat (Phasta) portrays emotions maybe not flawless but still better than half of the cast .
~ Boat ( Nakhun) seems a little bit stiff sometimes while performing, but still doing good job. He remindes me of Lee Do (from kpop group oneus) sometimes.
I don't like the stylist's job here. He has nice constitution but why do they hide them in all this feminine clothing? Even if the novel requires it still this could be done much better then curling his hair and wearing a blouse.
All of the supporting characters feel so blank to me. I don't know if the development gets better.
Overall, it is obvious that production is cheap, but they've done everything that was possible I guess. It has plenty of rooms for improving. But it is bad as it is now...

This series is everything i didn't want.
I didn't have high expectations for the series (and the novel).Since it's Omegaverse, I would have been grateful for just the "bare minimum" a simple, cliché story would have been fine but no, there isn't really a story here at all. Absolutely nothing happens. The serie explains the mechanics of the Omegaverse, but it lacks a plot, it essentially a story of their days at home or at the café.
Nakhun is a character who doesn't change; in fact, he is getting worse with every episode. He doesn't apologize for what he’s done, nor does he care about Phatsa; he just works, eats, gives orders, spends money on him, and repeats the routine the next day. He wants a baby, yet he barely has a relationship with Phatsa. Phatsa is angry, but he doesn't ask him why or how he can help; instead, he gives him a few affectionate strokes and tells him to come home with him. He does absolutely nothing to try to get to know Phatsa better! his tastes, his hobbies, his friends, or his family... absolutely nothing. He bit him and takes responsibility only for that; he does nothing beyond that, and if he does act, it is solely due to the effects the bite has on both him and Phatsa. Sure, he is affectionate and seems to care about him, but he does absolutely nothing to show it. He is a shallow, one-dimensional character.
Phatsa is completely irresponsible; that might have been okay at the start, but as the story progresses, he just lets things slide, and it makes less and less sense. Everyone tells him what to do, but never why, and he accepts it all without thinking too much about it. The only points in his favor are his initiative: he gets bitten and goes to live with Nakhun; he is unable to work so he agrees to help out around the house, he wants to see his friends but is forced to return home early. He's trying but with all the other characters that stand in his way, there isn't much he can actually decide to do.
The rest of the family is just flat characters lacking depth; they are poorly written characters who show no growth or initiative.
The only "plot elements" in this story involve the father trying to figure out who the pure omega is, and the attacks on the family, yet even these aren't explored properly.
It’s true that i didn't have high expectations, but this doesn't even meet the bare minimum.

5 Episodes In, Still Waiting for a Plot.
Five episodes in, and the fact that it’s an omegaverse is doing all the heavy lifting.Aside from the sexual tension, there’s little in the way of actual plot - no real stakes, no clear direction, no character development, no actual relationship growth.
Just “I’m an omega, I was bitten, and I’m bored” stretched thin across each episode.
