I was so impressed with this drama, that I finished watching it in less than 3 days. This drama filled me with awe that I decided to write my first review. I've never felt an urge to review any drama before. I always avoid melodrama genre, but this one got me hooked. Firstly, I fell in love with the plot, It's pretty exciting with bitter-sweet moments, you'll always feel like something is about to happen. Every episode ends with pure excitement & makes you eagerly wait for next one .

This TV show is real tear jerker. Hats off to Writers, Actors, Director, Music-composer, Editor. I fell in love with the characters, beautifully portrayed by all actors especially the 3 brothers [main leads]. They have done justice to the plot with their great acting skills. I fell in love with director's cinematography & eye for nice shots, I fell in love with background music that correctly fits every scene & moves your heart accordingly so that you can feel the character's emotions well. I loved how they carefully edited every scene and how smoothly & beautifully whole plot unfolds. 26 episodes seem like a lot but I promise you that you wont be bored, In fact you'll wish that this drama never ended.

I gotta say Kim Jae Joong is an wonderful actor, who is HIGHLY underrated... Everyone notices how good looking he is, how great his skin is etc etc etc but honestly I admired his acting skills a lot. He is PURELY TALENTED & GIFTED, of course blessed with great looks as well :) I wish more producers/directors can notice this fact about him being talented, gifted actor & cast him more in upcoming dramas. I wanna watch more of his acting.

Anyone who is contemplating whether to watch this drama or not, Just go for it & give it a shot, I bet you'll fall in love with it & enjoy it as much as I did :)

UPDATE: Kim Jae Joong won "TOP EXCELLENCE ACTOR" Award for his role in Triangle at Korea Drama Awards, 2014. Congratulations JaeJoong !!!

I really enjoyed this drama (although the first 4 episodes were iffy for me - but they were necessary to see the character development) -
Story: 3 brothers who don't know they are brothers b/c they were separated a long time ago meet again by fate and go through countless things before finding out they are all related - is the basis of this plot-line.
Cast: Kim Jaejoong as Yeong Dal/Dong Cheol - the main of the main cast basically lol - he was my favorite character and the reason I started this drama - his character development was the biggest and most impactful during this drama - I loved his story and all the things he got intertwined with along the way - plus his romance was really sweet and nice to see. Lee Bum Soo as Dong Soo - a detective with a temper - through a turn of events finds certain things out and seeks revenge with the help of Yeong Dal. Siwan as Yang Ha - the little jerk of the show basically - raised by a dirty rich guy with no feelings - you could say he has some psychological issues....Jung Hee the girl Yeong Dal loves and the girl that Yang Ha wants - who does she like and how the love story begins - you'll have to see for yourself - I loved her faithful character :) Shin Hye - probably the smartest out of everyone on this drama - she had a habit of figuring things out before others did.
Music: Extraordinary - I loved it to pieces especially Kim Jaejoong's 2 OST songs (I play them all the time)
Re-watch Value: 10/10 I will most definitely re-watch this drama again - I loved it as much as I loved East of Eden <3
Fav. Quotes at the end: "Death is waiting at the end of greed." "If you want to escape life's darkest tunnel, try to love somebody, because great fortune may be awaiting for you." - Yeong Dal/Dong Cheol.

So, this drama is pretty much a typical revenge type drama. I thought with the triangle brother twist that it would be better. The writing and character development is consistent and well done, but I don't think the writer capitalizes on the brothers enough. Maybe this is my own fault because I envisioned a story and ending some what different than what was given. I have a story in my head and I'm disappointed because of that rather than the writing itself. Anyway, it has suspense, violence, birth secrets, etc., all typical Korean drama revenge troupes.

I love Kim Jae Joong. I know that there are tons of people that don't think of him as a good actor, but I think he is good. I finished Dr. Jin and this drama just for him. I like it because I feel what he is feeling as Heo Young Dal. Of course, Lee Bum Soo is like a legend in acting and doesn't disappoint as Jang Dong Soo. Im Shi Wan is just too cute. Who cares if he isn't that great an actor. Although, I think he did a passable job as Yoon Yang Ha.

I actually watched this drama because I adore Baek Jin Hee. She is a great actress and I can see her growing into an excellent actress. She played Oh Jung Hee well even though I thought at times she didn't have much to work with.

There are a lot of extra characters in this drama, but I don't think it takes away from anything and that they all did a good job.

The music is good.

I might rewatch this...or at least the parts I liked most.

If you like revenge dramas, then this is one to try.

QUESTION: WHY IS THE OVERALL RATING OF THIS 7.7???

I almost skipped over this gem but then I saw a glimpse of it on the MBC channel and I was like 'omg I gotta watch this drama'. This drama is criminally underrated!! How can a drama like this get a rating of 7.7? How unbelievable... Anyways done with my ranting...

Story: This story is great honestly, the first few episodes were a bit draggy and boring (I was pretty much clueless) but as you go along you'll catch on! There were no plot holes and I couldn't stop watching bc I was hooked and always felt if I stopped, I would miss a part and wonder about it for the rest of the day. It wasn't very predictable at all! I see a lot of ppl complaining about the ending lol but honestly.. it was necessary. That teaches us a lesson to NOT BE STUBBORN and make the right decisions! Yes, it was sad, but it wasn't one of those typical irrelevant endings that kdramas like to feed to us. YES, the author could have altered the ending but the ending is already justified.

Acting: Okay firstly, Jaejoong-- He is so underrated-- like I've always been like 'oh jaejoong.. the one with a pretty face.. lol he prob can't act' BUT boy was I wrong. He can sing, dance, act... what can't he do?? Baek Jin Hee was very good but I thought her acting was a little weird at times? (like when she's talking it looks a bit TOO enthusiastic if you know what I mean). Im si wan is such a good actor too!! He isn't just a pretty face too guys.. He's excellent at acting wow.

Music: JAEJOONG AND AILEE SANG SUCH GOOD SONGS.

Rewatch Value: I just finished it so I probably won't rewatch it until a few months later..

Overall: I highly recommend! It is one of the best dramas out there.. of course, so underrated.

I'm exhausted. I'm emotionally drained from watching this drama, and that’s a good thing! I am so happy that I actually didn't watch this drama while it was airing, because I know I would have had a hard time waiting for all the episodes to come out, and though I got a few spoilers here and there it made no difference because the journey was amazing. I still felt the stings in my heart from every single heartbreaking moment in this drama. This drama is a hard hitter, in my opinion, it had all the right plot points to make me interested, the characters were deep and complex, and the acting was compelling. I found myself immersed in the world of Triangle, and never wanting to get out. 26 episodes seemed to go by so quickly in the last three days, and it was glorious the entire way through.

The story of three brothers who were separated at a young age and finding one another may seem like an overplayed scenario, but when you write this well and have a cast of outstanding actors and supporting actors it isn't hard to get a viewer emotionally attached. The relationship and the turmoil between the brothers were what kept me going, the fight inside myself that wanted to see them together and happy as a family was extremely strong. It was better than any romance could have brought me. But don't get me wrong, the love lines in this drama as great as well. They may not have as much screen time as many people may like, but it was enough to get you invested in their relationships (romantic) and have you rooting for whoever you wanted. The money, business, gambling, and mob side of this drama is not to be overlooked either. I found all that part of the plot interesting as well. The gambling kept me on the edge of my seat, I was so nervous throughout most of it, if World Poker Tournament on TV was this exciting I would be watching it, however, its not so I don't, but maybe if someone’s life or pride was on the line it would be. All the aspects of this drama, in my opinion, were really well-rounded and brought together well, I didn't find myself wondering what happened to so and so, or how this and this turned out, I thought everything ended the way it should have, and though it brought me to tears and I felt like I had been shot in the heart, it was great.

The acting in this drama like I said before was outstanding. Kim Jaejoong blew me out of the water in this one. Though I never really considered him a top actor, though I’ve always thought he was good, I found his performance in this drama to be outstanding. I enjoyed seeing him play his emotional scenes and his action scenes were top as well. He has improved so much and I'm glad, though I might cry, that this will be his last performance before shipping off to the military. He did a great job and it's really a great piece of work to leave us with while he is gone. Lee Beom Soo redeemed himself to me, though I've never thought he was a bad actor, his role in Prime Minister and I disappointed me, maybe because I didn't like that drama, but here I thought he did a fantastic job. He fit the role perfectly and he made me feel so many things. I thought this was one of the best performances I have seen of him, and I really got into his character. I hope I can see him in more compelling dramas like this in the future and less romantic comedies because he did so well in this. Siwan did a fantastic job as well. He had that look of crazy and sadness in his eyes the entire time, and it fit his role perfectly. His character was damaged and he showed it with a simple look and his body language. He was great, and I didn't expect any less from him. He is one of the idol actors that I think can go so far in the acting field because he just gets better with each drama he is in. I am excited to see him in another drama sometime soon (I hope). Both Oh Yeon Su and Baek Jin Hee played their roles fantastically as well. As the main females in the drama, they had a lot of space to fill especially with main actors who did such a fantastic job. I didn't find them to bring them down at all, and they heightened the scenes they were in. Sometimes I'm not really all the keen on the romantic interested (females) in dramas but they were interesting characters that were written well and played by two talented actresses that I would love to see again. The rest of the cast, who I wish I could talk about separately, Jang Dong Jik, Kim Byeong Ki, Lee Youn Mi, Hong Seok Cheon, SHin Seung Hwan, Kim Byung Ok, and the rest of the cast did an amazing job. All their performances were outstanding and I thought they each fit their roles perfectly. This cast was great!

Overall from the music, to the cinematography, to the script, to the acting it all came together so well for me. I thought that this drama was nearly perfect and it saddens me that I didn't see so many gifs or photo sets of this drama when it was so good. I would recommend it to every, even if you're not much of a melodrama watcher I think there is something in this for everyone. You have action and romance, and tears there isn't really anything better than that in my opinion. To me, this has to be one of the best 2014 dramas I have seen, so I highly recommend it to everyone.

Honestly I am so PISSED OFF at this freaking drama! I have a watched a lot of k-dramas but this one has got to have the worst ending out of all the ones that I have watched. This is absolutely unacceptable! I poured my heart and soul into this k-drama because although it was never pitch perfect, it was damn near pretty close! The cast was outstanding and the storyline kept me going down to a tee. There were a few things that the writers could have explained more and a few relationships that should have been developed more as well. And I would have overlooked these flaws if had it not been for the grave injustice done in the final episode! They did something to the characters that should never be done in ANY k-drama! You will be saying to yourself,'No, they wouldn't do that, would they? No, how could they let this happen?No...no...NOOOO!!' I'm just saying, you are going to be so disappointed with the way this ends. Don't even bother watching it because I made the mistake of doing that and I feel as though my life is a lie. Seriously. So much time has been wasted on this drama like I can't even deal. If I were in SK right now, I would be protesting against the monsters who thought that this would be a good idea!

I just finished Triangle after stopping it previously. It defeated my expectations. It wasn't a typical drama but you did know what was going to happen. The story line was pretty interesting as I had not seen one like it before in a kdrama. The whole Casino Scene was a pleasant to watch because it's different than taking over a clothing or jewelry business. We kinda lost all that at the end but it still kept the same feeling. The cast was really excellent and I cried so much for Baek Jin Hee just to be happy. They picked some good villains too. You will cry when you see this drama. Cry for the actors. The music was spot on and that also made me cry too. I would not rewatch again because It didn't give me enough feels to watch it again. I was just so angry with just every episode something bad happening and even in the last episode. It just irks me to no extent seeing people get away with murder in a kdrama So I would not rewatch for that reason. Overall you should watch it because its like most poor boy gets rich dramas with interesting elements. I really like to learn about new professions in dramas so it's nice to learn a little bit about gambling and that business aspect.

I was afraid of starting this one because of the episode count, but not once did the story or the characters become boring.

The story of this drama felt a little cliche in the beginning, but I was pleasantly surprised at how it was developed. Nearly every character in this is a criminal of sorts, and you can't help by like them more and more as the story progresses. Their interactions were heartwarming and often funny, and the acting was superb all around. If you don't know that Kim Jaejoong is mainly a singer before you start watching Triangle, you won't guess it by watching him act. He is a gifted actor for sure.

I really recommend this drama if you enjoy slowburn romance - one that is more focused on cute glances and hand holding rather than anything more intense, a little action, suspense and family drama. The pace was nice, it was the right amount of frustrating and, even if you can sort of guess how the ending is going to be, the way the characters get there might still surprise you a bit.

In love with the drama.
There are times i cried so much when those three kids separated.
The drama tells about gambling, casino, and gangster.
The plot is uncommon and very touching.

This drama is the first time i spot im siwan.
He is a good actor, so natural and handsome.
I don't like jaejoong as the main cast, he is stiff and has bad acting skills.
The lead female is beauty baek jin hee
She is totally rockin it!

Wish to have another triangle in the future

Failed delivery

Jung Hee the dullest character in the drama, would be better to remove her. The story was too shallow to function and the younger cast ain't helping either. I wanted to see more of the older cast and less of the younger cast. It also had too many plot holes to ignore.

STORY
The story is quite uncommon and unique, but most importantlty, interesting. In simple words, this drama was an interesting surprise. Three brothers were separated, then after years, reunited, not knowing each others they fought each others then reconcile and everything, and what is brilliant is the fact that three of them lived a diffrerent life.
One of them was struggling financially to survive, on his own, he had to beg for money all his life.
One of them was the son of a rich CEO but was still struggling mentally.
One of them was, I would say, in the middle, a cop/detective, also struggling.

We are able to witness their struggles, wether they are rich, poor, or in the middle, and most importantly their character's development which is particularly brilliant.

The lenght of the drama is quite long, 26 episodes, which is risky but it has worked. I was afraid about the lenght in the begining, because I thought it would be boring sometimes, but there is nothing to be afraid of.

Overall it was interesting and entertaining, really. Even the first four episodes were entertaining, although it might seems "boring" or it might seems there are some holes, it is normal since it set up the character's life in the begining and it is important to see where they were starting from so the end will be more enjoyable. I think the first four episodes are important and they are entertaining, mostly the scenes with Jaejoong.... However, the romance in this drama felt unecessary. Literrally, we could skip almost all of the few romance parts and still understand the story withouth prejudice. The romance did not add anything particular to the drama from my opinion. I even felt like the 'story' killed one of the brother because of the romance so the other brother can live with that romance, which is very saddening but mostly weird.

CAST
The cast is good, well chosen, really. The three main brothers were very good at portraying their respective role. More particularly, Jaejoon's acting is remarkable and beautiful. I am very impressed. I would have never though he would be that good. He clearly did a very good job, no complains at all. I clealy felt all the emotions he was playing and everything. He's not only "handsome" he is an actor for real.

MUSIC
Quite good. It build the atmosphere and the suspense quite well.

REWATCH VALUE
I am writting this review after I have just finished the last episode. I kind of want to rewatch the story, because of Jaejoong and the engaging, endearing and likeable character he is portraying which touched my heart.

OVERALL
It is worth to watch it, it is refreshing to see a quite unique story like that which is unfortunately rare to find. Also Jaejoong's acting is impressive and remarkable, honestly you will not be disappointed by his acting.
