Park Hae Soo in talks to reunite with Jeon Do Yeon in a new thriller mystery K-drama
"A Wonderful Insight" announces a confirmed lineup!
On May 20th, it was confirmed that Lee Young Ae, Kim Hye Joon, Kwak Sun Young, and Kim Hae Sook will be the leads for the upcoming JTBC drama "A Wonderful Sight.” It will be directed by Lee Jung Heum, known for his works "Nobody Knows" and "Falsify.” The script will be written by rookie screenwriter Sung Choi. The drama will be produced by KeyEast.
"A Wonderful Insight" is a female-centered, action-thriller drama. It will revolve around the insurance investigator Koo Kyung Yi who's looking over a murder case. Lee Young Ae will play the role of Koo Kyung Yi.
"A Wonderful Sight" will air on JTBC every Friday and Saturday and it will premiere in October. The filming will start this coming June. The drama will have 10 episodes.
This will be Lee Young Ae's comeback to the small screen after four years. She last starred in the 2017's SBS drama "Saimdang, Light’s Diary" with Song Seung Heon, Oh Yoon Ah, Yoon Da Hoon, Park Hye Soo, Yang Se Jong, and more. Lee Young Ae also returned to the big screen in 2019 through the thriller/mystery movie "Bring Me Home.”
Kim Hye Joon became more known through her appearance in Netflix's series "Kingdom: Season 2.” She also starred in "CHIP-IN,” "Matrimonial Chaos,” "Reunited Worlds,” and more.
"A Wonderful Sight" will be Kwak Sun Young's second drama for 2021. She will return to the second season of the hit tvN drama "Hospital Playlist 2.” She also starred in dramas such as "Mystic Pop-Up Bar,” "V.I.P.", "Encounter,” and more.
Just like Kwak Sun Young, this drama will also be Kim Hae Sook's second project for the year. She will also appear in "Hospital Playlist 2" as Jung Won's mother named Jung Ro Sa. She was also part of the dramas "Start-Up,” "Mother of Mine,” “My Father is Strange,” and more. "A Wonderful Sight" will be Lee Young Ae and Kim Hae Sook's reunion drama. They first worked for "Saimdang, Light’s Diary".
