Shin Hye Sun to possibly star as a scammer in a new K-drama!
ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo's next project will possibly be with actress Park Eun Bin.
On July 26, media outlets reported that Cha Eun Woo will be one of the main leads of the upcoming fantasy K-drama The Wonder Fools. According to reports, the idol actor will work alongside Park Eun Bin who also got the offer last April.
Cha Eun Woo's agency Fantagio shared an official statement regarding the casting reports. According to the agency, "Cha Eun Woo did receive the offer and he is positively reviewing it." They also relayed their gratitude for the interest and love of the idol actor and asked for support on his future projects.
This year, Cha Eun Woo led the K-drama Wonderful World with Kim Nam Joo, Kim Kang Woo, Im Se Mi, Won Mi Kyung, and Kang Ae Shim. If he decides to join the new series, it will be Cha Eun Woo's follow-up work.
Cha Eun Woo is known for being part of the K-dramas A Good Day to Be a Dog, Island, True Beauty, Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung, My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, Hit the Top, and more.
The Wonder Fools will be the joint work of director Yoo In Shik ( Dr. Romantic, Vagabond, and Extraordinary Attorney Woo) and writer Kang Eun Kyung (Gyeongseong Creature, Dr. Romantic, and Gu Family Book).
The upcoming series will depict the stories of "defective" superheroes who don't have control over their superpowers.
This upcoming series will be the reunion of Park Eun Bin and director Yoo In Shik. The two worked together for the hit ENA K-drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo and many are already anticipating their possible new project but this time with top idol actor, Cha Eun Woo.
There are no details yet about the characters offered to Cha Eun Woo and Park Eun Bin. It has also not yet been revealed where the K-drama will be broadcast and its airing date.
