Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo is in discussion to lead a new fantasy romance drama.
On August 3rd, media outlets reported that Cha Eun Woo has been picked as the main character for the upcoming drama "This Relationship Is Uncontrollable" (literal translation).
Cha Eun Woo's agency Fantagio Entertainment responded to the reports. According to them, it is one of the proposed works of the idol actor. Nothing has been decided yet.
If Cha Eun Woo confirms his casting, he will be working with director Nam Ki Hoon ("Kiss Sixth Sense" and "Voice 3: City of Accomplices") and writer Noh Ji Sul ("100 Days My Prince" and "Scent of a Woman").
"This Relationship Is Uncontrollable" will be about the irresistible romance between a woman who obtained a book that was completely sealed more than 300 years ago and a man who fell victim to the book.
Cha Eun Woo received the offer to play the role of Jang Shin Yu, the legal advisor to Onju City Hall. He is popular for his outstanding looks, great athleticism, and even his cool and funny personality. One day, he will get involved in an unexpected curse that has been going on for generations since the Joseon dynasty.
There are no confirmed details yet on the broadcast date of "This Relationship Is Uncontrollable."
If Cha Eun Woo decided to accept the offer, this will be his third upcoming drama project. For this year, the idol actor is set to star in the series "Island Season 1" together with Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Sung Joon, Go Doo Shim, and Park Geun Hyung.
He will also be the main lead of the upcoming drama "Sweet and Sour Chicken." Aside from dramas, Cha Eun Woo is also expected to return to the big screen with the upcoming film "Decibel." He will work alongside Kim Rae Won, Lee Jong Suk, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Eun, and Lee Sang Hee.
