Go Kyung Pyo will reportedly join the upcoming drama "Connect."

On November 22nd, media outlet JTBC reported that Go Kyung Pyo will be working alongside Jung Hae In in the upcoming series "Connect." It was offered first to Ryu Joon Yeol, but the actor eventually declined the drama.

"Connect" will be the first-ever Korean project of Japanese director Takashi Miike. He was the one who directed "Bittomo x Senshi Kirameki Powers!," "First Love," "Police x Heroine Lovepatrina!," "Laplace's Witch," "One Missed Call," and more.

The upcoming drama "Connect" will narrate the story of a man who loses part of his body organ because of organ hunters and he will get connected to the person who has received his organ.

Jung Hae In is also still in talks to appear in the drama. If the two decided to lead the series, this will be their reunion since Netflix's original series "D.P." Go Kyung Pyo made a special appearance in the series.

"Connect" will be produced by Studio Dragon and filming will reportedly begin in November. It is still under discussion if it will air on an OTT streaming platform with 6 episodes.

If Go Kyung Pyo accepts the casting offer, this will be his comeback drama since 2020's "Private Lives." This year, the actor became busy filming movies and making cameos on dramas. He made a special appearance in "My Roommate Is a Gumiho" and D.P.

Go Kyung Pyo is set to star in several upcoming films such as "Determination to Part Ways" with Park Hae Il, Rebecca Tang, and Lee Jung Hyun, "6/45" with Lee Yi Kyung, Eum Moon Suk, and Kwak Dong Yeon, and "Seoul Vibe" with Yoo Ah In, Ong Seong Wu, Park Joo Hyun, and more.
