Han Kyu Won will be joining the cast of the upcoming JTBC drama "Insider."
On May 11th, Han Kyu Won's agency announced that the actor will be added to the cast of the JTBC drama "Insider." He will play the role of a monk named Um Ik Soo.
"Insider" will tell the story of Kim Yo Han, a judicial trainee who got involved in an undercover investigation. The series will showcase his different crises as he does his best to change his destiny while in prison.
The upcoming drama will be directed by Min Yeon Hong ("Missing: The Other Side" and "Touch"). The script will be written by Moon Man Se ("Priest" and "Spark"). It will be produced by Ace Factory and SLL.
Han Kyu Won will play the role of a Buddhist monk named Um Ik Soo. He will shave his head for the role. Um Ik Soo is hiding due to his debt because of gambling and he will get entangled with Kim Yo Han.
"Insider" will be led by Kang Ha Neul, Lee Yoo Young, Kang Young Seok, Cha Yeob, Yoon Byung Hee, and more.
The upcoming series will be part of the Wednesday and Thursday drama timeslot of JTBC.
"Insider" will premiere on June 8th.
This will be the first drama project of Han Kyu Won for 2022. He last starred in the JTBC series "The One and Only" with Ahn Eun Jin, Kim Kyung Nam, Kang Ye Won, Red Velvet's Joy, Go Doo Shim, and Jang Hyun Sung.
Han Kyu Won started 2022 with the movie "Special Delivery" with Park So Dam, Song Sae Byuk, Kim Eui Sung, Jung Hyun Joon, Yeon Woo Jin, and Yeom Hye Ran.
The actor made his acting debut in 2015. He has starred in several projects such as "Hostage: Missing Celebrity," "The Tooth and the Nail," "Gifted," "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning," "The Guest," and more.
