Actress Ji Yi Soo is confirmed to work alongside Lee Ji Hoon in the upcoming drama "Desire"
It was confirmed on June 25th that Ji Yi Soo will be added to the cast of the upcoming IHQ series titled "Desire." Lee Ji Hoon and Han Chae Young will also take part in the drama.
"Desire" will be the launching drama of the channel IHQ. The upcoming series will be the second collaboration project between director Kwak Gi Won and writer Park Gye Hyung, who first worked together for the drama "It's My Life" with main leads Park Yoon Jae and Seo Hyo Rim.
The upcoming IHQ drama will depict the suspenseful romance between four men and women who has different desires and goals such as success, revenge, children, and love.
Ji Yi Soo will play the role of Park Da Som. She has a son who suffers from an incurable disease.
"Desire" will be produced by IHQ and Victory Contents who are known for producing popular dramas such as "What Happened in Bali," "Empress Ki," "Angel's Last Mission: Love," and "River Where the Moon Rises."
The upcoming drama series will be released in the second half of the year.
This will be Ji Yi Soo's first drama project for 2021. She last starred in the hit 2019 drama "When the Camellia Blooms" as Jessica, Kim Ji Suk's character's wife. She also made a special appearance on the recently ended KakaoTV drama "Mad for Each Other" with main leads Oh Yeon Seo and Jung Woo.
Ji Yi Soo has also starred in several dramas such as "My Fellow Citizens!," "Solomon's Perjury," "Woman with a Suitcase," "Doctors," "Dear My Friends," and more.
The actress is also expected to appear in the upcoming movie "Single in Seoul" with Lee Dong Wook, Im Soo Jung, Esom, and more.
