Jo Yoon Hee may be part of the upcoming K-drama A Very Common Sense Alcoholic (literal title).

On September 4, media outlets reported that actress Jo Yoon Hee would join Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young and Gong Myung in the upcoming K-drama A Very Common Sense Alcoholic. According to reports, she will work closely with Choi Soo Young and be part of her family in the K-drama. 

If Jo Yoon Hee confirms her casting, this will be her follow-up K-drama after the 2024 series The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection. In the series, she made a strong impact by portraying the role of Go Myung Ji. This K-drama was her first comeback after four years of hiatus.

Aside from K-dramas, Jo Yoon Hee also appeared in two films this year. She was part of the movies A Traveler's Needs and Spring Garden

Jo Yoon Hee also recently participated in a Chosun entertainment show and revealed her daily life with her daughter for the first time.

A Very Common Sense Alcoholic will focus on a woman who grew up in a family full of alcoholics and a successful doctor who went to a rural village to work at Bocheon Health Center. 

Choi Soo Young and Gong Myung were offered the main lead roles. 

Jo Yoon Hee got the offer to portray the role of Choi Soo Young's character's older sister. She is a female mechanic who eventually became an alcoholic. 

Director Jang Yoo Jung (Honest Candidate and The Bros) and writers Myung Soo Hyun (Monthly Magazine Home) and Jeon Ji Hyun will work together for the upcoming K-drama. 

A Very Common Sense Alcoholic will reportedly begin filming soon. According to reports, the K-drama will be released through tvN.
