Jung Hae In is in talks to join the upcoming second season of "Veteran."

On July 5th several media outlets reported that Jung Hae In will be part of the upcoming second installment "Veteran 2." 

Jung Hae In's agency FNC Entertainment responded to the reports through a phone call with Sports Seoul. The agency stated that the actor indeed receive the offer to star in "Veteran 2" and Jung Hae In is currently reviewing the offer. 

The first installment of "Veteran" premiered in 2015. It is one of the most successful Korean films of all time. It attracted 13.4 million moviegoers. 

The first movie "Veteran" reveals the story behind the encounter of detective Do Chul and a tyrannical heir named Tae Oh. It was led by Hwang Jung Min, Yoo Ah In, Jung Woong In, Yoo Hae Jin, Jin Kyung, and Oh Dal Soo.

According to reports, "Veteran 2" will be directed by Ryu Seung Wan once again. It was also reported that Hwang Jung Min and Oh Dal Soo will also return to the second installment. 

There are no details yet about Jung Hae In's possible character and the broadcast schedule of the second installment.

If Jung Hae In confirms his casting, this will be his follow-up movie project after the 2021 movie "Unframed."

Jung Hae In is also booked for several upcoming dramas. He will return to the second season of the Netflix original series "D.P. Season 2" with Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun, Son Seok Koo, Ji Jin Hee, and Kim Ji Hyun

He will also lead the upcoming Disney+ original series titled "Connect." He will be working with Go Kyung Pyo, Kim Hye Joon, and Jang Gwang.
